The Reality of War

By The Dalai Lama

Of course, war and the large military establishments are the greatest sources of violence in the world. Whether their purpose is defensive or offensive, these vast powerful organizations exist solely to kill human beings. We should think carefully about the reality of war. Most of us have been conditioned to regard military combat as exciting and glamorous - an opportunity for men to prove their competence and courage. Since armies are legal, we feel that war is acceptable; in general, nobody feels that war is criminal or that accepting it is criminal attitude. In fact, we have been brainwashed. War is neither glamorous nor attractive. It is monstrous. Its very nature is one of tragedy and suffering.

War is like a fire in the human community, one whose fuel is living beings. I find this analogy especially appropriate and useful. Modern warfare waged primarily with different forms of fire, but we are so conditioned to see it as thrilling that we talk about this or that marvelous weapon as a remarkable piece of technology without remembering that, if it is actually used, it will burn living people. War also strongly resembles a fire in the way it spreads. If one area gets weak, the commanding officer sends in reinforcements. This is throwing live people onto a fire. But because we have been brainwashed to think this way, we do not consider the suffering of individual soldiers. No soldiers want to be wounded or die. None of his loved ones wants any harm to come to him. If one soldier is killed, or maimed for life, at least another five or ten people - his relatives and friends - suffer as well. We should all be horrified by the extent of this tragedy, but we are too confused.

Frankly as a child, I too was attracted to the military. Their uniform looked so smart and beautiful. But that is exactly how the seduction begins. Children starts playing games that will one day lead them in trouble. There are plenty of exciting games to play and costumes to wear other than those based on the killing of human beings. Again, if we as adults were not so fascinated by war, we would clearly see that to allow our children to become habituated to war games is extremely unfortunate. Some former soldiers have told me that when they shot their first person they felt uncomfortable but as they continued to kill it began to feel quite normal. In time, we can get used to anything.

It is not only during times of war that military establishments are destructive. By their very design, they were the single greatest violators of human rights, and it is the soldiers themselves who suffer most consistently from their abuse. After the officer in charge have given beautiful explanations about the importance of the army, its discipline and the need to conquer the enemy, the rights of the great mass of soldiers are most entirely taken away. They are then compelled to forfeit their individual will, and, in the end, to sacrifice their lives. Moreover, once an army has become a powerful force, there is every risk that it will destroy the happiness of its own country.

There are people with destructive intentions in every society, and the temptation to gain command over an organisation capable of fulfilling their desires can become overwhelming. But no matter how malevolent or evil are the many murderous dictators who can currently oppress their nations and cause international problems, it is obvious that they cannot harm others or destroy countless human lives if they don't have a military organisation accepted and condoned by society. As long as there are powerful armies there will always be danger of dictatorship. If we really believe dictatorship to be a despicable and destructive form of government, then we must recognize that the existence of a powerful military establishment is one of its main causes.

Militarism is also very expensive. Pursuing peace through military strength places a tremendously wasteful burden on society. Governments spend vast sums on increasingly intricate weapons when, in fact, nobody really wants to use them. Not only money but also valuable energy and human intelligence are squandered, while all that increases is fear.

I want to make it clear, however, that although I am deeply opposed to war, I am not advocating appeasement. It is often necessary to take a strong stand to counter unjust aggression. For instance, it is plain to all of us that the Second World War was entirely justified. It "saved civilization" from the tyranny of Nazi Germany, as Winston Churchill so aptly put it. In my view, the Korean War was also just, since it gave South Korea the chance of gradually developing democracy. But we can only judge whether or not a conflict was vindicated on moral grounds with hindsight. For example, we can now see that during the Cold War, the principle of nuclear deterrence had a certain value. Nevertheless, it is very difficult to assess al such matters with any degree of accuracy. War is violence and violence is unpredictable. Therefore, it is better to avoid it if possible, and never to presume that we know beforehand whether the outcome of a particular war will be beneficial or not.

For instance, in the case of the Cold War, through deterrence may have helped promote stability, it did not create genuine peace. The last forty years in Europe have seen merely the absence of war, which has not been real peace but a facsimile founded dear. At best, building arms to maintain peace serves only as a temporary measure. As long as adversaries do not trust each other, any number of factors can upset the balance of power. Lasting peace can assure secured only on the basis of genuine trust.

I Was ... Wrong

By Bridgette O'Hare

I was wrong.  Deep down I knew I was wrong...but I did it anyway.  And this wasn’t the first time...I’ve done it before.
Justifications swirled around in my mind, muffling the little voice that was trying to remind me to do the right thing. Man, those self-righteous justifications sure are loud...aren’t they?
Have you ever wondered why the voice of reason - the voice of truth - never seems as loud as those arrogant, sanctimonious voices that often drown it out?  Have you ever wondered where that subtle voice comes from and why it doesn’t just shout at you:
“Hey...dummy...yeah, you... STOP THAT!”
Why does that voice speak so quietly when so many other voices are barking loudly around you?  I have asked that question - many times. Always after the fact, I hate to say.  The catch is, if I listen to the right voice I don’t have to ask myself that question afterwards.  Yet somehow I find myself asking it time and again.
Have you ever done something that you were pretty sure was wrong, but you justified your actions to yourself?  Hard to drown your own voice out, right?  I know you have.  We all have.  It goes with the territory of being human.  We make mistakes.  Sometimes big ones.  Sometimes we do things that we feel like God couldn’t possibly forgive us for.  But He will, He does, He has.  If we have truly gone before God in prayer and confessed our sins, asked Him to forgive them truly from the heart, then we are fully forgiven....no questions asked!!!
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
Don’t you wish it were that easy with people?

I know from personal experience that sometimes it doesn’t seem so simple to us.  We wrestle with those voices in our head that say God couldn’t possibly forgive us for something so horrible.  Those voices are liars!  Those voices are Satan-sent and want nothing more than to see you suffer and not TRUST GOD.  It’s this point that I personally would like to say:
“Hey...dummy...yeah, you... STOP THAT!”
(ok...I really don’t think you’re a dummy...just trying to make a point)
No matter what you have done, no matter how horrid you think it is, no matter how repulsive it truly is...God has already forgiven it if you’ve already sincerely asked.  What you are dealing with now is guilt.  Guilt is a powerful weapon in Satan’s arsenal.  I should know...I’ve been attacked with it over and over.  But God’s forgiveness trumps any weapon Satan has - every time.  You only need to have faith in God’s forgiveness.
If you aren’t sure how to come humbly, yet boldly before God to ask for His forgiving grace...keep reading.  As always, He has already given us the instructions.
“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)
God wants us to approach His throne with boldness...boldness He bestowed in us when we became His children.
“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)
Guilt is nothing more than heavy chains Satan wants to keep draping around your neck as he pushes you closer and closer to the edge, hoping to push you over and watch you drown as they anchor you beneath the dark waters. Matthew 11:28 tells us that God doesn’t want us to carry that weight around.  He wants our burden to be light.  He wants us to give that burden to Him.  Hand over the chains...they don’t belong to you anymore.

“Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.” (Psalm 55:22)
Jesus has already shouldered the sin, He has already paid the price of forgiveness, He has already bore your guilt as His own...He has done all of this through the blood that He shed for all of us on Calvary.
“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” (Ephesians 1:7)
We still have to make amends for our wrongs, we will still have to face the consequences of whatever our actions bring, but that doesn’t mean God will never bless us again.  It does mean we are forgiven and we can go on knowing that by His blood, we are forgiven, we are healed of our transgressions, we are new in the eyes of Christ, all of our sins are passed away and our slate is wiped clean.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.” (Colossians 1:13-14)

Changing Ghost Investigation Objective

By Stephen Piersall, Central NY, Deliverance ministry

What is the ultimate goal for today’s Ghost (demon) hunters? There are literally thousands of investigative teams all across this country. They do it as a hobby with fun-filled adventure, helping mankind, and for some to get that attention to self. “Look at me; I’m a celeb ghost hunter!” I think it’s a great idea to get out and help mankind. But, only if we could get all these teams to just refocus their objective. Sure I’m all for an initial investigation, of gathering what the clients are experiencing for debunk reasons. I’d like to know if they are on any psychotropic medications, illegal drugs, religious beliefs, occult activities with any family members, diary of when and what goes on there, how old is the home, electrical or plumbing issues, are their pets affected, and lastly what would they like to see accomplished from the visit. Granted the list can be much larger but I think we get the idea.

Now if we can get these teams to look at things differently, and still do their initial investigation but these times bring God along with them. I’m not saying everyone has to be a Christian, that is a personal choice, but someone within the group probably believes in God and goes to Church. Before going to the premises gather together and say a prayer for; wisdom, protection, objectivity, and compassion.  Read Ephesians 6-10-12 put on the full Armor of God. I’m not saying to impose your religious beliefs on the client, as we do have freedom of religion, but you do want to go there and be professional, respected, and above all be a good witness to God.

The equipment you bring with you should be simple; Bible, EMF detector, digital camera and recorder. You want to capture evidence, but you don’t want to communicate with any demonic presence there. Read Deuteronomy 18:9-14 and you will see the Bible is very clear regarding that we should not communicate with evil spirits. Why are we walking around in the dark with flashlights asking if there is anyone there, please come forward?  Why are investigations always at night? Do it during the daylight with the windows open and let God’s light shine in. Night time is when Satan and his minions have more control over you through personal fear, e.g., as child afraid of the dark, or monsters under the bed, etc. As part of your investigation and evil spirits confront you, you are required to cast them out in the name of Jesus Christ. Don’t use your sophisticated voice boxes, etc., you are flirting with danger!

Do you realize that Satan is a master of disguises? He can appear as a long lost loved one, a small child, etc.? He will play on your emotions; confuse you and get everyone to squabble amongst each other. They also play hide and seek. That’s why the majority of investigations come up with nothing demonic. Once you leave, the client still has to live there and deal with any demonic presence. While your home catching up on your sleep that family is being attacked by more demons and you know they're not going to call you, because you already told them the house is not haunted.

I strongly recommend that ALL these teams complete their visit by doing a cleansing. Read Matthew Chapter 10, this is where Jesus summons his twelve disciples and gives them authority over unclean spirits. Mark 16:16-18 gives you as a Christian the authority to rid evil spirits as well. On my next blog I will give you details about cleansing a home. If you find a need to get this information sooner please contact me directly stephenbearnys@yahoo.com. Satan has a foothold in the world today and his greatest achievement thus far in my opinion is to have all this confusion regarding religion, denominations, media, movies, TV, etc. of the paranormal. Read your Bible daily, even if what you read makes no sense to you today, it will one day plus the Holy Spirit within you as a Christian needs to be fed the word of God. Pray every day, I always was taught to start a prayer with asking for personal forgiveness of any sins you have before asking for anything. Why would you reward your child with a cookie when they just finished writing on the wall with crayons? As Pastor Mike Griffin Sr. Always said, “keep your soul as clean as possible”.

What is the Paranormal Realm?

By Reverend Mark Hunnemann

If you just set out to be liked, you would be prepared to compromise on anything at any time, and you would achieve nothing.       ~ Margaret Thatcher

And He (Jesus) said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.” Luke 10:18

What exactly is the paranormal realm?  We refer to it all the time, and of course we investigate it frequently, but does the Bible say anything aside from the fact that it is the invisible, supernatural realm?  This is yet another basic concept that the paranormal community has unthinkingly embraced.   That may sound harsh, but the stakes are exceedingly high (as we shall see) and there is no more basic question than this.  Everything revolves around this issue, does it not?  No paranormal realm and we would have no paranormal entities; and without the entities, there would be nothing to study...no paranormal community.  So, back to our question – yes, the Bible does give us more detail about the paranormal realm.  In fact, it speaks with great specificity regarding it.  It was mentioned last time, but the supernatural realm is so crucial it deserves to be mentioned again and in more detail.

The text above, from Luke, is a fascinating glimpse into Jesus’ memory of an event that took place before mankind was even created.  Jesus is referring to the swift and decisive judgment that occurred when Lucifer led his prideful rebellion against God.  The folly of his actions is magnified by the fact that he KNEW from sight that God is all-powerful; hence the utter folly and futility of his revolt.  What we accept by faith, Satan saw firsthand when he was still in heaven. (That was a huge mistake/sin, and he continues to sin and make tactical mistakes.)  But more than foolish – it was terribly wicked, and for his/their cosmic treason, Satan and his hoard were hurled out of heaven with great force.  When the revolt was crushed, they were shot like a cannon….down….down…down — fast as lightning — to earth.  “…he (Satan) was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.” (Rev. 12:9)

In Eph. 2:2 Satan is referred to as the prince of the power of the air. “I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming.” (Jn. 14:30)  When Satan was ejected from heaven he had to be sent somewhere, and the Lord ordained earth to be that place.  In that great text in Eph. 6 we are told in v 12 that these forces of darkness are in the heavenly realms — in this context that simply means in the invisible realm, here on earth.

We could multiply more passages but it is clear: the Lord has sovereignly decreed that the paranormal realm is Satan’s abode. Please read that again. Before he is cast into hell forever, Satan and his demonic crew have been ordered by God to occupy earth.  And since they are spirit beings, without bodies, then their primary residential dimension is what we call the paranormal, or heavenlies, in the Bible. What I mentioned in passing last time I want us to meditate on.  I hope when you finish reading this you will ponder the reality and ramifications of the paranormal realm being Satan’s home turf.  Does it not imply that we are going to him, instead of him having to come to us?  We are trespassing on his turf, and more vicious than any human gang, we will pay for simply entering there.  “If there are any spirits here, please give us a sign. We are not here to hurt you.”  Have you ever considered that they might be out to hurt you?  The paranormal realm is not self-referential or self-defining.  When we turn on a full-spectrum camera, we don’t see a welcome sign. “Welcome to the paranormal realm, where all your questions regarding the after-life will be answered.”  The bible has clearly told us this is where pure evil dwells…by divine decree.  And we want to investigate it?!  No wonder an increasing number of investigators are getting sick, dying, or coming under demonic oppression in other ways.  God is not trying to squash our freedom when he forbids entry; it is a fence of love to keep us from danger — much like the two fences I built when my kids were young to prevent them from running into the street.  Whatever restrictions may have been involved were/are motivated by love.  Now that we know what the paranormal realm is, it is the height of madness (or suicide) to continue investigating it.  If the Bible is true, what other rational conclusion can you come to?  Sadly those blinded by a demonic delusion don’t want to be confused by the facts or logic.

Lastly, what are Satan and his demons up to in their God ordained temporary home?  Do I really need to answer that? Gleaning from a few texts, we note that while residing in the invisible realm on earth Satan and his filthy bunch are walking around like a roaring lion to see who they can devour; killing, stealing, and destroying; deceiving; accusing; tempting; and last but certainly not least, they mimic and morph into whatever shape they wish. This is not an exhaustive list by any means, but it should be sufficient to warn us from entering there.  We not only trespass in their property (as odd as that may sound), but we are exposing ourselves to them...in an unnaturally heightened way.  When my eldest sister died, I drove my family to New Jersey for the funeral, but en-route we got lost in the worst part of D.C., the capital of our country.  Crime-ridden and murder soaked, we got out as quickly as possible because I was concerned for the safety of my wife and kids.  The so-called paranormal realm is the capital of Satan’s kingdom of darkness.  The residents are pure evil and 24/7 they are passionately committed to hating God and us—because we are made in His image.  They are able to affect and influence us while still in that realm…there is a thin dimensional veil separating the two, but they are distinct realms.

So we come to our conclusion: do you really think it is wise to enter a realm which is Satan’s temporary home, and where we are interacting with beings who hate us perfectly?  To ask the question is to answer it… This is the home-base where monstrous crimes against humanity are plotted and executed by monstrous beings.  Not the slightest vestige of goodness or sympathy...PURE EVIL... not even Hitler was that evil. Out of these vast cosmos, the paranormal realm on earth is the capital of Satanic and demonic activity, because it is their God-ordained home.  God placed them there and that is where He has ordained that they focus their kingdom building activity.  What more can I say to underline the fact that God Himself has ordained that the paranormal realm is off-limits to us?  It is not easy to transgress against God and Satan at the same time, but investigating the paranormal accomplishes that phenomenal feat. Though Satan has called off his dogs – and delights in our trespassing – nevertheless, it’s no wonder so many EVP’s say “Get out!”  What is the paranormal realm?  It is a place of unspeakable evil and deception; a place no man was to enter before the Final Cleansing and Blessing; the new heaven and earth, and Satan and crew are in hell forever.

Are There Animals/Pets in Heaven?

By Lisa Grace

Since this time of year focuses on love, nothing quite proves love like the loss of a loved one. Sadly, our golden retriever, Taffy, passed away two years ago at Christmas. This was our second one without her. My daughter never knew a day without her beloved dog before Taffy’s death.

At school this year, our daughter (now in the second grade) announced the hope of seeing her beloved pet in Heaven someday.

Her teacher informed her, “There will be no animals in and certainly no pets in Heaven.” My daughter came home from school in tears at the thought of never seeing her beloved pet again.

Unfortunately, I’ve come across several teachers and preachers who say there won’t be animals in Heaven.

I disagree and I believe I have Biblical proof on my side.

In a way, this is kind of thinking is funny because I’ve heard many a Baptist, Lutheran, Pentecostal, and Catholic sermon where they boast of the feasts they will have in Heaven. And as far as I can remember, not a one was talking about a vegan feast either. (All though my Messianic Rabbi does.) So if they’re going to have animals to eat (which is another whole post in itself, which I’ll be happy to chat about on another day), why in Heaven wouldn’t they be there as pets?

There is plenty of proof in the Bible that animals will certainly be there. For instance, when the new Jerusalem descends and we have that perfect time on Earth, where will the animals come from? The Bible says the world will be destroyed and there will be a new Heaven and a new Earth. (Rev 21:1) .

The prophet Isaiah talks about the time after the judgment and how the lion will lie down with the lamb, and children can play with asps and scorpions. It even says the lion shall eat hay. (Isaiah 11:6; 11:8; 66:23).

Another proof is that this world is a shadow of Heaven. For it to be a shadow, the real thing must exist in Heaven. (Hebrew 8:5 NIV)

In the book of Romans it says the whole of creation calls out. Why would animals be crying out if it leads to their ultimate destruction? Obviously, they’re longing for paradise too. (Rom 8:22)

In the book of Philippians it says all things in the earth and under the earth and in heaven (implies living things) that every knee should bow. Things? (Philippians 2:10)

It gets better. In the book of Revelations it mentions every creature in the sea. (Rev 5:13) How’d they get there if the seas are destroyed? They’re either re-created or they’re there to begin with.

The best proof there are indeed animals in Heaven is the fact that it says the Messiah will come back riding on a white horse. (Rev 6:2, 19:11) Horses are mentioned as coming from Heaven fourteen times in the book of Revelation (eight verses say horse, six say horses).

And the best proof? The four beasts before the throne are mentioned over and over. It mentions angels separately, so these are not classified as angels. There are wonderful creatures in Heaven that we have not seen yet on Earth. (Revelations 19:4)

There are clearly animals in Heaven so while it doesn’t specifically say “pets”, I believe there are. Why? Because very few things bring pure joy like the love from a pet and to your pet; and as we know, God is love. (1 John 4:8, 1 John 4:16)

Issue 82 Ghost Adventures & the Galka Case, Part 4

 By Kirby Robinson

It's been a very busy summer for us here at the Eye on the Paranormal. We've exposed the fakers like no one else can do, and it's starting to look as if the fall of 2012 will get even hotter.

Editor & Bloggers Wanted

In September, we're expanding to a PM Edition of the Eye on the Paranormal. We're seeking some bloggers to round out our stable, along with a solid editor to manage the edition. The editor will have complete control of the edition. If interested contact us at freeallspirits@live.com

Beatrice Marot Will Blog Every Monday!

Who is Beatrice Marot? She has been a victim of stalkers who blindly follow a certain para-celebrity, and she has a heck of a story to tell. Beginning next Monday, and for weeks to come, she will take our readers on a journey of friendship and betrayal, of unrelenting harassment, anger and hatred that few could withstand.

For the first time, Beatrice will have a chance to share her entire story in a protected environment where hateful comments and trolls won't be allowed. Be warned, our comment policy will be strictly enforced.

But it won't end here, for this is the only the first stop for her story. A book is in the works and possibly even a script. The public has a right to know and Beatrice has a right to expose all the players who have taken part in this sad, sad story of ambition and ego gone unchecked.

Everybody Has a Portal? The Problem is Portals ARE NOT Real!

Will not name names here, but for the umpteenth time, I was contacted by a person who was frightened due to the fact that a fake psychic [who appeared on Paranormal State] informed them that they had a portal to the other side on their property. The problem? There is no such thing as portals. Spirits [not ghosts] and demons can come and go from this dimension to the next anywhere, anytime. They DON'T need portals! So if a psychic, ghost hunter or a demon chaser tries to sell you this idiocy, don't buy it.

The Galka Case Part 4

We now reach the final stages of this Ghost Adventures episode, and if it was not clear enough to the viewers that something was a mess -- it should be clear shortly.

The team and family goes into Melissa's bedroom. Notice how Zak presents one more item that Gary builds and sells. Does he call it by a simple name? No, he gives the viewer the name and model number. This was done so Gary could sell more of these devices.

Melissa has friends with her [demons] they ask them to say hello. Do we get hello? Instead, we get "WHAT'S UP?" We then are offered some quick shots that don't match as some type of proof. Zak asks the number of friends with her [a better question would be what are the names of your friends? Then some fact checking could be done but we don't get that]. The demon says: "8, 10, 12." Why is it increasing? Because the demons are gathering for a show and hoping that the show will open up other victims to the scam that Gary is shilling to the public.

When Zak asks the demon to name of the color of the pillow, we get "FRIENDS" in response!

When Zak asks the demon for a name of a person in a photo, do we get it? No [demons can't know everything]. The only response is: "Yeah."

Nick Groff sits on the bed and claims to smell perfume and feel a cold spot. This is proof? No, it's a subjective impression.

The last bit of evidence is when we're informed that the voice says "miss you" but it doesn't. It says mishu, which we can give two meanings. 1. In the Assyrian language, it means a tail of a meteor, which is destructive. 2. Secure [or Security] Housing Unit, is a penal term. It's a prison within a prison, where the worst criminals are locked away. In a sense, the demons behind this have imprisoned the Galka family. In turn, they seek to use this family to lock up more grieving families.

What will happen next? Eventually, the Galka family will start to experience hardship, illness and death as the demonic will claim every single member of the family.

I challenge Zak and the Galka family to have a team of demon experts come into their home and this matter would be easily settled. However, we know Zak never accepts challenges nor would the show want to be proven wrong, so we doubt that it would happen.

David Schrader Shames Skeptics Who Don't Buy Into the Deception

On 6/21/2012, Gary Galka was a guest on David Schrader's radio show, Darkness at the Edge of Town. Airing just four days after Father's Day, the segment was called "A Dad's Afterlife Contact." [Interestingly, such contact has yet to be determined]. The radio show was done in response to those who questioned the validity of the episode and asked fair and honest questions concerning the facts about the Galka case.

David has both a personal and professional relationship with all the players on the show and within the family. Therefore, an issue of partiality must be raised, and his role in the show has to be questioned. Is he the right man to do the show for the above reasons? David has been willing to swim along with the current trend within the paranormal entertainment industry, which is: skeptics be damned. If we say it is this way, it is. If we say it is real, it is. And if you don't play along with us then get out of the field.

David states that there is a dark side to the paranormal; remember his radio show is called DARKNESS AT THE EDGE OF TOWN. It refers to the skeptics who dig into topics that have a right to be heard but may be harsh to others. One subject that was skimmed over by Ghost Adventures is the cause of the wreck. From research done on the matter it appeared that drinking might be involved. If this were true, that fact would influence how people viewed the episode.

David Schrader considers himself a reporter, along with being an active part of the paranormal entertainment industry. He should realize that you must report the good news of the story along with the bad.

Research has revealed that within the area of the Galka family's residence, only two accidents occurred that resulted in death. One was the day of Melissa Galka's car crash. The cause listed: drunk driving. We're awaiting copies of the report.

Gary Galka states that his daughter was racing home in order to meet her 12:30 AM curfew, yet the home where the party was held was nearby. If the curfew was at 12:30, why was she speeding at 60 mph on a residential street? The accident took place well before midnight. So what is the real story?

Next week we'll peel back more layers of David's and Gary's efforts at deceptions in this matter.  Also, we'll look into David Schrader's psychic pimping.

Lessons Entrepreneurs Can Learn From Teachings of Dalai Lama

The teachings of Dalai Lama can guide entrepreneurs in their ventures and help them draw some vital, effective, practical and profound lessons. This is an abridged list.

Responsible business aims at helping people expand their abilities. We usually live for the promise of a good future by selling history. Keeping the basic precepts listed below can aid on the path to reaching the promise of the future while dealing with the most certain uncertainties on the way.

Love what you do, and do it the whole way

This will bring out the best in a venture. To attain the best it is worth the risk to base your work on love and passion. Every venture has different things it will need at different points in its journey. Loving the crucial elements during a particular phase is most important. Even if you do not love them, pretending to love them for a bigger vision will make it easier. Passion and love have a way to get through.

Sacrifice is nobility at its best

Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get what you want. What this literally translates into is this; organic growth is better than shortcuts. Delayed gratification and sacrifice often lead to better and more meaningful results. In an entrepreneurs world, after the venture is afloat, if something is worth anything, it will be worth nothing less with time. Overtime, even the most volatile stocks and assets appreciate in value. Remember, that the best relationships are ones in which the core values behind a relationship exceeds individual needs for each other. Sacrifice is indeed nobility at its best.

When you lose, don’t lose the lesson

Adapt, evolve, pivot, scale. Learn the lessons. And don’t repeat the same mistake over and over again. One often repeats the same mistakes if ones emotional life is confined to the space between ones ears. Get over the ego trip and learn. When you realize you’ve made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it. Not getting what one wants is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck. Learn the lessons, get the experience, wise-up and move on.

Learn the rules so you know how to most effectively use them

This applies to all aspects of a venture. Build your capabilities from ground up and gain a level of competence and effectiveness before moving to something new. Hire the best from among those who gel with your vision for the venture.

Don’t let a little dispute injure a great relationship

The grand illusion of one’s self and immortality often does more harm than good. Nothing is worth more than keeping good friends, team members, advisors and customers. Time changes constantly. No point in holding on to the past. Learn to see over and beyond little squabbles and benefits. A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for your life. Love your loved ones. In disagreements with loved ones, deal only with the current situation. Don’t bring up the past. Nurture relationships and build bridges. Become an enabler.

Open your arms to change, but don’t let go of your values

One way for an entrepreneur to recognize her value systems is to explore uninhibited by failure and fallouts. Read tons. Seek guidance from folks whose accomplishments and values you admire. Follow inspirational people and events. Create a theme of leadership in your head and water it constantly with reading and leadership reinforcements.  Live a good, honorable life. So that when you look back to your life from the future, you’ll be able to enjoy it a second time. Build your life and venture around some core values and beliefs. Let your work and life stand for something bigger and more meaningful.

Follow the three Rs:

Respect yourself: the values and the ideals that drive you. These will reflect on the venture.

Respect others: The golden principle is “Do unto others as you would have them do to you”. Entrepreneurs need to keep this precept very close to their hearts.

Be responsible for all your actions in all aspects of your venture at all stages of the venture.

Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer

Entrepreneurship is fueled by an expression of your passion. The venture is a vehicle that helps entrepreneurs express. But expression in work and attitude is more important than expression in words. Create a small place in your life where you meet and question yourself often. Then as the next step, connect with the larger life by being silent atleast for five minutes a day. Meditate to bring down the neural activity and calm the frequency distribution of your brain. Spend some time alone every day. Silence is the most elegant form of expression. Give your nervous system, neurons and physiological system a break. As often as possible, go someplace you’ve never been before. Serendipity often comes knocking when least expected and in unfamiliar places.
