Special Report ~ Goodbye Anonymous & Michelle "Babs" Griffin Tries Rewriting History

By Kirby Robinson

We'd hoped to share some great news with you today, but as yet not all the I's are dotted or the T's crossed. Until everything is signed we must keep silent but we have a few other announcements.

Goodbye Anonymous

Just who is Anonymous? They are the folks who love to sit in dark places and post nasty things about me and my bloggers. They are often the fakers that we expose or they are the haters that follow the fakers. These followers can't defend the fake para-celebrities with facts so they engage in lies and distortions of the truth because they have nothing else to fire back at us. They are also the people who have no guts or courage in their convictions. They are the same folks who want only one "unified" voice heard in the paranormal.

As of the today, they are no longer welcome here. Either make a comment under a name or don't bother. This is a blog for grownups that have the ability to think and reason, for those who seek to shed light on issues that people need to know about. If you're still a child who isn't able to think or reason for yourself, your comments just reflect your spiritual immaturity. So, for those fake para-celebrities and/or their blind following zombies, don't let the door hit your backside as you leave us.

Michelle “Babs” Griffin Tries Rewriting History

It seems that Babs is up to her tiresome old tricks once again. She has made an effort to scour the web and have each and every copy of the video of that para-celebrity guest on her TV show making fun of me because my eyesight is failing. We've even been told that she claims it never happened – my supporters and I are making it up. Well, Babs, it did happen and as you try to have it removed, know that we have copies of that video. But, the truth has never been her strong suit.

Psychics Exposed

The series we launched last week will be something we'll stick with for some time. We feel a need more than ever to uncover the lies most psychics and psychic-mediums don't want you to know.

We'll cover such topics as: What is this psychic gift they claim to have? Why can't they give people winning lottery numbers? What does it say in the Bible about these so-called psychics? How can you become a channeler and rip people off? And who really started all this? [Hint: it goes back to the Garden of Eden and the streets of Babylon].

If you have any questions or topics you'd like to see covered in the weeks ahead, please feel free to reach out and ask and we'll cover them. One topic we'll address is why it's okay for a pastor/minister to get paid and not a psychic? And at some point we'll deal with the psychic flavor of the month: The Long Island Medium. Now that one will be a blast!

BUT AGAINST PRINCIPALITIES, AGAINST POWERS

By Pastor Michael Frisbee, The Paranormal Christian

DEMONOLOGIST.  The word conjures up all kinds of dark images and misunderstood themes.  The fact it starts out with the word DEMON seems to bring that foreboding due to a couple millennia of humanity’s mythology and subconscious training to fear them.

I have been a practicing Demonologist for twenty-two years now.  I started almost seven years to the day after I was delivered up from black witchcraft and gave myself to Christ.  In those seven years, I battled my former coven, defending myself from their spiritual attacks and attempts to curse me, as well as, an occasional conjured demon to do their work.  I was introduced to spiritual warfare, demonic exorcism, and began to study religious texts of different cultures to know the mannerisms, methods of infestation and possession, and the tools to fight them.

I also learned that not everything we experience is a demon, and found a place within paranormal research and investigations to discern and discover the truth.  One of my key working phrases I use for investigations is “Eliminate the Normal, Everything Else is Paranormal”.  People can be misled, confused, even self-deceived about what they experience, which I think the proliferation of “haunts” recently is due to the popularity of dozens of paranormal investigation shows such as “Ghost Hunters”, “Ghost Adventures”, “Ghost Lab” and things like “Celebrity Ghost Stories”.  This is why it is critical we go into a house more skeptic and doubter, seeking out natural and normal causes for what people are experiencing.  Once all that is stripped away – that’s what we seek to document to show proof of the paranormal.  Over the past twenty-two years I have been demonologist, spiritual warrior, paranormal researcher and investigator, spiritual counselor, and pastor.  However, first and foremost – I am a servant of God and in that – a demonologist.

There are no “true” schools of higher learning to become a demonologist.  Demonology is a study of demons.  Only the Vatican has a program of training for their priests regarding demons and exorcism, but that is not open to non-Catholics or non-believers.  I’m going to make a lot of people mad out there, but I have experience and truth on my side in this – you do not need to be “certified” or “licensed” to be a demonologist.  People claiming to be running schools in it to certify you are scamming you.  They are in it for the profit.

Being a Demonologist is not a calling.  It is a field of study and people get it confused with being an Exorcist.  However taking it to the next step and being a deliverance minister is a calling from God, our Heavenly Father, one that is usually accompanied by the gift of Discernment anointed upon you by the Holy Spirit.  A deliverance minister cannot be an atheist, a Gnostic, a wiccan, or anything else but a born-again believer and Christian, one who has accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.  We as human beings are flawed and weak, fractured creatures whose wills can be easily bent by the demonic.  Earth is THEIR domain, given that authority by God.  Lucifer caused a third of the Angels to war against God and Heaven.  The Archangel Michael, the only equal to Lucifer, led the Heavenly forces and defeated Lucifer.  He was cast from Heaven and given domain and authority on earth.

However, when Christ gave fulfillment of the Law, was crucified as the Prophets foretold, died and after three days, rose again renewed and resurrected, He defeated once again Satan, freeing us of the blood sin, by washing our sin with His blood.  In his glory and conquering of Satan, He now had Authority over Satan.  We as humans and followers of Christ, can call upon Christ’s authority to cast out and command demons who interfere with our work and path here, especially when it interferes with God’s Will for us.  Only be calling upon the Authority of Christ and the anointing with His Blood, can we do this work.  So – how can someone who does not believe in God, Satan, Angels, or Demons – rightfully and believably fight demons where they infest and possess?  They cannot.

A demonologist must spend his/her time cataloging and studying demons, studying, comprehending, and referencing religious texts and their references of the demonic, study demonic mythology of various cultures.  One part of the gift of discernment is to be able to identify true demonic presence and signs.  Regardless of Hollywood – you DO NOT need to know the name of the demon present, it DOES NOT give you any additional power over it – you have none – only Christ does.  You also need to be able to discern false doctrines and references as well.  I’m going to anger a bunch more people here.  The Book of Enoch and the Lower Keys of Solomon are not true and accurate books of demonology.  The Book of Enoch is a hoax, a forgery, it was not used in the time of Aaron, it did not predate any Catholic Bible.  It is an occult deceit and forgery to lead those fighting demons along a false trail.  The same is true of the Lower Keys of Solomon, it was devised from a 18th Century French Grimoire that listed 69 demons and assigned European titles to them.  These titles did not exist in King Solomon’s time.  The Lower Keys added 3 more demons to the list.  Allegedly, the book claims Solomon was a great wizard and used demons to do his bidding.  It is an attempt by the Occult to strip Christians and confuse them of the truth, that King Solomon was a great servant of the Lord, wise, but flawed.  He still did great works, and created the Songs of Solomon.

However knowledge will only get you so far.  You must engage and help people afflicted by a demonic infestation or possession.  You don’t do it for accolades or glory.  You do it to help heal, to bring peace of mind, and help people back on the right path, all for the glory of God.

If you would like help, I can consult with you and your group.  I do so free of charge.  I am currently based out of the Atlanta, Georgia area.  I am offering my services and experience to all paranormal groups, so that the Truth can be found out there, and these groups can be protected.  I do not charge for this.  I can be reached through my website at http://www.ArchangelParanormal.com.

I am also seeking fellow Christians that are involved in the paranormal investigative field, with emphasis in deliverance.  I launched the Spiritual Warriors Network a few months ago, and it is a growing network of born again Christians that serve as deliverance clergy, demonologists, prayer warriors, and investigative teams.  Our goal is to help spread God’s Truth and assist fellow Christians oppressed by the demonic who have been turned away by their local churches and clergy.  If you are interested in joining our team, go to http://www.spiritualwarriorsnetwork.org and click “Apply” after reading the Statement of Faith.

Saturday, March 24th at 7 pm, Rev Mark and I will be presenting The Paranormal Christian, “The Evil & The Righteous – REDUX”.  This week we are revisiting a topic we did while at Blog Talk Radio, and with our new start at BTVN TV we felt we should cover it again.  It is an essential part of our ministry, distinguishing the Enemy and their deceptions, while laying out the legitimacy of the Bible, the importance of Christ's ministry, and it application today.

In the first hour, we will discuss Demons; where do they come from, why are they here, how do they operate, etc.  We will discuss various false teachings and doctrines that allow the demonic to gain power and deceive  both believer's and non-believers.

In the second hour, we will focus on the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, his work against Demons, his warnings and instructions regarding demons, and his teachings of how to combat them, the core of Christian Demonology. We will also cover the Inerrancy of God's Word.

Then we will wrap up with how the Authority of Jesus Christ, when wielded by a believer and disciple of Christ, can defeat a demonic presence, and show how attempts to do so by a non believer can lead to ruin.

You can join us by going to http://www.theparanormalchristian.com and click on the link to the show.

Keep current and follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/eyeonparanormal

The following blog is not meant to group everyone with spiritual gifts as fakes or frauds. There are good ones and bad ones out there, but we ask the public to use caution when dealing with anyone claiming to have spiritual gifts.

The disclaimer discussed in this blog did not come from any particular psychic but from several psychics' websites. We took the language of their disclaimer and merged it with others.

BREAKING NEWS ~ PSYCHICS TALK FOR GOD!

Yes folks, according to the many psychic supporters, you can forget prayer. You can get up off your knees, get out your credit card/s, and pay 'em because they can tell you better than anyone what God is saying!

Not long ago I noticed on my Facebook newsfeed a comment from one of my friends that they were going to treat themselves to a yearly visit to their local psychic. I posted a comment that why not save their money and just talk to God? He never charges and it won't be for entertainment purposes only. A few weeks later, she posted a response to my comment basically saying that psychics are great in interpreting what God was telling you. When I read things like that it really makes me go WTF?

When did the psychics insert themselves between us and God? When did God become dependent on psychics to tell us things? Yes, there were dream interpreters and prophets within the Bible but they didn't have business cards. They didn't do phone readings. They didn't post the disclaimer: FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY. And if they weren't 100% accurate, they got stoned to death.

When you talk to God there is no charge!

He doesn't ask anything of us when we speak to him. God is there 24/7/365 – and that includes Leap Years! He'd like us to have a personal relationship with his Son, but that's not required. We have free will, you know.

When we talk to psychics there is always a charge.

This is an odd issue to me. Often psychics will compare themselves to prophets in the Bible and claim they have the same gift. Yet in no chapter or verse within the Bible do we ever find a prophet charging for their services. Psychics claim:  "This is how I earn a living." Again, the prophets of the Bible didn't charge any money but God took care of them. If psychics have faith in GOD and their gift is from God, He will take care of them.

Often the next fallback is for those psychics to mention that doctors have the gift of healing and they are paid. That's mixing apples with oranges. Doctors may have been guided into medicine by God. He might help oversee their decisions and care given to a patient, but the patient isn't healed by the doctor in the mysterious way God heals someone through prayer and the laying of hands.

When you talk to God he is 100% accurate 100% of the time.

When you talk to a psychic -- they can go from being 0% right on up.

When you talk to God …

There is no topic off the table. If you need healing it's there. If you need guidance on a job, a purchase, whether to get pregnant, etc., He will give you advice and help any way He can. And it's not for entertainment purposes only. God says what He means and stands behind it.

When you talk to a psychic …

There are all kinds of disclaimers and limitations. There's no guarantee whatsoever.

Let's take a look at the legal disclaimer that psychics post. Again, this is not from any particular psychic, but we took a look at many different psychics' websites.

For entertainment purposes only.

How odd that a claim is made that they have a gift, yet they have no faith in that gift. So with that statement they claim they are only an actor playing a role. You pay them to play a psychic. Which means their reading is nothing more than a sham. Why? Because it's only entertainment. What would happen if you went to a church that practiced the spiritual gifts of healing, prophecy, etc., and the pastor started his sermon by saying: "THIS IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY!" Would you stay there?

Psychics claim:

That no psychic [note they say no psychic] can predict, forecast or diagnose with absolute certainty.

That's always troubling to me. It's their escape clause. I just can't say I'll be right. Would you take a job if the boss said, "I'm not sure if you'll be paid." Would you go to a doctor who said, "My advice might be way off." Would you trust an instructor who informed you at the start of the class, "Sorry, the money you just paid for the class might be wasted! I'm not sure what I'm saying is right or not, my interpretation might be way off."

It's odd that psychics claim legitimacy via the Bible and the dream interpreters and prophets, yet they say they can't be as good as them. Yet the men mentioned in the Bible like Daniel and Ezekiel have hit things on the head 100% of the time.

Psychics will say

They can't be held responsible for actions and decisions made by the client as a result of the reading.

What that means is that they can make things up and tell you what you want to hear. They won't be held liable for anything they tell you. So if they tell you that job will work out, that the business will succeed, that that boyfriend of yours is cheating on you, it doesn't matter if it's true. You act on it. The job sucks, the business fails, and the boyfriend isn't cheating. You take that advice depending on these psychics and boy do you pay the price.

But there is another problem. What if that man or woman was your Mr./Ms. Right and you backed away from them? What if that job or business was the career for you and you backed away from it? Who pays the price? You do. And your relationship with God does. [They say their gift is from God. If they're wrong, then God is wrong. So the trust in God is destroyed]. And the psychic doesn't care—they're just sipping margaritas on the beach.

Psychics say …

For medical or legal matters they won't talk about those topics as you need to see a medical or legal professional.

Again, they claim their gift is from God. [Next week we'll take a closer look at where that gift might be from]. Yet they have no faith in it. If they did, they could/would help people in any matter. Say what you want about Edgar Cayce, but did he ever turn someone away that came to him for medical advice?

See, I believe in the spiritual gifts. You won't find a person who believes in them more. And what I believe on top of that is that there are so many fakers, so many actors, and so many wannabes. The final and last difference between talking to God and talking to a psychic is this: He loves you yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Most psychics' love lasts until your minutes are done or you card is maxed out. And they move on to their next victim…I mean client.

NEXT WEEK: MORE TO SAY ABOUT THIS TOPIC.

The Medicine of Altruism

By The Dalai Lama
In Tibet we say that many illnesses can be cured by the one medicine of love and compassion. These qualities are the ultimate source of human happiness, and need for them lies at the very core of our being. Unfortunately, love and compassion have been omitted from too many spheres of social interaction for too long. Usually confined to family and home, their practice in public life is considered impractical, even naive. This is tragic. In my view point, the practice of compassion is not just a symptom of unrealistic idealism but the most effective way to pursue the best interest of others as well as our own. The more we- as a nation, a group or as individuals - depend upon others, the more it is in our own best interests to ensure their well-being.

Practicing altruism is the real source of compromise and cooperation; merely recognizing our need for harmony is not enough. A mind committed to compassion is like an overflowing reservoir - a constant source of energy, determination and kindness. This is like a seed; when cultivated, gives rise to many other good qualities, such as forgiveness, tolerance, inner strength and the confidence to overcome fear and insecurity. The compassionate mind is like an elixir; it is capable of transforming bad situation into beneficial ones. Therefore, we should not limit our expressions of love and compassion to our family and friends. Nor is the compassion only the responsibility of clergy, health care and social workers. It is the necessary business of every part of the human community.

Whether a conflict lies in the field of politics, business or religion, an altruistic approach is frequently the sole means of resolving it. Sometimes the very concepts we use to meditate a dispute are themselves the cause of the problem. At such times, when a resolution seems impossible, both sides should recall the basic human nature that unites them. This will help break the impasse and, in the long run, make it easier for everyone to attain their goal. Although neither side may be fully satisfied, if both make concessions, at the very least, the danger of further conflict will be averted. We all know that this form of compromise is the most effective way of solving problems - why, then, do we not use it more often?

When I consider the lack of cooperation in human society, I can only conclude that it stems from ignorance of our interdependent nature. I am often moved by the example of small insects, such as bees. The laws of nature dictate that bees work together in order to survive. As a result, they possess an instinctive sense of social responsibility. They have no constitution, laws, police, religion or moral training, but because of their nature they labour faithfully together. Occasionally they may fight, but in general the whole colony survives on the basis of cooperation. Human beings, on the other hand, have constitutions, vast legal systems and police forces; we have religion, remarkable intelligence and a heart with great capacity to love. But despite our many extraordinary qualities, in actual practice we lag behind those small insects; in some ways, I feel we are poorer than the bees.

For instance, millions of people live together in large cities all over the world, but despite this proximity, many are lonely. Some do not have even one human being with whom to share their deepest feelings, and live in a state of perpetual agitation. This is very sad. We are not solitary animals that associate only in order to mate. If we were, why would we build large cities and towns? But even though we are social animals compelled to live together, unfortunately, we lack sense of responsibility towards our fellow humans. Does the fault lies in our social architecture -the basic structures of family and community that support our society? Is it our own external facilities - our machines, science and technology? I do not think so.

I believe that despite the rapid advances made by civilization in this century, the most immediate cause of our present dilemma is our undue emphasis on material development alone. We have become so engrossed in its pursuit that, without even knowing it, we have neglected to foster the most basic human needs of love, kindness, cooperation and caring. If we do not know someone or find another reason for not feeling connected with a particular individual or group, we simply ignore them. But the development of human society is based entirely on people helping each other. Once we have lost the essential humanity that is our foundation, what is the point of pursuing only material improvement.

To me, it is clear: a genuine sense of responsibility can result only if we develop compassion. Only a spontaneous feeling of empathy for others can really motivate us to act on their behalf.

An Incident That Shows Dire Need for Reformation

By Rev. Mark Hunnemann

"Don't re-enact Platoon scenes with Charlie Sheen!" hehe Yes, same TV ad....
I have never stated my desire and mission for this newsletter in any systematic fashion; I'd like to  do that now. Something happened tonight to re-inforce my passion. Let me explain that, and then get on with my vision.

Since I have a calling to bring Christ into the paranormal, I have to stay current. To that end, I watched GHI (Ghost Hunters International) tonight--I always pray beforehand. Barry Fitzgerald, who normally is fairly level headed, blew it horribly in tonight's show, which was located in Belize..As the current Lead Investigator for GHI, Barry made an unbelievable decision while investigating some ancient Mayan ruins, which dated 1,000 BC. The client, Pedro, wanted them to discover whether the spirits were attached to just the place or were they attaching to him as well. Pedro, who obviously was obsessed with the place, (which was never addressed...not in reveal anyway) told the group that blood rituals had taken place there, and that he had re-enacted these blood rituals using his own blood, in order to draw the spirits out. (anybody feeling a bit uncomfortable yet.....)

"So, Pedro, would you be willing to re-enact this blood ritual for us tonight..." Barry asked the client. "Sure!!", was the ecstatic reply. Barry asked for volunteers, and Susan eagerly agreed. An interesting side-note..Kris expressed, more than once, her concern that it was going too far. THAT, should have knocked some sense into the Irishman, but it didn't. In the "sacred" place, Susan unwittingly let her life-blood be offered up to demons...as it trickled into the basin. "I sacrificed a bit of me to you tonight...and opened myself to you...so, show yourself." she implored during an EVP session. I wept in my spirit, as she opened a door never meant to be touched by human hands, and that she has no clue as to the coming darkness. You don't do that without suffering serious consequences; especially since it involved human blood...hers. Pray for her..

In an attempt to accellerate or optimize conditions for the alleged Mayan spirits to interact with them, a serious line was crossed. They practiced an occultic blood-letting ritual. This darkness was witnessed as entertainment by millions; for an untold number it was the  sanctioning of doing whatever needs to be done to maximize "profits". Of course, the GA (Ghost Adventure) crew has crossed this ritualistic line long ago.We have seen that EVP sessions themselves are portal openers; ritualistic occultism is a defiant shaking of the fist at God. With no objective standard as found in the bible, who in the paranormal community is prepared to say enough is enough...

Enough is enough! Let us say it together, "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!" It is this sadly surprising display of lack of discernment by Barry Fitzgerald that I am using as a foil for proclaiming my vision for change in the paranormal community; both in belief and methodology.Martin Luther nailed his 95 thesis on the door of the
church in Wittenburg-it was like a community bulletin board-and that was the catalyst of the great Protestant Reformation. The essence of this movement was a re-discovery of the gospel of justification by faith alone. My vision is for a reformation in the field of demonology and the paranormal/supernatural. The following are my ten thesis; they are the purpose behind these newsletters.

1.That the bible be acknowledged as the primary standard by which we identify the  paranormal. (Prov.1:7) Any assumption that diminishes the singular honor and dignity of our Lord Jesus, or detracts in any way from the perfection and finished nature of the atonement, be jettisoned.

2.That the currently unquestioned assumption of ghosts be rejected as repugnant to scripture (Dt.18)

3.That the notion of residual haunts is repugnant to reason and scripture.

4.That there are only two residents of the supernatural realm: good angels and fallen angels (demons).
\\
5.That verbal solicitation of EVP's is manifestly anti-biblical (Dt.18), and opens one to demonic influence.

6.That the primary purpose of an investigation is to determine the presence of the demonic and assist the clients in getting rid of them if present; empower clients.

7.That we raise up an army of trained clergy and lay folks who can work together to help those assaulted by demonic activity.

8.That pastors awaken to the reality of this demonic juggernaut and that they equip their sheep.

9.That the paranormal be called the supernatural realm

10.That in light of the present spiritual warfare, we cry out to God for reformation and revival from the Holy Spirit.

This list is open to future revision. You may not agree with portions of it, but the purpose is to show where the author is coming from. I realize that much of this rests upon the conversion of the majority in the paranormal community. That is why we must be willing to take small victories;.finding common ground, build relationships, and so on to make incremental progress...unless and until the Holy Spirit comes in revival fire. Have mercy on us Lord, and pour out lavishly the Holy Spirit. Soli deo gloria!

The Paranormal Christian - The Psychology Of Atheism And False Religion

By Reverend Mark Hunnemann

My regular job has overshadowed my ministry work this week with the advent of several travel promotions in the works at my company.  This of course took away any time that I had to write my blog.  However, my co-host on The Paranormal Christian, Reverend Mark Hunnemann, wrote an interesting article that I wanted to share with you and he  has given me permission to do so.

Please join us tomorrow, Saturday March 17, at 7 pm EST for our show. Also, we have been invited to move our show from BlogTalkRadio.com to BTVN TV.  We will soon announce the official switch over date later, but we believe this move will allow us to expand our reach to help more people.

Pastor Michael Frisbee

Enjoy the following article, written by Reverend Mark Hunnemann.

If Christianity is true, then why are there all these other religions -or atheism- in the world.  Why all these different views of who Jesus is?  What I want to explore with you is a little different in focus than most of my newsletters; but it will have a bearing on why there is such a widespread misunderstanding of the paranormal realm. Why are there other religions?  Are they man's earnest search for God?  Is God happy with all these world religions?  What we see in scripture may surprise or even shock you. Our main text will be the first chapter of Romans, starting a v. 18.

But God's wrath is being revealed from heaven against all the ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who are suppressing the truth their unrighteousness. They know the truth about God because He has made it obvious to them. For ever since the creation of the world, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see His invisible attributes--His eternal power and divine nature, so they are argumentless.  Although they knew God, they refused to worship Him or give thanks. They began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. Hence, their hearts became dark and confused. Claiming to be wise, instead they became fools.  Instead of worshipping the true, glorious God, they worshipped idols made to look like man and birds and animals and reptiles.  So God abandoned them to do whatever their shameful hearts desired.  and did unclean and dishonorable things to each other’s bodies.  They exchanged the truth of God for a lie. So they worshipped and served the created things instead of the Creator, who is worthy of eternal praise. Amen!
(Romans 1:18-25, my translation)

We have this notion that folks just innocently come up with new ideas about God or the paranormal, and it’s just part of being human. Even more, religion is viewed as a noble thing where Buddha or Muhammed or (fill in the blank) are seen as creative thinkers who are earnestly seeking God for themselves and their people. Just today on Facebook, Pastor Mike and I were engaged in a conversation with a couple of folks who were arguing that all religions were the same and that the Bible can be interpreted in many ways.  The paranormal claim has become an informal religion for millions; or it at least provides a foundation for a view of the after-life.

In v. 18 we see that God is currently (present participle) pouring His wrath out on folks. Why?  We see in subsequent verses that there is a sense in which every person knows God or has knowledge of Him; knowledge of his existence, glory and holiness..not just His burning moral purity, but His "Otherness" or "God-ness". (when you add the traits mentioned, it can be summed up in one word "holy") And this knowledge of His existence and character is said to be "obvious".  Many people have the fear of the different or unknown; this is infinite differentness. This is NOT saving knowledge of God, it is a creatures knowledge about God. We know He exists, that He is gloriously creative and that He is holy.  What do people do with this knowledge?  Do they treasure it?  Do they turn around and worship this Holy God?

v.18 They suppress (katekownten, to push down--like pushing down a spring and holding it down) this knowledge about God.  You are probably familiar with this term (suppress) in regards to psychology. If someone has a traumatic experience as a child, they suppress that memory - they push it down beneath conscious level. Everyone is exposed to this knowledge of a holy God, which is traumatizing to them due to their sinful condition. Folks the world over are traumatized by this universal knowledge and, like a spring, they push it down and keep it down.  Are people sent to hell for not accepting a Jesus they never heard of?  No, they are hell-bound because all of us have rejected the Father. Those who have heard of Jesus are in double jeopardy.

In Mark 6:45-52 is the famous "ghost text", which was appealed to in the Facebook discussion I mentioned earlier as proof that Jesus believed in ghosts, because He did not rebuke the disciples thinking He was a ghost. Actually, the Holy Spirit's intent of this passage is quite the opposite, as seen in v. 52 - which acts like a self-summarizing observation on all that had proceeded. Everything they said and did was done as an expression of unbelieving and fearful hearts. (phantasm in that context means superstious imagination) It is 3 am, and likely a Satanically caused sudden storm threatens to overwhelm the boat the disciples were in. Jesus comes walking out on the water (which is when they lost their marbles and thought their very much alive Master was a ghost), calms them down, and then when He steps in the boat, the storm immediately ceases and becomes placid. We know that before they had been frightened, but notice their emotional reaction to this extraordinary display of His "Otherness", in vv.51 they were terrified! They experienced what Rudolph Otto referred to as the mysterium tremendum.  You would have thought that they would have sighed a big collective sigh of relief. Instead, they were more frightened of Him, and what He had done, than of a violent storm which they thought was going to possibly drown them.  In Isaiah 6, the prophet, probably the most righteous man of his day, collapsed as though dead, during his close encounter with the Holy One of Israel. He curses himself - he is severely traumatized by the mysterium tremendm (but we know that God tenderly restores him moments later) Again, during the storm, the disciples we frightened; after Jesus’ miracle which displayed His "Otherness", His deity, they were very frightened. Traumatized...

Freud postulated that the God hypothesis was invented by man in order to soothe our fears in the face of nature which could get violent and frightening. The only problem with this theory is that the biblical God is much more frightening than nature itself!  Witness the disciples reaction to Jesus display of His "otherness", witness what Romans 1:18 says happens constantly. It is not psychologically plausible that man would create something so awesome as the God of the Bible in order to deal with a lesser fear of nature.  So, mankind is traumatized by this deep awareness of God's holiness.  And this knowledge is so apparent, they are left argumentless; they have no acceptable excuse (v 20) Their defense strategy is first to suppress that knowledge of the one, true God.

But the wickedness doesn't end with suppressing of this universal, clear-as-day knowledge of God's righteous character. Before I move on, this is where depth psychology is interesting and enlightening in some ways.  Our minds are amazingly deep, or we could call it our heart as well--using biblical categories; the heart often refers to the essence of the person. In v21 we see the next stage, sinful and diabolical darkness and confusion descends upon a mind which is actively suppressing the truth. It is quite frightening to look at the biblical view of an unregenerate man's mind. Because the truth is being forcefully pressed down and resisted, this opens a person to spiritually delusional thinking. Perhaps you have wondered how an intelligent neighbor could believe something so bizarre as Mormonism. The noetic effects of sin (nous..mind) combined with a demonic heyday with your thinking; it can have the effect of leaving a maggot in your mind.

Just as nature abhors a vacuum, so the heart HAS to serve somebody.  The spiritual vacuum in the suppressed heart won't stay a vacuum for longer than a nano-second. So, an unholy imagination begins thinking of how to creatively fill that void. We are homo religiosis - incurably religious. Since we are made in God's image we long for spiritual reality. But without the Holy Spirit, we will never, on our own, choose the holy Son of  God. As the text says we begin the process of building a god in our own image.  And we are expert and prolific idol makers.  John Calvin said that humans were "Idol factories." That is precisely the point of this text.

In v 23-25 we are told that the next stage in this descent from the truth, is an exchange; psychologically, mentally, and spiritually...the truth of God is exchanged for a lie. Specifically, the truth (the creator God) is exchanged for the lie (the creation).Paul has just explained the psychological/spiritual process behind the creation of religion. "There are only two religions in the world." the Lord is telling us through Paul. There is the true religion of worshipping the Creator God of the bible, and there is the lie of worshipping the creation. There is no tertium quid or middle ground; you are either one or the other. We all deal with idols; things we put before the Lord and have to continually repent of. But either the basic bent of our hearts is to the Creator or to His creation. This is not an easy message to believe or share with others because it cuts against the relativistic grain of our culture.  How do you respond to this?  Do you grasp the fact that we are being called to make a choice? To not make a choice is a de facto choice for worshiping the lie.  We are either on the Lord's side or we are on Satan's side.  So, we can see that Satan is pleased with what the Lord is angry at - the multitudes of religions, because any religion other than biblical Christianity (and I mean BIBLICAL) Christianity, is on Satan's side.

This text refers to birds and reptiles as examples of this truth exchange which results in idolatry.  But that is probably not the form that is tempting you. Any part of God's creation which becomes our dominant life value is a lie we are worshipping.  Family, children, sports, work, investigating the supernatural, and so on are very good things, BUT if they become our dominant life value, then they have become a truth exchange. A dominant life value is really self-defining. What is the first thing you tend to think about in the morning, during the day, or the last thing you think about a night?  What propels you through life?  What opens your wallet?  What do you talk about the most; thus revealing your heart orientation?  Is the paranormal or the study of it your dominant life value?  From the large corpus of EVP we now have, does it reveal creatures who are worshipping the Creator or the creation?  Have you heard an EVP which states that Jesus is to be forever praised?  On a lesser scale, are there any views on the paranormal that you might be suppressing due to traumatic ramifications and exchanging with a lie?  "Iron sharpens iron" is the spirit in which that is meant. Now that you know that God is not pleased with religion, are you seeking opportunities to share the gospel?

While this newsletter may not have been a typical paranormal analysis, it does shed light on who God is, and give us some insight in how and why it may be difficult for some people to change their views.  Finally, with a God like this, do you really think He would be pleased at being left out of the study and discussion of part of His creation?  God hates religion, but He has a heart for the lost.  Do we?

Science Is Proving The Supernatural Exists

By Lisa Grace

Back in late nineteen ninety, I read a book called What to Say When You Talk To Your Self by Shad Helmstetter Ph. D. In the book he talks about how the mind has no emotions, and like a computer it can be programmed. By speaking out loud what you expect, you can bring it about. Your mind believes you.

If you have read any of my posts you know I believe in the supernatural from the Biblical/Holy Scriptural point of view. What impressed me about Shad’s take on things is how they parallel some concepts found in the Bible.

Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. (NIV)
Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so [is] he (KJV)

You are what you think you are. Renewing your thoughts to become a better you is Biblical.

Science has proven thoughts are energy. They can be tracked, mapped, and interpreted. Brain thoughts with properly placed electrodes can manipulate prosthetics.
If God is intelligent energy that can take any form He pleases; and He spoke (which requires thought) the universe into being, we are already getting a glimpse of how this is done.

With the right physical equipment, we can move objects with our thoughts. Wait until we figure out how to Wi Fi our thoughts. It’s coming soon. Then will people think God speaking the universe into being is so impossible after all?

Science is proving the universe started from nothing. Some call it the Big Bang. And others say “God spoke” (Genesis).

Science is proving there are fields or dimensions beyond what we can detect. Quote: The hunt for the Higgs boson is significant because it would show the existence of an invisible field thought to permeate the entire universe. (Some call this God glue.) http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/03/07/us-physics-higgs-idUSTRE8260HL20120307
They’ve all ready recreated these particles in the lab. They know they exist.

Science has discovered how to teleport energy. http://www.technologyreview.com/blog/arxiv/24759

We know thoughts are energy and we know angels are intelligent beings of light. WE know angels and other supernatural creatures teleport.

Science has proven physical objects can be rendered invisible.

Since Google has become quite useless as a search engine, I couldn’t find the link to a previous article where scientists having been shooting photons (or protons I can’t remember which) through solid physical objects rendering them invisible. They’ve even done it on a hand.

Is it really that much of a stretch that creatures exist made from a form of energy that can seem/be solid, yet not be detected if made of light/energy?

All these different scientific disciplines are coming closer to showing the unseen supernatural world spoken of in the Bible.

Of course, I don’t need science to tell me the supernatural world is real. The science behind the supernatural is for the doubting Thomases. I say doubt away, because the doubters are slowly proving we are right.
