The Dalai Lama on Reincarnation, Part 2

By The Dalai Lama

Continued from The Dalai Lama on Reincarnation, Part 1

How Rebirth Takes Place

There are two ways in which someone can take rebirth after death: rebirth under the sway of karma and destructive emotions and rebirth through the power of compassion and prayer. Regarding the first, due to ignorance negative and positive karma are created and their imprints remain on the consciousness. These are reactivated through craving and grasping, propelling us into the next life. We then take rebirth involuntarily in higher or lower realms. This is the way ordinary beings circle incessantly through existence like the turning of a wheel. Even under such circumstances ordinary beings can engage diligently with a positive aspiration in virtuous practices in their day-to-day lives. They familiarise themselves with virtue that at the time of death can be reactivated providing the means for them to take rebirth in a higher realm of existence. On the other hand, superior Bodhisattvas, who have attained the path of seeing, are not reborn through the force of their karma and destructive emotions, but due to the power of their compassion for sentient beings and based on their prayers to benefit others. They are able to choose their place and time of birth as well as their future parents. Such a rebirth, which is solely for the benefit of others, is rebirth through the force of compassion and prayer.

The meaning of Tulku

It seems the Tibetan custom of applying the epithet ‘Tulku’ (Buddha’s Emanation Body) to recognized reincarnations began when devotees used it as an honorary title, but it has since become a common expression. In general, the term Tulku refers to a particular aspect of the Buddha, one of the three or four described in the Sutra Vehicle. According to this explanation of these aspects of the Buddha, a person who is totally bound by destructive emotions and karma has the potential to achieve the Truth Body (Dharmakaya), comprising the Wisdom Truth Body and Nature Truth Body. The former refers to the enlightened mind of a Buddha, which sees everything directly and precisely, as it is, in an instant. It has been cleared of all destructive emotions, as well as their imprints, through the accumulation of merit and wisdom over a long period of time. The latter, the Nature Truth Body, refers to the empty nature of that all-knowing enlightened mind. These two together are aspects of the Buddhas for themselves. However, as they are not directly accessible to others, but only amongst the Buddhas themselves, it is imperative that the Buddhas manifest in physical forms that are accessible to sentient beings in order to help them. Hence, the ultimate physical aspect of a Buddha is the Body of Complete Enjoyment (Sambhogakaya), which is accessible to superior Bodhisattvas, and has five definite qualifications such as residing in the Akanishta Heaven. And from the Body of Complete Enjoyment are manifested the myriad Emanation Bodies or Tulkus (Nirmanakaya), of the Buddhas, which appear as gods or humans and are accessible even to ordinary beings. These two physical aspects of the Buddha are termed Form Bodies, which are meant for others.

The Emanation Body is three-fold: a) the Supreme Emanation Body like Shakyamuni Buddha, the historical Buddha, who manifested the twelve deeds of a Buddha such as being born in the place he chose and so forth; b) the Artistic Emanation Body which serves others by appearing as craftsmen, artists and so on; and c) the Incarnate Emanation Body, according to which Buddhas appear in various forms such as human beings, deities, rivers, bridges, medicinal plants, and trees to help sentient beings. Of these three types of Emanation Body, the reincarnations of spiritual masters recognized and known as ‘Tulkus’ in Tibet come under the third category. Among these Tulkus there may be many who are truly qualified Incarnate Emanation Bodies of the Buddhas, but this does not necessarily apply to all of them. Amongst the Tulkus of Tibet there may be those who are reincarnations of superior Bodhisattvas, Bodhisattvas on the paths of accumulation and preparation, as well as masters who are evidently yet to enter these Bodhisattva paths. Therefore, the title of Tulku is given to reincarnate Lamas either on the grounds of their resembling enlightened beings or through their connection to certain qualities of enlightened beings.

As Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo said: “Reincarnation is what happens when someone takes rebirth after the predecessor’s passing away; emanation is when manifestations take place without the source’s passing away.”

Recognition of Reincarnations

The practice of recognizing who is who by identifying someone’s previous life occurred even when Shakyamuni Buddha himself was alive. Many accounts are found in the four Agama Sections of the Vinaya Pitaka, the Jataka Stories, the Sutra of the Wise and Foolish, the Sutra of One Hundred Karmas and so on, in which the Tathagata revealed the workings of karma, recounting innumerable stories about how the effects of certain karmas created in a past life are experienced by a person in his or her present life. Also, in the life stories of Indian masters, who lived after the Buddha, many reveal their previous places of birth. There are many such stories, but the system of recognizing and numbering their reincarnations did not occur in India.

Part 3 will delve further in recognizing reincarnations in Tibet

The Dalai Lama on Reincarnation, Part 1

By The Dalai Lama

Introduction

My fellow Tibetans, both in and outside Tibet, all those who follow the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, and everyone who has a connection to Tibet and Tibetans: due to the foresight of our ancient kings, ministers and scholar-adepts, the complete teaching of the Buddha, comprising the scriptural and experiential teachings of the Three Vehicles and the Four Sets of Tantra and their related subjects and disciplines flourished widely in the Land of Snow. Tibet has served as a source of Buddhist and related cultural traditions for the world. In particular, it has contributed significantly to the happiness of countless beings in Asia, including those in China, Tibet and Mongolia.

In the course of upholding the Buddhist tradition in Tibet, we evolved a unique Tibetan tradition of recognizing the reincarnations of scholar-adepts that has been of immense help to both the Dharma and sentient beings, particularly to the monastic community.

Since the omniscient Gedun Gyatso was recognized and confirmed as the reincarnation of Gedun Drub in the fifteenth century and the Gaden Phodrang Labrang (the Dalai Lama’s institution) was established, successive reincarnations have been recognized. The third in the line, Sonam Gyatso, was given the title of the Dalai Lama. The Fifth Dalai Lama, Ngawang Lobsang Gyatso, established the Gaden Phodrang Government in 1642, becoming the spiritual and political head of Tibet. For more than 600 years since Gedun Drub, a series of unmistaken reincarnations has been recognised in the lineage of the Dalai Lama.

The Dalai Lamas have functioned as both the political and spiritual leaders of Tibet for 369 years since 1642. I have now voluntarily brought this to an end, proud and satisfied that we can pursue the kind of democratic system of government flourishing elsewhere in the world. In fact, as far back as 1969, I made clear that concerned people should decide whether the Dalai Lama’s reincarnations should continue in the future. However, in the absence of clear guidelines, should the concerned public express a strong wish for the Dalai Lamas to continue, there is an obvious risk of vested political interests misusing the reincarnation system to fulfil their own political agenda. Therefore, while I remain physically and mentally fit, it seems important to me that we draw up clear guidelines to recognise the next Dalai Lama, so that there is no room for doubt or deception. For these guidelines to be fully comprehensible, it is essential to understand the system of Tulku recognition and the basic concepts behind it. Therefore, I shall briefly explain them below.

Past and future lives

In order to accept reincarnation or the reality of Tulkus, we need to accept the existence of past and future lives. Sentient beings come to this present life from their previous lives and take rebirth again after death. This kind of continuous rebirth is accepted by all the ancient Indian spiritual traditions and schools of philosophy, except the Charvakas, who were a materialist movement. Some modern thinkers deny past and future lives on the premise that we cannot see them. Others do not draw such clear cut conclusions on this basis.

Although many religious traditions accept rebirth, they differ in their views of what it is that is reborn, how it is reborn, and how it passes through the transitional period between two lives. Some religious traditions accept the prospect of future life, but reject the idea of past lives.

Generally, Buddhists believe that there is no beginning to birth and that once we achieve liberation from the cycle of existence by overcoming our karma and destructive emotions, we will not be reborn under the sway of these conditions. Therefore, Buddhists believe that there is an end to being reborn as a result of karma and destructive emotions, but most Buddhist philosophical schools do not accept that the mind-stream comes to an end. To reject past and future rebirth would contradict the Buddhist concept of the ground, path and result, which must be explained on the basis of the disciplined or undisciplined mind. If we accept this argument, logically, we would also have to accept that the world and its inhabitants come about without causes and conditions. Therefore, as long as you are a Buddhist, it is necessary to accept past and future rebirth.

For those who remember their past lives, rebirth is a clear experience. However, most ordinary beings forget their past lives as they go through the process of death, intermediate state and rebirth. As past and future rebirths are slightly obscure to them, we need to use evidence-based logic to prove past and future rebirths to them.

There are many different logical arguments given in the words of the Buddha and subsequent commentaries to prove the existence of past and future lives. In brief, they come down to four points: the logic that things are preceded by things of a similar type, the logic that things are preceded by a substantial cause, the logic that the mind has gained familiarity with things in the past, and the logic of having gained experience of things in the past.

Ultimately all these arguments are based on the idea that the nature of the mind, its clarity and awareness, must have clarity and awareness as its substantial cause. It cannot have any other entity such as an inanimate object as its substantial cause. This is self-evident. Through logical analysis we infer that a new stream of clarity and awareness cannot come about without causes or from unrelated causes. While we observe that mind cannot be produced in a laboratory, we also infer that nothing can eliminate the continuity of subtle clarity and awareness.

As far as I know, no modern psychologist, physicist, or neuroscientist has been able to observe or predict the production of mind either from matter or without cause.

There are people who can remember their immediate past life or even many past lives, as well as being able to recognise places and relatives from those lives. This is not just something that happened in the past. Even today there are many people in the East and West, who can recall incidents and experiences from their past lives. Denying this is not an honest and impartial way of doing research, because it runs counter to this evidence. The Tibetan system of recognising reincarnations is an authentic mode of investigation based on people’s recollection of their past lives.

Jim Bakker & His Merry Band of False Prophets Want World Dominion! – Wednesday, August 7, 2013

Nestled in the Ozark Mountains about 20 miles from Branson, Missouri is the new home of Jim Bakker. Back in the 1980s he played a leading role in spreading the name it and claim it ministry—a/k/a/ the prosperity gospel--which means if you’re rich God loves you. But if you’re poor it’s your own fault.

From Heritage USA to the peacefully named Morningside, this is the home of Jim’s new ministry. He doesn’t focus on get rich, get into heaven anymore. Now Jim has embraced a new gospel consisting of:

- End Times teaching
- Conspiracy theories
- Hyper-Grace
- Prophetic teaching

If his new gospel consisted of the above four subjects, I could look past it. However, if you take the time to peel back the layers of deceptions, you uncover something very shocking.

- He’s teaching Dominion or Kingdom Now gospel. This means that Christians have the right, if not the responsibility, to run every aspect of government, culture, science, and religion.

- The false prophet industry is on the rise. Just as many Americans have gone new age and psychic crazy, numerous charismatic churches promote the prophet business. The church no longer tests you but gives you every opportunity to cash in—write a book, costar on Jim’s show, etc.

- Doom & Gloom. We’re in the final stages of the End Times! Nobody ever told me they’d already started! Blood will gush down the streets, cities will burn, and there will be no food on the shelves, no power, and no water. But don’t worry! If you fork over the money, Bakker will send you enough food to last for 20 years! He’ll sell you a generator. And even better than that, he claims he’s working on a water making device!

For the next two shows, we’ll take a deeper look into the world of Jim Bakker and the Dominion/Kingdom Now gospel. We’ll discuss what a prophet is, and is a prophet and a psychic the same thing? We’ll look at the false prophets that Jim Bakker promotes to the world via his show. You’ll learn more about:

Does The Scripture Stipulate Anything About Lucid Dreaming, Sleep Paralysis And Demons Possibly Connected?

I have been researching Sleep Paralysis for 2 years and 11 months intensively due to my two experiences that prompted me to see a Dream Doctor and ask quite a few questions. Many people over the years have asked me questions that are very important and need answers if that is even at all possible. These nightmares can be extremely disturbing, but is there any spiritual significance? In Genesis 20 God spoke to Abimelech, warning him not to touch Abraham’s wife, Sarah. Other dreams include Jacob’s ladder (Genesis 28), Joseph dreamed that his brothers would serve him that led to his captivity in Egypt (Genesis 37), as well as his dream about Pharaoh (Genesis 40-41) that led to his being made the second most powerful man in Egypt. The Lord or His angel appeared to others in the Bible, including Gideon (Judges 7), Solomon (1 Kings 3), Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 2), Mary (Matthew 1), Joseph (Matthew 2), and Pilate’s wife (Matthew 27). None of these dreams, however, with the possible exception of Pilate’s wife’s dream, can really be called a nightmare. So it would appear that God does not usually speak to people through nightmares.

Some people think it's a form of Demonic Visitation and I feel the same. 97% of people say they felt a very malevolent presence and many see shadow people?. A gentlemen once told me he witnessed a dark shadow crawl up the walls and disappear. I have heard similar stories for the last 20 years. Why is it that 97% of people feel the same thing..Evil presence or attacks? Satan and demons are infiltrating our minds during nightmares, but there is nothing in the Bible to substantiate this very common issue. There are no biblical incidents of demonic forces communicating with people during dreams or nightmares. Nightmares are said to be nothing more than the brain’s way of contending with our fears and concerns as it continues to function during sleep cycles. If a Christian experiences continual, frequent nightmares that are interrupting sleep and causing emotional disturbance on a regular basis, then it would be prudent to seek medical attention. But, remember as in all things, prayer is our never fail weapon against any kind of spiritual distress. Christ gave us victory in His name! The war has been won my friends! One of the last things Christ said before leaving earth to be with the Father was "I leave you with the power of The Holy Spirit so you may cast out demons in thy name." Praise God! Praying for just 10 minutes prior to sleep as I feel is the most effective way to calm the mind and prepare for restful sleep.“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).

Next week I will discuss the Incubus/Succubus that seems to be a big topic as well as a problem for many. At times our minds can play tricks on us when discussing things that can seep into our subconscious. The Enemy is always on the prowl, make no mistake.

If anyone has any questions, needs, or would like me to discuss a certain topic or have any prayer requests contact me at biblicaldemonologist@gmail.com or 1Demonologychic at Twitter. You're never alone, I care. We all care. These blogs are just my humble opinions on said subjects. God Bless you all and have a fabulous week.

Skinwalker, Shapeshifter and Biblical Worldview

By Reverend Mark Hunnemann

A book I read yesterday --"Hunt for the Skinwalker"--  reminded me of the importance of Christians learning how to think with a biblical worldview...because the worldview it (the book) was espousing was entirely different.

Let me give you a severely compressed summary of the book. (Written by Colm Kelleher, Ph.D and George Knapp) A large ranch in Utah has gained a reputation for being a paranormal Grand Central Station. The Ute and Navajo Indians believe it to be the home of an evil entity called the Skinwalker, and they are deathly afraid of it. Shamans from both tribes practiced black magick and cursed one another and others--like the Mormons surrounding them. Along with other unmentioned events, this is ample reason for demonic activity to flourish.

Enter the "Gormon" family who moved on the property in 1994, totally unaware...Cattle mutilation, shadow figures,  UFO sightings galore, strange lights even more galore, sightings of impossibly huge wolves who were immune to gunshots and disappeared at will. .Inside the ranch house objects were disappearing all the time, and outside cattle and farm implements were suspended high in trees in the front yard. Within less than two years the oppressed and broken family were forced to move.Sounds pretty demonic to me, but...

They sold the property to NIDS--National Institute of Discovery Science-which was funded to scientifically explore all the bizarre episodes . Long story short, it was determined that the ranch was a doorway which opened up to limitless universes. It was stated (and this is crucial) that the prevailing view of quantum physics was the belief in infinite universes. The beings from these other universes sometimes entered through the doorway and caused all the paranormal activity. As I understand it, two facts were given as "proof" of infinite universes--an infinite universe and dark matter. Neither of these seem to me to have any bearing on the plausibility of this "revolutionary breakthrough" in science. In fact, the notion is on a collision course with the bible's worldview. Let me give a skeletal outline of what a biblical worldview is comprised of. In my book I go into considerable detail about various aspects of worldview thinking. When something in science is clearly at odds with biblical teaching, then we must bow before the authority of God's Word. Also, I have stated over and over that science is unable to identify spirit entities--that is a theological issue.

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." (Genesis 1:1) The opening verse of the Torah/bible (and chapters 1-3) provide the foundation for thinking with a biblical worldview...which I will mention six components.

1. What is Ultimate reality? According to our text, the infinite/personal God of the bible has always existed, and created the one universe ex nihilo--out of nothing. As Creator, all else is creation...this is the most basic distinction. And as Creator, He also sustains and providentially guides all things. (Col. 1:16-17; Rom. 8:28) He created the visible and invisible. Since He created all reality, He OWNS it/us.The spirit realm is populated by two kinds of entities--angels and demons.GOD is ultimate reality!
Today, allegedly backed by physicists, energy is believed to be ultimate reality...creator and creation distinction has been obliterated. Infinite number of universes is not consistent with the creation account. There is one universe which has been bent by the Fall, but will be renewed.(Rom.8)

2. What is our purpose in life?  If our purpose is not God-centered then it is idolatrous. Loving, glorifying, and enjoying God is our purpose.
Once we jettison the God of the bible, there is no rational basis for purpose/meaning in life. That is why direct encounter with the spirit world has such appeal--this experience allegedly brings meaning to life. But it is doomed to fail.

3. What is the nature of history? Gen. 1:1 states that there was a real beginning. The infinite/personal God created the space time continuum, as well as the visible and invisible. In 3:15 the cross is announced for the first time...history is His-story, and He is sovereign over every thing that happens in the flow of history (Eph.1:11) History is moving to a climax...the Second Coming.
Eastern view of reality and history are seen as cyclical--with reincarnation, and the goal of is the outworking of some super-evolutionary jump in cosmic consciousness...allegedly happening NOW!

4. What is the basis of morality? In the Old and New Testaments ethics is grounded in the unchanging character of God. "Be holy because I am holy" says the Lord. Again, with just Gen.1:1 God can tell us what to do because we are His by virtue of His creating us.
With the new energy-centered worldview, there is no adequate basis for ethics. With infinite universes, all is lawless.

5. What are the essential traits of being human? Genesis 1-3 answers this clearly--we are creatures of great nobility, having been made in God's image But we are all sinners as well. (Rom. 3:23), since we fell with Adam, our Federal head. God is infinite/personal and we are finite/personal...making communication with us not only possible but expected. Only God has intrinsic value. Humans have extrinsic value--God values us, therefore we have value.
In an energy/consciousness centered view of reality, then humans are a cosmic accidents--personal warts on the face of an impersonal universe/s. We have no more dignity than the blade of grass.

6. What happens to us after we die? We see in Gen. 1-3 that humans are a body/soul composite. Physical death, which rips the soul from the body, is a consequence of sin. In 3:15 the gospel is announced for first time. God owns us, body and soul-at death our soul returns to Him immediately for judgement. He is the sovereign, holy Judge before whom we must give an account.

Some say that our "free-will" mandates that we must have the ability to stay behind after death if we wish. Our free-will is not absolute...after death we MUST stand before our Maker/Judge. Others say folks get trapped, but this notion is utterly foreign to a biblical worldview where God's sovereignty overrules all else.

This is but a very brief over-view of a biblical worldview...the spectacles through which we should view the world--including the paranormal . Instead of inter-dimensional beings from other universes causing chaos and high strangeness, it is much simpler (ockhams razor) and biblical to attribute it to demonic activity. A biblical worldview enables us to see ghosts through God's eyes. The "Gormons" were clearly under demonic oppression. Skinwalker...Shapeshifter...this remote ranch in Utah was polluted by black magick--unleashing the forces of darkness, which only Jesus can expel.

Issue 128 – The Murder Bordello, Part 3

By Kirby Robinson

Continued from:

Listen to tonight’s radio show Don’t Get Fooled by “Six” Again! [7 PST/ 10 EST]

NOW IN PAPERBACK!

There’s no blood in the Murder Bordello--but there is LOTS of ego

Our next project will be called NO BLOOD IN THIS BORDELLO: THE STORY OF A MODERN DAY PARANORMAL HOAX.

It’ll be an in depth look into the story of how a community bought into a false account concerning the Murder Bordello in Galena, Kansas. It’ll show how the para-celebrity community jumped on board for fame and profit.

The book will also look into the subject of paranormal ethics, or the lack of ethics, within the paranormal community. Watch for it this fall.

The Klinge Brothers Separate Legends from Historical Fact!

Galenas Murder Bordello
This is Brad Klinge from Discovery Channel's Ghost Lab. My brother and I have visited hundreds if not thousands of haunted locations coast to coast and border to border. We have interacted with real history first hand. We have been able to separate legends from historical fact, and by doing so we have found that most of the time legends are born from fact. We are good at what we do, and our reputation is impeccable. Our goal is to bridge the gap between legend and history—finding those important pieces of unwritten history that complete the puzzle. Museums run by state university systems around the country are currently building exhibits based on our work and research, so even the experts in the mainstream look up to us. The Galena Murder Bordello gained our attention a couple years ago when we first heard the stories surrounding it. But we have seen the same old thing time after time—a old building that has paranormal activity and a story is made up around the true haunting to make sense of it. It is human nature to try to create an ounce of logic to explain the unknown. But the bordello completely blew us away. We found through our own tedious research that the legends seem to point to the truth. You can’t discount over a hundred years of family histories telling each generation about the murderous bordello. Court documents, police records, and newspaper accounts from back in the day also support its stories. This is what interested us in the bordello so much. Finally, here is a place where legend and fact actually meet, and the paranormal evidence support both. We recently filmed a documentary at the bordello that will be released this fall. This is our story of the bordello based on what we found—both tangible and paranormal. Now the story is going to be told on an international stage. This story is more than just a bordello, more than just murders, more than just local politics, and more than just ghosts. It is about ALL of the activities that culminated in the town in such a short period of time that allowed an imprint to made on the environment. So ready or not, Galena and its bordello are about to have a world-wide spotlight on them, and rightfully so. Galena had an important part in the building of this country, and the vices and malice that came along with success are equally important lessons—not to mention it sits right on historic Route 66. Everyone will know the story. Be watching for an official press release on the documentary in a couple weeks and a trailer as well. Barry and I will be in Galena for the Route 66 Festival next weekend (August 2nd). I’m sure we will be by the bordello a time or two while we are there, so drop by and say hi.

So… we have to ask:

1 You claim that your reputation is impeccable. Then how can you explain the times that you’ve been caught faking scenes, making false claims, and multiple cases of fake EVP’s?

2 You claim to have investigated hundreds, if not thousands of haunted sites. How many times were you paid to hunt by the owners of the site?

When you were paid to ghost hunt, how many places did you find that weren’t haunted?

3 How many times did you run into demonic spirits? How did you get rid of such spirits?

4 Please list the names of these museums at the state run universities that are changing displays due to your findings.

5 Please list the names of these experts that are “looking up to you.”

6 Point out any valid historical proof that you found [that no one else has] that the house on Main Street is the Murder Bordello.

Why did you try to cover up the contact you had with Carolyn McLean who knows the truth that that house is not related to the murders?

7 If this research is so tedious, why mince words? Let people know you find research to be boring and monotonous?

8 You state that “legend and fact actually meet…” Is this the first time in your career this has happened?

Russ Keeler admits that there is no “REAL” proof that it’s the Murder Bordello but he has a lot of crap to back up his claims:

Note he says that there is NO proof [historical]. He doesn’t really address the proof [historical] that it isn’t in the house but he sure has a lot of paranormal proof.

What’s paranormal proof? Photos of ghosts? EVP’s [Electronic Voice Patterns]? They are the so-called voices of the dead responding to voices of the living.

Can this be proven to be true? No. If you listen to the majority EVPS, the voices barely manage to croak out a few words. Why can’t the dead speak in complete sentences? Do we suddenly lose our ability to speak when we die?

But we’re putting the cart first here…

1 You’d have to decide if ghosts are for real.

2 Are ghosts completely honest when they talk to us? Look at it from the ghost’s viewpoint. Would ghost hunters respond to a Joe the Plumber? Probably not. But a killer “madam” gets lots of attention.

3 What about the people who say that there are no ghosts--only angels and demons? I find it odd that few, if any, ghost hunters ever capture an angel, GOD or His Son Jesus Christ.

So if you get an EVP from a demon how can you be sure that it’s truthful?

As you can see, there is no real PARANORMAL PROOF that a serious historian will accept. What Russ Keeler, the Klinge Brothers, and others hope you only see is the word proof.

Don’t Get Fooled by “Six” Again! – Wednesday, July 31, 2013

Because once is more than enough!

Last week we just broke the surface to the real story of Paranormal State’s “I Am Six” episode. The show featured a fake case of demonic possession. That wasn’t the only thing being faked…so was the evidence, the team, and even the priest! Best of all, psychic/medium Chip Coffey, who once publicly stated that he wasn’t a demonologist, stepped in and declared the demon was gone. Two weeks later, Laura had such a negative reaction to holy water she had to be rushed to the hospital.

About a year later, PRS presented a follow up episode called “The Possession: Return of Six.” This hour-long episode features Laura and family, along with a new demonic case located down in Kentucky. [The events featured in the Kentucky case happened in the mid-90s when Ryan Buell was in high school watching The X Files]. Since “I Am Six” enjoyed a ratings bonanza for the series, fans and the production company wanted to know what happened to Laura, so more outlandish claims and stunts take place.

Even at the end of the second episode the story didn’t stop. Instead, the legend kept growing.

Here’s a link to the episode:

Tune in, call in, and be informed.

We have a book that looks at the case in-depth: Never Mock God: An Unauthorized Investigation into Paranormal State’s ‘I Am Six’ Case. It’s available in eBook and paperback. Here’s the link: http://eyeontheparanormal.blogspot.com/p/kirby-robinsons-books.html
