Exposing the Fraud of PRS & Ryan Buell, Part 2

By Kirby Robinson

Continued from

Due to a special report that will be running on Saturday, May 24, 2014, we're repeating a popular blog originally titled Paranormal State Keeps Milking the "I Am Six" Case Till It's Dry. This blog post was first published on the Eye on the Paranormal in July 2012.

We're back with part 2 of our report on the fakery and deceptions by PRS and the fake para-celebs who tagged along hoping to fatten their wallets, gain better name recognition within the paranormal entertainment industry, and spread more lies about demons and exorcisms.

Episode 47 "The Possession: Return of Six"

Like every other show in the reality programming field you gotta give the viewers something big to get those ratings. PRS/Paranormal State and a whole slate of para-celebs are about to give it to them in this hour-long episode.

In season 2 there was the controversial episode, “I Am Six” that involves a young woman acting as if she is possessed by a demon named Six. You might want to watch The Exorcism of Emily Rose and see how much of this case was stolen from this film. Keep in mind, the film is very loosely based on a real case. Much had been changed, including the location, which originally was in Germany.

In this episode, Ryan brings in Lorraine Warren and the latest go-to practitioner of exorcisms, Father Bob Bailey. It seems as if Andrew Calder hopefully got a sign from God that you get one, maybe two, passes on doing possibly fake exorcisms and then you're out of luck.

Voiceover by Ryan added later during post productions when he tells the team to be prepared.

When Ryan enters the master bedroom there is a dog on the bed. That's no big deal but it is if the same dog was being held as the home owner is showing the team the house. Looks like the scene was shot out of order.

The client is in the basement wearing a tan sweater, and then they are in the kitchen and she's wearing an olive green jacket.

When Chip arrives Ryan is suddenly in a different outfit and Chad has popped up out of nowhere. Notice how Chad and Chip are hanging out and Chad appears to have difficulty keeping a smile off his face as he asks Chip: "You feeling something?"

During Dead Time, Ryan's hoodie suddenly appears on him and the shot of him and Chad in the bedroom does not match one cut Chad is on one side of the bed with Ryan. In the next they stand on different sides of the bed.

During the evidence review session there are four noted errors. 1. Ryan has no hoodie on then suddenly there it is. 2. There is an unidentified person in the room. 3. When Chip is asked a question by Ryan it is added in post production and Chip is not even in the same room. The shots and lighting don't match. The couch that Chip is sitting on is not even in the same room they are in. 4. The review is supposed to be at night but it is clearly daytime.

If Ryan had driven up to the home he would had seen the river due to its close proximity. Why does he have to ask where the river is?

When Ryan is speaking to the nameless male "Occult Expert" on the phone, notice the cuts don't match and that Ryan looks as though he's pretending to take notes. Why not talk to fellow team member Eilfie—that's her title. Or Michelle Belanger? Or Lorraine Warren? Also, the information he receives from the mysterious Occult Expert is nothing more than discussing Book of Leviticus in the Bible. Finally, why are mental health issues attributed to the demonic?

When Ryan goes to the site of the suicide we learn that he gave out false information in the case briefing. Donna didn't throw herself off of a cliff but she walked out into the water. He's wearing Day 1 clothing and this is well into Day 2.

It is very difficult to see who is doing director's log as the hood of the jacket is pulled up over the person's head and their back is kept to the camera through the entire shot. The team sets up for the experiment from 7:42 to 8:50 PM. During this time, Ryan changes his shirts back to the one he wore on Day 1.

The Moundsville comment was plain silly compared to what Ryan says next. It is actually quite sad and ego-driven. Ryan states that this case came about to bring them close to Quincy, Illinois so they could respond to Lara's needs.

Let's examine his statement in more depth.

1. It's been at least six months since the team had visited Lara. From postings onParanormal State's board, things didn't improve for Lara. At the end of "I Am Six" the audience is led to believe that her problems were solved. Why had the team not returned to Lara's home to help the family? Why had Ryan not used his influence with the Catholic Church to have a real exorcist come to the home and perform a full rite? If Ryan had ever been a part of a real one he would know it would take days or even weeks to complete a genuine exorcism.

2. On a deeper level, he implies that the family in Kent, Kentucky was put through a demonic haunting and a death of a family member, so Ryan would be called to that location at that time.

Notice two things about the team's arrival. 1. Barb, the mother, greets the team and is well dressed. She shows no signs of stress and no evidence that she had just battled a demon. 2. Observe Lara's "black eye." Freeze the DVD and take a close look. Do you see any swelling at all? Remember, this just had happened a few hours ago yet there's no major discoloring, no real bruising nothing that you would link to a black eye. It looks like shades of yellow, dark blue and black eye shadow. Also, if Lara was being choked, why aren't there any markings on her neck?

Ryan says to Lara, "You know why we're here, right?" He smiles.

Also, Lara's name is now spelled Lara in this episode.

8:58 PM Interview with Client's Parents. This is where they discuss the fight they had with the demon last night. The mother describes the scenario: "It had grabbed her and was starting to pull her up from the end of the bed and started to suspend her from her ankles upside down in the air." Imagine that! Where's the pictorial evidence? If Lara is being suspended in mid-air upside down, that would be headline news. Not just for Quincy, Illinois or Chicago, but nationally and internationally. She would be on CNN, BBC, you name it.

During the client interview notice that Chad is next to Ryan and then he disappears.

We then have Ryan taking Chad on a tour of the home, pointing out alleged sites of major demonic attacks on Lara. In the "I Am Six" episode are we presented with any real proof of these things happening?

1 The marks on her back don't happen while others are around. The marks are only on her back; none on the face or arms. They aren't deep enough to draw blood, nor will they cause permanent scarring.

2 They show the top of the laundry chute. Where is the proof that she ever fell down the laundry chute? We see no pictures.

3 Again, where is the proof that she was wedged inside the chute? There's a shot of the bottom of the laundry chute. Where is the pictorial evidence that she was ever crammed inside it?

Chad claims that something pushed him much like in the "Church of the Damned" episode when Ryan says he was pushed.

But Ryan is too busy changing into a hoodie again to give Chad a hand.

We need to take a close look at the odd business concerning the names of the demon[s] that are supposedly possessing the girl. It is a common practice during the deliverance ceremony to inquire directly to the demon the names of the demon/demons that possess the individual. They seem to be avoiding avoid performing the deliverance ceremony, because one is never done.

The source of these names is Chip Coffey the same person that introduced the world to Ryan’s personal demon back in season 1's "The Name" episode.

We jump to the outside of the house where Chip and Ryan are discussing names. Chip holds a small note pad containing the list of six demonic names. These are not just any names, but some of the top-ranking demons. It's very interesting to note that one particular name is absent, and that is the name of Ryan's personal demon. In fact, this is one who's ranked right behind the leadership of the forces of darkness.

But what's even odder is the list itself. Freeze frame the shot and you will see six names. But watch when they do a close up – you'll see only five names on the list. So, are there five or six? Apparently, they aren't sure of one of the names, as on both pages one has a question mark next to it.

The captions claim it is 10:47 as they start bringing in the para-celebs and setting things up. Notice that Ryan walks by a clock that reads 8:47.

As the following scenes unfold it changes from light to dark outside as the shots are mismatched.

Notice how Lara's "black" eye is beginning to fade and in some shots it's almost gone.

Where is Chad when they're performing the exorcism on Lara? Chad is not in the room. Isn't Chad supposed to be helping film the actual exorcism? DVD TIMELINE 29:55 -- watch the right hand side of your screen and see the window. Who's there? Chad! He walks by, glances inside, sees the exorcism, and hurries back inside. Can we say gotcha? Especially in the next scene after Chad talks to Ryan about getting shots of Lara when he was outside, and not inside.

One wonders where did the Lorraine and Chip go? Lorraine disappears from the episode and Chip is only seen in the background in a few shots.

When Ryan gives his big battle speech and takes part in the experiment he wears a dark t-shirt but when there is a big ruckus upstairs he rushes up the stairs, now wearing a coat.

Did Lara's black eye appear to be a makeup job? DVD TIMELINE 30:32 there's no black eye. At various times in this episode, it's more prominent than others. Observe that she has a Band-Aid over her left eyebrow. All the makeup on Lara's face is gone leaving no black eye. This is very obvious in the final shot. DVD TIMELINE: 41:04 there is no black eye and the Band-Aid is gone.

UPDATE: While doing research on the book we came across this letter posted onto the PRS message boards reportedly written by Barb, Lara's mother. She addresses what has happened to Lara and her family since the second exorcism. If this letter is true, it's a heartbreaking story. It raises some very serious questions about the amount of responsibility that PRS shows to their clients.

PRS promises to help them. But should that help end as soon as the cameras stop rolling? As we have seen in the cases we've examined, some families do not find peace after the team leaves. Kelli Ryan, episode 27 "The Messenger" didn’t. Eric and Lisa, the family from episode 29 "The Glove", reported a chair sliding across the floor a week after the team left.

You read about a family reporting being terrorized by demons and the team will battle with them only to have the demons return two weeks later. More than a year has passed and Lara remains haunted by demon/s. When did Ryan return or present her case to the Catholic Church to arrange for a full exorcism? Did he invite Chip, Lorraine Warren, or Father Bob Bailey to return? They were guests of the show but PRS clearly has a responsibility to bring these issues to a close. Has Ryan given up hope as he claimed Lara was a case of perfect possession? What is perfect possession? It would mean that Lara would have completely given herself over to the demons and want them to remain. Her behavior would be far worse than anything the actor Charlie Sheen had been engaging in with the drugs, alcohol and porn stars. Also, Lara wouldn't bathe, she would incessantly curse, and she would harm those around her, destroying their faith and demolishing religious objects. This kind of behavior is NOT evident in the episode you've just seen.

Barb's letter from October 21, 2009 can be found here:http://forums.pennstateprs.com/index.php?showtopic=20771&hl=

"Hello to everyone and God bless all of you. I'm just sending a brief note to explain Lara's upset, (she is ill with the flu right now and may not have handled this situation which has arisen as gracefully as possible). She received an e-mail where an individual made a rhetorical request for 'THE' Lara to answer the sender's questions, if she didn't mind. The sender only gave her about 14 hours to respond. She was 3 hours too late and the sender's questions were made public and were on the topic of providing proof, mainly medical in nature. Lara would have been willing to respond to the sender's email. Our family (Lara included) understands the topic of possession from the viewpoints of the skeptics, believers, and those who fall in between. There are some questions that we can answer and there are some that we legally can't because it may involve someone not in our family or a third party. We do feel that she, (and we), deserve some privacy. But, understand, all of our researchers do know her history and would not have investigated if she suffered from psychosis or dissociative disorder. She has had very thorough psychiatric evaluations, even from the Mayo Clinic, and does not have either - there is no medical explanation or disease that can explain what has happened.

"Also know that what was aired on Paranormal State was only forty or so minutes extracted from several days of investigation. The exorcism alone began in the afternoon and did not end until around midnight, or later. You have all seen only snippets of an ongoing serious situation. Most of what has happened here you know nothing of, and I can assure you, you don't want to know. But, as an example of one such well-documented incident was a rape that sent her to her gynecologist, (which he carefully noted in his files). She had second degree burns (and will always have the scars), on the inside of her thighs in the shape of fingerprints. She was cut and burned on the inside and smeared with ash, all of which her doctor was an eye-witness to. I saw this happen to her, so I solemnly give my word that it was not faked. She has been degraded and shamed every single way possible. She was scratched so many times on her back that her back dripped blood, as if she had been scourged. I also have scars from scratches that showed up on me whilst I was trying to help her. My son was sent to the emergency room afer experiencing a very agonizing and unexplainable pain in the region of the sternum, a pain that left us in fear that one of his arteries was dissecting. My husband, demanding of the demon to take him instead and leave Lara alone, immediately developed pneumonia that lasted for two months. When I say we all suffer and offer it for all of you, I am quite serious.

"I also would strongly advise, for your own safety, not to watch these episodes for hours nonstop. "They" are very cunning and have discovered how to use our own technology to their own advantage. The only proof that you will truly believe is when it happens to you. "Pure Evil, the Demonic, ot They" would be more that thrilled to oblige, but is that what you truly want? To live through what we are suffering? We are struggling very hard, all of us, to stay alive and sane through this mess. Is that what you want to feel? I personally care about all of you (Lara also cares, too) and do NOT want that for any of you. So, may God's angels surround and protect you, and may you never know what we have known.
Barb, (Lara's Mom)."

Paranormal Evidence Tally

1 Claims of Paranormal Activity: We have two cases here. The family in Kentucky claims that a demon caused a family member to commit suicide. The Illinois case is about Lara still being possessed by the demon that was haunting her in Season 2's "I Am Six" episode.
2 Proof of Paranormal Activity: None in either case.
3 Accuracy of Psychic: Kentucky episode: 3. Chip reveals some general details. Illinois episode: 2. Chip makes an effort. However, his accuracy takes a big hit when he comes up with the claim that, just like in the original episode, six demons are haunting Lara once again. In reality, there was only one demon that went by the name of Six.
4 Ryan Buell's Producer Credit: Consulting Producer
5 Demon Count: 00

February 2011 UPDATE: An on-set source for both the "I Am Six" and "The Possession: Return of Six" episodes came forward days before this book was completed. We felt the information they provided was significant enough to be included. More importantly, we have been able to confirm much of what they shared.

It seems that Lara had a fascination with the film, "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" and had watched it many times. As Emily Rose had six demons inside of her, in "I Am Six" Lara claims that the demon inside of her is named Six. In "Possession: Return of Six", Chip Coffey lists six different demons, just as in the movie. During the filming of both episodes Lara and her family were experiencing some very difficult times emotionally. And Lara viewed the possibility of experiencing an exorcism as a form of alternative therapy to help her deal with her troubles. She was never sure if the demon was real or comprised of things she had kept buried in her subconscious that were trying to emerge.

Exposing the Fraud of PRS & Ryan Buell, Part 1

By Kirby Robinson

Due to a special report that will be running on Saturday, May 24, 2014, we're repeating a popular blog originally titled "I Am Six" the Golden Goose of Ryan Buell & PRS. Later today, we'll be adding the second part. These blog posts were first published on the Eye on the Paranormal in July 2012.

Cancer is a sad and terrible thing for anyone to suffer; especially someone as young as Mr. Buell. The type he has is more often fatal, with a 4% survival rate at one year, and 0% after five years. We at the EYE ON THE PARANORMAL ask that everyone send their prayers to our GOD in heaven for the healing of Ryan Buell.

We won't allow any negative comments concerning Ryan's disease. But what we can't do is remain silent over a PRS Case Vault webinar that will be held on July 20 and 21. The subject is Paranormal State's well-known fake demonic possession case, "I Am Six" and its sequel, "The Possession: Return of Six." Those two episodes laid the foundation for the hordes of fake demon hunters that are running loose in the paranormal community and the church today. Those two cases spawned so many lies, deceptions, and distortions of how to confront the demonic.

For $75, you'll get two programs that allegedly contain more shocking information about this case from PRS and other eyewitnesses. Why is it that PRS never does anything for free? Let's do a little math. If they get 100 people willing to pay $75, they've earned $7,500.

1,000 = $75,000

5,000 = $375,000

10,000 = $750,000

For no charge at all, we're sharing our in-depth look at both episodes, right from the pages of our book, Paranormal State Exposed. Due to the length, we'll concentrate on "I Am Six" here and the sequel in the next blog post.

We're open for a genuine debate by someone from PRS about the misconduct of Ryan and his team. However, we're not holding our breath that anyone is brave enough to come forward. You see, lies can never stand up to the light of truth.

However, if we do get a response, we'll share it with you.

Season 2, Episode 32 "I Am Six"

The “I Am Six” episode focuses on a young lady by the name of Lara, living in Quincy, Illinois with her family. The 26-year-old is allegedly being attacked by demonic forces. Her name is spelled Laura even though that's not the correct spelling.

Observe Ryan’s face, particularly the right cheek area, in the opening sequence at the church. Notice there is no pimple there at that time. This issue will be brought up as we progress through analyzing this section.

The case briefing in the church takes place at 10:26 AM Day 1. They then travel to the home, make introductions; set things up, and begin to tour the house by 11:33 AM.

Lara greets them at the door; we see no sign of trouble or discomfort at all. She even gives them the impression that she’s excited for them to be there—especially Ryan.

Barbara, the mother, states with little or no emotion in her voice, that the first time Lara saw the black shadow, which by the way is never referred to again, that Lara got hit in the stomach and couldn’t breathe for over one hour.

Lara makes claims that writing and scratches appear on her skin periodically, yet none are present at the time of filming. And we’re told that about 10 days prior to their arrival there had been scratches of a pentagram on her skin, yet there are no visible signs, nor are there any photos.

We learn that Lara claims to have been sucked down a laundry chute. Again, no proof or offering of injuries.

The house tour starts at 11:33 and lasts until at least 4:10 PM. Ryan is wearing a dark shirt. We then jump back in time to 2:37. Ryan is talking to Lara who’s now minus her glasses.

We are told that an EVP caused the entity to come in, yet we never actually hear the EVP.
It's now 3:48 PM. Ryan's talking to the mom, who’s not wearing the same outfit that she had on at 4:10. Notice how she sells the story with the phrase “All the time.” The mom adds that there is constant mayhem within the house but during the entire four days nothing happens while the cast and crew are present.

At 4:28 PM Ryan interviews Bob, the father, and Ryan’s had time to change from a dark shirt. Notice how calm the dad is and how he emphasized that his daughter could be a great artist, maybe even a star. This exchange is intercut with a shot of Lara reading a magazine in the kitchen showing no ill effects at all.

At 5:03 PM Ryan has changed back into his dark shirt for an evidence hearing. Eilfie and Sergey, who don't claim to have medical training, determine that Lara could not write on the inside of her thigh, nor on the inside of her arm. How difficult would it be to scratch yourself there? Also, they don’t take into account that someone else could have done it for Lara. Notice the markings never take place on her face or any area on her body that couldn’t be concealed with clothing.

Chip Coffey arrives at 9:56 PM and does his walkthrough. Now it’s supposed to be night but you can clearly see daylight in numerous shots.

Chip claims that the demon has a very dirty mouth, yet he is the only person who uses foul language during the entire episode. Here are direct quotes:
"Get rid of all this ****** religious stuff!"
"More religious ****!"
"Get the f*** out of MY house!"
"I'll kill the bitch!"
"It ****** her in the bathtub!"
"It just scared the **** outta me!"

They find a phrase scratched into the wooden floor in the closet. Again, the scratches are done where no one would see it and be an embarrassment to the family. In addition, note that Ryan’s voiceover is not done at the same time the shot is made.

At the start of Day 2, Ryan, who’s still wearing clothes from Day 1, points out to Eilfie the scratches on the floor. At 11:36 AM Heather calls a German translator but it’s clearly nighttime outside.

At 3:11 PM Heather interviews the former homeowner who informs her that one person had died in the house.

At 5:05 Heather informs the PRS team that two deaths happened on the property. Yet that’s not what the former homeowner said. Again, Ryan is still wearing clothing from the first day.

Ryan calls Reverend Calder at night of Day 2, and he flies in from Atlanta, Georgia at 9:49 PM. Or was he waiting in a nearby hotel?

It’s 3 AM Dead Time. Lara is sleeping with her glasses on. And what is this mysterious illness that she’s supposed to have? Please don’t forget they asked the parents to leave the home.

In the upstairs bedroom, Ryan, Chip, and Reverend Calder are arranged one way in one shot, and in the next the Reverend is in a different area of the bed so the camera guy could get a clear shot of Chip and the doorknob incident. Did anyone see the doorknob turn other than Chip? Also notice that numerous shots from this Dead Time are done in daylight and an attempt is made to block out the sun as much as possible.

Lara is supposedly attacked in the bathroom while she is alone. And Eilfie asks, where’s Ryan? As if she has no idea where he’d be at that time. Ryan's wearing his shirt from Day 1. In the very next shot the mother inexplicably appears in the bathroom, yet the family had been asked to vacate their home.

We see six scratch marks on Lara’s back and we learn that the demon’s name is Six.

There’s a voiceover of Chip and Lara done during the exorcism. We’re given the impression that it happened then. The mother claims that it scratched I AM SIX on her back in the past. Where is the proof? Also take note that both outfits that Lara and her mother are wearing are the same outfits they wore during Day 1 and we’re nearing the end of Day 2.

Day 3 starts off with a call at 12:20 PM to Lorraine Warren. This call is done on a different day than the rest of the episode. Look at the dark pimple on Ryan’s face; it’s hardly noticeable that day and in future scenes.

There's an identical shot with the father, and the scene is set exactly the same way. Both Ryan and the dad wear the same clothing from two days ago. What they discuss is a scene taken verbatim from The Exorcism of Emily Rose where she becomes totally rigid while in the bedroom.

The interview with the psychologist is done poorly. Ryan seems to know very little about what diseases could be misinterpreted as demonic possession, and he fails to ask the proper questions concerning this.

The family doesn’t react in a shocked manner when they learn of a possible exorcism rite being done—it’s almost as if they’re wanting and/or anticipating it. Notice that we’re in the evening of Day 3 and Ryan is wearing the same shirt as in the beginning of Day 1.

For a young lady facing a pending exorcism, Lara is very calm, her hair and makeup are flawless, and she’s posed very provocatively on her bed toward Ryan and Reverend Calder. She already has a red nose at the beginning of the scene, indicating she’d been crying. Was this even her first take? The shot wasn’t done at night but in the daytime. Watch the transition to the next scene.

Ryan tells us that he must enter a state of grace. What he doesn’t say is that every single person connected to the exorcism must enter a state of grace and how they indicate you go about it is totally wrong.

We now come to Exorcism Day. You’ll notice the shutters in the living room switch from open to closed at will.

The EMT is shown once and disappears for the duration of the episode. Ryan’s shirt has gone back to his Day 1 shirt, which is when the exorcism presumably was filmed.

We’re told the exorcism starts at 3 PM but notice the scanner that Ryan uses reads 4:01 PM. They cut and spliced numerous scenes together for a complete exorcism. Suddenly, it’s 6 PM according to their clock.

A big deal is made about it raining. What they don’t tell you is that it rained off and on throughout that day. Here's the link to the Farmer’s Almanac.

On July 18th, 2008, the weather station (QUINCY MUNI BALDWIN FLD, IL), reported the following conditions:
High Temp: 88°F
Low Temp: 68°F
Average Temp: 78°F
Dewpoint: 66.2F
Wind Speed: 4.6 Knots
Precipitation Amount: 0.03 Inches
Observations: Rain/Drizzle, Thunder

Now, it’s 4:45 and sunny. Ryan walks out of the house to talk to Lorraine Warren, yet we’re told it’s 7 PM when he goes outside.

It’s 11 PM and Chip has moved into the living room to take control of the exorcism. Suddenly, it’s sunny outside again.

The worst thing that the demon can do throughout the whole episode is call the poor girl "sleazy." Also, notice how her hair changes from being up to down, neat to messy.

The clock is moving backwards because we’re supposed to be at 11 PM but it’s back to 5 PM.
It’s Chip who decides she’s not breathing, from across the room. What happened to the EMT? And notice how Ryan pops around the room. Suddenly we see it’s 10:55. They keep splicing the show to make it appear more exciting. Observe, at the very end of the exorcism, how Chip pushes aside Reverend Calder, in order to have the final word. Remember, Chip was the one who declared in “The Name” episode that he was neither a demonologist nor an exorcist.

When Chip walks through the house for the final check, it’s daylight outside.

Two weeks after the PRS cast and crew left Lara had a negative reaction to holy water. The sad story continues in season 3.

We need to step away from our presentation of letting the viewer decide what is real and what isn't. There was and is no haunting. There was and is no demonic presence, whatsoever. Due to the vast number of errors in the way this "exorcism" is portrayed, and the harm that could come to pass if the public accepts this gross distortion. Kirby goes on record to say that in his professional opinion, this episode is fake.

Why was this episode aired? What we have are two groups.

~ 1 Paranormal Research Society and Paranormal State
~ 2 Lara and her family. Both groups have common needs. They want an exciting show, they know the formula of Demons + Exorcism = Ratings. Lara is seeking publicity and a desire to be in the media spotlight.

The film The Exorcism of Emily Rose provides an opportunity for the pair to achieve their goals. Watch the film and see how it’s an accurate depiction of how possession happens. You’ll also see some terrifying things from Emily’s perspective. It’s interesting to note that the demon in the film and the TV episode both say "I Am Six." Notice how similar some scenes are within the movie and the TV episode.

In addition, there have been two claims made by Lara’s family and Paranormal State.

~1 No paranormal group would help the family within the Quincy area. After checking with various groups in the region, most weren’t contacted. Those who were checked it out and found no evidence of a haunting.

~2 They claim the Catholic Church dropped the case. What they don’t tell you is why. Also, none of the local charismatic churches were contacted to come in and assist the family.

If Ryan Buell, as well as Father Calder, had ever been a part of or witnessed a real exorcism, they would’ve realized that what they were presenting was far from the truth in procedural matters as well as the way Lara acted claiming she was possessed.

~ 1 Ryan talks about holy ground when he first addresses the team. Ryan should know that demons, as well as their leadership, have access to all holy places. So just being in a church doesn’t prevent you from being attacked by a demonic spirit.
~ 2 When Lara greets the team does she show any signs of discomfort or pain? None at all. She seems to be very happy to be on camera.
~ 3 Notice that there are religious symbols throughout the house and her mom is even wearing crosses as earrings. Yet Lara shows no discomfort towards those objects.
~ 4 The pentagram has nothing to do with demons.
~ 5 Why were no religious items placed in or under Lara’s bed to see if any discomfort took place?
~ 6 Father Andrew Calder does a walkthrough but no in-depth interview with Lara.
~ 7 When Lorraine Warren is talking to Ryan on the phone she says something not true about the legion story from the Bible. Legion was not the name of the demon -- the demon was simply saying that legion, defined as many, means that many demons were in the person.
~ 8 Ryan violates one of his own church’s rules when it comes to determining if an exorcism is even required. It states that all mental illnesses must be ruled out. The psychologist says that it is possible that Lara has a dissociative disorder.
~ 9 Father Calder should have spent time in prayer and meditation prior to jumping onto the idea of demonic possession.
~ 10 Father Calder should have gone through a time of Biblical fasting to prepare himself for the exorcism.
~ 11 The State of Grace that Ryan talks about is not something that is quickly or easily done in just a few minutes. Nor is it something you can do with a few lighted candles. But it takes in depth soul searching, prayer, and a complete confession of all sins that have taken place within your life. Each and every person in the house, including Lara’s family and the entire cast and crew, would be required to do the same.
~ 12 The exorcism room should have had ALL the furniture completely removed and the windows boarded up.
~ 13 Lara’s family should not have been allowed in the room.
~ 14 Father Calder does not have any assistance in the exorcism.
~ 15 Does Lara show any signs of real discomfort in the exorcism? She draws a pentagram in the air, which means nothing to a demon. Lara’s voice doesn’t change, nor do her physical features contort.
~ 16 Chip should not have interrupted the exorcism.
~ 17 Lara shows no spiritual knowledge of past or future events relating to anyone—especially Father Calder. There is no vulgarity, spitting, vomiting, defecation, flatulence, or urination.
~ 18 Chip interrupts the exorcism a second time.
~ 19 Never does the demon engage the exorcist in a battle of will, logic, or faith. Nor does the demon ever challenge its authority to be there.
~ 20 Chip is not allowed to touch the person being that he is not actually a part of the exorcism. By doing so, he denigrates the spiritual authority of Father Calder.
~ 21 In the post interview of Lara she shows no ill effects or spiritual changes that accompany a person who has been demonically possessed. The possession itself changes the person forever.

NOTE: Requiem [2006], a subtitled German film also influenced the "I Am Six" episode. This film is about: "An epileptic girl suffers a breakdown during her first year at university, then decides to seek help from a priest in battling the troubles associated with her strict upbringing."

Thousands Welcome His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Oslo

Oslo, Norway, 7 May 2014 - His Holiness the Dalai Lama arrived in Oslo where the questions he was to be asked many times was - what did he feel about the Norwegian Governments declining to meet him?

He replied that such responses have become normal, that he accepts things as they are.

"National interest is important, but I can assure you that the Dalai Lama is not a harmful person. My interest is to meet the public to promote human values, our need to see all 7 billion human beings as members of one family. In the face of major problems, we have to consider what benefits the whole world, not just this country or that. In the long run, we must bring principles and human values to bear in whatever we do, whether it involves politics, business, religion or education. If I had a political agenda, I might feel disappointed, but I don't."

He met with the former Norwegian Prime Minister and the Chairman of the Nobel Committee who noted that it was 25 years since he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of his efforts to bring freedom by non-violence to the Tibetan people.

Asked whether he considered the Peace Prize as a blessing or a curse His Holiness replied, "Of course, as a blessing. I remember Archbishop Desmond Tutu, my friend and spiritual brother telling me how difficult it was for him to meet some people before, which became much easier after he was awarded the prize. I was in California attending a conference of scientists when I heard the announcement and I was asked how I felt. I said, 'Not much different, I am a simple Buddhist monk, no more, no less.' But since the prize was in recognition of my commitment to non-violence and my work for peace, I felt it was a great honour.

"Later, when Aung San Suu Kyi and Liu Xiaobo were awarded the Peace Prize and they were in difficult circumstances, I felt it would have been a source of encouragement and inspiration for them."

Asked whether he was disappointed that members of the Norwegian government and the Speaker of parliament would not be meeting him, he replied:

"No, why? My main interest is in the promotion of human values. From birth we have a sense of affection and some sense of concern for others. We need to nurture it. Scientists have found that to ensure even physical health peace of mind is essential. People often think that love and compassion are only matters of religious concern, but in fact such values are necessary in all human relations. As a Buddhist monk, I am also interested in fostering inter-religious harmony.

"Wherever I go my aim is to meet the public. If leaders like President Obama meet with me that's fine, but I don't ever want to put anyone to any inconvenience. When I arrived here today, I was happy to see the large number of ordinary people who came. The world belongs to all of us, not just to our leaders.

When His Holiness was asked whether China's increasing influence was able to limit his and the Tibetan government-in-exile's work, he clarified that he does not refer to the Central Tibetan Administration, which looks after the Tibetan community, in that way. But he laughed and remarked that it seems the more the Chinese government criticize him, the more his popularity grows.

To a question about whether it seems easier or more difficult to resolve differences with the Chinese authorities since he was awarded the Peace Prize, he said that it is nearly 70 years since the formation of the People's Republic of China. Over that period he perceives different eras. So, you see, the same party, with the same ideology has shown that it can adapt to a changing reality. As China opens up, as its students study abroad and are exposed to freedom and a lack of censorship, things are bound to change. Wen Jiabao said China needs political reform, even US style democracy."

On the question of support for human rights in China and Tibet, His Holiness expressed the view that smaller countries, like Norway, may wield more influence because they are not perceived as a threat.

When asked about the 130 self-immolations that have taken place in Tibet, His Holiness said it is very sad and repeated that these drastic actions should be investigated by the Chinese authorities and not blame His Holiness and his supporters.

A journalist mentioned that as a Nobel Laureate, His Holiness is entitled to nominate others to be awarded the Peace Prize and asked if he had done so. His Holiness laughed and said he thought it was the Committee's job to do that. Asked if he thought he would still be able to visit Tibet and the PRC in this life, he replied that if he lives another 15 or 20 years he hopes so, but if he only lives another one or two years there may not be a chance.

"Anyway, if I am able to go, I hope that journalists like all of you will be able to come too."

Paranormal Ambush Smackdown, Part 3

By Kirby Robinson

Continued from:

Chip Coffey, Andréa Perron, John Zaffis and George Lopez speak lies and seek to mislead the public.

Today we'll start breaking down the two hours of lies the above four fake para-celebrities took part in on the recent radio ambush. But first, here are some related topics that you might find interesting.

Chip Coffey Hates Ambush Interviews …
… only when they are about him. Chip has no issues taking part in one.

A few years ago, Chip got wind that he might be the victim of such an event on Eerie Radio. What did he do? He went on the warpath. "How dare anyone do this to anyone!" he cried.

Guess the rule is that he can direct others to ambush for him---can we say double standard?

ALL Spiritual Paths Lead to Heaven Say Coffey & Perron!

Okay, let's put that statement to a test.

On night one, the public heard a healthy, or should we say unhealthy, dose of new age thinking. When I expressed any traditional Christian thinking, my beliefs were condemned. I said that only through Christ could we get into heaven. They also didn’t believe that the Muslim religion is one of violence rather than peace.

Here's what the Bible says about Christians going to heaven.
John 14 New International Version (NIV)
Jesus Comforts His Disciples
14 “Do not let your hearts be troubled You believe in God believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am You know the way to the place where I am going.”
Jesus the Way to the Father
5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life." No one comes to the Father except through me.7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” 8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” 9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me. The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves;" in me will do the works I have been doing and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask" in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

John 14 is plain to most Christians that we must go through the Son, not through Allah, or Joseph Smith or one of the millions of Hindu Gods. Only through Christ. Will I say I'm sorry for this thinking? No. When you go to the "all spiritual paths lead to heaven teaching being true" then God had no need to send His Son to die for us.

I realize that all spiritual paths leading to heaven theory sounds so cool. Do you realize what you're saying. So, what about Muslims murdering in the name of Allah? "...a Christian mother pregnant with her second child in Sudan was convicted of adultery and apostasy for marrying a Christian man. The punishment: 100 lashes and death, in that order." Full story here: http://www.charismanews.com/opinion/43882-the-christian-persecution-story-even-the-secular-media-can-t-ignore

The above is not uncommon throughout the Middle East. If things don't change some say there won't be any Christians left in the Middle East. How is this path going to lead one to heaven?

Here is a story about an L.A. guru, Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh who is popular with the young people.

Will teachings on drugs, sex, and bio-terrorism lead one to heaven?

What about the FLDS? "FLDS members not approved into the United Order are asked to leave their families and repent in hope that FLDS leadership will eventually choose them for the United Order; United Order members are expected to consecrate all their property over to the FLDS Church. Membership status therefore is relevant to show, among other things, motives of government officials to appease FLDS leadership." Read more here:

Sign everything over to the new United Order so you can buy your way into heaven? That's unlikely. We could go the KKK route as they have a religion and claim you can get into heaven by hate.

While all spiritual paths lead to heaven may seem like a nice sounding new age teaching, once you fill it up to see if it holds water it leaks from top to bottom.
