A Spiritual Black Light

By Reverend Mark Hunnemann

Recently my daughter-in-law mentioned how different the world is from what it used to be—it is more dark and dangerous. She is not alone in her observations. It seems that the vast majority of people know that our culture is in severe decline. Speaking personally as one who grew up in the 60’s and 70’s, there is no doubt that our country is vastly different. Where people differ is WHY this decline is occurring. Back in the day black lights and posters were immensely popular. I had my own and had fun with them. I would like to suggest that at the core of the cause of our cultural decay is a different kind of black light. I’ll come back to this shortly.

Vishen Lakhiani, founder of Mind Valley—which is perhaps the world's largest distributor of Neo-New Age teaching—is a kind and gentle man. I began receiving their daily emails a few years ago and have immersed myself in their emails and videos in order to understand what is happening in our world. I must add that I always pray before watching or listening to this material.

Recently I have been doing a series on the massive worldview shift that is occurring, where the paranormal is the ‘new-normal’, and that the idea of a Creator God distinct from His creation is being displaced by this new paradigm of paganism.

All the questions that entail a person’s worldview—what is ultimate reality, what does reality consist of, the nature of history, what is the meaning of life, what is the foundation for ethics, the nature of man, and what happens when we die? How we answer these extremely vital questions is determined by our worldview as well as informing our worldviews, especially what we believe is Ultimate reality. How a believer in the biblical God and creation answers these questions will differ drastically from those who see ultimate reality as oneness with the Universe….that creator and creation are co-extensive….or some variation of the notion of a collective unconsciousness (C G Jung) that we must tap into paranormally.

I mention all this so that as we explore one sample of this Neo-New Age thinking we will not miss the forest for the trees. If we are to be effective witnesses for Christ in our day then we must understand the ideas behind the ideas—the worldview shift. Otherwise we will miss the forest for the trees.

A few days ago I watched a video by Christie Marie Sheldon (one of the most popular teachers in the vast Mind Valley library). The basic premise was how to change your reality through changing your energy frequency. This has become a hot topic and millions are buying into some form of this teaching….including many preachers. It is the internet and companies like Mind Valley that are accelerating the speed with which these ideas are spreading. Whereas the Roman system of roads figured into the quick spread of the gospel, modern technological developments have shrunk the world and caused unprecedented spread of the gospel,  and also of anti-gospel messages.

In her presentation, Ms. Sheldon asserts that she can see other people’s energy fields, and she claims to be able to see the blockages to one’s consciousness, and how/when they were acquired…..and how to clear them.  Pretty heady stuff! No wonder she is one of the most popular presenters at Mind Valley, as well as amongst celebrities and CEO’s, etc. I can say from personal experience she is VERY persuasive. Some source is giving her very detailed and personal information into people’s pasts (or past lives)…..at this point she functions much like a psychic….with all the attendant dangers.

Again, her basic claim is that we can change our reality (love life, abundance, etc.) by altering our energy vibrations. She buttresses her claims by appealing to recent scientific discoveries. This is important because, as I have been saying, this new worldview is a marriage of the new science with paganism. It is claimed that a scientist was studying water molecules and that in natural state they are asymmetrical. However, when he placed a label on a bottle of water which said “love”, then as he studied the water in that bottle it displayed a lovely shape, much like a snowflake. He did the same with labels like ‘joy’ and ‘peace’. The results were varying shapes that were symmetrical and lovely. Since the human body is 70% water, then the inference is that focusing on the higher frequencies of positive thoughts would change our reality. Do you see how this “new science” is no longer at odds with spirituality, as the older secular science was? The problem is that most of this new science is wed to the new pagan spirituality, which is actually quite ancient….just clothed in modern garb. Whatever you think of the ‘experiment’, I must remind us that Satan has a keen interest in this evolution of science and spirituality.

How do we clear blockages that keep us from receiving from the universe all the love and abundance it wants to give us? She first mentions that we need to be acutely aware of how we may have self-limiting thoughts deep down.  I think it is important to say that, up to a point, she is right. A certain amount of “positive thinking” is good and healthy….even biblical.….We all have emotional scars but they need to brought before the throne of God and the teaching of the bible re the immense dignity of being made in God’s image….as well as the love of God that has been lavishly poured inside of us, if we are in union with Christ. If we believe we are failures or useless, then they will usually become self-fulfilling prophecies. However, it is due to self-sabotage and not due to some blockage in our chakras, as Ms Sheldon and innumerable other Neo-New teachers claim. We look to God and not His universe for affirmation and healing.

Some Christians will not even mention or admit that they may have a debilitating illness or disease because they think that by verbalizing it, then one is altering reality through negative affirmations. That is tragic and unbiblical. How can we pray with specificity re your disease if you are hesitant to even mention it? Sadly, the prosperity gospel, which has has been influenced by pagan categories, continues to attract many.

But back to Neo-New Age teachers…

Why do these teachers attract millions of followers? I think it is largely due to their scratching where most people itch. We want to make our lives count….to find love….to reach our full potential, and they give sensational and plausible sounding advice on how to make quantum leaps in these areas. However, they all state that the key is raising our vibrational energy in such a way as to align with the universe, which will then shower abundance upon us. That is idolatry, pure and simple. (Romans 1:18ff).

At this point, Ms. Sheldon led the group through a cleansing exercise. Starting from the head and going to the feet she systematically asked them to picture the liquid, loving light flowing through each body part. Then, she asked them to visualize this loving light going through their feet, and LET THEIR INFINITE BEING TO EXPAND. For the universe to respond, she guided them to expand to the moon….upwards and further out til she had their energy from their infinite being expanded beyond the galaxy. At each stage she said, “Feel the love, love, love….let the universe love you.” And at some point she said “You are now connecting to the oneness and source reality….see and feel your connection to the light.”

What light? Supernatural darkness can create a blaze of seeming liquid love and light which overwhelms the senses. This is the black light I referred to earlier. Not only are we being asked to initiate an OBE (out of body experience), but to astral project. And this OBE will allegedly lead to the consciousness cleansing interaction with the light. All of this is cause for great concern.

I say this with love, but these exercises are fraught with peril. We are finite beings (body-soul composite), not infinite energy in a body. And the practice of expanding one’s soul infinitely outward till it melts into the oneness of the universe, or meets some light/source energy in order to raise one consciousness/energy frequency, is a path to a false/counterfeit light. An increasing number of people are claiming to have had exquisite spiritual experiences while doing consciousness raising exercises. I do not doubt the reality of many of these experiences but I do question the identity or source behind these life-changing encounters with the universe or higher states of consciousness. My heart aches for all these dear folks who are seeking direct encounters with this ultimate reality, which in reality is a spiritual black light.

Do you see how this teaching is a reflection of the massive paradigm or worldview shift? We need to be able to connect the dots and see the common big idea behind the thousands of Neo-New Age expressions of it. One need not be an expert on all the various teachings—it is impossible—but to be an effective witness for the gospel we do need to recognize that behind it all is a shift away from the infinite/personal creator God of the bible and His creation (which is distinct from Him), towards the now dominant pagan worldview. Or Oneism vs twoism as we mentioned before.

It saddens me deeply to say this since I loved the 60’s-70’s, but that is the era when the floodgates of spiritual black light was opened, and so many things starting going downhill. Even Dr Drew recently mentioned that one can directly trace most of the current ills in society (especially psychology and relationships) to the 70’s. 2 Corinthians 11:14 mentions that Satan disguises himself as an angel of light….or we might paraphrase a spiritual black light. Behind all the hype and promise of spiritual light and abundance through raising one’s vibrational frequencies, is a counterfeit light. A light which at its core is pure darkness and evil. John 8:12 states that Jesus is the Light. Amen!

The Dalai Lama Speaks About the Art of Compassion

Danbury, CT, US, 18 October 2012 - After a short journey from Providence, Rhode Island, this morning, His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s first stop in Connecticut was at the Do Ngak Kunphen Ling Tibetan Buddhist Center for Universal Peace. Set quietly in a local house on 100 acres of ground near the town of Redding, the center is directed by Gyumed Khensur Rinpoche Lobsang Jampa. He and members and friends of the center gave His Holiness a warm welcome and escorted him into the main shrine room, where he gave a short talk.

“I am very happy to be able to make this short visit here. I know Khen Rinpoche very well, he is a good monk and I am sure he won’t cheat you. Some time ago he was unwell and I was a little worried about him, but now he seems fine.”

He said he was pleased to hear about what was taught in the center. Buddhism in general and the Nalanda tradition in particular emphasise study and investigation. The Buddha himself told his followers not to accept his teaching on trust but to investigate and examine it. The Nalanda masters applied this admonition with the result that some of the teachings recorded in the scriptures are regarded as definitive, while others are regarded as provisional. It seems to be a unique Buddhist stance to allow for an intelligent approach based on study and examination in addition to faith.

His Holiness referred to the subtle explanation of the emergence and dissolution of consciousness in Buddhist science that has much in common with a modern scientific approach. He also mentioned that in learning more from modern science one of the casualties has been the Buddhist description of the cosmos with Mount Meru at the centre.

With regard to practice, the basic structure is the training in morality, concentration and wisdom. In the introductory verses to his Great Stages of the Path to Enlightenment, Je Tsongkhapa says, ‘These days those dedicated to the practice of meditation seem to be lacking in knowledge, whereas the learned seem not to be skilled in applying what they know to their practice.’ What he envisaged was a text that would bring together all the elements of the Dharma in a way that could be readily applied in practice. His greatest fulfilment of this aim in the Stages of the Path comes at the end with his explanation of concentration and special insight. His Holiness said he had advised Khen Rinpoche not to confine himself to the text alone, but to elaborate where necessary, as a result of which his students’ understanding will be enriched.

After lunch at the Center, His Holiness drove into Danbury where he was received by the President and Vice-President of Western Connecticut State University. He addressed about 700 Tibetans before going on to the O’Neill Center where he was to speak about the Art of Compassion. Warmly received by a mixed audience of 3500, he was introduced by Richard Gere, who rejoicing at the sight of so many smiling faces  and extolled the feeling of brother and sisterhood in gathering to listen to His Holiness. “This opportunity to be with a completely reliable spiritual teacher is extraordinary,” he said. And His Holiness responded in kind,

“Respected President of the University, dear Richard Gere, brothers and sisters, it’s a great honour for me to speak to you students and local people, as well as so many other old friends. It feels like a reunion.”

“My fundamental belief is that we are all the same as human beings. We don’t need an introduction when we meet because we are mentally, physically, emotionally the same. I find this is a very helpful way of thinking. Whether I’m speaking to 1000 people or 100,000, there are no barriers between us.”

His Holiness explained that when there are no barriers there’s room for trust. Trust is the basis of friendship. On a global level the time has come to develop a strong sense of the oneness of humanity. Then there will be no room for exploitation, cheating or bullying. If others are successful, be happy. Otherwise, if we a jealous, that leads to mistrust, which leads to fear and suspicion and ultimately loneliness.

Everyone wants to lead a peaceful life, but a peaceful society does not evolve only from economic development, it comes about as a result of inner peace in the hearts of individuals. How can we develop such inner peace? Through prayer? His Holiness said that of course prayer has its place, but he feels a need to take action instead. People today are familiar with the word meditation, but there is more to it than closing our eyes and relaxing. The mind needs to remain fully alert, we need to analyse the nature of self and scrupulously examine what suffering is. He said such analytical meditation is what brings him inner peace. Other people can do this too if they employ their intelligence fully.

Emotions create trouble in our minds, but we can regulate them by applying our intelligence. For example, we might be on the verge of getting angry, but another part of our mind intervenes and helps us to stop. Anger only ever brings trouble, as well as damaging our health. We can regulate emotions like anger not through prayer, but by using our intelligence. To do that better we need to know more about how the system of mind and emotion works. However, while modern education has much to tell us about the material world, it’s generally inadequate when it comes to the mind.

His Holiness declared that we are all born from a mother and we are biologically equipped to give and respond to affection by the care that most of us receive from her. This sense of affection is the basis for warm-heartedness and warm-heartedness is the basis for the compassion that underlies what he calls secular ethics. Although ethics are widely regarded as the province of religion, His Holiness uses secular here not to dismiss religion but to express an impartial respect for all religions.

Happiness and suffering are dependent on causes; actions we do that benefit others, benefit us too. Many of our problems arise because we take an unrealistic approach to whatever’s involved. His Holiness remarked that the idea of interdependence can be helpful in all kinds of situations. If we are unrealistic, whatever we do will not yield a positive result. Conversely if we want to better appreciate the reality of a situation, we have to take a realistic view. His Holiness concluded his talk, saying,

“Happiness depends on inner peace; inner peace depends on warm-heartedness. Inner peace can be found by employing our intelligence.”

A student asked what one thing most harms humanity and His Holiness’s answer was ignorance. The reason we place such stress on education is that by definition it helps us reduce ignorance. To a question about the role of religion in society, he said religion had brought great solace to many in the past and will continue to do so in the future. The different philosophical views they expound indicate different approaches to the same target. Another student mentioned that we train children to be kind and compassionate, and asked what can be done to stop adults fighting. His Holiness recalled that the twentieth century, despite many great developments, was an era of violence and bloodshed. He hopes that this new century will prove to be an era of dialogue. Problems will continue to occur, but the solution should change, dialogue being more effective than force. What’s more, we should apply this too in our day to day lives.

When pressed about the advice he gives the foreign leaders he meets, His Holiness agreed that he has the opportunity to meet both political and spiritual leaders, but made clear that he doesn’t lecture them. He said they tend to sit together and talk easily like friends. Finally, with regard to where young people can find the inspiration to act for the good of humanity, he said they need vision and determination. He also suggested American students should learn more about other parts of the world. Once they learn more about difficulties elsewhere, they may better appreciate their own country’s qualities and be inspired to give those less fortunate their help.

His Holiness often finishes his public talks with the following proviso,

“Please think about what I have said and if it makes sense to you, fine, put it into effect; but if it isn’t any use then forget it.”

The Four Horseman Of The Apocalypse

Hello my friends! I trust you had a great Sunday and are in good health. This is a subject I've been asked to explain to the best of my knowledge again. I wrote about this back in 2013 and I have some additional information from a biblical point of view. The book of Revelations can be very intimidating. But we know who wins in the end. I will do my very best to explain some of this to the best of my knowledge. I have done a lot of research online and in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is only my interpretation from my research. I do not claim to be any expert on this particular subject. I'm just trying to answer questions I receive in my emails. I can always be reached at biblicaldemonologist@gmail.com. I will always offer any help and if I can't I will do my best to find you that help.

What Does Apocalypse Mean?

The word apocalypse means a prophetic warning or disclosure or a revelation (a revealing) of a coming event of great importance.  The Greek word for apocalypse is “apocálypsis” and means an “uncovering.” It is like lifting a curtain or a veil so that something that was previously unknown or unseen is now seen and has been revealed for all to see.  The word is closely related to the Book of Revelation or the “Apocalypsis.”  The Book of Revelation is not a revelation from the Apostle John.  He only wrote it but it is actually “The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John” (Rev 1:1).  This is the book that contains the so-called Four Horsemen.

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are mentioned in the Bible in chapter six of the Book of Revelation, which predicts that they will ride during the Apocalypse.

The four horsemen are traditionally named War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death. However, the Bible actually only names one: Death. An alternate interpretation, likely based on differing translations, holds the first Horseman to represent War and/or the Antichrist, the second to represent Pestilence (sometimes called Plague), while the third and fourth riders remain Famine and Death, respectively.

What is described by the seals is similar to the signs of the end of the age as described by Jesus in Matthew 24. There will be wars, famines and earthquakes (Mat 24:6-8), persecution (24:9-14), the heavenly bodies are shaken (Mat 24:29) and 'at that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn' (Mat 24:30).

The first Horseman is the rider of a white horse, carries a bow, and wears a crown. He is described as a conqueror. For this reason, he is sometimes interpreted as the Antichrist or as a false world leader. This Horseman is also sometimes called Pestilence.

The second Horseman is astride a red horse and carries a sword. He is associated with war and slaughter, and the Bible attributes to him the power to take away peace and to make men kill each other.

The third Horseman rides a black horse and carries scales. This Horseman, popularly called Famine, is thought to represent not only scarcity of food, but also the strict rationing or unfair allocation of goods and the exploitation of the poor.

The last of the Four Horsemen, Death, rides a "pale horse" of a sickly hue and is followed by Hades, or Hell.

The nature of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse is hotly debated by theologians and Christians, but they are almost universally fascinating, regardless or perhaps because of their mystery. They were popular subjects for art during the medieval period and the Renaissance, and references to them continue to crop up in popular culture in our own day and age. Whether or not Pestilence, War, Famine, and Death are the correct interpretations of the Biblical Four Horsemen -- which will likely remain in debate for the foreseeable future -- it is safe to assume that that is what they represent in a cultural or literary context.

In many opinions The book of Revelation in the Bible is real and does not need one to read the hidden truths. When it says Jesus Christ is coming back again it means Jesus Christ is coming back again. When it says the Horsemen it means exactly that.

Since Christ is the One opening these seals and revealing what will happen in this world prior to His return, is there anywhere else in the Bible that He discloses these events? In fact, He did so shortly before His death in a section known as the Olivet Prophecy (given on the Mount of Olives), recorded in the Gospels of Matthew (chapter 24), Mark (chapter 13) and Luke (chapter 21) Seeing what Christ said in this prophecy helps us identify what each of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse represents.

In Matthew 24:3 Christ’s disciples asked, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” In the comparison chart below, notice how Christ’s answer lines up exactly with what He gave years later in the book of Revelation through the apostle John.

Notice the enormous effect of these first four seals (horsemen) in Revelation 6:8: “And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.” This indicates that the first four seals will ultimately result in a death toll of one-fourth the earth’s population. This summary statement also adds something else that will contribute to the death toll—beasts of the earth, which kill as carriers of pestilence and as ravenous predators.

The ride of the fifth horseman

However, the fifth horseman of Revelation, Jesus Christ, rides not with famine, pestilence or a false gospel like the earlier riders. His ride is not the fifth seal of Revelation 6. Instead He is the returning King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Christ rides onto the world stage at the moment of earth’s greatest crisis—and “makes war.” But it will truly be the war to end wars.

The first four seals are clearly already open in our day now, and the four horsemen of the Apocalypse have been riding through the years, taking their toll on populations. But many other prophecies in the Bible show that their destruction will multiply greatly as the next seal—the fifth seal or Great Tribulation—is about to open. Christ reveals that this world is about to undergo great devastation due to the rebellion of humanity against our Creator.

May God Help us All.

Unholy Trinity: Ghosts, UFO's & Cryptids

By Reverend Mark Hunnemann

Okey dokey, that is it. I am fed up with the cryptid craze. As far as I can tell, it is as demonic as ghosts and UFO's.

Let me explain.

Do I believe it is possible for unknown species to be walking and swimming. in the world today? Absolutely! They are being discovered all the time! Especially in unexplored places.

When I speak of cryptids let me focus on two--mermaids and Bigfoot, especially the latter.

There is simply too much evidence to dismiss them as figments of people's imagination. I am neither a scientist nor the son of a scientist, but I can tell when a phenomenon is real. But to posit the reality of somethings appearance, is not the same as affirming that it is AS IT APPEARS.

The Angel of Light principle tells us that demons can appear as anything--ANYTHING. If that is the case, then in principle, demons can appear as Bigfoot (or mermaid, etc)

The issue is not whether demons CAN appear as Bigfoot, but whether the evidence shows that they do. I want to mention some reasons why it is plausible to see that demons have motive for doing so.

MISSING LINK....this is not mentioned much in Bigfoot discussion, but it is at times, when folks are being open and honest. I will say this with force--THERE IS NO MISSING LINK, because of the doctrine of creation. There should be millions of transitional fossils if macro-evolution took place. They do not exist...only a few big streeeethces by injudicius scientists. To use a Polar Bear as evidence (which is common) misses the point, because the bible allows for variation WITHIN THE SPECIES. However, what Christians forget at times is that Bigfoot is the biggest evidence of alleged macro-evolution....and it is alive!!!!!  THAT is a powerful motive for Satan to milk this Bigfoot crap for all its worth.

Others have studied this in more detail, but there is an unmistakable supernatural connection with Bigfoot sightings....cold spots, red eyes, movement of alleged mammal that is IMPOSSIBLE. Once second they are due North...2 seconds later it is due South.

They have that "smell".

The hair stands on end......they feel they are being "watched".

Uncapturable.

Last week I saw several episodes of "Mountain Monsters" located in West VA.Laugh if wish, but they could never catch "IT"....even though they had impressive evidence.

What do ufologists, ghost hunters, and Bigfoot hunters have in common? Obsession.....in fact, it becomes an idol--that which drives them.

I am not an expert but I do know what the bible says. You cannot affirm the existence of giants of any kind (humanoid) from the bible.

I will say again--there are many species we have not discovered yet, but Bigfoot exhibits too many traits that I have come familiar with....pointing to demons. To me, Bigfoot is just another ploy to take our eyes off of Jesus.

Please send any comments or questions and we can discuss this further.

Dalai Lama Speaks Of Hope

Cambridge, MA, USA, 30 April 2009 (By Michael Paulson, The Boston Globe) - The Dalai Lama, kicking off a four-day visit to the Boston area, today acknowledged China's extraordinary economic and political might, but said the world's largest nation's quest to be considered a superpower will be stymied as long as China continues to dodge human rights concerns.

The 73-year-old spiritual and political leader of Tibetan Buddhism, who has led a government in exile in India for 50 years, beamed and laughed as he fielded questions from the Boston news media at the Charles Hotel, sitting in a conference room decorated with images of doodles and notes by former President John F. Kennedy. As he began the session, he was noticeably fatigued, but he became increasingly animated, and as he rose to leave, a reporter's shouted question about whether he ever expected to set foot in Tibet again prompted a lengthy finger-pointing response about the meanings of home and of hope, and he then plunged into the media scrum to bow, shake hands, and pose for pictures.

Perhaps the most pointed moment of the news conference came when the Dalai Lama appeared to compare the U.S. to China, criticizing the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq alongside his criticism of China's repression of Tibetan demonstrators last year.

Despite the fact that some have criticized the Obama administration, and particularly Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, for allegedly soft-pedalling human rights concerns when talking with China, the Dalai Lama said he saw no change in American policy toward Tibet with the arrival of the new administration, and he praised Obama as "straightforward" and for trying to improve some of America's testier foreign relationships.

But the Dalai Lama also acknowledged that he is not meeting with Obama during his current trip the US, and said that he hopes, but is not certain, that he will meet the president during another trip to the U.S. in October. And the Dalai Lama said, referring to former President George W. Bush, "I love President Bush,'' acknowledging serious policy disagreements, but citing Bush's warm personality.

The Dalai Lama offered warm remarks about Harvard University, which he first visited in 1979, and will visit again tomorrow with a speech at The Memorial Church and a tree-planting ceremony in Harvard Yard. The Dalai Lama has cultivated a relationship with Harvard because of a perception that many the nation's future leaders study there.

During this visit to Boston -- the Dalai Lama's sixth trip to the region -- he will also dedicate a new ethics center, named after him, at MIT; will discuss the relationship between meditation and psychotherapy at a Harvard Medical School sponsored panel discussion, and will host two large public events, including an introductory course in Buddhism, that are expected to be attended by as many as 13,000 people on Saturday at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro.

While in Cambridge, the Dalai Lama was scheduled to meet privately with a handful of elderly and disabled Tibetan-Americans, but most of the area's tiny Tibetan community -- estimated at about 600 people -- is expected to arrive en masse in Foxboro on Saturday.

"I doubt there is a single Tibetan in Boston who won't be there -- this is a huge deal for Tibetans to see His Holiness,'' said Dhondup Phunkhang, a spokesman for the Tibetan Association of Boston. "Tibetans in Tibet risk their lives to see him, so of course we who live in a free country should go. It's a huge honor to be able to see him and to associate with His Holiness.''

The Dalai Lama, asked whether, after 50 years with no success in his quest to win greater autonomy for Tibet, there is any reason for hope for the Tibetan cause, acknowledged that rationally there is little cause for optimism. However, he offered a brief history of post-revolutionary China, suggesting that the nation has repeatedly changed course in serious ways, and so it is possible it will change again. He said China has essentially abandoned socialism -- he called it a "capitalist autocratic communist'' nation. And he said the Chinese people have been more sympathetic to the Tibetan cause than has the Chinese government -- he cited as evidence what he said were articles sympathetic to Tibet that have been written by Chinese authors over the last year.

Shamanism: The Ritual Act of Witchcraft

This blog is intended to help those of individuals within the paranormal realm understand what Shamanism is.  Many people understand a Shaman to be a “God” ordained individual to help assist with spiritual matters.  Today you will even see many paranormal people aligning themselves with these “Spirit Healers”.

So then what is a Shaman and then what is Shamanism?  A Shaman is known by a variety of names — holy man, priest, medicine man, even the adjective “witch doctor” within primitive cultures.  So what then is Shamanism?  Shamanism is a method where an individual (a shaman – described above) attempts to solve problems through manipulation and contact with the spirit world.

Merely this is an act of witch doctoring in the animist religion.  This means that all things that have spirits are equal with us humans.  These spirits are everywhere, permeate into our world and can affect our lives.  Shamans use altered states of consciousness to contact spirits which can be either good or bad in order to learn the future, make decisions, or attempt healings of people who might be oppressed by bad spirits.

As we have learned from previous blogs that these good and bad spirits are the Fallen Angels and Demons posing as “good and helpful” entities willing to assist.  Shamanism uses these spirit guides, contacting these guides in order to have them direct life.  Shamans use astral projection, where the spirit of a person leaves the body and travels into the spirit world and various means of predicting the future such as throwing bones. Therefore, Shamanism is divination and sorcery and is generally practiced by Indian tribes.  The Bible condemns divination as a sin see Leviticus 19:25 and Deuteronomy 18:10 KJV.

The Holy Bible clearly tells us that this type of act is wrong and violates the precepts of what God has deemed proper and righteous.  Shamanism is a form of Animism which views all created things -- humans, animals, plants, landscapes, elemental forces and seasons -- as having an intelligent, communicative life force or spirit.  It is similar to modern Buddhism which also worships the planet and everything on it.  Therefore this is a form of worship of the creation from the creator and the bible clearly tells us that we shall have NO other gods than thee!

Shamanism is an intentional effort to develop intimate and lasting relationships with familiar demons. The Shaman is consciously going into controlled visionary experiences (a form of demonic possession) to connect with these spirit beings who guide, guard, instruct, bless and in the end drag their soul to hell.  As I have stated and others as well, Demons can appear as all sorts of things.  These demons can appear to be spirits of nature, animals, plants, the elements (earth, air, fire & water), ancestors, gods, goddesses and teachers from other religions.

For Shamans to be effective they must have a strong personal relationship with these demons. Ultimately, the real healers are not the Shamans but the demons.  Therefore why would a person who is suffering from diabolical issues bring in a person such as a Shaman who uses demons to fight demons?

Using this mentality is a dangerous act as it does not make sense.   I am not bashing individuals who choose to seek this type of assistance out to “help” them out of horrible situations, but rather understand who it is that you are engaging with and using within your life to help you out.  In a sense would you invite Satan to dine at your table within your own home knowing that you are having demonic issues?

The Shaman individual functions as a conduit or channel of spiritual energy and power received from these spirits.  However, the Shaman is the source of power for these demons through fasting, sweating, vision quests, drumming, rattling, chanting, dancing and being possessed by these demons posing as spirit guides.  This soul power generated is then directed by the demons for their own use -- and also to aid the Shaman.

Any supernatural assistance comes with a price on the demon's terms.  No exorcism is possible, since Satan is not about to drive out part of his own kingdom.  All that is done is a negotiation for the replacement of one malicious demon for a more powerful demon.  All physical healing, fertility or a blessing comes at a spiritual cost.  An example of this is found in Genesis 3:1 regarding the serpent and Eve as you shall learn more about below.

One of the most seductive traps these demons offer is to assist the Shaman on a spiritual journey that is partly imaginary and partly soul traveling (astral projection).  The demons offer fantastic trips of seeming great importance, offering enormous secrets that only they are privy to.  There is just enough truth in it to make it look valid.  All of this leads to great delusions of grandeur that this person couldn't reproduce in real life and sometimes this act leads to insanity.

Sadly the paranormal people who started out with seeking the truth with which to truly help those suffering end up caught in a web of further deception.  Ultimately the family or individual facing diabolical aspects receives ever more diabolical reactions against them.  Both parties, the paranormal investigators as well as the afflicted family or persons started out seeking the truth but they had no direction to turn to find truth due to running into the schemes of Satan.

What one will find when a Christian has a very strong discussion with a Shaman is that they themselves are still seeking truth when you run might across them.  Recently a few weeks ago I had an impromptu meeting with a man who was trained by a Shaman Witch.  The man was so fascinated about the discussion of Demonic forces and the Lord Jesus Christ.

However, this man had rejected sound foundational beliefs due to trauma in his life (much like what we witness daily in this field) as he was mixing Witchcraft acts with Christianity.  The young man would not call upon the Lord Jesus Christ, but call upon the “great spirit”.  Sadly the “great spirit” is not what this young man believes to be true and accurate.

Christians have the truth which Shamans have not been quite able to find.  We can heal and drive off demons without it being a Faustian (deal with the devil) bargain.  When presented properly with the truth they are often the first person within the tribe to become a Christian when the Holy Gospel is presented to them. The Shaman may not be able to hear the gospel due to being heavily infested with demons.  Therefore the Shaman needs to go through proper deliverance to be set free.

So now that you understand the truth why would an individual use a person who is not in line with Lord Jesus Christ to defeat Satan?  Satan is possessive of the people he has in his grips and Satan will send demons & slaves to try to reclaim those people or attack them.

Blessings in the name of Lord Jesus Christ to all of you.

Angelology/Christian Demonology And The Cherubim

I hope your having a wonderful Sunday so far and everyone you love is healthy. This is a difficult subject to research and more difficult to explain but I will do my best at the request of many of you to go over this subject again. I blogged about this back either in November 2013 or Jan of this year so I hope to add more helpful information based on my humble opinion. Please remember I do not claim to be any kind of expert in anything I blog about. It is all just my humble opinion based on what I've researched so save the hate mail for the arrogant people who claim to know all and everyone else is wrong.

Angelology is the study of angels. There are many unbiblical views of angels today. Some believe angels are human beings who have died. Others believe that angels are impersonal sources of power. Still others deny the existence of angels entirely. A biblical understanding of angelology will correct these false beliefs. Angelology tells us what the Bible says about angels. It is a study of how the angels relate to humanity and serve God's purposes. Here are some important issues in angelology. Though the doctrine of angels holds an important place in the Gospel, it is often viewed as a very difficult and challenging subject because, while there is abundant mention of angels in the Bible, the nature of this revelation is without the same kind of explicit description we often find with other subjects developed in the Bible:

Demonology is the study of demons. Christian demonology is the study of what the Bible teaches about demons. Closely related to angelology, Christian demonology teaches us about the demons, what they are and how they attack us. Satan and his demons are fallen angels, real personal beings who wage war against God, the holy angels, and humanity. Christian demonology helps us to be aware of Satan, his minions, and their evil schemes.

Cherubims are angelic beings who are highly involved in the worship of God The Father. The cherubim are first mentioned in the Bible in Genesis 3:24, “After He drove the man out, He placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.” Prior to his rebellion, Satan was a cherub (Ezekiel 28:12-15). The tabernacle and temple along with their articles contained many representations of cherubim (Exodus 25:17-22; 26:1, 31; 36:8; 1 Kings 6:23-35; 7:29-36; 8:6-7; 1 Chronicles 28:18; 2 Chronicles 3:7-14;

Chapters 1 and 10 of the book of Ezekiel describe the “four living creatures” as the same beings as the cherubim (Ezekiel 10). Each had four faces—that of a man, a lion, an ox, and an eagle (Ezekiel 1:10; also 10:14)—and each had four wings. In their appearance, the cherubim “had the likeness of a man” (Ezekiel 1:5). These cherubim used two of their wings for flying and the other two for covering their bodies (Ezekiel 1:6, 11, 23). Under their wings the cherubim appeared to have the form, or likeness, of a man's hand (Ezekiel 1:8; 10:7-8, 21).

The presence of the sword-bearing cherubim  stresses that Adam and Eve were forcefully expelled from the Garden of Eden. The word cherubim is plural, indicating several angelic beings, either on the eastern side or the edge of the Garden, who completely blocked the way to the tree of life. The added facts that the sword was flaming and “turned every way” also indicates very strongly the strong security God had provided. There was no ability at all for Adam and Eve or any other person to reach the tree of life.

We need to put the focus on the Lord's Angels! Everything I see on TV interview seeing new shows in new movies are all about demons. That's why there's so much more daemonic activity going on and seems to be very much on the rise as many people are being influenced by these ghost hunting shows and these movies that are coming out in theaters that are pure evil. People are mimicking what you're seeing on the shows attempting séances, Ouija board sessions, demon summoning etc...People,the Lords Angels are 100 times more powerful than any demon or devil, I can assure you. They are our protectors and sent by God. There is so much comfort and solace in this. I personally believe we have them assigned to us for protection just as satan has assigned a demon or demons to torment and hurt us and our lives.

Angels are known as God's messengers. It's very interesting and very important to know some information about them. I personally go by a biblical point of view and the biblical laws of the bible. So please understand it is only my humble opinion of how I interpret this subject. Anyone I quote doesn't mean I agree with what they do. There are so many movies out and coming out about demons and the devil possessing. It's so disturbing however, you hear nothing of Angels.

At some undisclosed time following His creation of the heavens and the earth, God created the angels (Ps.148:2-5; Col.1:16). This event took place after the original ex nihilo (i.e., "out of nothing") creation of the universe described Genesis 1:1, and before the restoration of the earth (described also at Job 38:4-7) which followed God's initial judgment upon the universe because of Satan's rebellion (the results of which are described in Genesis 1:2 and following). God created all angelic kind at this time (including Satan and all those who would eventually rebel against Him). Though some would come to choose against Him, all the angels were originally created holy (Deut.33:2; Ps.89:7; Mk.8:38; Lk. 9:26). God gave each of them distinct duties and definite domains in which to exercise specified authority delegated.

An Angel  (from the Greek ἄγγελος ángelos, "messenger"[1]) is a supernatural being or spirit, often depicted in humanoid form with feathered wings on their backs and halos around their heads, found in various religions and mythologies.

The theological study of angels is known as "angelology". In Zoroastrianism and Abrahamic religions they are often depicted as benevolent celestial beings who act as intermediaries between Heaven and Earth, or as guardian spirits or a guiding influence.[2]

The term "angel" has also been expanded to various notions of spirits found in many other religious traditions. Other roles of angels include protecting and guiding human beings, and carrying out God's tasks.[3]

In art, angels are often depicted with bird-like wings on their back, a halo, robes and various forms of glowing light.[4]

In post-Biblical Judaism, certain angels took on particular significance and developed unique personalities and roles. Though these archangels were believed to rank among the heavenly host, no systematic hierarchy ever developed. Metatron is considered one of the highest of the angels in Merkabah and Kabbalist mysticism and often serves as a scribe; he is briefly mentioned in the Talmud [17] and figures prominently in Merkabah mystical texts. Michael, who serves as a warrior[18] and advocate for Israel (Daniel 10:13), is looked upon particularly fondly.[19] Gabriel is mentioned in the Book of Daniel (Daniel 8:15–17) and briefly in the Talmud, [20] as well as in many Merkabah mystical texts. There is no evidence in Judaism for the worship of angels, but there is evidence for the invocation and sometimes even conjuration of angels.[21].

Below are just some verses I found in scripture that give us more insight to Angels and what they do and how important they are. They are powerful beyond imagining. Demons fear the smite of them. They tremble in fear!

The LORD, the God of heaven, brought me from the home of my father and from the land of my relatives, and he solemnly promised me that he would give this land to my descendants. He will send his angel before you, so that you can get a wife there for my son. (Genesis 24:7)

He answered, 'The LORD, whom I have always obeyed, will send his angel with you and give you success. You will get for my son a wife from my own people, from my father's family. (Genesis 24:40)

Behold, I send an Angel before you, to keep you in the way, and to bring you to the place which I have prepared.

Angels fight against God's enemies

That night an angel of the LORD went to the Assyrian camp and killed 185,000 soldiers. At dawn the next day there they lay, all dead!

The LORD sent an angel that killed the soldiers and officers of the Assyrian army. So the emperor went back to Assyria disgraced. One day when he was in the temple of his god, some of his sons killed him with their swords. (2 Ch 32:21)

Researching Angels of The Lord is very interesting and uplifting however,  It's a difficult subject to understand and even harder to explain. We all interpret the bible differently and the same goes for the literature we research. This is why I ask the Holy Spirit to open my eyes to the truth and to help me understand.

Angelology gives us God's perspective on angels. Angels are personal beings who worship and obey our Lord God Almighty. God sometimes sends angels to "interfere" in the course of humanity. Angelology helps us to recognize the warfare that exists between God's angels and Satan and his demons. A proper understanding of angelology is very important. When we understand that angels are created beings, just as we are, we realize that worshipping or praying to angels robs God of the glory that belongs to Him alone. It was God, not angels, who sent His Son to die for us, who loves and cares for us, and who alone is worthy of our adoration.

Please ask Jesus into your heart and life. He loves you so very much. There is nothing that you could of done that would keep our Heavenly Father from loving us. Please keep that in mind. He is with us always. He wants us to prosper.
