Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves

By Joe Andrade

Down the dark decades of the paranormal field, there have been great investigators, innovators, inventors, parapsychologists, theologians, scientists, demonologists and psychics.

All have been scrutinized one way or another for what they believe without a shadow of a doubt for ideas, opinions, feelings, insights and evidence that were genuine proof of an afterlife.

But who are the doubters, the accusers, and their malfices?

Greed, Jealousy, Anger, Pride and HATE. It’s not who you think it is. They are the real EVIL, true negative demonic entities. Why are there so many forms of evil in this world? Do you know that Satan owns this earth. "The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one." And the Bible identifies him, saying: "The one called Devil and Satan is misleading the entire inhabited earth."-1 John 5:19; Revelation 12:9.

God the hammer, we his nails, for the crosses we bare, for what we do in every aspect of our lives. Why would you put so much energy on hurting just for the sake of suffering, by comparison, the passion of Christ, to your own brothers and sisters? We do the same work, the blood, sweat, tears and with one ultimate goal, to give our clients peace of mind. Whether or not, natural or paranormal.

To look deeper within your soul, gaze upon a mirror. What do you see? Not your reflection, but your own eyes. Tell yourself you’re a liar, a cheat, a loser, and a worthless waste of flesh and of bone. Do you realize, we do this without a mirror, one form or another, on a daily basis?

With the mirror you disperse the negative onto yourself, immediately! How do you feel? Depressed? Humiliated? Worthless? What does this do, to your soul and spirit? What we are here becomes our afterlife.

Now with your negative self, looking back at you say, “I Love You”, much more difficult isn’t it? Now send that negativity to a hate mail, I will make it a positive. Creating negative energy in any type of media, masking as good intentions, opinions, and dialogue, still a manifestation of that negative energy, a reflection of oneself. For example: There are groups with good intentions, but they charge a hefty fee. Services Guaranteed! $250 per hr. + travel. Same price remotely (which they prefer?) $150 consultation fee 30-45 mins, true evil, and masking. Are they doing any good? They have been stated they charge for the sheer exhaustion from sending positive energy to cleanse. Really?

Truest evil disguised as an answering to a call for help in the darkest form. An Exorcist performing exorcisms remotely from a Lay Z Boy through Ebay. $199 + $3.99 for shipping. Shipping??? Remotely….shipping… Get it? 10 quantities available, while supplies last (exact quotes) Hell hath no fury, like a demonologist scorned.

God Bless!

Issue 79 Ghost Adventures Goes 'Paranormal State' in a Bad Way

By Kirby Robinson

Have Ghost Adventures Become God's Messengers in Their Minds?

It finally had to happen but it's now time that the EYE expose the fakery of Zak, the Ghost Adventures crew and their sponsors.

But first some news …

EYE ON THE PARANORMAL PM EDITION

We're going to launch a PM EDITION OF THE EYE ON THE PARANORMAL. We have a great editor/manager lined up to make it as big as the original. I will contribute some blogs to get it rolling. If you have something to write about and would like to be a blogger for us just contact us at: freeallspirits@live.com

We welcome Joe Andrade to the Eye on the Paranormal. Joe will be blog for us every other Thursday, giving his own unique view of the paranormal.

Ghost Adventures Goes 'Paranormal State' in a Bad Way

We at the EYE have never followed Travel Channel's Ghost Adventures very closely, mostly because few people really take the show seriously. Take a close look at it – it's all just scenery. Zak Bagans, Nick Groff and Aaron Goodwin have great personalities; they're athletic looking young men, and are attractive to the ladies. But what is the show really about but a bunch of people locked down [not really they leave the set during filming for breaks]. They scream and run around in the dark and allegedly get themselves in dangerous situations. [Not really, our on-set source tells us these are staged]. They claim to deal with demons [which they don't].

Now they've crossed the line into Paranormal State territory, and they did it in a very bad way. Sure, they take part in the same lies and deceptions as PRS and that includes staged and faked scenes, false information about demonic activity, and running around with a bunch of useless equipment. But they also do a disservice to the viewer as they begin to TELL the viewer that they are authorities on life after death and what that state is.

What they offer is just milquetoast new age crap loaded with lots of sugar to get the audience to swallow it. They don't end their deceptions with their show as they turn to other paranormal entertainment industry outlets. [We'll deal with them in a later segment of this blog series]. But the worst thing of all is that they take part in a deception that if a person falls for it, may lead that person into demonic bondage.

It saddens me that just about everyone in the paranormal entertainment industry is in it for a buck. Most of them know they are fake, and only a few really allow themselves to be totally delusional about what they do. In fact, the field has become so tainted that they're willing to allow convicted child molesters to work alongside them. Making the next car/house payment trumps that. In the end, they'll face a final judge that won't be impressed by the number of shows they were on, or what their ratings were, or the level a book reached on the bestseller list. The only thing that judge will be impressed with is did they glorify God? Did they teach a path that if followed would lead a person from God to the grasp of a demon? And this is where the problem lies--the Ghost Adventures went to the dark side with the Galka case.

So slippery are their deceptions and trickery that it will take a few blogs to expose them…and expose them we will.

Let me clarify my position on life after death. I'm a Christian and my views on the matter of ghosts have changed recently, after much research and prayer. When a person dies, they go to heaven or hell. If you encounter something that goes bump in the night it's not Casper the friendly ghost but a demon. There is nothing in the teachings of Christ that says ghosts are real. Many new agers try their best to distort Biblical passages, but to reiterate, ghosts aren't real, if you follow the teachings of Christ.

The episode features the Galka family, who lost their teenage daughter, Melissa, to a tragic auto accident. Four days afterwards, they removed her from life support.

The producers of Ghost Adventures and the team know they have a very emotional episode on their hands. They know the audience will get involved in the loss of a pretty, intelligent, talented, and vivacious girl. It's terrible and hits close to home--any parent fears that they might lose their child.

Now here is the twist and it's dandy. The child's dad just happens to build devices that can be used to pick up the presence of a ghost and to talk to them. [Neither of these two things have ever been proven to be real ghosts or the ability to pick up their voices EVP's]. Sure go to the conferences, watch the shows, buy or rent the DVD's, but show the public hard scientific evidence that they exist. I have seen attempts, but once you really start to dig into the reports it always traces itself back to people who have a vested interest in the subject.

Gary Galka owns DAS Distribution, Inc. "DAS Distribution Inc. has been a leading supplier of Precision Non-Contact/Contact Measurement Products, Data Acquisition Systems, Automation Sensors and Test & Inspection Equipment for over 20 Years. Industries served include Wire, Optical Fiber, Medical, Aerospace, Automotive Industries and many more." They also build and sell devices such as the Mel-Meter and the SB7 Spirit Box that allegedly detect the presence of ghosts.

Zak makes much of this fact in the episode, repeating that Gary builds the devices and Ghost Adventures uses them. What does this prove? Nothing. It's simply a way to trick the audience into thinking that if Zak uses them they've got to really pick up ghostly activity. In reality who has proven these things pick up the presence of ghosts? Yes, they pick up something--but is it a ghost? It would have been far more legitimate to mention ONCE that Gary builds them, and leave it at that…but they don't.

The beginning of the episode is taken right from the now cancelled A&E show Paranormal State.  A voiceover of Zak telling the audience what is about to happen. We see the family in different shots grieving over the loss of their daughter. The team shows up and is welcomed into the home.

We see a series of videos and photos of Melissa.

Then we get to the night of September 24,  2004 Gary had a premonition of something not being right. There's a knock on the door and his world was shattered as he learns that she had been driving a car that hit a tree head on. Four days later, they removed her from life support and she died.

We are then shown a deceptive shot of a young girl watching the scene of the accident, [which was staged just for that shot]. Then the girl is seen running through the woods [again staged]. She's running to the home but is that Melissa in the house--or a demon?

Come back next week to get your paranormal world rocked. Galka Case, Part 2

The Dalai Lama on Tibetan Medicine

One of the factors common to all living beings is the basic wish to achieve happiness and avoid suffering. The desire for health, for complete physical and mental well-being, is an expression of this, for everyone wants to be well and no one wishes to be sick. When we fall ill we take whatever measures we can to help us recover. When we are unwell we not only feel miserable, but our ability to function normally is impaired.  Consequently, health is not a matter of merely personal interest, but a universal concern for which we all share some responsibility.

I believe that the Tibetan medical system can contribute substantially to maintaining a healthy mind and healthy body. Like the traditional Indian and Chinese systems, Tibetan medicine views health as a question of balance. A variety of circumstances such as diet, lifestyles, seasonal and mental conditions can disturb this natural balance, which gives rise to different kinds of disorders.

In diagnosing these disorders the Tibetan physician employs his own senses to examine the patient's pulses, urine and general appearance. He assesses the individual's general balance of health as a whole. Treatment involves dietary and behavioral advice, medication and accessory therapies. Medicines are obtained from natural sources such as herbs, minerals and organic products and prepared under controlled conditions. These ingredients are inexpensive and easily available. The medicines themselves have few side-effects, are not symptomatic and have a preventive as well as a curative effect.

Tibetan medicine is deeply integrated with Buddhist practice and theory which stresses the indivisible interdependence of mind, body and vitality. The ideal doctor is one who combines sound medical understanding with strong realization of wisdom and compassion.

I strongly believe that our medical system is one of the means by which we Tibetans can contribute to the well being of others, even while we ourselves live as refugees.

"I Am Six" The Golden Goose of Ryan Buell & PRS

By Kirby Robinson

Cancer is a sad and terrible thing for anyone to suffer; especially someone as young as Mr. Buell. The type he has is more often fatal, with a 4% survival rate at one year, and 0% after five years. We at the EYE ON THE PARANORMAL ask that everyone send their prayers to our GOD in heaven for the healing of Ryan Buell.

We won't allow any negative comments concerning Ryan's disease. But what we can't do is remain silent over a PRS Case Vault webinar that will be held on July 20 and 21. The subject is Paranormal State's well-known fake demonic possession case, "I Am Six" and its sequel, "The Possession: Return of Six." Those two episodes laid the foundation for the hordes of fake demon hunters that are running loose in the paranormal community and the church today. Those two cases spawned so many lies, deceptions, and distortions of how to confront the demonic.

For $75, you'll get two programs that allegedly contain more shocking information about this case from PRS and other eyewitnesses. Why is it that PRS never does anything for free? Let's do a little math. If they get 100 people willing to pay $75, they've earned $7,500.

1,000 = $75,000

5,000 = $375,000

10,000 = $750,000

For no charge at all, we're sharing our in-depth look at both episodes, right from the pages of our book, Paranormal State Exposed. Due to the length, we'll concentrate on "I Am Six" this week and the sequel next Monday.

We're open for a genuine debate by someone from PRS about the misconduct of Ryan and his team. However, we're not holding our breath that anyone is brave enough to come forward. You see, lies can never stand up to the light of truth.

However, if we do get a response, we'll share it with you.

Season 2, Episode 32 "I Am Six"

The “I Am Six” episode focuses on a young lady by the name of Lara, living in Quincy, Illinois with her family. The 26-year-old is allegedly being attacked by demonic forces. Her name is spelled Laura even though that's not the correct spelling.

Observe Ryan’s face, particularly the right cheek area, in the opening sequence at the church. Notice there is no pimple there at that time. This issue will be brought up as we progress through analyzing this section.

The case briefing in the church takes place at 10:26 AM Day 1. They then travel to the home, make introductions; set things up, and begin to tour the house by 11:33 AM.

Lara greets them at the door; we see no sign of trouble or discomfort at all. She even gives them the impression that she’s excited for them to be there—especially Ryan.

Barbara, the mother, states with little or no emotion in her voice, that the first time Lara saw the black shadow, which by the way is never referred to again, that Lara got hit in the stomach and couldn’t breathe for over one hour.

Lara makes claims that writing and scratches appear on her skin periodically, yet none are present at the time of filming. And we’re told that about 10 days prior to their arrival there had been scratches of a pentagram on her skin, yet there are no visible signs, nor are there any photos.

We learn that Lara claims to have been sucked down a laundry chute. Again, no proof or offering of injuries.

The house tour starts at 11:33 and lasts until at least 4:10 PM. Ryan is wearing a dark shirt. We then jump back in time to 2:37. Ryan is talking to Lara who’s now minus her glasses.

We are told that an EVP caused the entity to come in, yet we never actually hear the EVP.
It's now 3:48 PM. Ryan's talking to the mom, who’s not wearing the same outfit that she had on at 4:10. Notice how she sells the story with the phrase “All the time.” The mom adds that there is constant mayhem within the house but during the entire four days nothing happens while the cast and crew are present.

At 4:28 PM Ryan interviews Bob, the father, and Ryan’s had time to change from a dark shirt. Notice how calm the dad is and how he emphasized that his daughter could be a great artist, maybe even a star. This exchange is intercut with a shot of Lara reading a magazine in the kitchen showing no ill effects at all.

At 5:03 PM Ryan has changed back into his dark shirt for an evidence hearing. Eilfie and Sergey, who don't claim to have medical training, determine that Lara could not write on the inside of her thigh, nor on the inside of her arm. How difficult would it be to scratch yourself there? Also, they don’t take into account that someone else could have done it for Lara. Notice the markings never take place on her face or any area on her body that couldn’t be concealed with clothing.

Chip Coffey arrives at 9:56 PM and does his walkthrough. Now it’s supposed to be night but you can clearly see daylight in numerous shots.

Chip claims that the demon has a very dirty mouth, yet he is the only person who uses foul language during the entire episode. Here are direct quotes:
"Get rid of all this ****** religious stuff!"
"More religious ****!"
"Get the f*** out of MY house!"
"I'll kill the bitch!"
"It ****** her in the bathtub!"
"It just scared the **** outta me!"

They find a phrase scratched into the wooden floor in the closet. Again, the scratches are done where no one would see it and be an embarrassment to the family. In addition, note that Ryan’s voiceover is not done at the same time the shot is made.

At the start of Day 2, Ryan, who’s still wearing clothes from Day 1, points out to Eilfie the scratches on the floor. At 11:36 AM Heather calls a German translator but it’s clearly nighttime outside.

At 3:11 PM Heather interviews the former homeowner who informs her that one person had died in the house.

At 5:05 Heather informs the PRS team that two deaths happened on the property. Yet that’s not what the former homeowner said. Again, Ryan is still wearing clothing from the first day.

Ryan calls Reverend Calder at night of Day 2, and he flies in from Atlanta, Georgia at 9:49 PM. Or was he waiting in a nearby hotel?

It’s 3 AM Dead Time. Lara is sleeping with her glasses on. And what is this mysterious illness that she’s supposed to have? Please don’t forget they asked the parents to leave the home.

In the upstairs bedroom, Ryan, Chip, and Reverend Calder are arranged one way in one shot, and in the next the Reverend is in a different area of the bed so the camera guy could get a clear shot of Chip and the doorknob incident. Did anyone see the doorknob turn other than Chip? Also notice that numerous shots from this Dead Time are done in daylight and an attempt is made to block out the sun as much as possible.

Lara is supposedly attacked in the bathroom while she is alone. And Eilfie asks, where’s Ryan? As if she has no idea where he’d be at that time. Ryan's wearing his shirt from Day 1. In the very next shot the mother inexplicably appears in the bathroom, yet the family had been asked to vacate their home.

We see six scratch marks on Lara’s back and we learn that the demon’s name is Six.

There’s a voiceover of Chip and Lara done during the exorcism. We’re given the impression that it happened then. The mother claims that it scratched I AM SIX on her back in the past. Where is the proof? Also take note that both outfits that Lara and her mother are wearing are the same outfits they wore during Day 1 and we’re nearing the end of Day 2.

Day 3 starts off with a call at 12:20 PM to Lorraine Warren. This call is done on a different day than the rest of the episode. Look at the dark pimple on Ryan’s face; it’s hardly noticeable that day and in future scenes.

There's an identical shot with the father, and the scene is set exactly the same way. Both Ryan and the dad wear the same clothing from two days ago. What they discuss is a scene taken verbatim from The Exorcism of Emily Rose where she becomes totally rigid while in the bedroom.

The interview with the psychologist is done poorly. Ryan seems to know very little about what diseases could be misinterpreted as demonic possession, and he fails to ask the proper questions concerning this.

The family doesn’t react in a shocked manner when they learn of a possible exorcism rite being done—it’s almost as if they’re wanting and/or anticipating it. Notice that we’re in the evening of Day 3 and Ryan is wearing the same shirt as in the beginning of Day 1.

For a young lady facing a pending exorcism, Lara is very calm, her hair and makeup are flawless, and she’s posed very provocatively on her bed toward Ryan and Reverend Calder. She already has a red nose at the beginning of the scene, indicating she’d been crying. Was this even her first take? The shot wasn’t done at night but in the daytime. Watch the transition to the next scene.

Ryan tells us that he must enter a state of grace. What he doesn’t say is that every single person connected to the exorcism must enter a state of grace and how they indicate you go about it is totally wrong.

We now come to Exorcism Day. You’ll notice the shutters in the living room switch from open to closed at will.

The EMT is shown once and disappears for the duration of the episode. Ryan’s shirt has gone back to his Day 1 shirt, which is when the exorcism presumably was filmed.

We’re told the exorcism starts at 3 PM but notice the scanner that Ryan uses reads 4:01 PM. They cut and spliced numerous scenes together for a complete exorcism. Suddenly, it’s 6 PM according to their clock.

A big deal is made about it raining. What they don’t tell you is that it rained off and on throughout that day. Here's the link to the Farmer’s Almanac.

On July 18th, 2008, the weather station (QUINCY MUNI BALDWIN FLD, IL), reported the following conditions:
High Temp: 88°F
Low Temp: 68°F
Average Temp: 78°F
Dewpoint: 66.2F
Wind Speed: 4.6 Knots
Precipitation Amount: 0.03 Inches
Observations: Rain/Drizzle, Thunder

Now, it’s 4:45 and sunny. Ryan walks out of the house to talk to Lorraine Warren, yet we’re told it’s 7 PM when he goes outside.

It’s 11 PM and Chip has moved into the living room to take control of the exorcism. Suddenly, it’s sunny outside again.

The worst thing that the demon can do throughout the whole episode is call the poor girl "sleazy." Also, notice how her hair changes from being up to down, neat to messy.

The clock is moving backwards because we’re supposed to be at 11 PM but it’s back to 5 PM.
It’s Chip who decides she’s not breathing, from across the room. What happened to the EMT? And notice how Ryan pops around the room. Suddenly we see it’s 10:55. They keep splicing the show to make it appear more exciting. Observe, at the very end of the exorcism, how Chip pushes aside Reverend Calder, in order to have the final word. Remember, Chip was the one who declared in “The Name” episode that he was neither a demonologist nor an exorcist.

When Chip walks through the house for the final check, it’s daylight outside.

Two weeks after the PRS cast and crew left Lara had a negative reaction to holy water. The sad story continues in season 3.

We need to step away from our presentation of letting the viewer decide what is real and what isn't. There was and is no haunting. There was and is no demonic presence, whatsoever. Due to the vast number of errors in the way this "exorcism" is portrayed, and the harm that could come to pass if the public accepts this gross distortion. Kirby goes on record to say that in his professional opinion, this episode is fake.

Why was this episode aired? What we have are two groups.

~ 1 Paranormal Research Society and Paranormal State
~ 2 Lara and her family. Both groups have common needs. They want an exciting show, they know the formula of Demons + Exorcism = Ratings. Lara is seeking publicity and a desire to be in the media spotlight.

The film The Exorcism of Emily Rose provides an opportunity for the pair to achieve their goals. Watch the film and see how it’s an accurate depiction of how possession happens. You’ll also see some terrifying things from Emily’s perspective. It’s interesting to note that the demon in the film and the TV episode both say "I Am Six." Notice how similar some scenes are within the movie and the TV episode.

In addition, there have been two claims made by Lara’s family and Paranormal State.

~1 No paranormal group would help the family within the Quincy area. After checking with various groups in the region, most weren’t contacted. Those who were checked it out and found no evidence of a haunting.

~2 They claim the Catholic Church dropped the case. What they don’t tell you is why. Also, none of the local charismatic churches were contacted to come in and assist the family.

If Ryan Buell, as well as Father Calder, had ever been a part of or witnessed a real exorcism, they would’ve realized that what they were presenting was far from the truth in procedural matters as well as the way Lara acted claiming she was possessed.

~ 1 Ryan talks about holy ground when he first addresses the team. Ryan should know that demons, as well as their leadership, have access to all holy places. So just being in a church doesn’t prevent you from being attacked by a demonic spirit.
~ 2 When Lara greets the team does she show any signs of discomfort or pain? None at all. She seems to be very happy to be on camera.
~ 3 Notice that there are religious symbols throughout the house and her mom is even wearing crosses as earrings. Yet Lara shows no discomfort towards those objects.
~ 4 The pentagram has nothing to do with demons.
~ 5 Why were no religious items placed in or under Lara’s bed to see if any discomfort took place?
~ 6 Father Andrew Calder does a walkthrough but no in-depth interview with Lara.
~ 7 When Lorraine Warren is talking to Ryan on the phone she says something not true about the legion story from the Bible. Legion was not the name of the demon -- the demon was simply saying that legion, defined as many, means that many demons were in the person.
~ 8 Ryan violates one of his own church’s rules when it comes to determining if an exorcism is even required. It states that all mental illnesses must be ruled out. The psychologist says that it is possible that Lara has a dissociative disorder.
~ 9 Father Calder should have spent time in prayer and meditation prior to jumping onto the idea of demonic possession.
~ 10 Father Calder should have gone through a time of Biblical fasting to prepare himself for the exorcism.
~ 11 The State of Grace that Ryan talks about is not something that is quickly or easily done in just a few minutes. Nor is it something you can do with a few lighted candles. But it takes in depth soul searching, prayer, and a complete confession of all sins that have taken place within your life. Each and every person in the house, including Lara’s family and the entire cast and crew, would be required to do the same.
~ 12 The exorcism room should have had ALL the furniture completely removed and the windows boarded up.
~ 13 Lara’s family should not have been allowed in the room.
~ 14 Father Calder does not have any assistance in the exorcism.
~ 15 Does Lara show any signs of real discomfort in the exorcism? She draws a pentagram in the air, which means nothing to a demon. Lara’s voice doesn’t change, nor do her physical features contort.
~ 16 Chip should not have interrupted the exorcism.
~ 17 Lara shows no spiritual knowledge of past or future events relating to anyone—especially Father Calder. There is no vulgarity, spitting, vomiting, defecation, flatulence, or urination.
~ 18 Chip interrupts the exorcism a second time.
~ 19 Never does the demon engage the exorcist in a battle of will, logic, or faith. Nor does the demon ever challenge its authority to be there.
~ 20 Chip is not allowed to touch the person being that he is not actually a part of the exorcism. By doing so, he denigrates the spiritual authority of Father Calder.
~ 21 In the post interview of Lara she shows no ill effects or spiritual changes that accompany a person who has been demonically possessed. The possession itself changes the person forever.

NOTE: Requiem [2006], a subtitled German film also influenced the "I Am Six" episode. This film is about: "An epileptic girl suffers a breakdown during her first year at university, then decides to seek help from a priest in battling the troubles associated with her strict upbringing."

Paranormal Evidence Tally

1 Claims of Paranormal Activity: A 26-year-old young lady is being terrorized within her family's home.
2 Proof of Paranormal Activity: None.
3 Accuracy of Psychic: 3. Chip gives a general reading.
4 Ryan Buell's Producer Credit: Consulting Producer
5 Demon Count: 0

Brownie Mix & God

By Bridgette O'Hare

Proverbs 13:13
He who scorns instruction will pay for it, but he who respects a command is rewarded.

I just finished putting a pan of brownies in the oven for my not-so-grown-up 19 year old son who batted his eyes and said “please Mommy.”  He’s not a dumb child...he knows precisely which of my buttons to push.  He knows the ingredients to getting a situation to turn out the way he wants when Mom is involved.
Puppy dawg eyes...check.
Pouting bottom lip...check.
Hug for Mom...check.
“Plllleeeaaassseee Mommy” (in that sweet 5 year old way that clearly still works at 19)...double check.
A simple list of ingredients and viola!  Success.  So, back to the brownies.  I was adding the ingredients called for on the package (because let’s face it...there’s no way I’m making brownies from scratch) and something hit me.  Not literally...mentally.  The ingredients were: 1 egg (normal enough), 1/3 cup of oil (no surprise there), and 2 tablespoons of water.  Wait...what?  Only TWO tablespoons?  What difference is two tablespoons of water going to make? Really?  But there is was.  It did get me to wondering though.  I mean, two tablespoons of water doesn’t seem like much and doesn’t appear that it would make much difference in one batch of brownie mix, but is that how we see the small things in God’s Word?  As though they are insignificant in the big scheme of things?
God’s Word is likely the same way for many of us.   We have all the ingredients at our fingertips, yet we choose to not put some of them in because they seem insignificant.  (Maybe BIBLE actually could stand for Basic Ingredients Before Leaving Earth...nahh...Instructions is probably better.)  Just like Betty Crocker, God has His reasons for the two small tablespoons.  We may never truly know the reason they are needed...but they are needed all the same.

I won’t lie...it crossed my mind not to put them in out of pure mocking curiosity.  But I already had the measuring spoons out...so, why mock what is tried and true?  As Christians, it’s hard sometimes to follow the list and add in everything we need.  We tend to think we can get by without this or that.  But in the end, if we leave out the things God intended to be in the mix, the results may be good enough to put on the plate, but the flavor will be lacking. Trust that God knows what He’s doing.  He’s the Master Chef.  We are merely the Assistants here to learn from the Master.
And for good measure (get it...measure, it’s a pun...haha.  Ok, nevermind), anyway...here are a few other verses about following the instructions.  Feel free to quote them to your kids.  Enjoy!
1 Thessalonians 4:7-8
For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.
Proverbs 13:1
A wise son heeds his father's instruction, but a mocker does not listen to rebuke.
Job 22:22
Accept instruction from his mouth and lay up his words in your heart.

Sometime in the future...

By Stephen Piersall, Deliverance Ministry Central NY

Sometime in the future Jesus has returned and we now have 1000 years of peace, harmony, love and worshiping God like we never did before. Here in the future we still all sorts of talents; some of us build homes, roads, some teach, we have farmers, fishing, etc.  Me? I got quite the job assigned to me. I’m an archaeologist.

It’s truly amazing of the artifacts that we have found thus far and how could the human race live their lives as they did?  We have been doing digs for quite a few years, and only one Bible was ever found. There had been parts of some that were full of burned pages, but we did find one complete Bible fully intact, thanks to someone putting it in several layers of plastic and burying it deep down. Fortunately for us we all know God first hand and know of the Bible and his great wisdom from the daily preaching from Jesus. Aw, the sounds of his voice, the birds singing in the trees, the gentle wind blowing about, and all of us singing praises for all that we have.

We even found someone’s “bucket list” and they wanted to be able to sit next to a tiger. Wow, I can’t imagine not being able to do that. We have tigers, lions, dogs, cats, etc. all living together amongst us all. I am a bit fond of the tigers myself, I think they are so beautiful and smooth; they do have a bit of a breath problem when they yawn in your face though LOL. One thing that puzzles me with some of the items we have found so far. All these pieces of equipment they used for paranormal investigations? How could people back then be so ignorant wanting to identify and challenge ghosts (evil spirits) to communicate, and pretend to be psychics? That Bible we found was clear in its description of not to do these things. But back in those days I guess it was the normal for ignorant things to do, e.g. Middle East wars among themselves, Middle East warring with Europe, North American countries, that World War III that lasted over 100 years devastated this planet.

I got side tracked. We found a book of sayings and I guess this was probably the one everyone believed the most…”There’s a sucker born every minute” P.T. Barnum. These so called psychics (Leviticus 19:31) were being fed information from Satan’s minions. Why is it they could predict what your future job or health would be but not be able to win the lottery? Of course some of these people had ear pieces and were being fed info from people that worked for them that mingled out in the hallways before the show. That Bible (Matthew 7:15) spelled out clearly beware of false prophets! Why did people have to walk in the dark with flashlights?  Wouldn’t they be better off doing this during the day when you didn’t need a flashlight? Didn’t they know Satan and his minions are around 24/7? Heck they don’t sleep! LOL

We found out too that these investigative teams had Christians among them, and would go to Church on Sunday and sing, pray, and listen to God’s word, but as soon as they left the building would be honking their horn at someone and cursing because someone cut in front of them at the church parking lot. Why would they also go out at night and try to find ghosts? Didn’t they listen or learn from those Sunday morning messages? The most puzzling thing I don’t understand is why did they abandon the families they told that they found evidence of evil spirits (ghosts)? Why was there no follow up to provide a means to accept Jesus as their Savior if they weren’t Christians already? Why was there no cleansings to rid evil spirits? Didn’t they realize that when they packed up their equipment and left, the families still had to live there under demonic presence?

I know I feel sorry for those who lived back then and ignored receiving Jesus in their lives. Those that carried the sin of their ignorant ways and when they died bowed before Jesus to be judged of their actions. Life is great now, we have God in our lives daily, trust, respect, honor, humor, and can eat all the manna you want and not gain a pound LOL. If I could send a message back in time I would want everyone to know the greatest thing you can do for yourself is accepting Jesus as your Savior (John 3:16). Put away pride, and truly love one another and always be forgiving. As for those ghost hunts, always wear the Armor of God. Pray prior, during and after any visit. Cleanse yourself of sin and spend days with God prior to any visits.  Lastly, don’t leave the family without witnessing to them, and helping them set goals and actions to achieve those goals that would take place immediately. This way when you leave an investigation, you can sleep night in comfort knowing you have done all that you could to help someone.

The Future of Paranormal Investigations

By Rev. Mark Hunnemann

In my last blog I questioned the conventional wisdom behind investigating. By investigating, I mean using diverse technologies to debunk or prove the presence of supernatural entities and activity in the house. My reasons for strongly suggesting sweeping changes were:

1. We (the paranormal community) are doing something that has never been done before in the history of mankind…what I call “lay-play”. On the scale it is being done in the US, the wisdom of the ages (priests/shamans) is being recklessly thrown out.

2. The glamour of the paranormal is blinding us to the demonic gore
-number of investigators who are developing demonic problems

3. It is outrageous to think that 90% of people are mistaken re claims of supernatural activity
-God-ordained reliability of our senses
-we KNOW our homes
-if demons are the true culprit, then our investigating is mostly in vain…deception

I won’t re-hash what I said last week, but each of those issues needs to be discussed in more detail. My suggestion is radical…stop investigating and start cleansing. I have done dozens of cleansings and the lack of an investigation was not a hindrance. In fact, from my perspective, the typical investigation makes matters worse—especially if there is attempted communication with alleged entities. If a door was not open to the demonic before the investigation, it most certainly is opened during the time when Deut. 18:11-14 (attempting to speak to dead is condemned as an occultic sin) is explicitly being broken—hence, giving the demonic a “foothold.”

The more I study, and the more experience I gain, the more I am convinced that investigations are causing horrible problems for the client and the investigators. If my read on history is correct, then the burden of proof lies on those who are doing the investigating. It is your responsibility to show that you are NOT harming people—that, you are in fact, helping them. I say this with tears, but most investigators are themselves developing demonic issues. And if these deceptive entities are really demonic, then of course that is precisely what one would expect would happen. Please don’t be fooled…ANY paranormal that has begun, is demonic in nature. Paranormal activity is not glamorous…there is an unspeakably evil presence behind it.

I talk to folks on a regular basis who wish to God they had never investigated a single house. You get all tied up in the busy work of your own group, and you are missing the signs right in front of your face. A dear friend of mine had a very successful group in the Midwest, and he became obsessed with looking at the evidence. But the more he listened, the more suspicious he became. So, he began to address them in the name of Jesus. That was all it took to confirm his suspicions that these were demons playacting as human. If demons are anything, they are deceptive, deceptive, deceptive. Brutally deceptive…

I digressed on purpose. All of the preceding has led to a a very disturbing conclusion. The belief in ghosts in general, and investigations in particular, are central to Satan’s plan to bring about widespread deception in the end times. I believe we are entering the count-down to Jesus’ return, but before that will come, an enormous Satanic led deception. A study of the various New Age beliefs has convinced me of the paramount importance the Evil One has placed on paranormal investigations.

Nothing is opening doors to the demonic more effectively and in a more widespread fashion than paranormal investigations. Satan has his strategy in place for deceiving the world, and in order to do that, his demonic strike force has to be primed and ready. They are already here on earth, BUT something has to be done on a wide scale which will unleash their oppressive potential. The average tempting demon has considerable constraints put on them by the sovereign Lord, but if it is present when occultic practices take place, then a “door” is opened for them to enter. Opening doors to the demonic is what paranormal investigations is doing in a systematic and widespread way.

With one-third of Americans (globally?) embracing the notion of trapped spirits, then this makes it the largest occultic belief in our country today. There are many aberrant beliefs which can cause spiritual mischief but none are embraced by one-third of our population. Any beliefs about the Second Coming are speculative except the basics. But since I do believe we are winding down to the last hour, then paranormal investigations take on a special role in that complex of events. The unhappy conclusion is: investigators are unwitting pawns in unleashing hoards of demons to prepare for a final push for darkness. But regardless of the timing of Christ’s return, there is no doubt in my mind that investigations are an express ticket for demonic freedom—and on an unprecedented scale in modern times.
