Issue 107 – Old Pope, New Pope …

By Kirby Robinson

…it all smells bad to me.

“The Holy Spirit will play some part in the selection process.”

The above quote came from one of the hundreds of newscasts that have been held since Pope Benedict XVI announced his resignation from the office. It was made by a priest who claims to be an expert in Vatican politics.

Politics shouldn’t play any part in the selection process. It’s part of all that smells rotten in the Vatican, and has for some time. And, in the years to come, it’s going to get worse.

That is one of the reasons I chuckle when I hear that the antichrist will come out of the Vatican or the false religion will be a new age form of Catholicism.

Why would the unholy trinity ruin a good thing? For centuries, we have gotten a false teacher from the head of the church. Due to the ever-growing and seemly never-ending child abuse charges, people have been losing faith in the validity of the spiritual path being offered by the Catholic Church. If the ordained priests, nuns, and officials of the Church, which are supposed to be God’s chosen, can’t live the spiritual path that they teach, then who can? And the priests, who are the voice for Him on this earth, become higher than a human, after they take their vows. They are just below angels under the misteaching of the Church that angels are above men. However, this isn’t the truth as angels are below men. The pope/priests have the ability to forgive sin, which is NOT true. The only person who has the ability to forgive sin is Jesus, who died on the cross. The Church claims that priests have a supernatural ability to actually change the wafer to the body of Christ, and the wine into the blood of Christ. But if such priests can’t keep to the path, who among us common sinners ever hope to live up to the path?

Not every priest or nun should be tainted by the sex scandal. Time after time it has came to light that these disgusting pedophile priests have been reported to church authorities. There were times when local church authorities tried to do something, but the Vatican blocked any action. So the complaints fell on deaf ears. To understand this, watch the HBO documentary Mea Maxima Culpa: Silence in the House of God. It does a great job of exposing the cancer that spreads throughout the church.

It allows us to see that the concept of the pope as the Vicar of Christ [his representative here on earth] is free from error, is a false teaching. Worse still, the process of his selection isn’t done by the hand of God but by something quite sinister.

I recently watched a show in which the top five or six male candidates were discussed. [By the way, women aren’t allowed to hold the position even though in the past there have been pope[s] that might have been female.]  As for the candidates, the following statements are used to describe each one of them.

1 The new Pope’s selection would make political sense.

2 The new person in the Vatican would appeal to the minorities.

3 The new Pope would be liked by the media.

4 America has an African-American president – why not go one better and put an African in the Vatican?

5 The new Pope knows how to delegate authority.

What is not said:

1 Signs and wonder follow him.

2 He has cast out demons.

3 He has healed the sick.

4 He has raised the dead.

5 Signs and wonders appeared when he was born.

What we see is politics and PR put far above spirituality.

Did Christ ever do this? NO!

When it comes time to select the Dalai Lama [the Tibetan Buddhist pope], they have a rigorous selection process. It might take years, but they seek out, and test, that special person who shows there is something outside of the physical world that intends for him [again no females] to sit in the seat of power. One would think if a man represents God on earth that such things like healing, raising the dead, casting out demons would follow him wherever he would go. [There have been some cases of this but they are rare]. These so-called men of God who will soon do the voting are also the ones who have done their best to hide the child abusers. In some cases, they’ve punished the adults who were molested as children and rewarded the pedophile priests with luxurious homes and positions of power. How can these men claim to have spiritual authority over anything?

Until they face the issue of these child abuse charges, the Catholic Church as a whole will sink into a pit of spiritual despair. The cheap out is to claim that celibacy drove the priests to do what they did. Such a statement seems logical but it isn’t.

Celibacy would have no impact in what these men find sexually arousing. Their sexual preferences would’ve been part of the personality at the time of joining the church. That’s why recidivism rates are almost 99% when it comes to pedophiles. One element that is missing is the pedophile underground that has always been active. How much of a role have they played in the church?

THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL PLAY SOME ROLE IN THE SELECTION

If we are to buy the contention that the pope is GOD’S voice on earth and he is without error, the Holy Spirit should be the only thing that determines who will be the next pope.

Let’s think about that for one moment:

1 A woman can never be His voice.

2 A non-Catholic can never be God’s voice.

3 A simple monk or priest could never be His voice, nor can a layperson.

When you see a select group pick who will be the voice of God on earth, doubts must be raised about the credibility of such a statement. I tell people if you look through the Bible of the great men and woman of God who heard Him speak--man never chooses--GOD DOES THE CHOOSING. God never goes through a conclave. If the selection of the next pope was truly from God, and not merely from a group of cardinals with their own agenda, which is different from God’s, there wouldn't be a need to vote. God would address every single cardinal and tell them to vote for such and such and it would be a unanimous decision—and it would only require one vote.

Lastly, the church is under great error on papal authority. Yes, Christ said He would build a church with Peter as the foundation, and he appointed Peter as the head of the apostles. But it stopped there. In no Biblical passage did he tell Peter he had the same power.

The Pope is just a man--nothing more. There is only one perfect man who spoke without error and His throne is not in Rome but heaven. He has no interest in politics and He certainly doesn’t side with child molesters.

The Harlem Shake Inside a Church? Dancing to Hell!

By Kirby Robinson

I’ve noticed a spike in recent cases that focus on young people. The common thing that occurs in almost all the cases was the fact that all the kids took part in dancing the Harlem Shake at their church during regular or youth services.

This is part of the trend in the church of turning their back on the cross and embracing the new age, the Jewish faith, the occult, and the demonic.

Dancing isn’t evil. But this dance takes place in church and how it is done and what it represents is opening the door to allow demons to enter. Not only for those doing it, but also allowing the demon to take up residence there. The demon will perform false works of wonders that people will say the wonders are right from God.

The dance originated in Harlem and the craze really took off after a Christian rock band called Third Day promoted it during their recent Miracle Tour.

This supposedly Christian band and the dance in a concert may not be bad but the one phrase that is repeated translates into “we are the terrorists.” Satan/Lucifer/the Devil and their demons are the terrorists to God and all things Christians should stand for. Why would they repeat that phrase and ask their audience to repeat it?

Notice at the very end of the song [and in some versions are repeated throughout the song] is a deep and loud evil cackle. The same sound I’ve heard from demons I’ve encountered over the years.

Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church Full Spreads False Teachings

1 No Second Coming

2 The Bible has errors

3 Christ was God’s “do over”

4 The Muslims and Christians share the same God/Savior

Seems they are welcoming in the god Bacchus [lesser god/demon]. If you do not know of him read more here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dionysus

Here’s the video:

- Notice the young man wearing the lizard mask and tail [demon]

- The style of dancing is very sexual

Now remember -- this is in a church.

Here’s a video of the dance with Christ hanging from the cross:

- Notice the girl to the left of cross is dressed as the one of the ungodly ones. During the dance, the man playing Jesus is spanking her as she is onstage kneeling like an animal in heat.

- The person in an animal head walks across the stage. Animal masks are common in the dark art schools.

In Jacksonville Florida at an under 30 church group. Onstage, a man wears a mask that appears alien:

What’s next? Beer and chicken wings? Slot machines? Strippers instead of pastors?

Taking part in this is a door opener to the demonic. Anyone that is in a church that allows this to take place needs to find a new church – quickly.

Any pastor that allows this in their church shows they aren’t a man/woman of God but working for the false church that serves the evil one.

Excerpt from Never Mock God: An Unauthorized Investigation into Paranormal State's "I Am Six" Case

By Kirby Robinson
Below you can read part of Chapter 3 -- Even a Bad Story Has a Beginning

"I'm a con artist in that I'm an actor. I make people believe something is real when they know perfectly well it isn't."  John Lithgow

"The greatest friend of con artists is lack of knowledge." Jane King

In the beginning there was a student at Penn State … his name was Ryan Buell, a wide-eyed journalism major who had a lifelong interest in all things paranormal due to having odd experiences as a child [which have never been identified]. As a freshman, he founded Penn State Paranormal Research Society [PSPRS]. It was a student organization that aimed to bring together fellow students who shared the same interest in the paranormal field. They participated in some investigations that garnered the team local and national news coverage. Soon they began receiving interest from TV production companies in being featured in a para-reality series. After several failed attempts, Ryan was ready to walk away from the paranormal field until he and his team got an offer for a show that eventually was called Paranormal State.  You can read Ryan's book, Paranormal State: My Journey into the Unknown, where he goes into detail about his struggles to get a show. His intense search for a TV outlet leads us to ask if this was the real reason behind PSPRS? Later, the group's name was changed to PRS as Penn State broke ties with the group due to lack of interest from the student body.

The show aired on A&E for 5 seasons from 2008-2011. The audience was told that due to such a heavy volume of cries for help, PRS only responded to the worst of cases. According to former and current PRS members, they never had loads of cases being sent to them. Yes, they received many questions about ghosts and hauntings and such, but few asked for the team to come to their home. In order to get cases for the show, they depended on producers going out and finding them. The M. family in Quincy's now infamous "I Am Six" case was a referral from Commonwealth Paranormal located in Morehead, Kentucky.

Lara M is the oldest and only daughter of Bob [James] and Barbara. She was in the final stage of her college education when she was given a severe medical diagnosis, causing her move back home. There, she claims that weird things were taking place within the home. To figure out what's going on, she does an EVP session. For those of you not in the paranormal field, an EVP is an Electrical Voice Pattern. These are picked up by any audio recording device. You ask a question, hit RECORD, and wait a few minutes. Then you ask something else … and wait. Usually you receive very short snippets of audio. The whole concept is very controversial and many wonder if you're hearing what you want to hear or are you just picking up an audio signal from someplace? Controversy also revolves around noises being faked by the investigator. According to the Christian view, the noises you get from any EVP are nothing more than a demon playing tricks on the investigator.

Lara also played with an Ouija board [PRS calls them spirit boards]. Even though Ouija boards have been around for more than a century, there is a lot of controversy surrounding them. Those with proper training will use them with caution, but those who think they're a game might end up in severe spiritual trouble. Trying to contact the dead can result in getting any wayward spirit or demon. If used by a single person, it's difficult to validate what you can encounter. Some think that even using a Ouija board opens you up to demonic activity.

People laugh at this sort of thinking and will brush it off by saying that they've used the board many times and nothing bad ever happened to them. That argument can be countered that there are those who drink and drive countless times without any type of mishap, no wrecks, no arrests, everything is cool … yet there are some who do it once and end up dead or in jail.

Playing with such a device is like taking a loaded gun and playing Russian roulette. You might do it all your life and nothing happens yet that one time you might get a demon, and, if you do and are ignorant or careless enough to invite it in, you have given it a legal spiritual right to be in your home. By doing this you have one lonely demon who wants the company of his kind. So by opening the door, it gets pushed wider and wider until there are many others that have occupied your home and, of course, your life. This type of demonic entry point is very common and well known so if one wants to plant the idea of demons in the house you bring up the subject of demons.

The M family doesn't having a background in demonology and/or the paranormal. When we get into the break down of the episode, we'll take a closer look at the M family and Lara's claims of demon activity. Initially, they try to deal with it on their own but nothing works, so they contact some paranormal groups who wish to remain nameless. They find nothing and suggest that the family might look into to some help for Lara from a therapist. [She was under the care of one.]

The family even turned to the church seeking help. The church did an investigation into the matter and found no evidence to move forward with the case.

There were no answers, until representatives from the Kentucky-based group, Commonwealth Paranormal, drove up to the M house to look into the matter.

And Then There Was Palo Mayombe…

Reverend Mark Hunnemann

I am setting aside my planned blog to address demonic possession.  In particular I want to humbly suggest that we discuss revising our paradigm or criteria for determining whether a person is diabolically possessed. I think it is important that we do so because it seems that the exception is becoming less so. High functioning demon possessed people, from my understanding of scripture, will play a prominent role in the last days. Kinda hard to be a high functioning UN official if you are spazzing out every other day at the office.

Palo Mayombe is a particularly powerful and feared form of black magick….some refer to it as the dark side of Santoria. Originating in the darkest bowels of Africa, the bloody ritualism seems to summon or unleash spells that are known for their murderous efficacy. ARM (Animal Recovery Mission), which I just joined, has very disturbing pictures verifying its defiling presence in Miami. I am currently helping a woman whose husband is a very high ranking UN official, and his family back in Senegal is deeply into Palo Mayombe. Do a search if you wish, and you will discover a whole new dimension of demonic darkness and power.  The curses can and do kill and maim—and I have felt its wrath myself the last two months…pretty unnerving.

The point is—this man is almost certainly possessed, and yet the classic criteria are not to be found. This form of the occult is very dangerous, making much of what I have seen tame in comparison, and a superficial triumphalism will likely get you hurt. Satan is a keen strategist, and his MO is apt to change as he knows his last hurrah is about to occur. Like some of you, I am confident that we are the terminal generation…those alive now.

Intense personal evil is the primary criterion that I suggest as being a sufficient cause for diagnosing demonic possession in some cases.  Do we think Satan is so foolish that he would shoot himself in the foot willingly? That is, as far as I can tell, he is not obliged to cause possessed people to act like they are possessed.  Make sense? Come to think of it, Hitler was high functioning, and I am not aware of classic signs, except for perhaps flashes of evil eyes during his damnable rants…and I think he was possessed. However, he was an intensely evil man. I suppose if you were to study serial killers, a sizable percentage would have been possessed.

There is an element of urgency in that we are in uncommon times…where Satan is very likely placing key figures (human and demonic) in strategic places. There is no sense in beating this in the ground, so I will make this a brief blog—but I trust one that will engender some thought and discussion. All glory to our tribune God!

Part 4 Conclusions Dark Matter, Dark Energy, Plasma, Other Dimensions and how they May Prove The Supernatural

By Lisa Grace

Continued from Part 3

What do flame, lightning, the sun, and space all have in common? They are all made of the most abundant state of matter in this universe, plasma. If certain creations (creatures) are made of light, could it be they are made of plasma?

Could supernatural beings (angels, demons, principalities, dominions) be made of dark energy, dark matter, plasma, or live in a different dimension? They all are possible, and none contradict what the Holy Scriptures say. There is proof for any or all of these suppositions to be correct. Since we are dealing with more than one type of creature, each could exist in a different state and/or dimension.

Ÿ  We know God and his supernatural creations exist outside of time. (Genesis, Hebrews)
Ÿ  We know his supernatural creatures were created first (according to the Bible they were present at the creation of the universe) (Genesis)
Ÿ  We know they exist outside our universe (since they were in existence before it was created.)
Ÿ  We know this means they have other natural rules they follow that supersede our natural known laws that "trap" us within our universe.
Ÿ  Trying to measure supernatural creatures by our laws of physics and nature will only lead to an incomplete view of them, since we are clearly told in the Holy Scripture they are not of this realm, and neither are believers. (We will be freed, when we are resurrected or caught up.) (Job 19:26, 2Cr 12:2, 2Cr 12;4,1TH 4:17, Rev 12:5)

Our God is an awesome God who has made this universe for us to explore and understand, yet everything points perfectly back to our Creator.

Issue 106 – Chip Coffey & Theresa Caputo – A Tale of 2 Psychics

By Kirby Robinson

The Tale of 2 So-Called Psychics: Fading Fame & Getting Cheated

Hell must have frozen over as I’m about to do what some say I would never do--come to the defense of a para-celebrity who is being cheated. No one should ever be cheated even if you’re a so-called psychic. However, I need to point out that if this person was a real psychic they should know they are being cheated and who is doing it.

[I use the term so-called psychics, as I doubt either of these people are psychic. Neither of them are prophets from a Biblical perspective.]

The Chip Coffey Fame Train Might Have Jumped the Tracks

I stumbled across this link the other day and it left me wondering:

We really have to be amazed at such level of begging by a para-celeb who claims he is so loved and is supposedly a member of the A-list in the para-celebrity realm.

Chip thinks so little of the public that he wants them to foot his bills for this spec pilot. He wants the public to cough up the sum of $17,000. If it should happen, and if the pilot is picked up, then who shares in the profits? Certainly not the public. We have to ask why has Chip not talked to those so-called spirit guides of his [demons] to discover whether the pilot would be picked up or not?

Such shows are ripe for faked evidence and faked events. Any so-called ghost tour wants to stand out over the others. The use of so-called local ghost hunters means that those local yokels want that shot of being in the next Ghost Adventures.

One of staff members said it looks like Chip has a tin cup in his hand as he stands on the corner of Fifth and Net. In honor of that, we offer this song:

Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo Riding High – But Someone Has a Hand in Her Pocket

As Chip tries to resuscitate his career by returning to local paranormal events, Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo is riding high. Shea has almost a million fans on Facebook. Her TLC network show is setting records in viewership. Her book is coming out in October, and it’s setting pre-order records on Amazon. She has a speaking tour that sells out and she doesn’t need ghost hunters to go door to door selling tickets.

Now don’t get me wrong I don’t really think she is more gifted then Chip. However, Theresa is far better at cold readings and she has a bubbly personality and can even make fun of herself.

However, with success come leeches who seek to feed off her. Two people have published eBooks using Theresa Caputo’s picture on the cover and making it look as if Ms. Caputo either took part in the preparation of the book or stands to profit from it.

[Why her legal or PR team hasn’t caught this first makes me wonder…]

And

I may not agree with the Long Island Medium, but at the same time, I hate to see people taken advantage of.

We have reached out to her representatives and have not yet heard back.

Training the Mind: Verse 2

Whenever I interact with someone,
May I view myself as the lowest amongst all,
And, from the very depths of my heart,
Respectfully hold others as superior.

The first verse pointed to the need to cultivate the thought of regarding all other sentient beings as precious. In the second verse, the point being made is that the recognition of the preciousness of other sentient beings, and the sense of caring that you develop on that basis, should not be grounded on a feeling of pity toward other sentient beings, that is, on the thought that they are inferior. Rather, what is being emphasized is a sense of caring for other sentient beings and a recognition of their preciousness based on reverence and respect, as superior beings. I would like to emphasize here how we should understand compassion in the Buddhist context. Generally speaking, in the Buddhist tradition, compassion and loving kindness are seen as two sides of same thing. Compassion is said to be the empathetic wish that aspires to see the object of compassion, the sentient being, free from suffering. Loving kindness is the aspiration that wishes happiness upon others. In this context, love and compassion should not be confused with love and compassion in the conventional sense. For example, we experience a sense of closeness toward people who are dear to us. We feel a sense of compassion and empathy for them. We also have strong love for these people, but often this love or compassion is grounded in self-referential considerations: "So-and-so is my friend," "my spouse," "my child," and so on. What happens with this kind of love or compassion, which may be strong, is that it is tinged with attachment because it involves self-referential considerations. Once there is attachment there is also the potential for anger and hatred to arise. Attachment goes hand in hand with anger and hatred. For example, if one's compassion toward someone is tinged with attachment, it can easily turn into its emotional opposite due to the slightest incident. Then instead of wishing that person to be happy, you might wish that person to be miserable.

True compassion and love in the context of training of the mind is based on the simple recognition that others, just like myself, naturally aspire to be happy and to overcome suffering, and that others, just like myself, have the natural right to fulfill that basic aspiration. The empathy you develop toward a person based on recognition of this basic fact is universal compassion. There is no element of prejudice, no element of discrimination. This compassion is able to be extended to all sentient beings, so long as they are capable of experiencing pain and happiness. Thus, the essential feature of true compassion is that it is universal and not discriminatory. As such, training the mind in cultivating compassion in the Buddhist tradition first involves cultivating a thought of even-mindedness, or equanimity, toward all sentient beings. For example, you may reflect upon the fact that such-and-such a person may be your friend, your relative, and so forth in this life, but that this person may have been, from a Buddhist point of view, your worst enemy in a past life. Similarly, you apply the same sort of reasoning to someone you consider an enemy: although this person may be negative toward you and is your enemy in this life, he or she could have been your best friend in a past life, or could have been related to you, and so on. By reflecting upon the fluctuating nature of one's relationships with others and also on the potential that exists in all sentient beings to be friends and enemies, you develop this even-mindedness or equanimity.

The practice of developing or cultivating equanimity involves a form of detachment, but it is important to understand what detachment means. Sometimes when people hear about the Buddhist practice of detachment, they think that Buddhism is advocating indifference toward all things, but that is not the case. First, cultivating detachment, one could say, takes the sting out of discriminatory emotions toward others that are based on considerations of distance or closeness. You lay the groundwork on which you can cultivate genuine compassion extending to all other sentient beings. The Buddhist teaching on detachment does not imply developing an attitude of disengagement from or indifference to the world or life.

Moving on to another line of the verse, I think it is important to understand the expression "May I see myself lower than all others" in the right context. Certainly it is not saying that you should engage in thoughts that would lead to lower self-esteem, or that you should lose all sense of hope and feel dejected, thinking, "I'm the lowest of all. I have no capacity, I cannot do anything and have no power." This is not the kind of consideration of lowness that is being referred to here. The regarding of oneself as lower than others really has to be understood in relative terms. Generally speaking, human beings are superior to animals. We are equipped with the ability to judge between right and wrong and to think in terms of the future and so on. However, one could also argue that in other respects human beings are inferior to animals. For example, animals may not have the ability to judge between right and wrong in a moral sense, and they might not have the ability to see the long-term consequences of their actions, but within the animal realm there is at least a certain sense of order. If you look at the African savannah, for example, predators prey on other animals only out of necessity when they are hungry. When they are not hungry, you can see them coexisting quite peacefully. But we human beings, despite our ability to judge between right and wrong, sometimes act out of pure greed. Sometimes we engage in actions purely out of indulgence--we kill out of a sense of "sport," say, when we go hunting or fishing. So, in a sense, one could argue that human beings have proven to be inferior to animals. It is in such relativistic terms that we can regard ourselves as lower than others. One of the reasons for using the word "lower" is to emphasize that normally when we give in to ordinary emotions of anger, hatred, strong attachment, and greed, we do so without any sense of restraint. Often we are totally oblivious to the impact our behavior has on other sentient beings. But by deliberately cultivating the thought of regarding others as superior and worthy of your reverence, you provide yourself with a restraining factor. Then, when emotions arise, they will not be so powerful as to cause you to disregard the impact of your actions upon other sentient beings. It is on these grounds that recognition of others as superior to yourself is suggested.

From the DalaiLama.com website. Next week Verse 3.
