Sweet Dreams Are Made of This

Hello everyone hope you have had a fantastic weekend. I pray everyone is healthy and everyone you love is healthy. This week I'd like to discuss how some believer in their opinion that God speaks to us in dreams. It's not just a time where some feel they are open for demonic attack. Call on God next time you feel this way and see what happens. The bible has examples of God speaking to people in dreams and telling us he will speak through dreams. The following a a few examples of that.

And they replied "we both had dreams but no one can tell us what they mean.”
“Interpreting dreams is God’s business,” Joseph replied.
“Go ahead and tell me your dreams"

Genesis 40:8 (NLT) Jacob Dreamed
11 Then the Angel of God spoke to me in a dream, saying, 'Jacob.' And I said, 'Here I am.'24 But God had come to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said to him, "Be careful that you speak to Jacob neither good nor bad."
Gen 31:11,24 Genesis 2812 Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.

"And the Lord said to them, “Now listen to what I say:
“If there were prophets among you,I, the Lord, would reveal myself in visions. I would speak to them in dreams."
Numbers 12:6 (NLT)

"He speaks in dreams, in visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they lie in their beds."
Job 33:15 (NLT)

"For in many dreams and in many words there is emptiness.
Rather, fear God." "And the LORD answered me, and said,
Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables,
that he may run that readeth  it.  For the vision is yet for an appointed time,
but at the end it shall speak, and not lie:
though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."
Habakkuk 2:2-3 (KJV)

"And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams" Acts 2:17

The facts that you have heard from God does not mean everyone will welcome your dream. People will react differently but most likely not positive at times. Your dream will be opposed just like Joseph’s and Jesus’ and Nehemiah’s or Paul’s. However this should not deter you. If you know your dream is from God, hold on to it, pray it back to God when the storms and wind come storming in. The brothers of Joseph conspired against him. They threw him into the pit sold him into slavery. He ended up in Potiphar’s house as a servant. It was as if his dream bought and brought him trouble.

What I do is keep a pen and paper next to my bed to take notes of any odd dreams so I can remember them because many people, and I am among them tend to forget what they have dreamed the longer they are awake. What took place seems to fade rather quickly upon waking up from these. I'm not sure why that happens. Could be a number of reasons for this but if you write down some notes upon waking that will really up possibly in understanding what exactly took place in the dreams you are having.

Bad Bad Thing Award Goes to Mother Who Claims Son Has Cancer

By Kirby Robinson

Emily Creno, Utica, Ohio
Claiming Son Has Cancer

Emily Creno of Utica, Ohio is a bad bad thing to the human race. It's bad enough to fake cancer for money, but it's even worst to claim your own four-year-old son has it.

No place does it say that it is okay to convince your child he is dying when he isn't. The state of Ohio should throw the book at her

Do you know of a para-celeb, psychic, ghost hunter, demon chaser, or false teacher who’s eligible for the award? You can take part by sending us a name and why you think they should receive the BAD BAD THING award. Contact freeallspirits@live.com for more information.

Our 5th Anniversary Issue!

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! When we first started the Eye on the Paranormal blog five years ago on this exact date we thought it would only last for a short period of time and we'd go back to our normal lives. However, five years later the Eye on the paranormal has grown into a daily blog. And the same issues that we were writing about back then, namely para-celebrities who lie to the public, still linger within the paranormal field. On our fifth anniversary, we've decided to republish the very first blog within what became a series of blogs—more than 650 of them.

We'll continue to fight the good fight of faith over the next five years to expose the fakery within the paranormal field. Our resolve hasn’t weakened, our determination and drive is still strong. Thank you to all the readers that have made the EoTP a blog, and now a radio show, quite successful.

Eye on the Paranormal – Issue 1
Copyright 2008 By Kirby Robinson

Hello everyone! The Eye on the Paranormal is now open! Over the next several weeks we will be casting a critical look at the paranormal world, particularly the issues of honesty, integrity, and how the public has been manipulated into buying a lie.

When A&E’s Paranormal State premiered back in December 2007, I was both hopeful and excited that a show was going to factually portray the worlds of ghosts, paranormal activity, and demons, in a fair and accurate way. And at first, I was pleased with what I saw. But as the hoopla and hysteria began to die off a more critical look at the program and the actions of the Paranormal Research Society, along with those who have appeared on it as experts in the field of paranormal activity, demons/demonology, and psychics/mediums, things did not add up. The episodes were filled with sloppy investigative techniques, incorrect statements of how paranormal activity works, inconsistent storylines, and dubious intents.

Suddenly, anyone that began to question the validity of the A&E program began to have their character assassinated.

The second season opened with a good deal of anticipation. But it also raised even more questions, and when those questions were asked, they were met with a higher level of threats and intimidations. Soon, blogs were deleted, and the persecution continued with entire MySpace profiles being deleted.

As I watched Season 2 unfold, I finally told myself that I had to come out and state that Paranormal State is a fake.

Tammy Wilson and Tonya Hacker of The Ghost Divas! are hosts of a weekly live radio show and have 20 years of combined experience within the paranormal field. These ladies were removed from the list of speakers scheduled to appear at Univ-con this weekend. Also, their blogs stating nothing but facts were deleted from MySpace due to complaints filed by Paranormal State and PRS. This got my ire up, so I challenged both Ryan Buell and Chip Coffey to the Paranormal Moment of Truth Challenge. As you know, Fox Network has a program entitled Moment of Truth. This features a contestant being hooked up to a lie detector and as long as they answer truthfully for 21 questions, they could win up to $500,000. Here is a copy of the actual email sent to Ryan and Chip.

Dear Ryan Buell and Chip Coffey:
I have expressed concerns about how you conduct your investigations and the validity of those investigations, where anyone with a clear and discerning eye can see that they are not authentic. I have also witnessed heavy-handed tactics being used against people who question your alleged authority within the paranormal community and dared to raise questions concerning the validity of your A&E shows, Paranormal State, and Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal. I can no longer sit by in silence. That is why I came up with The Paranormal Moment of Truth Challenge, which will benefit you, your organization, the paranormal field, and a charity that would be assisted from the donation of the prize money.

1 ~ It would silence your critics if you are determined to be telling the truth about all your claims and how they are presented. There can be no one left to challenge your honesty and integrity.

2 ~ It would not only benefit your organization, but it would also help the entire paranormal field. Because if such evidence is true, it will be brought to a much wider audience, which hopefully would fuel additional legitimate investigations. So it’s a win-win situation for everyone.

3 ~ The charity of your choice would have the prize money donated to them. If the truth is being told, that prize money could reach $500,000.So, what is The Paranormal Moment of Truth Challenge? I am sure you’ve heard of the Fox Network program entitled The Moment of Truth. This is where a contestant is hooked up to a lie detector test and asked 50 questions, of which 21 of them are used on the actual show. As long as you tell the truth, you keep on winning money -- up to $500,000. The production company, Lighthearted Entertainment Inc., would jump at an opportunity of doing a show with the two of you. And I will put my personal credibility on the line and appear, as well. For if you visit my Free All Spirits page you’ll notice that I personally make what some would call outlandish claims concerning my work as a Demonologist/Exorcist/Paranormal Investigator/Caring Spiritual Adviser. If you would like to be "one step closer to the truth" then this is a way to achieve your goal. If interested, please contact me at this email address and I will get the ball rolling as soon as possible.
Your friend in spirit,
Kirby

To date, this is the response that I’ve received from both of them.

Why not do the show? Only you, the paranormal field, and a charity of your choice would benefit.
The next issue will cover how Paranormal State came into existence and an analysis of the pilot episode.

NOTE: Please feel free to copy and paste this and place it all over the web. And, unlike any of my other blogs, you can even repost this under your own name!

Issue 134 –Chelsea Damali—Fake Bad Psychic Goin' Wild

By Kirby Robinson

Tonight’s show begins at 7 PM [PST] or 10 PM [EST].  The topic is: Adios, Ghosts! The Myth-Busting Continues…

Tonight: we'll discuss the Haunting in Connecticut case.

Now, for the news…

There's a bad, bad psychic named Chelsea Damali that's feeding off the public…and we haven't forgotten the Un-Murder Bordello.

The Klinge Brothers and/or Chip Coffey shouldn't think we've forgotten about the lies that they've kept brewing in Galena, Kansas. If Coffey was even remotely psychic, he should be hearing fingers hitting the keyboards – yes, plural -- on more than one computer. There is a forthcoming book in the works. And yes, it'll be damning to all those involved in this deception.

Want to guess who my co-author is on this one?

Meet Another Bad, Bad Psychic – Chelsea Damali

If you've caught my show your know I have little good to say about them. I know their games, I can talk their lingo, and I can play the role better than most. Why? Because I used to be one of them.

I have even less tolerance for psychics who take advantage of the public. Meet Chelsea Damali – a fake psychic who feels comfortable ripping people off. Here's her Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/cdamali

Take a quick look if you want, but I don't recommend hanging out there. Apparently, Ms. Damali has a bad habit of taking your money and giving you no reading. If you're lucky enough to get your money back, you MIGHT get it on back in increments. Or there might be no refund at all.

But if you dig just a little you might find a change in her last name to Faust. Why the name change? Other than a marriage to Mr. Faust, why such a name? As you probably know, Faust is a fictional character who made a pact with the devil. Or is there some kind of splotchy past that Chelsea might want to keep hidden?

She also runs a blog where she makes many claims: http://chelseadamali.wordpress.com/

There, she refers to herself as an author. Having a blog doesn't make you an author. You're a blogger. There's a big difference between the two.

A Life Coach? Anyone can be one. Just buy the degree or go to one of those online schools--no tests taken, write a few papers. You better be living a successful life prior to telling others how to live theirs.

Clairvoyant? Prove it. Being a paranormal team's go-to psychic on a bad fake para-reality show doesn't make you one.

TV Psychic. This can easily be disproven. Chelsea lists an upcoming 16-city Shadows and Visions Tour. There's no proof that such a tour is real. A web search leads us back to only one site and that’s hers. The tour supposedly begins on October 11, yet nowhere do we see a link to buy tickets or such an event.

If you happen to be in Bountiful, Utah you could drop in for a reading:

But I wouldn't advise it.

Finally, we discover a Las Vegas connection here: http://www.chelseadamali.net/

Come back next week as we keep digging …

The Monk in the Lab

By the Dalai Lama

These are times when destructive emotions like anger, fear and hatred are giving rise to devastating problems throughout the world. While the daily news offers grim reminders of the destructive power of such emotions, the question we must ask is this: What can we do, person by person, to overcome them?

Of course such disturbing emotions have always been part of the human condition. Some — those who tend to believe nothing will “cure” our impulses to hate or oppress one another — might say that this is simply the price of being human. But this view can create apathy in the face of destructive emotions, leading us to conclude that destructiveness is beyond our control.

I believe that there are practical ways for us as individuals to curb our dangerous impulses — impulses that collectively can lead to war and mass violence. As evidence I have not only my spiritual practice and the understanding of human existence based on Buddhist teachings, but now also the work of scientists.

For the last 15 years I have engaged in a series of conversations with Western scientists. We have exchanged views on topics ranging from quantum physics and cosmology to compassion and destructive emotions. I have found that while scientific findings offer a deeper understanding of such fields as cosmology, it seems that Buddhist explanations — particularly in the cognitive, biological and brain sciences — can sometimes give Western-trained scientists a new way to look at their own fields.

It may seem odd that a religious leader is so involved with science, but Buddhist teachings stress the importance of understanding reality, and so we should pay attention to what scientists have learned about our world through experimentation and measurement.

Similarly, Buddhists have a 2,500-year history of investigating the workings of the mind. Over the millenniums, many practitioners have carried out what we might call “experiments” in how to overcome our tendencies toward destructive emotions.

I have been encouraging scientists to examine advanced Tibetan spiritual practitioners, to see what benefits these practices might have for others, outside the religious context. The goal here is to increase our understanding of the world of the mind, of consciousness, and of our emotions.

It is for this reason that I visited the neuroscience laboratory of Dr. Richard Davidson at the University of Wisconsin. Using imaging devices that show what occurs in the brain during meditation, Dr. Davidson has been able to study the effects of Buddhist practices for cultivating compassion, equanimity or mindfulness. For centuries Buddhists have believed that pursuing such practices seems to make people calmer, happier and more loving. At the same time they are less and less prone to destructive emotions.

According to Dr. Davidson, there is now science to underscore this belief. Dr. Davidson tells me that the emergence of positive emotions may be due to this: Mindfulness meditation strengthens the neurological circuits that calm a part of the brain that acts as a trigger for fear and anger. This raises the possibility that we have a way to create a kind of buffer between the brain’s violent impulses and our actions.

Experiments have already been carried out that show some practitioners can achieve a state of inner peace, even when facing extremely disturbing circumstances. Dr. Paul Ekman of the University of California at San Francisco told me that jarring noises (one as loud as a gunshot) failed to startle the Buddhist monk he was testing. Dr. Ekman said he had never seen anyone stay so calm in the presence of such a disturbance.

Another monk, the abbot of one of our monasteries in India, was tested by Dr. Davidson using electroencephalographs to measure brain waves. According to Dr. Davidson, the abbot had the highest amount of activity in the brain centers associated with positive emotions that had ever been measured by his laboratory.

Of course, the benefits of these practices are not just for monks who spend months at a time in meditation retreat. Dr. Davidson told me about his research with people working in highly stressful jobs. These people — non-Buddhists — were taught mindfulness, a state of alertness in which the mind does not get caught up in thoughts or sensations, but lets them come and go, much like watching a river flow by. After eight weeks, Dr. Davidson found that in these people, the parts of their brains that help to form positive emotions became increasingly active.

The implications of all this are clear: the world today needs citizens and leaders who can work toward ensuring stability and engage in dialogue with the “enemy” — no matter what kind of aggression or assault they may have endured.

It’s worth noting that these methods are not just useful, but inexpensive. You don’t need a drug or an injection. You don’t have to become a Buddhist, or adopt any particular religious faith. Everybody has the potential to lead a peaceful, meaningful life. We must explore as far as we can how that can be brought about.

I try to put these methods into effect in my own life. When I hear bad news, especially the tragic stories I often hear from my fellow Tibetans, naturally my own response is sadness. However, by placing it in context, I find I can cope reasonably well. And feelings of helpless anger, which simply poison the mind and embitter the heart, seldom arise, even following the worst news.

But reflection shows that in our lives much of our suffering is caused not by external causes but by such internal events as the arising of disturbing emotions. The best antidote to this disruption is enhancing our ability to handle these emotions.

If humanity is to survive, happiness and inner balance are crucial. Otherwise the lives of our children and their children are more likely to be unhappy, desperate and short. Material development certainly contributes to happiness — to some extent — and a comfortable way of life. But this is not sufficient. To achieve a deeper level of happiness we cannot neglect our inner development.

The calamity of 9/11 demonstrated that modern technology and human intelligence guided by hatred can lead to immense destruction. Such terrible acts are a violent symptom of an afflicted mental state. To respond wisely and effectively, we need to be guided by more healthy states of mind, not just to avoid feeding the flames of hatred, but to respond skillfully. We would do well to remember that the war against hatred and terror can be waged on this, the internal front, too.

The Myth-Busting Continues: A Haunting in Connecticut, Part 3 – Wednesday, September 11, 2013

By Kirby Robinson

In the short history of our show, we’ve already brought into question the credibly of some well known psychic-mediums like Theresa Caputo and Sylvia Browne, and TV ministers like Jim Bakker and Cindy Jacobs. We’ve also shown the fakery of PRS [Paranormal Research Society] and the exorcist Andrew Calder.

This week we’ll go where few, if any, radio programs have ever gone. We’ll shine the spotlight on what most consider the most compelling cases of demonic activity and ghost haunting in recent history.

The Amityville Horror/Haunting. In 1976, the world was gripped by the news coming out of Amityville, New York as the Lutz family fled from their home after living there for 28 days. They’d become victims of such severe demonic attacks the whole story could not be told. Noted ghost hunters and demon chasers Ed and Lorraine Warren became part of the story. Due to the popularity of The Exorcist, the public couldn’t get enough. The legend grew as countless movies and books came out. But the truth was buried and the lies were told to cover up the fact that nothing paranormal happened in the house.

The Haunting in Connecticut case focuses on demonic activity taking place in a house that had formerly been a funeral parlor. It was surmised that workers took part in necrophilia [sex with dead people] and necromancy [raising the dead]. When the parlor went out of business the spirits of the dead stayed along with a host of demons.

In the 1980s, the Snedekers moved into the home so Carmen, the mother, could take her cancer stricken son to a nearby hospital for daily treatment. Almost as soon as the family moved in the haunting began. Ed and Lorraine Warren along with John Zaffis were called in to investigate the case. It was brought to a close once an exorcism was performed.

Unlike the Amityville case, this one had the benefit of the internet and the growing interest in the paranormal to help build up lots of smoke. The books and a successful movie stoked the fires but has the truth ever been told? Have independent researchers ever had a chance to look at the evidence?

The case behind The Conjuring. Not since The Exorcist has a horror film that had any ties to a real case [outside of maybe the Texas Chainsaw Massacre] captured the attention of America. The Perron family moved into an historic home in rural Rhode Island, enduring 10 years of haunting by dark spirits.

Ed and Lorraine Warren once again play a part in it.

How legit are the case notes? Are the Warrens even legit?

Over the course of our 2 hours together, we’ll study as much information as we can. This is information that the supporters of these hoaxes DON’T want you to know.

Tune in learn the truth and make up your own mind.

As a weekly feature, Kirby will also share some book reviews and recommendations, as well as his infamous incredible "BAD BAD Thing Awards."

Showtime begins at 7 PM [PST] or 10 PM [EST].  See this page for more information:
