Hello my para beauties! I trust you've had a wonderful weekend. A lot of this in my humble opinion of what I interpret the bible to be stating. By no means do I claim to state anything is fact. Only God knows when the 2nd coming is and what other details take place in these events.
What exactly is Armageddon? Is it a place or an event? It takes place during the Apocalypse. Who will take part in it? What does the Bible really say? Over 1,900 years ago, while exiled on an island off the Greek coast, the apostle John recorded what would happen, culminating in our time. In vision, he was taken forward in time into the “Lord’s Day” (Rev. 1:10) and was given messages regarding “...things which are, and things which shall be hereafter” (1:19).
Most of what John saw in vision was foreign to him. He had to record things in a way that could be understood. For instance, how would someone from the first century describe a helicopter gunship? What about a jet—or nuclear explosion? Jesus would have inspired him to use symbols or items familiar to him. The prophet Daniel spoke of “the TIME OF THE END.” The apostle Peter said, “there shall come in the LAST DAYS scoffers.” Paul said, “In the LAST DAYS perilous times shall come.”…some may say John wasn't in his right right mind being locked up so very long however, what if you are wrong? What then?
The Bible foretells a period of seven trumpets blown, each heralding its own terrible event. Now in my last 2 blogs I spoke of the 7 trumpets/seals. Throughout history, trumpet blasts have been used as warnings of imminent danger, such as war or another calamity (Zeph. 1:16; Jer. 4:19; Ezek. 33:2-6).
However, the seventh (or last) trumpet will announce to the world that Jesus Christ is coming to establish God’s rule on Earth. Man’s way of governance is ending. Also heralded by this final trumpet are the seven last plagues (also bowls or vials of wrath) God will use to punish a rebellious mankind. Revelation describes seven angels who “pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth” (Rev. 16:1).
When the first vial is poured out, “there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast” (vs. 2). These belong to the great, false church-state system. (More on this in a moment.)
The second plague mirrors what the Egyptians suffered before the Exodus: “The second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea” (vs. 3).
The next three plagues involve the rivers and fountains turning to blood, the sun becoming so hot it scorches people, and darkness and pain becoming unbearable. After all these plagues, men will continue to “blaspheme the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repent not of their deeds” (vs. 11).
The last generation before Jesus’ Return is so vile and corrupt that God will subject them to the worst punishment possible—and they still will not repent.
The Important Sixth Plague
The sixth of the last plagues sets the stage for the final battle to resist Christ at His Return. Forces of spiritual wickedness—demons—are released to gather armies to bring about destruction and devastation on the inhabitants of Earth. Notice how these armies are able to gather: “The sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared” (Rev. 16:12).
The Euphrates River originates in Turkey and flows southeast through Syria and Iraq, finally reaching the Persian Gulf. God will cause this river to dry up, enabling, it says, the “kings of the east” to easily cross into the Holy Land. But this is just a prelude—the setting of the stage for even more significant events to come.
Apocalypse is actually the Greek Name for the word translated "Revelation" in the Bible. It is the name of the last book of the Bible. It earned its name because of its overal description of the world-changing events that occur during the timeline of this book.
Armageddon, is both a place and now referred to as an event. It is the largest battlefield on earth, where a future battle is foretold between the armies of the earth and the returning King of Glory Jesus Christ. It is said that the blood of these armies will run as deep as the reins of horses in some places, and that the fuel supplies will heat the homes of the Palestinians for 7 years. Also, the birds of the whole earth will gather to eat to their full on the flesh of the dead soldiers.

The Case Against Theresa Caputo the Long Island Medium

Because the sham of a show, Long Island Medium, is
returning to TLC for another season on March 9, we're running our original two-part
blog.
Americans are embracing psychics and mediums. Go to Google
and type in psychics and mediums-- you could spend 8 hours a day for a year, and
never visit every site on the Internet.
You can spend hundreds to thousands of dollars getting
a phone reading, Skype, and in person readings. You can attend gallery readings,
which is a group reading, and you're not even promised to receive one bit of
information from the other side.
The late Sylvia Browne is the former number one
psychic of record who has been featured on Larry
King Live and appeared frequently on The
Montel Williams Show. Ms. Browne has more than 50 books in print, 21 books
in audio format, and all her so-called nonfiction titles can't stand a serious
test of legitimacy. For example, her book "Afterlives of the Rich and
Famous" is impossible to fact check—she can make up any story. And she
does---as her books are simply flights of fantasy and fiction.
Why is this? Why has the public become so accepting of
these modern day snake oil salespeople?
- Rejection of God's message and embracing a feel good
new age false religion.
- Uncertain times force people to find sanctuary in
something. Some find it in drugs while others find it in people who will tell
them what they want to hear.
- Searching for the truth about life after death. Going
by what the psychics and mediums say, we can live any way we want. We can do
anything we want. We can think any way we want to and sin any way we want to. If
we accept their words, whether written in a book or spoken on TV, there will be
no price to pay. There is no hell, no punishment -- just a bright and sunny
afterlife.
- A society should embrace a learning process. Now,
everything is spoon-fed to us. Our ability to think, question, and engage in a
scientific manner has been reduced. If anyone on TV says it is so, then it is
so. If I read it on the Internet, it is so. If some "expert" appears
for a few minutes on Oprah or Ellen and says it is so – then it must
be so.
Like every other medium and psychic out there, The Long
Island Medium is a fake. She feeds on the emotionally needy and the spiritually
insecure. Like all the others, she increases her bank account by tricking her audience
that she has all the answers. She convinces her cult-like followers that she
has something called "the spirit" that feeds her the information that
you crave.
When I go to funerals, you won't see me cry. It's not
that I am heartless. It's due to my faith. I know the saved have gone on to
heaven. Why? Because that is what my faith teaches me. When the unsaved die,
they made the choice to go to hell. No matter how many prayers one would say,
no matter if some church baptizes them after death, that is where they are
going. It is clearly stated that way-- no doubts, no worries. But so many new
age "thinkers" are left in doubt. So, the new agers must turn to a
medium to find out where they are at and are they all right?
The Long Island Medium talks to "SPIRIT." [Some
Christians might say that is a demon feeding her information as they point out
she never talks about angels, she never sees God, only mentions "a
God" and the word Jesus never crossed her lips -- and they might be right].
What I've seen of her readings and our investigation
into her televised Florida road trip, we uncover her so-called talent for
talking to the dead.
Let me share a video from
the show "LIVE! with
Kelly and Michael" of a reading she
did with the audience and show how she tricks the audience.
Notice she's working with an audience of over 150
people. Medium or not, you can safely ask:
- Who here lost a child?
- Who here lost a husband, wife, parent, sibling, or a
grandparent?
- Who here lost a baby?
- Who here lost someone to cancer, AIDS, heart attack,
car accident, etc.
You're going to have hands shoot up because these
things happen. They're fairly common so you're going to get it right.
When they go out looking for an audience to fill their
studio they tell people who the guest is so she knows why people are there.
Earlier on, she had a long string of misses and she
had to come up with an explanation for it. She claimed it was confusion in
interpreting the signs that she received.
She goes for "who over here has lost a husband?"
and she sees several admitted widows. Notice that she goes over to an older
female time. Cue violins, it's time to yank the heartstrings. The next step is
to go into her cold readings mode, asking questions in such rapid-fire fashion
you fail to notice Theresa isn't really telling her anything but simply asking
questions.
Once she starts talking to the woman start counting
the seconds.
- She says, "People leave this world in many
different ways." The purpose of that statement is to fool the audience into
believing that Theresa is knowledgeable in the ways of the spirit world. Listen
to what comes up next.
- Theresa complements the woman for all the unselfish
things she did. That is what the widow wants to hear. Have you ever heard a
medium say, "Hey stupid, your husband says you were a lousy mother,
couldn't cook worth a damn, were lousy in the sack and I couldn't wait to die!"
- Have you been counting? If you have, then ask
yourself how could she be talking to the spirit of the dead man and never get a
name from him? When she starts to miss with the food questions, she has to
cover her tracks. These are signs and symbols she gets. She isn't wrong only
responding to the symbols that she's seen.
- She quickly breaks it off and goes to her next
reading. In reality, this isn't a reading but an endorsement of her abilities.
She tries, but fails, to get the audience to laugh. Again, no name is given.
- She tells the group that things she says might apply
to them even though she isn't looking at them. This gives the audience a false
sense that they got something from the session. In reality, they got nothing.
- She talks about a "blood illness" that is
head to toe and has something to do with the liver. Anatomy 101—blood
circulates throughout the entire body. All blood illnesses are head to toe and
all blood diseases impact the liver.
- She then asks who is being tested for other illnesses?
That's a very safe one to toss out as people are always being tested for
something.
- She talks about the blow to the chest cause in death.
It doesn’t pertain to those she reads for but it applies to those seated on the
other side of the studio. Then it goes from a blow to the chest to her father
died in front of her. The great message is don't feel bad about it! Who wouldn't
feel bad about something like that?
Notice that Theresa Caputo has a string of misses and
questionable hits so she decides to opt for humor to keep the viewer derailed
and bring in the hosts for a laugh.
Theresa tosses out the question, who lost a daughter?
No hits, so she jumps on to a brain aneurysm or Alzheimer’s [you don't die from
that illness]. A male reacts but she rejects him. Nope, it's a young good-looking
woman who takes advantage of the diseases beginning with the letter A. It's
easier to bring a woman to tears than a man. This woman accepts everything sent
her way, right up to the question "Do you have any of her clothing?" That's
a fairly safe one to ask, knowing that you'll get a yes. But when the Long
Island Medium starts to ask about recent deaths, it's a big miss and Theresa
breaks it off.
So let’s break down this so-called certified medium
readings down. [Ms. Caputo has been
certified by the Family Forever Foundation.]
1 Did she give us any names? No.
2 Dates? No.
3 Places? No.
We are left to ask this question--when people pass, do
they get dumber? Do they lose the ability to communicate with us? Are they
unable to speak clearly through mediums? If we go by what we see of the Long
Island Medium, they can show up but are unable to say who they are, whom they
are here to visit. The deceased person can't give their own name and the name
of the loved one, not do they give a clear message.
People will always ask how can people like this do
such things. Theresa Caputo is not unique in any way. She's just one more in a
long list of flavors of the month/year when it comes to fake psychics. She's
now in the company of The Amazing Kreskin, Uri Geller, Sylvia Browne, John Edwards,
and James Van Praagh. Whether they claim to be mind readers, magicians,
mentalists, or mediums they all have the same foundations.
1 They always claim that the gift came to them early
in life. Theresa Brigandi [maiden name] states that her gift always sent her
parents and brother into a crazy sort of ghost hunt. At times, it led to having
her father climb onto the roof of their home looking for things with green
scary eyes. This flies against what she now claims -- to have never seen
anything evil looking.
2 They always claim that they did not really use their
gift in life while they were children. Except as a way to entertain others.
3 Others always found them different.
4 They'll always find a mentor which in the case of
Theresa, was Pat Longo, a Long Island medium herself. Mrs. Longo claims that
she can heal you in person or over the phone for just $175. Here's her website:

In bold letters on Mrs. Longo's website, it says "…and in some God gave the gift of
healing."
That is found in the bible: 1 Corinthians 12
But nowhere will you find the passage: "And some
the gift of healing which you can charge $175."
Not to turn this into a Bible thumping blog, but the
moment money is connected to anyone carrying out the gifts of the spirit, it stops
being a genuine gift from God. The alleged gift of healing means that it's
either outright fakery or a gift from someplace other than heaven.
In the May 26th episode, Why Me, we learn that Pat had to deal with cancer and she had an
operation. She also mentions that her husband died from cancer five months ago.
Why she did not turn to her faith for healing? From the new age viewpoint, cancer
is caused by a negative spirit and/or negative energies being blocked at the
chakra points. This isn't something we'd expect from a healer.
We don't know if Theresa went to Pat and was told that
she was a medium or not. Or did she go to Pat and say you're making a killing
in this line or work, teach me how you fake it. I'll take a look at the view
that this so-called "spirit" they claim to talk to is a demonic one.
Additionally it seems that Pat feels she can teach
anyone to do what Theresa claims to do. That means it is not really a "gift"
at all but simply a trade like driving a truck or being a cook.
It seems her teaching days are over as of 6/15/13.
Further digging into the site leads us to a Wordpress
blog made up of even more wacky new age teachings on topics that were taught in
the new age world back in the 1980s.
But there was a blog that had an interesting title
which lead us to a question to even more of her claims. This is written by a
participant in one of Pat's healing sessions. The author writes about a
mishmash of new age and eastern topics and describes herself as a sensitive
soul.
7 Ways to raise
your Vibration: according to Pat Longo, Long Island Theresa
Caputo’s healer.
Pat apparently didn't tell TLC that she was a medium
[have you ever heard of a psychic telling their client he/she is not psychic when
asked?]. Anyway, she was/is Theresa's mentor as well as her healer. Therefore, the
Long Island Medium endorses people that take part in illegal activates.
Additionally, nowhere on the site is there any evidence of medical science
certifying that she is really a healer.
Pat seems she know how to make a buck as she appeared
on her student's show in the second episode of the past season. If you want to

Media, Movies, Creating, and the Supernatural

Good becomes evil, and evil
appears as good. The term "politically correct." The devil uses media
to push truths as lies. The Bible says we are created in God's image. God is a
creator. Ergo man likes to create too. From C. S. Lewis to Tolkien come worlds
that are populated by creations drawn from early mythology.
Man creates worlds too,
especially through various forms of storytelling (including books and movies),
we must be careful to discern where the ideas are coming from. And for what
purpose are we creating? Are we creating to magnify the glory of God or to
pervert it?
Jesus himself told stories,
the parables. Why? Because he understood we learn from what we can imagine,
hear or see. Stories and storytelling are a means to communicating a truth or
make a lie seem like a truth.
Through storytelling, we can
create different worlds, times, places, to allow us to understand something
about the life we are living.
How does this tie in with the supernatural?
Satan also uses storytelling
to convey the lies he would like us to see as truths. Some literature and
movies while harmless on the conscious level are extremely dangerous in their
underlying themes.
Some of the universal lies
that are popular in mainstream media are:
1) All roads lead to God
2) Do what thou wilt (The
devil's creed)
3) Death is just the stepping
stone to something better no matter what your belief system is
4) You will live another
earthly life; and have many chances to get it right
5) You don't need a Savior,
because you're really not bad
6) You are your own savior
and deep down you know it
I have read many books and
watched many movies that have at least one of these underlying themes. This is
one of the most devious paths the devil uses to influence are belief systems.
In many ways, horror movies come the closest to showing why we need a Savior,
and the real motive behind the supernatural creatures that choose to interact
with humans. Many people won't watch horror films, because they are scary. But
what the devil knows is: don't scare people, that drives them a way,
instead, entice them with what they want.
Nothing to me is more scary than appealing uplifting films that give a false
message saying you don't need a Savior. The road to death and hell is
unfortunately paved with really fun movies and books.

Dalai Lama Advises Business Leaders on Compassion
Speaking on the topic of "Incorporating Ethics and Compassion into Business Life" - a feat that perhaps only the Tibetan spiritual leader and Nobel laureate could unite in a sentence without inspiring an eye roll - His Holiness urged the 4,000 who filled the university's Leavey Center to focus on helping others instead of being "self-centered."
His stop in the valley - his last on a three-day visit to the Bay Area that has included appearances in San Francisco, Berkeley and Richmond - comes at a time when concerns about the region's wealth disparity and the displacement of longtime residents have become national news.
But the Dalai Lama, speaking barely above a whisper and often through a translator, did not rail on the evils of capitalism. Though some in the crowd said he was inaudible at times, they were charmed by his engaging laugh and wry sense of humor. He even laughed heartily - after a translation - at a fellow panelist's joke about a prostate exam.
However, he demurred several times when facing business-related questions. Instead, he appealed to the better nature of all, whether rich or poor.
'Social animals'
"Basic human nature is more generous," he said softly. "We are all equipped with affection. We are all social animals."
Every human being, he said, has "the seed of compassion." He called for eliciting that compassion by formally including the teaching of "warm-heartedness" in the school system instead of just leaving it for people to figure out on their own.
Starting in "kindergarten, we must include teaching of compassion, the teaching of warm-heartedness," he said. "It is not just for a spiritual education."
Moderator James Doty, the director of the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research at Stanford University, said that while valley businesses may be creating much new wealth, it is coming at a cost. Doty said the fallout of job-related stress and depression costs tens of billions of dollars annually.
While many companies may think they're helping employees by giving them free meals and exercise facilities at the workplace, they're instead tethering workers to their jobs for unhealthy amounts of time, Doty said.
Dignity Health CEO Lloyd Dean, who shared the stage with the men, said it's important to understand an employer's intentions when it comes to workplace amenities.
"If the intention is that people never leave work," that's not healthy, Dean said. "Whether you are giving me a free dinner or not, you are helping me to increase stress."
Simple approach
The Dalai Lama offered a more simple approach.
"Compassion brings mental peace, mental comfort," he said. While business may bring "physical comfort ... we need both."
His Holiness made a reference to the power of a smile. He recalled the time when he was seeing a doctor and the physician's smile "made the medicine work better," he said. But, he allowed, there are other kinds of smiles, like "sarcastic smiles."
Dean said one time you might not want to see a smile on the face of a health care provider is after they put on a rubber glove for a prostate exam. The audience tittered - and they laughed even harder when the spiritual leader bent forward chuckling after the story was translated.
"That," he told Dean, "was an excellent example" of a smile you don't want to see.
After hearing the hour-and-45-minute program, Alexis Cantos, a 32-year-old who does marketing for startups, said that while the Dalai Lama "didn't tell us anything all of us don't already know, hearing him say it - and who he is - makes it so much more profound.
"It kind of jolts you back into the things that are important," said Cantos, who lives in San Francisco. "And living in Silicon Valley, you sometimes get wrapped up in all kinds of other stuff. It's important to hear that again."

Paid Blog Tours are a Waste of Time & Money

I've done two virtual blog
tours. Both were for different contemporary fiction titles. Tours lasted for 14
days and they were with two different blog tour companies.
The second blog tour
company has been around longer than the first, but longevity doesn’t mean
scrupulousness. For my second tour, my optimism was shattered after receiving
the interview questions. On five out of seven questionnaires, I was asked what
inspired me to write my book?
Guess the blog owners didn't
tax themselves when it came to thinking up questions. Copying the
questionnaires in a Word document, I read the rest of the prosaic queries. Then
it struck me: not one single question pertained to my book. They'd all gotten
free copies of it, had seen the cover, had received the blurb, and had ample
time to read or at least skim it. Yet there was absolutely no level of interest
in a novel that took me years to write and rewrite and have edited. I also
checked out the various bloggers' sites and noticed that most of them had a
boilerplate template where they asked the same questions repeatedly and only
the answers differed.
While I was aware that
many of the bloggers preferred romance/YA novels and its subgenres, I also knew
that a contemporary novel wasn’t that far of a stretch for blog owners to
promote. As the second tour company allegedly had an extensive list of bloggers
I thought that they would be able to effectively match up my book to blogs that
were also contemporary fiction-friendly.
Yeah, right.
Another problem was the
size of the blogs: some had as few as 20 followers while others had more than
2000. But how accurate was that? I'd once sent a nonfiction book to a blogger
to review who had 500 followers. Sales of my book increased and there were also
several comments on the book review and giveaway. But that never happened to me
on either novel tour. Admittedly, I probably wasn’t giving enough of an
incentive [bribe] for readers other than free PDF copies of my novels. No
Amazon or B&N gift cards, no free Kindles or Nooks, nothing of any
"value" other than my eBooks.
I was told to provide
three excerpts and some of the interviewers asked for other excerpts making the
total seven plus one blog topic of my own choosing. As the second tour
progressed, I began seeing the excerpts repeating themselves. In some cases,
bloggers were adding two excerpts instead of just one.
Blog tours are coordinated
several weeks in advance, yet more than once during the first tour, I had to
contact the blog tour owner and ask why my scheduled interview/excerpt/review
hadn't been posted.
Instead of opting for a
review-only tour, I went for tours that featured interviews, excerpts, and
reviews. The first time I garnered four reviews, but in my second foray in
virtual booktourland I received one generic review.
I'll admit it: twice I
made time-killing mistakes. I spent a few hours answering the questions. I
wanted to be sure they weren't repetitive, which is tricky when faced with many
similar questions. I opted for lighthearted answers to keep the content
enjoyable for the reader. As a "veteran" of one blog tour with little
upsurge in eBook sales, I wasn’t expecting anything different the second time
around. As the tour limped on, I knew I was right but not in a good way.
I was paying to give
any available blogger the tour company lined up free material. My writing was
helping promote their blog. It was getting them page views, ad revenue and
touted their own books and/or products. They got fresh content that only
required them to format each post. Aside from the money and time spent on the
blog tours, the sheer lack of interest became apparent -- a blogger/reviewer often
won't bother to read your book. There are reviewers who'll read an entire book
and write a lucid review—but I have no idea what percentage that covers—it's
just the luck of the draw. Weeks after the second tour was over, I happened to
look up my book to see how it was doing on Google. Randomly clicking a link to
a blog where I'd contributed an excerpt, I saw the page was now blank -- the blog
owner had removed the post.
And that summarizes how
I feel about doing a third paid virtual book tour…it's not an option I would consider
again.

Cemeteries, Demons, The Occult And The Dangers Of Innocent Ghost Hunting
Hello my para beauties. I pray everyone had a wonderful weekend and everyone you love is healthy. We've had some bad rain in Florida and just this year alone the weather hasn't been great in many places now that I think about it? It's getting worse each year that goes by. Many have theories for the weather and nature becoming more brutal in these last few years but I'll save that for another blog.
The reason why I personally believe this (just my opinion) there is a lot of sadness and despair. Not everyone handles death well. Even after years have passed by. We know Demons feed off negativity and sadness. Going into a cemetery or graveyard after hours is asking for trouble even if your not looking. Many won't come forward but I have dealt with many cases of attachment from harmless hunting or just hanging around these places after hours. In most cases pending on your intentions it gives them a legal right to harass you and worse..follow you and attach to you. Now they are in your personal space.
Also many occult activities take place in these places which give them legal rights to be hanging around. Recently on our local news we've had 3 occult type rituals left behind in a few local cemeteries along with dead chickens with satanic relics in their stomach. It was left cut open so these relics were not hard to notice. It's these type of activities that open doors or allow these demonic beings legal ground to be there to begin with.
If possession is rare, there is something else more common. It is called spiritual obsession, a term not widely recognized. With spiritual obsession a spirit doesn’t possess your body but influences your thoughts in a destructive way. Think of it as spontaneous, irrational, self-destructive impulses that appear from nowhere. Where did that thought come from? Why? It made no sense. If we reject these thoughts, they go away. But if we dwell on them…the negativity will linger, fester and become ingrained as our own.
Occult traditions have some ideas about the topic. Tradition suggests a maleficent spirit (or thought) can try an invasion. Normally we put it out of our mind, and it is gone. However, if we are passive in the face of a negative influence, eventually our connection with our own Higher Self may be severed. Our higher self is that part of our being that coexists with the realm of eternal Spirit. We are normally unaware of our higher self, but it steadily guides us invisibly. Call it our intuition.
A negative entity (or thought) might try to replace our higher self (or intuition) with itself, like a parasite. If we allow it, the entity/thought will become our new, lower self. Then we’d be stuck, unable to access our higher self’s assistance. Once our own spiritual abilities are extinguished we require help from others.
Obsession may be quite common. We don’t need to be devil worshippers, wearing robes and sacrificing animals. People metaphorically sell their souls to the devil everyday. This is a process where people gradually abandon their humanity for some goal they think is more important.
For instance, some are willing to do whatever it takes to be successful, even if that includes harming others. Think of a gangbanger involved in a drive-by shooting, or a big businessman who feels no guilt about downsizing, firing employees and harming families. After awhile it gets easier and easier until neither cares anymore. Hey, it's just business I'm not personally making up the rules. Every day people sell their souls, if they realize it or not.

Gabrielle Giffords shooting: Frightening, twisted shrine in Arizona killer Jared Lee Loughner’s yard.
The story describe a miniature alter with a replica of a skull in his backyard tent. Could Jared Lee Loughner be suffering from something more then mental illness? Look into the eyes of his court room picture, and you may be seeing something other then just the human intellect looking back. Centuries ago most mental illness was blamed on demons. Today we know better. Yet, there may be instances when voices in the head may not be only one’s imagination. Might he also be suffering from demonic possession?
This news story suggests Jared Loughner may have dabbled in occult rituals. If we combine mental illness with substance abuse and then throw in potentially dangerous goetic magic, an individual can open the doorway to obsession or possession. Ceremonial magic is serious stuff and requires self-control and self-assurance. If the unstable play with this they can open their minds to dangerous forces. What would be unbalanced behavior can then become violent. These demons may be literal discarnate entitles, or they may be the psychological demons of the id. Yet, there is a difference between crazy and evil.
Looking at the image of the alleged shooter’s shrine, I wonder if this is a shrine to Santa Muerte, or “Holy Death”. This is a Mexican figure of veneration, for those who venerate death. The figure is that of the Grim Reaper. It is considered a saint for lost souls and outsiders, and is used by those seeking supernatural assistance for acts that religion and other saints would certainly not approve of. The skull replica could represent Santa Muerte, and the oranges surrounding the skull would be the offering, the sacrifice given for Holy Death’s favor. Santa Muerte always required a price. And what was the favor the alleged shooter requested? Possibly, his success in assassination.
In the picture I notice 3 glass encased novena style candles. They often have labels on them designating their purpose. I don’t see any labels on these candles. Too bad, since if they were labeled that would be a clear clue to what the ritual had been about, and perhaps some of the motivation of the shooter."

"Use of a Ouija has even led to violence and even to murder..." Dr. Marta Prohazka of Fairfax, Virginia, is also convinced that spirits can play terrifying destructive games with human behavior. During her practice as psychotherapist and psychoanalyst, she realized that many patients she had considered "hallucinating paranoid schizophrenics" might instead merely be in touch with something invisible to her but visible to them."I came to understand that another plane, or dimension or existence interrelated with our plane or visible manifestation," she said. "By training and expanding consciousness, some individuals gain entrance into that invisible dimension. It seems to some like a window into heaven."
