Staying Spiritually Safe From The Enemy

I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season so far. It’s just now starting to cool down here in Florida. 48° is cold for us here. Lol. My heart goes out to the victims from the California fires. Let’s please keep them in our thoughts. I can’t imagine over 10,000 homes and businesses are burned down.

Christians are responsible to test words of teaching and prophecy. The Bereans were considered noble for hearing the teaching of Paul and Silas, receiving them with eagerness and “examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so” (Acts 17:11). These believers tested the words of the apostles, examining the Scriptures to see if what they were being taught was consistent with what they knew of God’s revelation of Himself. In doing this they modeled the task of all believers. Christians are ultimately responsible for what they choose to believe, no matter whether or not they have been gifted with the spiritual gift of discernment.

When a person becomes converted and receives God's spirit they immediately enter into a war-like struggle against two large opponents and a lot of it consists in the mind. It’s satans most tool to attack! They will have to fight these two powerful enemies every day of their life until they die. The first major opponent Christians face is themselves. They must battle their own human nature with its self-defeating, sinful and destructive tendencies. The apostle Paul referred to this constant battle of the mind Christians face in his book to the Romans. The second lifelong opponent true believers must face is the devil and the world he has deceived into thinking and acting like he does (Ephesians 2:2, 1John 5:19, Revelation 12:9, etc.). Jesus, in his prayer to the Father before his crucifixion, reveals the ultimate attitude of those who do not believe God against those who do. I have given them (the disciples and all Christians by extension) Your words, and the world has hated them. . . (John 17)

Paul tells us, in no uncertain terms, that believers do not fight a carnal war that is so familiar to the world but rather one that is on a spiritual plane. A battle in the mind as I said above. Because “we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against principalities and against powers, against the world rulers of the darkness of this age, against the spiritual power of wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6)

We must create the armor of God to protect ourselves, what other ways can we stop the enemy from influencing us? We have to avoid all evil influences in our life. We can find these influences through music that we listen to, the TV shows and movies that we watch, and activities that are tied to the occult that we can find ourselves silently drawn towards or introduced to via our acquaintances and friends. We don't realize how the little things we do can open up doors and allow legal rights for demonic influence in our life. I'm so guilty of this myself. None of us are perfect nor are we expected to be. Remember Jesus Christ died for our sins. We can repent and be forgiven.

While the fallen angels have no control over your Free Will, they do have some preternatural abilities to influence your thoughts. They will silently tempt you, often to impure thoughts, or into dissuading you from some good effort. Construct a mental picture of Our Lord Jesus Christ during His Passion. Focus on His pierced hands or feet, or maybe His carrying of the Cross, or concentrate on His crowning with thorns or scourging at the pillar. You will be amazed at how fast the evil thoughts will flee.

The dark forces pull out all the stops to trick us out of our good intentions, and it is only by our soul's determination to succeed and by the grace of God's assistance that we can get back on track. The last thing Christ said after revealing his self to a certain amount of people after he rose from the dead was “I leave you with the power of the Holy Spirit So that you may cast demons out in my name.” Without your spiritual armor on tight (the light of God sealed around you), it's easy to fall prey to a spiritual attack. Satan is God of this world.

These so-called attacks don't have to be very in-your-face. As a matter of fact, they work better when they aren't obvious, because you're less likely to do anything about it. Cunning and subtle methods cause us to accept an intrusion into our world as 'the way things are' or 'just part of our personality'. We have no clue we are receiving or are under demonic influence. They never stop. It’s their job here on earth. It’s a constant struggle.

It's important to recognize when we need to call to God to take care of that negative energy. Praying for discernment is key, as well as just simply practicing. I always like to pray for his protection and favor every day I wake up and every night before I go to bed. The power of prayer is very much stronger than what many people realize I believe.

Spiritual warfare is really one of the greatest blessings we have. We don't have to wallow in the darkness, we can call for spiritual protection from the forces of light and they will fight back and raise us out of whatever negative state of mind or being we are in. Praise God we have these ways of protection.

Who are Fallen Angels? Why Does This Matter?

A Biblical Case for Demons and Fallen Angels being the Same Thing…and Why it Matters

By Reverend Mark Hunnemann

I bow before our Lord and offer this blog in a spirit of tenderness and humility…and gratitude to the Lord Jesus who triumphed over all evil.

Let us begin this study with a clear affirmation of the victory of the Lord Jesus over all evil!! Amen!
Colossians 2:15 “He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.”

Many godly, sincere, and knowledgeable people are stating that there is a distinction in the bible between demons, unclean spirits, and fallen angels. Indeed, not a few respected folks state that fallen angels are particularly in doubt regarding their identity. However, I humbly offer this analysis in an attempt to show that all three are the same….focusing on the identity of Fallen Angels.

A year ago I posted an extensive blog which shows that unclean spirits and demons are the same thing in the bible.

Here is the link:
http://archive.aweber.com/paraworld/BFyYL

Please see comments on Revelation below as well). Not a few people were saying demons and unclean spirits were different beings, and I felt the need to address the issue. Please keep in mind that my main goal in this blog is to analyze fallen angels…but, specifically, I want to show that they are the same as unclean spirits and demons. My intent is NOT to focus on the question of when fallen angels fell, but their identity. I personally think that the classical view is correct—Satan and 1/3 of the angels “fell’ sometime before the creation of man, and Genesis 6 is a further rebellion of some of the already fallen angels/demons.

In my theological tradition/denomination (Reformed/Presbyterian) the identity of fallen angels is not in dispute. The classical view is pretty much universally held amongst Reformed theologians. For example, I was reading Jonathan Edwards recently and my views line up with his. But the ultimate guide must be the bible, and not a theological tradition, the book of Enoch, or any other non-canonical book. In addition, we must avoid the temptation to believe the views of someone regarding fallen angels simply because we deeply admire their piety, ministry, etc. Sola scriptura!

Colossians 2:15 “He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in Him”. Let us keep this truth center stage!

There are numerous words used in NT just to describe Satan: devil, evil one, Lucifer, Angel of Light, Accuser, etc. In His all-wise sovereignty, God chose to use different words to identify Satan. Surely one reason was to reveal to us the multi-faceted nature of his being and work, so that we might be all the more informed and prepared—and the more we understand the evilness and power of our enemy, then the cosmic victory Jesus won on the cross will shine with all the more luster!

And of course, think of the dozens of names and titles of our Lord Jesus in both the OT and NT, which accent different aspects of the multi-splendored nature of His Person and Work!

So, we have a precedent/s in which the same person (Satan) or Person (Jesus) is called many different names, in God’s all-wise revelation to us. Hence, should we not expect that the devil’s subordinates would have multiple names as well, yet be the same entity? I believe that what holds true of Satan, is also true of his subordinates--evil spirits, demons, unclean spirits, elemental spirits (Col. 2:9, 20), rulers, authorities, cosmic powers (Eph 6), the devil’s angels (Matthew 25, Revelation 12) are different names for the same entity. That is my premise. Each of these is designed to accent a certain aspect of their nature and activity. But once again, the darkness of evil is the backdrop against which the brilliance and refulgence of God’s glory in Christ shines more brightly!

It simplifies the biblical data without endlessly multiplying the entities populating the spirit realm…and we’ve seen the precedents for this practice of multiple names for the same Person or person.
What’s the big deal? Why waste time on this issue? And aren’t you fixating on evil instead of Jesus?

If the spirit realm is populated by more than one kind of evil spirit, then are we to deal with these different spirits in different ways?  Is one stronger than another? I have heard numerous times that fallen angels are the strongest, then demons, and unclean spirits the weakest…or some variation of this. There is no doubt that some demons are stronger than others—as Jesus said that “this kind can only come out by prayer”, as well as the NT words that indicate hierarchy in demonic realm. However, this hierarchy does not imply that these are different “kinds” of entities….just variation in rank and strength. Think of the military—a general and private have different authority, but they are both soldiers.

Once you add even one more spirit, then the slippery slope comes into view. What is to keep us from multiplying these evil spirits phenomenologically--by how they appear and act…which can be endless? But most importantly, we MUST exegete the bible accurately, in honor of God. God’s precious, holy Word is worthy of careful exegesis and analysis of all topics if we are to accurately expound the whole counsel of God, which would include the identity of spirits in the spirit realm. 24/7 we are in warfare with these beings, so it is an immensely practical issue.

Some may say that I am giving the devil too much emphasis, but surely there is a difference between having a clear understanding of our adversaries, and fixating on them. In fact, it is LACK of clarity that can lead to confusion, and thus, fixation. Don’t we naturally obsessively ponder things that are confusing to us? Once it is cleared up (hopefully accurately), then we can enjoy cognitive rest. As always, we must then make a bee-line for the cross.

One last word of introduction: I’m not writing this to score debate points, but with a spirit of brokenness and humility, to God’s glory and to edify the saints.

So, who are fallen angels, and are they demons, as the classical view states? Given that some ‘big names’ have stated publicly that the identity of fallen angels is unclear, we must reaffirm that we are bound by the bible, and not by people that we may deeply respect.

1. My first argument (as defined in formal logic) is admittedly not explicitly biblical. Ockham’s razor states that: the simplest answer that explains the phenomena is to be preferred. Affirming that that unclean spirits, demons, and fallen angels (as well as elementals, etc) are the same entity is clearly the simplest explanation, and can easily and adequately explain all the biblical and experiential phenomena. No, it is not a biblical argument (logical argument, not red-faced screaming), but my reasoning is cumulative. God is the Lord of language, and He knows that using different names can accent different aspects of the same entity. If demons and unclean spirits can be (are) the same thing, then why not fallen angels?

2. 1 Timothy 5:21 speaks of “elect angels”, which is an obvious reference to good angels. In the bible there are elect and non-elect humans (Romans 9), so we may properly infer that if there are elect angels, then there must be non-elect or (bad or fallen) angels. It is the same Greek word for ‘elect’. Regardless of your view of election/predestination, there is symmetry of elect and non-elect. If you don’t like inference argumentation, then hang on.
3. Matthew 25…
31 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.
32 Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
33 And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left.
34 Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink,I was a stranger and you welcomed me,
36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.'
37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?
38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?
39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?'
40 And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.'
41 "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.    (to diabolo kai tois angelos autou)
42 For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink,
43 I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.'
44 Then they also will answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?'
45 Then he will answer them, saying, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.'
46 And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life." (emphasis added)
Matthew 25….The context is the Second Coming of Christ and the Final Judgment. Note in v. 31 good angels are mentioned, and in v. 41 ‘the devil and his angels” (elect and non-elect) Nobody claims that “fallen angels” is a phrase actually used in the bible, but the key is whether there are bad angels, who had to fall at some time because God didn’t make them bad. Regardless, this text shows ‘fallen angels’ at the public Last Judgment…which means they must have had a very significant role in the overall rebellion against God from the dawn of time. Neither demons nor unclean spirits are mentioned in this text, yet we read elsewhere in Matthew (and throughout bible) of their constant activity of rebelling against God and attacking humans. Clearly, these devil’s angels or ‘fallen angels’ had been the chief agents of spiritual destruction on earth under Satan’s leadership, or they wouldn’t have been singled out so severely by Jesus. Hence, we see a developing pattern of synonymous usage of demons, unclean spirits, and ‘fallen/bad’ angels.

When you read the gospel of Matthew, both demons and unclean spirits are mentioned numerous times, as the agents of diabolical destruction. But in this awful scene of the Last Judgment, Matthew refers to these same entities as the devils angels. I say this gently and humbly, but this one text should be conclusive.

The devil and his angels—that comes as close to what is meant by fallen angels as one can get. Theologians often use terms not mentioned in the bible (like The Trinity) to summarize biblical teaching. Surely, the devil’s angels (as opposed to God’s holy angels) are innumerable, utterly evil, and Satan’s only army since the dawn of history.

At the Last Judgment, the goats (damned humans), Satan, and his angels are consigned to eternity in hell. Demons are not mentioned. Unclean spirits are not mentioned. But ‘Satan’s angels’ are mentioned. Obviously these ‘fallen angels” have been the army of Satan fighting against God/man since the beginning….what we are warned against in Ephesians 6.

Matthew 25 is a summary of all of human and cosmic history, where the Son of Man damns both unbelieving humans, and their spiritual counterparts who have been His adversaries (and ours) since the dawn of time.  In light of this one text, how can we say that the identity of fallen angels is in doubt? If you prefer the term ‘devil’s angels,’ that is fine, but that is what theologians mean when they speak of fallen angels.

And most importantly for our purpose, “the devil’s angels” are clearly synonymous with demons and unclean spirits. If they aren’t the same, then why does Matthew show demons and unclean spirits as constantly attacking and possessing humans, but turns around and has God pronounce eternal judgment on the devils angels at the Last Judgment?  It makes no sense UNLESS, they are one and the same. There is linguistic and theological symmetry of angels, good and bad, in Matthews’s presentation of The Last Judgment. Other than in Revelation, the phrase ‘the devil/Satan and his angels’ is not used, but these are sufficient. The pronouncement of damnation against the fallen angels has to signify that they have been the same culprits mentioned throughout the NT, but called by different names.

To say that these are the angels mentioned in Genesis 6 is eisogesis because the context precludes that interpretation. Besides, the angels in Genesis 6 are said to be already in hell.

4. Jude….2 Peter
6 And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day--
7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.
8 Yet in like manner these people also, relying on their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and blaspheme the glorious ones.
9 But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said, "The Lord rebuke you."
10 But these people blaspheme all that they do not understand, and they are destroyed by all that they, like unreasoning animals, understand instinctively.
11 Woe to them! For they walked in the way of Cain and abandoned themselves for the sake of gain to Balaam's error and perished in Korah's rebellion.
14 It was also about these that Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his holy ones,
15 to execute judgment

My point about this text is that it is consistently and symmetrically angelic….both good and bad angels. Leaving aside the nature of their sin in v. 6, evil angels (whether they were evil before this event is not clear), clearly the angels are fallen angels now, and some are probably in hell (depending on how one interprets the sin in v.6)—but most are active on earth and being blasphemed by the false teachers. In v. 10 Jude is especially (like Peter in parallel text) concerned with the false teacher’s lack of respect for angelic beings, especially bad angels. Curiously enough, in v. 10 the remaining fallen angels are referred to as “glorious ones”…(Greek, doxas), probably to offset the false teachers flippant attitude toward demonic spirits/fallen angels. This is supported by the next verse in which the arch-angel Michael refused to speak flippantly against his arch-foe Satan (once a mighty, holy angel himself) regarding the body of Moses. And then in v.14 the Lord will come with countless ‘holy ones’—an obvious reference to holy angels. My point is that, if you don’t get bogged down in interpretive details of the sin in v. 6, then the consistency and symmetry of references to both good and fallen angels is clear—even Michael is an angel, though an archangel. The angels who fell into sin (v.6)…Satan a fallen mighty angel…Michael an (arch)angel….and the countless holy angels coming with the Lord. So, the context is ANGELS, and would suggest that the ‘glorious ones’ are fallen angels….and that fallen angels are the same as demons. It makes much more sense than bouncing back and forth between different kinds of evil spirits. This is a tight argument by Jude, in which angels (both good and bad) play a key role in the everyday affairs of mankind, especially amongst the false teachers.

 Arguments from Revelation—

There are many different interpretations of this book (only one is right), so I’m not going to go in as much detail as some may like. But there is a general consensus that the movement of the book is from the things that were then present to the future…climaxing with the destruction of God’s enemies and the coming of the new heaven and earth. But within this general temporal movement forward, the visions sometimes ‘double back’ to the present, complementary perspectives on the same event or phase of the conflict between Christ and Satan.

In this flow, back and forth, the Greek word for demon is used:9:20; 16:13-14 (where demons and unclean spirits are used interchangeably);18:2.

In 12:7,9 bad or fallen angels are mentioned…Satan and his angels.
My point is simple: in the midst of the wild imagery of apocalyptic prophecy, there is a natural flow and interchangeability between demons, unclean spirits, and the devil’s angels/fallen angels.

Satan Thrown Down to Earth
12:7 Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels (hoi angelo autou)fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels (hoi angelo autou)fought back,
8 but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world--he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.
11 And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.
This chapter, as with most, is hotly debated as far as when these events occur. May be multi-layered.Some see this as referring to the cross, some to original ousting from heaven, and still others to increased demonic activity prior to the very end. Perhaps there is overlap. Regardless, the cross is center stage at whatever point in redemptive history. In our study of fallen angels, let us not lose sight of that vital fact!

Note in v. 7 that Michael and his angels are fighting against the dragon (Satan) and his angels. There is a linguistic symmetry (hoi angelo autou) as well as symmetry of oppositional parties. Satan’s counterpart is not God, but Michael—the archangel and prince guardian of the church--, and they lead their respective angels against each other in the cosmic battle of the ages—long term and at the end. Good angels vs bad/fallen angels have been in a battle royal for eons. .
Not once, but twice, Satan/serpent/devil/dragon and his angels (hoi angelo autou) are explicitly mentioned as being the infernal army thrown to earth to fight against the Messiah and His people. The timing of this ‘casting down’ is disputed, but certainly the context reveals that Satan and the fallen angels are simply following the same MO that they employed from the Garden—where lies and false teaching continue, as well as persecution and temptation. What are elsewhere in Revelation called demons, are here called “Satan’s angels”—just as in Matthew 25. And the fallen angels are THE spiritual agents of destruction (under Satan) throughout history, aimed at God’s Kingdom…again, as in Matthew 25. My purpose is not to exegete the text in Revelation and the details, but to show that the devil’s angels/evil/fallen angels are center stage in Revelation 12…in what is a classic, significant text in Revelation, no matter how one interprets it.
What is clear to me is that the context reveals that this event is not an isolated one, but signifies the battle in general and that we have the victory in Jesus. Satan has been defanged as far as his ability to accuse us. However, the devil has been thrown down in great wrath, because he knows his time is short. (V. 12) In addition, in v. 4 many interpreters see this as the original fall of Satan and 1/3 of the angels with him.

9:20 The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons (daimonia) and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk,
21 nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.
Again, I’ll not get bogged down in disputed details, but what is clear is that though unbelievers will be tortured by the very demons they worshipped, they don’t take heed from these final warnings. Large numbers of people are subjected to God’s wrath and demonic attack. Whereas in Ch. 12 the oppositional army consists of “Satan and his angels”, in ch.9 the same opposition are called “demons.”.Surely this is instructive.

16:12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, to prepare the way for the kings from the east.
13 And I saw, coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits  (pneumata tria akatharta) like frogs.
14 For they are demonic spirits,(pneumata daimoniown) performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty.

In ch.16 the end has come…the final, decisive battle. Divine restraints are removed and Satan and his unclean spirits/demons assemble the world for the battle; climaxing millennia of opposition to God and His people. God will utterly squash this rebellion, based on the finished work of Christ on the cross. Please note that the army which was earlier called “Satan and his angels” is now called “the dragon/Satan and his unclean spirits/demons.” In the span of two verses, John naturally switches from unclean spirits to demons.
Is it not clear by now that demons, unclean spirits, and fallen angels are the same evil beings?

18:1 After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was made bright with his glory.
2 And he called out with a mighty voice, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast

Notice again, how in v.2 demons and unclean spirits are used interchangeably. Destruction has come on God’s enemies. Not focusing on interpretive details, we see that the oppositional army consists of demons or unclean spirits, which were earlier called “Satan and his angels.”

Does not the verbiage in Matthew 25 now make more sense? Putting aside all the apocalyptic imagery in the book of Revelation, we have a clear portrait of the Last Judgment in Matthew 25, which dispels any fog surrounding the sadistic spiritual culprits.

I trust by now that the cumulative effect of these “arguments” has had its desired effect. demons, unclean spirits, and fallen angels are different names for the same entity. I am not interested in winning an argument, but I want to honor God by trying to rightly divide the Word of Truth.

The more clearly we understand our enemy, the more lovely Jesus’’ triumph over this evil becomes. Yes, it is important to know our enemy, but it’s infinitely more important that we relish in the cosmic victory our blessed Savior accomplished.

More Death & Violence Due to Occult Factions

Sadly more death and blood shed in the name of Satan and his demons. I came across the below article @ dailymail (and below I posted link for the entire article.) Below is just part of the story I believe. Just like with Slender Man. Those two girls were trying to kill their friend as a sacrifice so they could live in the mansion in the woods with slender man. Those are their own words. What is going on? Anyway the below I felt was noteworthy:

'A teenage girl, 18-year-old student Iveth Lopez, is among those being held. The other two suspects were named as Gustavo Dorantes, 18, and Omar Sanchez, 25.
They face up to 40 years in prison if found guilty.
Police say Edwin, known as Piwa, was killed after being fooled into taking part in an initiation ceremony to become part of a satanic cult called the Sons of Baphomet 1.
Instead he was tortured after having his hands tied behind his back after one of the alleged killers persuaded the others their victim should be sacrificed so he could return to life as a vampire.

Police were alerted last Tuesday after his body was found abandoned in the street wrapped inside two plastic bags in what detectives believe was a botched attempt to pass the murder off as a drugs-related crime.
Officers found traces of the victim's blood inside the cyber cafe, which they say belongs to the older of the two men being held, after obtaining a search warrant when a protected witness told them how Edwin had been killed."

So disturbing. Awful to even think about it. Demons are fallen angels sent to torment us just as we have God's Angels making sure any limitations are kept. I found a few articles of this nature online and it disturbed me to know all this is going on. I just know what hell is being unleashed into our world. Their ignorance will have consequences. The news is so depressing many hate to even watch it. It's mostly so negative.

I found on wfaa.com this following little diddy:

'though police said he already confessed.
Instead, O'Neal said, it was a close friend of his. He told KHOU 11 News, that friend was jealous of O’Neal and Robert’s tight-knit friendship.
He claimed the day of the murder, he was at a park with Robert, his friend, his friend’s girlfriend, and the woman’s baby when his so-called jealous friend began stabbing Robert.
O’Neal said he ran for his life and didn’t tell anyone out of fear. During the conversation on Sunday, O’Neal would tap his foot quickly and tremble slightly.
The day Robert’s body was found, O’Neal said his dad took him to the psychiatric ward. Court documents revealed O'Neal tried to commit suicide.
He told KHOU that doctors prescribed him medications used to treat bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
He said he hallucinates and that the devil has been a part of his life for years. He claimed to also believe in God and when he tries to read the Bible, the devil gets upset with him.
O’Neal wants Christina Roberts and the public to know the wrong person is behind bars.
He also mentioned that if he is convicted, he hopes for the death penalty instead of living with the anguish knowing his friend is gone.'
Is that not very disturbing and sad or what? He could be mentally ill no foul but it could be oppression or even possession when these things happen. This world needs prayers against the enemy in a bad way. Satan and his army of demons  break you down piece by piece little by little and you won't even know it. Our minds are the enemies playground. We must always stay in the armor Of God and stay prayed up for lack of better words. It's your best defense. In my humble opinion. This world is getting worse by the day. Terrible things are happening. I wouldn't know where to even begin. But remember we have power over the enemy through Jesus Christ. No ones perfect, we all make mistakes.

Demonic Oppression Is Still A Major Problem

Hello my friends. I hope everybody had a wonderful and safe Halloween and didn't eat too much candy. Lol. That's the best part! Candy!

What Is Demonic Oppression?

Demonic oppression is the work of evil spiritual forces that try very hard to encourage us to sin. It mimics depression down to a T! Discernment, which is a gift of the spirit, is needed to determine which one is actually present. There's a lot of mental illnesses that are not caused by the devil and his demons. We have to be very careful and not blame everything on demons. They have the ability to make us feel spiritually dead, and to be in bondage to sinful activities and thoughts.  This oppressive work is performed by demons, which are fallen angels who resist God, and who sinned in their first estate. This information can be found in the book of Jude chapter 6).  They wage war against God, against God's people, and against unbelievers as well.  Their goal is to bring as many people as possible into rebellion against God and condemnation in hell. They want to drag as many souls to hell as possible.

A demon is believed to be a force that can be conjured and controlled. They are also believed to have the ability to possess or inhabit the body of humans and the only way to rid the person of them is to conduct deliverance and/or Exorcism. Demons are portrayed differently in different cultures. Some believe demons to be actual physical beings that can take the form of anything, including animals. Others consider the real demons as more of a spiritual force of evil battling for one's soul. They  have been feared and written about in almost every culture in one form or another

A Few Examples Of The Type Of Attacks

  • Emotions. Exaggerated emotional states: fear, anxiety, anger, panic, shame, rejection, grief that is over-extended or out of proportion, hopelessness, helplessness.
  • The Mind. Tormenting thoughts of suicide, self-mutilation thoughts, confusion, forgetfulness, blocked memory, self hate, feelings of worthlessness and thoughts of being unloved and thoughts that God won't ever forgive you and He doesn't love you.

How Do People End Up A Target Of Demonic Oppression

Sometimes people involved in occult activity will curse you or your family. It is not that you can actually be cursed as a Christian. Rather, those who are against Christ and his people can focus demonic activity on you. Anger, bitterness and strife. These things feed off that. When we are vulnerable already or depressed better or what have you that's when they zoom in like flies on honey. When we're in that state of mind it's only by the blood of Jesus that we can defeat these vile entities.

I noticed Occult traditions have some ideas about the topic. Tradition suggests a maleficent spirit (or thought) can try an invasion.  Normally we put it out of our mind, and it is gone.  However, if we are passive in the face of a negative influence, eventually our connection with our own Higher Self may be severed.  Our higher self is that part of our being that coexists with the realm of eternal Spirit.  We are normally unaware of our higher self, but it steadily guides us invisibly.  Call it our intuition. A negative entity (or thought) might try to replace our higher self (or intuition) with itself, like a parasite. If we allow it, the entity/thought will become our new, lower self.  Then we’d be stuck, unable to access our higher self’s assistance. Once our own spiritual abilities are extinguished we require help from others.

Second Corinthians chapter 11 verse 14 states: For Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." Demons themselves can trick us and come to us as Angels of light as well. Like I mentioned already, Familiar Spirits are spirits that give an appearance of a person that is familiar to us. Here is a good example: Demons know the history of the property and the person, so they can take on their appearance of any person so you feel more at ease with communicating with them. Satan may have great power, but even the Archangel Michael depends on only GOD'S power when dealing with satan. That speaks volumes doesn't it?

There are many demons assigned to torment us by satan just as Jesus assigns angels to look after us . We have demons of fear running amok trying to destroy any and all humans before the appointed time. Yes they know very well the second coming of Jesus Christ will in fact take place. They already know they are defeated but they will still try to drag as many souls to hell with them or make our life hell in hopes we may take our own life or just live so miserable and depressed we end up making ourselves sick. It is their job to torment us day in and day out. They messed with our heads in major ways. They HATE humans. They hate our guts and want nothing but death for us. But remember, Christ is in control. The battle has already been won. Jesus got his victory and his grave was literally denied because he appeared before a certain amount of people so they could see him and touch him and told them to go spread the word and they said Jesus what shall we do the devil roams about like a lion and he says......and I quote "I leave you with the power of the Holy Spirit so you may cast out demons in my name."

Where oppression is can always be found an original door or access point as some say. The oppressed individual is not necessarily the one responsibility for opening it. Still, something allowed the devil the legal right of entry. What might some of those open doors be? One of the biggest widest doors with a huge welcome sign on it is occult activity. Introduction of occult practices into families can cause oppression for many generations.

Other common entryways are sexual sin, multiple sexual partners, drugs, music with heavy demonic themes or by musicians dedicated to Satan, perversion, generational sins which are manifest by conditions that “run in families” such as addictions, incest, brutality etc.

Demonic Obsession may be quite common.  We don’t need to be devil worshippers, wearing robes and sacrificing animals. People metaphorically sell their souls to the devil everyday. This is a process where people gradually abandon their humanity for some goal they think is more important. For example, some are willing to do whatever it takes to be successful, even if that includes harming others. A good example is a gang member involved in a drive-by shooting, or a big businessman who feels no guilt about downsizing, firing employees and harming families.  After awhile it gets easier and easier until neither cares anymore. Hey, it's just business I'm not personally making up the rules. Every day people sell their souls, if they realize it or not.

Lying is Satan's main weapon against God’s children. He uses the tactic of deceit to separate people from their heavenly Father. The most common lie is "there is no God,” “God doesn’t care about you,” “the Bible cannot be trusted,” But we must remember the apostle Paul tells us that Satan “masquerades as an angel of light” so that what he says and does sounds good and seems reasonable. Another example would be "familiar spirits" demons masquerading as your past love one in order to get a foothold into your life. Of course they would know exactly what to say that only your grandmother would know and they could appear to look like you're lost and dearly departed. The Bible warns us to "be aware of the familiar spirit"

So Who Are the People Who Have Demons?

This writing is done to get you as a reader to understand that every person (human being) living has Demons until they get delivered from them.  The word of God says in John 10:10 ‘For the thief comes to steal (you), kill (you) & destroy (you)’.  This verse is referring to all humans.

So as you are sitting here now reading this blog you are saying “oh come on that is not true”, “your off your rocker”, “oh you’re a whack job”, etc.  Well here is the truth –There are NO (none/zero/zip) Scriptures that say an UNSAVED or SAVED person CAN or CANNOT have demons, or that the demons leave when a person gets saved.  So who has demons? EVERYONE!!  Even Christians professed in Christ Jesus have demons until they get casted out and that is who those of us in the Deliverance ministry who do this to help.

The Bible says in Mark 16:17 ‘THOSE THAT BELIEVE SHALL CAST OUT DEMONS.’  That means ALL Believers - MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN are to cast out demons.  Demons are anything that control, harasses, torments, or drives a person to do things they ought not to do, or wish they didn't do.

Examples of demons would be as follows: temper, depression, fear, sickness, envy, anxiety, lust, greed, pride, suicidal thoughts, mental illnesses (schizophrenia, bi-polar, Tourette’s), homosexuality, rejection, abandonment, hurt, body illnesses, anger, rage, obesity, vanity are just a few of the demons. They are INSIDE of you as well as others!

Human beings are body, soul, and spirit.  The demons (fallen angels) get into our body through sin, ancestral aspects (curses) and other forms of actions.  The demons enter through one of five gates of the body (eyes, ears, nose, mouth and skin).  Demons are the reason morbidly obese people cannot keep the weight off in many cases. ONE SIMPLY CANNOT DIET A DEMON AWAY.  These forces must be cast OUT in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

The demons get in the soul (which is your mind, will, and emotions).  Once there they cause the person to think, do, and act in a way they shouldn't and wish they hadn’t.  The Demons CANNOT get into your Spirit though, because this is where the Holy Spirit is found.  This is why Christians CAN and DO have demons.

However, the unsaved are rooted far deeper because Christ Jesus is not present on the inside.  Now these people (who have not accepted Christ Jesus into their hearts) can be wonderful and good people but they still have demons.  The demons surround your spirit area so one cannot do the things they ought to do, like pray, read the Bible and study the word of God as a Christian.

So here is an example to understand.  If you clasp two hands together tightly interlocking your fingers and squeeze hard and run water over your hands what do you notice?  See how nothing can get inside of your palms, not even water or air for a matter of fact.  This is what the demons do to your spirit area, as this is the place where the Holy Spirit reside within the believer.  So the act of deliverance releases these demons, which causes a believer to now grow closer to the Lord Jesus Christ.  Obviously there are Christians who are not yet totally "clenched" by the demons, but it is the goal of these Fallen Angels to clench them down even further by causing willful sin.

So do demons still possess Christian people even today?   Well not possess but rather have them in control so to speak, meaning in the grasp or grip.  Non-believers are in the grasp further than the Christian.  In the book of Zechariah, an Old Testament prophet, who spoke of the time when Christ Jesus would arrive.  Zechariah said “In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness” (Zechariah 13:1).

This fountain was opened when the Lord Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross for the sins of the world.  Zechariah said “And it shall come to pass in that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered; and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land (13:2).” Following the time when the Lord Jesus Christ would die for our sins, prophets (men who spoke by the Holy Spirit) and unclean spirits (demons) would no longer be in the land (earth).

God provides permission for the demons to possess (be in the grips – not own them for God the Father owns all souls) so to speak.  Certain people in the time of Christ Jesus and the apostles dealt with demonic forces so that HIS power could be seen.  Not only did Christ Jesus have power over nature, disease, and death, but HE also has the power over the spirit world.

The Devil and the demons were proved to be powerless before the Son of God (Colossians 2:15; 1 John 3:8).  Demons still exist and they do pursue sinners (both willfully sinning Christians and the non-believers) to place in them into the grips to this very day. Today, we need to be concerned even more with the Devil, the demons and those messengers of Satan who tempt us to sin (James 1:14; Matthew 4:3; 1 Peter 5:8).

Here is the sad reality so to speak.  Christians, unfortunately, think that just because they have turned their lives over to the Lord and the Holy Spirit has come into their lives, that they are safe from the wiles of the Devil.  WRONG!  Satan loves to hear this and preach this as well. The Devil has a good chance of wrecking that Christian's life, because evil is a powerful force which takes discipline to overcome by resisting sin and the temptation to sin.

Christians are not building their arsenal for warfare properly.  Christians are not “in training” to ensure they are ready to do battle with demons or the devil directly, let alone the non-believer which is far worse.  Sadly, Christians today seem to do just enough to stay on “par or status quo.” Just enough reading and praying that the majority of Christians partake with is just enough to keep their knowledge and battle expertise at some small level as the day they gave their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ.

However, one must realize that Satan has a plan for all lives, just as God has a plan too. Both are going to fight for each and every one of us. God is the stronger of the two, which we know this, but HE also tells us what we need to do, how to do it and what will happen if we do what He tells us to do. However, if Satan can interfere with that advice and get the person off track and keep them off track, then Satan will probably win the battle.

So now you understand even more about humans having demons!

Residual Hauntings -- The Falseness Exposed

In this blog I am going to help you the reader understand what paranormal people like to claim as a “residual haunting” to be real.  The haunting is real, however, in order to understand why it is real you need to read the blog “My Haunted Home, the Truth Revealed” so you can understand why this blog which is about residual haunting’s are FALSE.  From the blog ‘My Haunted Home’ I explained who it is doing this activity and why they (DEMONS) are doing this to begin with the home, house or building.

As a refresher so to speak the 3 main reasons a house, home or building is full of activity is:  (1) The former owners were not righteous people thus they engaged within the occult realm giving the Demonic rights to that previous family as well as the residence (i.e. house/home) (2) Sin is present in the lives of the people who now reside within the walls of the house or home (3) Cursed objects are present within the walls of the house or home.

So let me expand your thought pattern upon this subject even more.  In the Holy Bible there are very specific verses which explain as well as nullify the existence of lingering around (Ghosts) after you die.  The very word of God stands as truth and debunks what one can consider a ‘ghost’ as well as a ‘residual haunting’.  When you discuss this type of activity you have to understand this is a lot of falseness with a little truth mixed in.

The truth is that the Demonic are involved pulling strings with some type of intelligence behind this type of torment.  Realize that the Demons are Fallen Angels who are highly intelligent about mankind.  They know more about man than man himself due to the length of time existing since creation.  Now people take and mix into this whole mess of a ‘residual haunting’ a lot of falseness that a person who passes on is doing this act over and over again at the same time or in a similar matter/pattern.  The truth is this, it is the Fallen Angels doing this activity as they are the intelligent ones drawing a person to become more curious.

So I shall explain to you what the very word of God states regarding ‘residual hauntings’ which are false and cannot exist.  We find the very answers from the Holy Bible to nullify a ‘residual haunting’.  The first one is taken from the Book of Job.  Job 7: 9-10 KJV states the following “As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no more.  He shall return no more to his house, neither shall his place know him anymore.”

Who is the He this verse is referring to?  This is man, woman or child.  Goeth to the grave – meaning you die – this is final no more can you come up (even as a lingering spirit – i.e. Ghost).  Follow this with the next part – he shall return no more to his house – Why because you have now faced judgment from God – awarded Heaven or cast into Hell.  Lastly, his place (object) shall not know him anymore – meaning one cannot get out of Heaven or Hell to come back, hang around in your once known earthly realm which violates the authority of God.  As I like to say it like this – you think you have more power than God?  Really, do tell me how?

Now to further add even more support here is what is said in other verses within the Holy Bible about residual hauntings as well as the thought process of having Ghosts. Further in the book of Job we find these words in chapter 14:10-12 KJV states “But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?  As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up: So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.”

Once again we see that when you die you cannot rise up, go wander about (like a ghost) and reside in your once living paradigm of the earthly realm that you had.  If that is the case then you have more power than God and thus Satan and all forces of evil would fear you!

So to further explain why ‘residual hauntings’ cannot be from once living humans let me examine these Holy Scripture found in the book of Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 KJV which states “For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.  Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion forever in anything that is done under the sun.”

So as you can see this is a double ‘whammy’ against both ‘ghosts’ and the aspects of a  ‘residual haunting’ from this verse above.  As you can read and now understand when you die you have nothing to do under the ‘sun’ anymore.  No more day or night, it is either now Heaven or Hell for your soul.

So why is then that many of the so called experts in the “paranormal realm” ascertain that these activities are occurring is because ‘they are simply lost souls’ wanting to hang around or are angry because you ‘remodeled their home’.  I recently viewed something online which this person stated you linger around because you worked your ‘butt off’ for what you had and now these people are changing everything within your home.

NO, the new home owners can do what they want because you are no longer here.  If you want to continue to believe in ‘residual hauntings’ of a home because of the spirit being upset with the new homeowners, then let’s discuss all these ‘haunted cars’ that are on the roads.  A majority of everyone has or had a vehicle within the last 50 years.  Let’s examine those cars who people took very good care of and since they are dead would they not too be “upset” because someone else is driving “their” vehicle?

So as a reader you’re going to tell me a car is different than a home?  You’re going to say you are comparing apples to oranges.  So am I really?  An object is an object and a possession is a possession.  If you owned it (i.e. a car/truck) then why are you (as a ghost) not going after those who are now driving your former mode of transportation?

How many stories are going around with all these vehicles having a haunting?  Very few and as a matter of fact, and I am willing to bet less than 1%.  More activity of ‘residual hauntings’ are taking place within the walls of the home. The answer why lies with what has taken place inside the home prior has much more strength for evil.  Many more SINS were committed inside the walls of the home/house than inside of a vehicle.

Satan's Limitations

I'm sure many of us already know that there are limitations that Satan and his demons have on them. They are terrified Jesus Christ because they are truly petrified of being thrown into the lake of fire for eternity before the appointed time. Demons know they do not have the power that Gods Angels do. Satan knows he does not have the same power and wrath that God has. They know they can only do so much.

Satan is not omnipresent

Satan is an individual personality, so he can be in only one place at a time (as seen in Job 1:7). So when we say that the devil is personally tempting us, more than likely it is his power working through his network of demons.

Satan is not omnipotent

Because of this,  many references to Satan or the devil include his whole kingdom. The person of Satan does not personally tempt each of us for he simply cannot do that. Satan must rely on the following agents to carry out his temptation: His Army of demons, the world system which lies under his control, carnal or ignorant Christians he is able to use as he did Peter (Matthew 16:22-23), unbelievers under his influence or domination therefore, he can surely be resisted and made to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. but only by the strength of God all mighty made available to believers in Christ (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Satan is not omniscient
Satan is an angel and angels don’t know everything (1 Peter 1:11-12). There is no indication in Scripture that Satan can really read our thoughts despite it is a common belief. Because he’s an expert on human nature, he’s pretty good at predicting our behavior and can easily tempt and corrupt weak humans.

Satan is not self-existent.

He was created by God . It can even been said that God created and uses Satan to his own ends (2 Corinthians 12:7).

Another one of Satan’s limitations is that he is not allowed to reveal or show himself, being forced to work solely  by secrecy and deceit. He is NOTHING but our vicious enemy to all human souls, but non-appearance is a significant containment of his power. 2 Thessalonians shows us that Satan must content himself with an appointee, the man of sin, who will appear on his behalf at the end of time, only to be immediately destroyed by the brightness of the coming of Christ.

Satan is now a spiritual vagrant, powerful, yes, with a vast host of fallen angels doing his bidding, but he must tempt us from ‘outside’, and secure our co-operation for everything he wants us to do. He is certainly the prince of this world, but a prince with no palace or rights a dispossessed and a doomed prince. This limiting of Satan is also referred to in the book of Revelation, chapters 12 and 20, the last of these telling us that Satan would be bound during the Christian era so that he would not be able to deceive the nations any more by keeping them in total spiritual darkness. All nations would be penetrated by the Gospel of Christ.

Lying is Satan main weapon against God’s children.

What makes these demons dangerous Is they are very cunning, and very patient. They lie and manipulate better than the best lawyers and politicians. And they will subtly influence someone for decades if they have to, to gain the coveted result. They have no boundaries of what they will not do to further their own ends. They kill people, they cause severely debilitating illness. They tear families apart, they take all that is good and pure and drag it through the dirt and blood until there is nothing left. They are never to be taken lightly or as a joke. It is not adventurous or romantic or 'cool' to be as hunter. It is dangerous. Not just physically, but spiritually. Whatever they can do to you physically will end, because life is short. But spiritually... the soul is immortal. We who are filled with faith and the Holy Spirit we have nothing to fear,..absolutely not. We all know how this ends and so does the enemy and his network of demons and they know how this all ends. And it isn't good for them. It's only a matter of time.

Here is more great news on his limitations God set forth:

He was casted out of heaven. Isaiah 14:12-14 stipulates: "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didn't weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

2. He cannot devise a temptation that is so great that God cannot deliver us from it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Satan is no where near as powerful as God. And he knows this too.

Revelation 20:10; 'And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.'

Ghost Hunting and Using the St. Michael Prayer

This blog is inspired from many paranormal teams stating openly to people who are on “Ghost Hunts” to just say the prayer of St. Michael for protection.  However, what those paranormal “Ghost Hunter” type people do not understand is that you’re openly mocking God.  God commands you to NOT contact the dead as you do not understand who it is one is getting communication from.  Then one goes out to violate “his” laws and which those who are openly violating these laws pronounce words to an Angel and expect the Angel or God to protect them.

So do you know how the St. Michael prayer truly came about?  Many of you do not understand how and why this came about, but some state this openly in dealing with the paranormal aspects.  Therefore I am going to assist you in learning about this very specific prayer.  At the end of this blog you will understand much more and why reverence is required and not done in a mocking manner as when one is promoting falseness.

Here is how this prayer came about.  Exactly 33 years to the day prior to the great Miracle of the Sun in Fatima, which was on October 13, 1884, Pope Leo XIII had a remarkable vision. When the Pope had finished celebrating a mass in his private Vatican Chapel, which was attended by a few Cardinals and members of the Vatican staff, he suddenly stopped at the foot of the altar.

The Pope stood at the altar for about 10 minutes, as if in a trance, his face ashen white. Then, going immediately from the Chapel to his office, he composed the prayer to St. Michael.  This prayer had instructions which it was to be said after all Catholic low masses everywhere.  When those associates asked what had happened, he explained that, as he was about to leave the foot of the altar, he suddenly heard voices - two voices, one kind and gentle, the other guttural and harsh. They seemed to come from near the tabernacle. As he listened, he heard the following conversation:

The guttural voice heard, the voice (implied) of Satan in his pride, boasted to Our Lord: "I can destroy your Church."  The gentle voice (implied) of Our Lord: "You can? Then go ahead and do so Satan." To which Satan responded “To do so, I need more time and more power."  Our Lord responded:  "How much time? How much power Satan?  Satan responded: "75 to 100 years, and a greater power over those who will give themselves over to my service."  Our Lord stated: "You have the time, you will have the power. Do with them what you will."

So examine this event which occurred in 1884.  Satan stated it needed 75 to 100 years to destroy the church.  So if we add 75 years onto 1884 we arrive at the year 1959 and on January 25, 1959, that Pope John XXIII publicly summoned the Second Vatican Council to address relations between Church and the people.

After this vision, Pope Leo XIII immediately wrote the prayer to St. Michael to help humans overcome the devil in the quest to rule.  God the Son has already defeated Satan.  Now, the next question truly to ask is where in the word of God are we commanded to say this prayer?   Where did the Lord God Almighty state this must be done?  Our Lord God gave us the Lord’s Prayer which is far more powerful.  However, realize this –the point I am making is that the subversion possibly started back from this vision.

It is the Pope (man) who instructed that it be said after every low mass in the Catholic Church.  Look at this further, God said to Satan “Do with them what you will”.  This was a ploy from Satan to start to pervert the Church which God had granted permission to do so.  Do you see this?  Why would this man state and then write a prayer to an angel when we are commanded by our Lord God to not pray to the angels.  Even the angels stated do not do this Rev. 22:8-9.

Now examine this further.  The Leonine prayers were eliminated in 1964, the 80th year of what Satan stating it needed 75 - 100 years needed to destroy the Catholic Church.  It would seem that this would be the time to especially say that prayer, not to delete it.  But remember we are not to pray to angels.  Now the 100th year is 1984 and Pope John Paul II had let Satan develop a church that is called Catholic, but is not.

Satan has twisted and distorted the Catholic church teachings so much that there truly is a brand new church, which is a new order (Novus Ordo) and the true church has been reduced in population to a mere shell of what it once was.  The definition of Novus Ordo is short for Novus Ordo Missae, which literally means the "new order of the Mass" or the "new ordinary of the Mass." It is used to refer to the Mass promulgated by Pope Paul VI in 1969 to distinguish it from the Traditional Latin Mass.   Note this point the church will and shall survive:  "That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world." Matt. 16:18 & 28:20.

Now to digest why would those in the paranormal world state or use this prayer when they enter a building or locale for investigation to use the prayer of protection to an Angel is mind boggling.  As we know prayers to Angels are forbidden by God’s word.  Make things worse these individuals are going into this “act” under falseness thinking these are “Ghosts” or “lost souls” of passed on loved ones lingering around.

This is falseness!  Stating this as your prayer because a person is mocking God because they are lifting prayers to an Angel.  This prayer was not meant as a rite for exorcising a particular person but "for general use - to combat the power of the evil spirits over a community or locality” based upon studies of this prayer.  Evil spirits are fallen angels and are not “Ghosts”.

The prayer to Saint Michael that was included in the general exorcism rite is used for combating evil spirits in a locale.  So how can one be engaged in removing forces via stating this prayer in a locale when they are searching for “answers” and asking something to come forward to answer questions?  This is a twisted agenda and mockery.

You cannot serve both light and darkness at the same time.  Any paranormal person doing this prayer act for “protection” is misguided and is guilty of flat out mocking the Holy Trinity.   Why?  You are purposely seeking “answers” under a hidden agenda of wanting to help people instead of casting out the forces from the locale you are in.  Nothing to investigate when it comes to why Demons are in a locale!

God’s Blessings.

Shamanism: The Ritual Act of Witchcraft

This blog is intended to help those of individuals within the paranormal realm understand what Shamanism is.  Many people understand a Shaman to be a “God” ordained individual to help assist with spiritual matters.  Today you will even see many paranormal people aligning themselves with these “Spirit Healers”.

So then what is a Shaman and then what is Shamanism?  A Shaman is known by a variety of names — holy man, priest, medicine man, even the adjective “witch doctor” within primitive cultures.  So what then is Shamanism?  Shamanism is a method where an individual (a shaman – described above) attempts to solve problems through manipulation and contact with the spirit world.

Merely this is an act of witch doctoring in the animist religion.  This means that all things that have spirits are equal with us humans.  These spirits are everywhere, permeate into our world and can affect our lives.  Shamans use altered states of consciousness to contact spirits which can be either good or bad in order to learn the future, make decisions, or attempt healings of people who might be oppressed by bad spirits.

As we have learned from previous blogs that these good and bad spirits are the Fallen Angels and Demons posing as “good and helpful” entities willing to assist.  Shamanism uses these spirit guides, contacting these guides in order to have them direct life.  Shamans use astral projection, where the spirit of a person leaves the body and travels into the spirit world and various means of predicting the future such as throwing bones. Therefore, Shamanism is divination and sorcery and is generally practiced by Indian tribes.  The Bible condemns divination as a sin see Leviticus 19:25 and Deuteronomy 18:10 KJV.

The Holy Bible clearly tells us that this type of act is wrong and violates the precepts of what God has deemed proper and righteous.  Shamanism is a form of Animism which views all created things -- humans, animals, plants, landscapes, elemental forces and seasons -- as having an intelligent, communicative life force or spirit.  It is similar to modern Buddhism which also worships the planet and everything on it.  Therefore this is a form of worship of the creation from the creator and the bible clearly tells us that we shall have NO other gods than thee!

Shamanism is an intentional effort to develop intimate and lasting relationships with familiar demons. The Shaman is consciously going into controlled visionary experiences (a form of demonic possession) to connect with these spirit beings who guide, guard, instruct, bless and in the end drag their soul to hell.  As I have stated and others as well, Demons can appear as all sorts of things.  These demons can appear to be spirits of nature, animals, plants, the elements (earth, air, fire & water), ancestors, gods, goddesses and teachers from other religions.

For Shamans to be effective they must have a strong personal relationship with these demons. Ultimately, the real healers are not the Shamans but the demons.  Therefore why would a person who is suffering from diabolical issues bring in a person such as a Shaman who uses demons to fight demons?

Using this mentality is a dangerous act as it does not make sense.   I am not bashing individuals who choose to seek this type of assistance out to “help” them out of horrible situations, but rather understand who it is that you are engaging with and using within your life to help you out.  In a sense would you invite Satan to dine at your table within your own home knowing that you are having demonic issues?

The Shaman individual functions as a conduit or channel of spiritual energy and power received from these spirits.  However, the Shaman is the source of power for these demons through fasting, sweating, vision quests, drumming, rattling, chanting, dancing and being possessed by these demons posing as spirit guides.  This soul power generated is then directed by the demons for their own use -- and also to aid the Shaman.

Any supernatural assistance comes with a price on the demon's terms.  No exorcism is possible, since Satan is not about to drive out part of his own kingdom.  All that is done is a negotiation for the replacement of one malicious demon for a more powerful demon.  All physical healing, fertility or a blessing comes at a spiritual cost.  An example of this is found in Genesis 3:1 regarding the serpent and Eve as you shall learn more about below.

One of the most seductive traps these demons offer is to assist the Shaman on a spiritual journey that is partly imaginary and partly soul traveling (astral projection).  The demons offer fantastic trips of seeming great importance, offering enormous secrets that only they are privy to.  There is just enough truth in it to make it look valid.  All of this leads to great delusions of grandeur that this person couldn't reproduce in real life and sometimes this act leads to insanity.

Sadly the paranormal people who started out with seeking the truth with which to truly help those suffering end up caught in a web of further deception.  Ultimately the family or individual facing diabolical aspects receives ever more diabolical reactions against them.  Both parties, the paranormal investigators as well as the afflicted family or persons started out seeking the truth but they had no direction to turn to find truth due to running into the schemes of Satan.

What one will find when a Christian has a very strong discussion with a Shaman is that they themselves are still seeking truth when you run might across them.  Recently a few weeks ago I had an impromptu meeting with a man who was trained by a Shaman Witch.  The man was so fascinated about the discussion of Demonic forces and the Lord Jesus Christ.

However, this man had rejected sound foundational beliefs due to trauma in his life (much like what we witness daily in this field) as he was mixing Witchcraft acts with Christianity.  The young man would not call upon the Lord Jesus Christ, but call upon the “great spirit”.  Sadly the “great spirit” is not what this young man believes to be true and accurate.

Christians have the truth which Shamans have not been quite able to find.  We can heal and drive off demons without it being a Faustian (deal with the devil) bargain.  When presented properly with the truth they are often the first person within the tribe to become a Christian when the Holy Gospel is presented to them. The Shaman may not be able to hear the gospel due to being heavily infested with demons.  Therefore the Shaman needs to go through proper deliverance to be set free.

So now that you understand the truth why would an individual use a person who is not in line with Lord Jesus Christ to defeat Satan?  Satan is possessive of the people he has in his grips and Satan will send demons & slaves to try to reclaim those people or attack them.

Blessings in the name of Lord Jesus Christ to all of you.

Symptoms of Spiritual Pollution, Part 6

In my continuation on the blog series Spiritual Warfare from the last time I discussed the critical aspect of Discernment about one’s belief and what God views discernment as.  In this blog aspect we will now cover what many refer to as the Spirits.  So what are the spirits?  Demons or Fallen Angels?  This I will answer for you.

In the spiritual warfare beliefs, one is taught that there are good spirits and bad spirits which one must contend with.  Ministry call the good spirits “angels” and the bad spirits “demons”. People feel angels are your buddies—wrong.  These are allies in this battle who assist to protect and defend you against the powers of darkness.  Demons are the rulers of this earth.  These powerful forces of evil who can only be defeated by great faith and some ritualistic behaviors. This is what many are taught, and it’s a bunch of nonsense.  If you’re going to get the proper understanding of the spiritual realm, I need to start at the beginning.

There are demons and angels.  Understand these are two different names for the same type of creature.  Ponder this, is a human stronger than a person?  No, those are two interchangeable words for the same metaphor.  So therefore, demons are equal to angels.  These are angelic creatures who rebelled against God and are no longer righteous in His eyes.  Angelic beings (demons and angels) are very different than human beings.  God has limited interests in giving a warrior an in-depth education about those differences.   This puts the person at a major disadvantage. You will never outwit an enemy that you can’t even understand.

Now while God prevents you from understanding angels and demons, God gives these beings an education about you.   These creatures can read your mind, can hear what your soul speaks to God and can discern your very inept intelligence.   Angelic creatures view us as quite unimpressive.  If demons are the Lamborghini of cars, then humans are those cheesy plastic cars that a toddler “drives” by sitting inside of it and pushing the feet to the ground.  In our world - earth, it’s mind-blowing how ineffective you are.

A human can’t manipulate matter, but angelic creatures can.  Oxygen is necessary to breathe, angelic creatures have no use for oxygen.  Instant transport of yourself to different locations around the earth is not what humans can accomplish, but angelic creatures can.  We have to eat, sleep, and protect ourselves against the elements.  We have all the strength of a piece of lint and we are incredibly unwise about relying on our physical senses to guide us in life.

So what about those who can see demons?  Many Christians who think they have the gift of discernment believe they can see demons.  What are you really looking at when you view whatever it is you see?  Are you viewing what demons really look like?  Of course not.  However, you are seeing an illusion of a creature in costume.  Angelic creatures can appear to a person in a massive variety of forms.  Amazingly is how much emphasis we put in their images used and we’re incredibly easy to deceive.  If they appear to you as an ugly looking gargoyle, you actually think that’s what they look like.  When introductions happen as giving a certain name, you actually believe that name is true?

Hearing some demon “expert” from the Church boast about the extensive knowledge of the demonic ranks, having maps of demonic strongholds and they’ve figured out which demons work where and such talk is pure folly.  No one grasps that angelic creatures communicate with each other on a regular basis.  If demon #1 scared the pants off of you by coming in a certain form, they communicate that data to demon #2.  Demon #2 then comes on a different night, appearing in the same form and you declare you’ve been visited by the same evil entity.  No! Actually you’ve been visited by two different spirits, but there’s no way you can discern them apart because God has reserved intelligence from you.

What often passes for “the gift of discernment” these days is a little more than a vivid imagination and a head full of gullible garbage about what demons look like and act.  Certainly demons are real and sometimes they appear in visual forms.  However, they just toy with our imagination and make one think they viewed something that you didn’t really see.  Demons love toying with the mind and senses.  It is so easy for demons to send that creepy tingly aspect up the spine which one would interpret as their glorious gift at work.

Churning your emotions like a stormy sea is easy for the demons.  Then you seem to interpret the whole thing as evidence of your deep spiritual insights.  That would be like me kicking you in the shin and asking “Did you feel pain just now?”  Clearly all you have a deep understanding of the human nervous system.  Feeling your nervous system react to stimulus and understanding the mechanics of how your nervous system works are two different aspects.  In the same manner, being conscious that a demon is toying with you and understanding the demon itself are two entirely separate concepts.

So how can you truly defeat an enemy that you can’t comprehend?  You can’t.  View spiritual warfare like this, you’re a person who is trying to hold back an approaching military tank by throwing tissue wads at it.  No weapons that you have will stand against demons, you can’t injure or harm them.  Unfortunately the armory is an empty closet.  This is critical that you understand this.  Why?  Because deceived Christians are lying to you when they tell you that your faith is some great weapon that demons can’t stand up against. That is such a bold-faced lie.  If your faith was so intimidating, why don’t you hear the demons in the midst of your prayer sessions trembling like they did with the Lord Jesus Christ when the demons encountered him in real life?

Why is it that the attempts to rebuke them prove to be worthless?  They laugh when you try to quote holy verses at them?  Why are they able to successfully hold you down in an ocean of dread and fear if you’re so full of faith?  Are you going to tell me that you need more faith?  Well, faith can only grow so fast.  You had as much today as you had yesterday.  Former times the rebuking appeared to work…or did it?  So if your faith has no effect on the demons, what is keeping them off of you?  It’s not what, it’s who is.  God is the One who flicks demons off of you, but God is also the main reason the demons attack you.

In our next blog we will expand on the Demons and what this affords a person as this is thrown around in Spiritual Warfare.

Understanding Spiritual Warfare: Becoming a Victor, Part 1

In this series I will explore the spectrum to help you the reader understand Spiritual Warfare and what it takes to achieve Victory.  Spiritual Warfare as defined by Wikipedia: Spiritual Warfare is the Christian version of the concept of taking a stand against supernatural evil forces. The foundation for this ideology is having a belief in evil spirits which are able to intervene in human affairs.

Various Christian groups have adopted practices to repel such forces, as based on their doctrine of Christian demonology.  A common form of spiritual warfare among Christians, is prayer in Christianity. Other practices may include exorcisms, laying-on of hands, fasting, or anointing with oil.

I will cover several aspects of Warfare that ALL of you need to understand. If you don't agree with this then you are deceived by the kingdom of evil and thus you need to do the research to see for yourself.  These are four (4) areas of that EVERY single PROFESSED Christian needs to follow, obey and learn to have true victory over the Demonic which I will cover over this 4 series blog on Spiritual Warfare.

Today we will focus on the act of REVERENCE: Reverence as defined by Webster's is deep respect for someone or something.  Reverence within a Christian is a deep respect for God which springs from a healthy fear of the awesome power God has.  Sadly many Christian's feel that God is ALL love and not to be feared and sadly this is preached in MANY churches a feel good message and thus you have been set up by Satan.

What these misled Christian's do not understand is that with one word, God could throw you into Hell for eternity.  God could transport you into the middle of the sun.  God could make a tornado appear and suck you up its funnel.  God could collapse the entire universe.  God could shut down the critical organs in your body.  God could turn the sidewalk beneath your feet into quicksand.  Are you getting the picture of what God can do?

God’s power is so very terrifying because God's power is so vast and so unstoppable.  There are no rules, none governing how God uses His power because God answers to no one, as we repeat God answers to NO ONE.  God can do anything that God wants, and while God delights in being merciful and kind, God also delights in eternally tormenting his enemies in Hell.  By the way, where did Hell come from?  Hell was created and made by God to punish enemies of God. Therefore, understand this, God thinks Hell is amazingly good.

Now I am going to lay this out even more boldly.  As the readers are you ready??  Yes, God loves throwing people (his people - both Christian's and Non-Christian's) into Hell and keeping them in a constant state of terror and agony for eternity as a just punishment for daring to defy their Creator.

Now if you have grown up in the spiritual warrior culture or have just had an epiphany within your life of the Church, then you like many others who may have been taught that Hell is Satan’s turf—that he’s (Satan) the king of that place and that demons are always flitting in and out of it.  You may have been taught that God weeps and groans over seeing souls end up in Hell.

These aspects are ludicrous lies!! Read the bible and learn it!! It is not the demons which cart souls off to Hell, it’s God who hurls souls into it with great satisfaction after they have been judged and cannot come out (read the stern warning from Jesus in John 9:39).  Hell is not demons who torture the souls in Hell its God who is doing the torturing.  This is God who loves it so much that He delights in watching his victims writhe.  Now you are saying wait, what?  God takes delights in watching his creations suffer?? Answer sadly is YES!

This is real life: we have the God who loved us so much that he sent His only begotten Son to die for us, and we have an all-powerful God who gets off on thrashing His enemies (read the stories in the bible). This is the EXACT same God from the beginning of time to today.

God contains an eddy of extreme passions: love, mercy, justice, grace, wrath, revenge—it’s all there.  Now think about this logically.  Where do you think Satan got his nastiness from?  Do you think anything exists apart from God’s will?  God created demons and God designed them to be creatures who would find great delight in doing evil if they ever turned against Him.

They did turn—demons (Fallen Angels) used to be obedient angels, but they chose to rebel. Who do you think gave them that option?  Who is it that wanted creatures with the ability to spit in His face?  God did.  Who is it that brought demons into the human realm so they could delight themselves in tormenting us?  God did.  Who is currently sustaining demons and assisting them in all their evil work?  God is.  Now you’re sitting there saying - What are you talking about - why would God do this to us?  Well, continue to read below.

When we say that God is sovereign, this means that He is in absolute control over everything in existence.  Nothing happens in God’s creation that God does not want to have happen.  When you truly get your mind around this aspect, it will radically change your view of demonic oppression.  Demons don’t oppress because God is asleep on the job, or because the demons think they are pulling a fast one over on God, or pulling the wool over the eyes of God so to speak either.  They oppress humans because God wants them to and thus allows them to do this.

You should tremble in awe of a God who is this huge, this all powerful, this complex, and this unstoppable!  Yes, you should and better be.  A proper understanding of God’s awesome power and God's absolute authority over all is what drives our faces into the dirt in pure awe of Him.

However, when we fail to understand who God is and how supremely God rules over all things, then we end up praying really inappropriate things like, “God, make that demon go away!” Should molecules be commanding the Almighty King? Should the created be telling the Creator what to do and when to do it?

No, they should not, but sadly many do!  There needs to be a proper reverence for God which drives such foolishness out of us and silences our directive tongues.  The Creator of all things does not take orders from us "molecules" and sadly we have exalted ourselves with our inability to do anything above God.  Blessings to you all and I pray that this has opened the eyes of MANY who follow this series.

I will continue with the next aspect of SUBMISSION in a blog next time.
