Paranormal DUI – PRS Hides in the Shadows

By Kirby Robinson

We sometimes have to remind our haters that the EYE ON THE PARANORMAL is not a personal blog. It makes no difference who is a contributor; this is a news, information, and personal opinion blog. Our souls aren’t owned by anyone. We don’t kowtow to any para-celeb, real or fake, or to any paranormal organization, group or show.

We report the news that we uncover. We don’t partake in cyber-bullying. Just as with any news organization, the reporter’s job is to report the news.

Back to this business…

We’ve recently uncovered some shocking information concerning misconduct by members of PRS’s management team and Ryan Buell.

If you’re a regular visitor to the PRS boards, or a long time follower of PRS, you’ll recognize the name Susan Music a/k/a Shadowtime. Ms. Music is a moderator on the PRS board. She’s also a website administrator, and over the past few years, has played a big role in the management of PRS.

What PRS has worked hard to keep from the public is the fact that Ms. Music has been arrested for DUI on two occasions: in 2009 and in May 2012. Last year’s arrest was more severe as it was a hit and run. According to the police report, Ms. Music was “visibly intoxicated” and her blood alcohol test resulted in a reading of .232, which is almost three times the legal limit.

DUI #1

DUI #2

We have to ask if such a person with two DUI charges filed against them should be allowed access to personal information and data? Should such an individual be in the role of giving advice to the public? In my personal opinion, no. But it seems that PRS tends to differ.

Here are some links that share the total cost of people who drive under the influence [statistics show if you are arrested once for DUI you’ll end up with at least five DUI’s in your lifetime].

In closing, we ask that Ms. Music step away from the paranormal field and spend some time listening to the following:

What Made Milwaukee Famous by Jerry Lee Lewis

I Like Beer by Tom T. Hall

Let it never escape anyone’s minds – people who drive while intoxicated are potential killers.

Keep on soldiering on – until next time.

"Senators, Congressmen, Educators, Doctors, Attorneys, CEOs, have had records of DUI."

AND IT IS NOT RIGHT WHEN THEY DO IT EITHER!

I could care less who you are - but if you strike my car and perhaps kill a loved one - I am expecting you to lay down you're life just as you took one!

It's not right - period!

Damn, now that is inexcusable for a woman of that age (any age) to have not 1 but 2 DUI/hit and run arrests, a social irresponsibility that is deplorable, dangerous and quite sickening to be honest. The picture being painted by the actions of PRS are going to haunt every single person ever involved (ahem CHIP COFFEY, included) I am positive (not psychic) there is so much more to come ;)

*Taking liberty to add this to the original article: I am proud of these young people taking an initiative to be responsible when it comes to how they chose to act or not act in our society today.

As much as I dislike PRS' business practices, this is uncalled for. I spent a lot of times on the forums and Ms Music was always fair and the voice of reason in an often crazy world. She isn't a part of the Field trip or webinar planning fiascos. I don't see any reason to call her out in what must be a difficult time in her life. I wish the best to Ms Music, now and always.

When involved with the public you are held to a code of ethics, a code of trust, a code of conduct. When you are in charge of events or websites interacting with others while representing a professional organization you should not be racking up offenses such as drinking driving and hit and run.

You can have pity for this woman I hope she gets the help she needs but I will be damned if I feel sorry for her, Her actions could have killed!

She is an adult and we are talking about not 1 but 2 serious offenses.

This woman is on the road to destruction of not only her life but possibly others and from what I'm reading about Ryan Buell and his crack cocaine drug habit, she is not alone.

Looks like the PRS crew just didn't know when to stop and grow up.

Hello,
Sandra, I really like your compassion, I do and like your sense of fairness. However, everything Scifake said is correct - every last word. I am an educator and trust me - my name would be in the newspaper and even though I am a public school teacher- they could let me go for the same thing she did.
Also, wrong is wrong. If she killed my loved one while in this state - I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT HER ISSUES - and they won't make a difference in a court of law!
Sandra, I have nothing against you...

Kindly,
Mariea

Another criminal "Ghost Hunter." Why is this field filled with criminals? This is a link to the news story. http://www.abc24.com/news/local/story/Mid-South-Ghost-Hunter-Charged-with-Domestic/cCHakklu70qDy1D7axJHkA.cspx#.UGTraRo-l3w.pinterest

A Mid-South "ghost hunter" is charged with Domestic Assault and Public Intoxication.

41-year-old Derek Kifer is a member of the Ghost Hunters of Southwest Tennessee.

Memphis police say on Tuesday, September 25, he charged into his estranged wife's home demanding money. She claims he slapped and grabbed her after she ran out of the house.

Officers who responded said Kifer was intoxicated.

This is not Kifer's first run-in with the law. He has three previous arrests for domestic assault.
