Issue 72 – Dave Schrader Does Chip Coffey's Dirty Work?

By Kirby Robinson

I'll be returning to Bishop Long's show this Sunday night at 8:00 EST with a Paranormal Headlines segment. Will post the link later.

Ever since our special report on Sunday, Chip Coffey & His Spiteful Posse, he and his followers have tried to bait us into a shouting match, post name calling and personal attack comments. They assume we're dumb enough to respond in kind. When we repeatedly asked for a discussion of the facts, we got either more hate comments or silence.

An anonymous commenter really summed up for us our own arguments without realizing she was doing so. I'll share them with you:

All of this nonsense over a silly joke about a holiday that is not widely celebrated in Mexico, but rather has become popular in the United States as an excuse to eat Mexican food and get drunk? Utterly ridiculous.

Kirby responds: Not widely celebrated. Next year why don't you visit Los Angeles and we'll take you to EAST LOS, and into areas that are 100% populated with Mexican immigrants. Then you'll be able to see firsthand how it lacks in celebration. However, this is just a side issue.

Ms. Qaysi could have chosen to drop the entire matter after her initial exchange with Coffey, but she did not. Instead, she posted her grievances on a TMZ web page and, allegedly, created a Facebook page called “Victims of Celebrity Bullying” that obviously targets Coffey. She created and perpetuated the situation.

Kirby responds: Mr. Coffey created the situation by hunting for something to complain about. He blocked Mrs. Qaysi as she tried to defend herself. Therefore, it was Mr. Coffey who couldn't let it go.

Yes, Coffey alerted his fans to TMZ page created by Ms. Qaysi, but he cannot be held accountable for their opinions and comments. Obviously, Ms. Qaysi wanted to call attention to her “spat” with Coffey, but was not prepared for the reactions she received.

Kirby responds: The Southern Poverty Law Center [http://www.splcenter.org/] has single-handedly taken on hate speech by the Neo-Nazis, the KKK and other hate groups. In numerous lawsuits against these groups filed as results of crimes carried out by people after attending meetings or reading their literature, they claimed the same thing--we can't be held responsible for their actions. In every case, the Southern Poverty Law Center won.

Ms. Qaysi and you, Mr. Robinson, have turned what was initially a silly internet exchange on Facebook into a mountain, when it is a molehill.

Kirby responds: That was Chip's doing when he dug her comment up out of 755 other comments.

Mr. Robinson, is it not true that you and your own “posse” have written many things in an attempt to shed a negative light on Coffey? In fact, Reap Paden, a frequent contributor for this very blog, owns the website www.chipcoffey.info that greatly degrades Coffey.

Kirby responds: There is no grand conspiracy against Mr. Coffey. We don't hold meetings to discuss this matter. In reality, our guest bloggers and I only communicate when they send in their blogs. We all have our own lives. Chip is not the end all of our existence. One of his employees, Sandra Lynn Sparks, has a blog called "Paranormal Trolls" where she spreads many lies about myself and Ron Tebo.

It doesn’t seem quite fair of you to expect Coffey or others not to react or retaliate against negative things written about them.

Kirby responds: One would expect them to act like adults and not little babies that didn't get their way. Deal with facts--that's what we ask--and that's what we do.

Mr. Robinson, I don't believe I missed the point of your blog at all. It is pretty apparent that you greatly dislike Coffey and jump at every opportunity in an attempt to defame him.

Kirby responds: I've made every effort not to talk about him in this blog for some time. My readers asked for that. I feel he's an over-discussed topic within the paranormal community. He's no longer the flavor of the hour. Again, what have we ever posted that was a personal attack? Have we posted lies about him? If Chip can apologize, we'll retract our post.

You neglected to mention that Coffey's sink-o de mayo post on Facebook also as of now has received 6,222 likes and has been re-posted 2,191 times. Evidently not everyone was offended by Coffey's silly play on words post.

Biased reporting or telling only half of a story is yellow journalism.

Kirby responds: Reread the blog. I expressed that the comment was very popular with his posse. You clarified the fact that it was very popular indeed. Yet with all those thousands of likes and shares, Chip focused on one single comment!

Is Dave Schrader Doing Chip Coffey's Dirty Work?

Over the weekend, someone within Darkness Dave Schrader's circle fired off an email with an audio file attached to it. Seems that they were surprised I hadn't spoken of a recent prerecorded interview Dave had done with Chip. Not an interview, actually an infomercial for Chip's book, that led to a public shaming of Chip's critics. [The member of the circle asked that their name be protected], informed EYE ON THE PARANORMAL that this was done in a prearranged manner between the two parties.

I was on the show back in 2011 to promote my first book. [I filled in for someone who dropped out of a pre-taping as David was going to be away the following week]. As I don't play the get-along-to get-along game, I doubt that I'll be returning anytime soon.

David Schrader allows para-celebs to come on his show and say whatever they like and accepts everything without question. Dave recently got upset with a comment that I posted questioning Chris Fleming's claims concerning some kind of tone that can lead to demonic possession. [There is no such thing]. But since a para-celeb said it, hey it has to be true. Dave got upset with a question I raised about some comments that a so-called demon expert made so we're on two tracks. Dave is on the paranormal entertainment track, while I seek to inform and enlighten. If that calls for exposing some of his para-celeb pals as fakes, then so be it.

To be fair, he did broker peace between a radio show and me, so I must give him his due on that count.

It seems that he owes Chip something for the fact that right after we exposed those affiliated with PRS/Paranormal State doing unethical things in "The Messenger" episode from season 2, he had the main cast on his show: Ryan Buell, Chip Coffey, and Michelle Belanger. They denied any wrongdoing. Of course, they weren't asked to provide any facts. A week after my appearance on the show, Chip was featured on an episode called "The Confessions of a TV Psychic." [Listen to the show: there was no confessing, nor was he pressed to respond to the book].

I have no issues with a host doing a powder puff interview with a friend [Larry King did it all the time]. But when Dave Schrader publicly shames people for saying bad things about him or the shows he has been on, that crosses the line of ethical journalism.

The listeners weren't told what the people had said, only that "they are the most vile and disgusting things" and that Dave had met some of the [psychic] kids and they seemed fine. Once again, he was taking things out of context.

Later on [again the circle member informed us that there was a list of talking points that was pre-arranged for the show], they dealt with that myth about how it doesn't say anything bad about psychics in the Bible. Chip went so far as to say there was nothing in the New Testament that advised people to avoid psychics. Read the Bible and point out that section—it's not there. By the end of the show they stated that the God we have now can't be the same God we had when the Bible was written. This means the Bible was outdated because people had changed. Thus God's word has to change. When time allows, I'm going to address these points in a future blog.

When these kinds of interviews/infomercials air, the listeners should be warned. Allowing people to make claims without support isn't being of service to the public – it becomes an act of deception.

I said to the circle member that Ron Tebo and me should be allowed time to respond to these statements. The circle member said they almost made themselves sick from laughing. That would be as likely to happen as Chip inviting me to Thanksgiving dinner. This is kinda sad because Chip and I are blood relatives.

Dalai Lama Warns Against Hopelessness

Bishop of London Richard Chatres, The Dalai Lama & St. Paul's Cathedral
 Canon Pastor Rev. Michael Colclough

THE Dalai Lama is to give almost $1.6 million to Save the Children to help its work among starving children in India.

The 76-year-old exiled Tibetan spiritual leader is donating all his $1.8 million Templeton Prize to charity, including $1.5 million to Save the Children.

He will give $200,000 to the Mind and Life Institute, which promotes collaboration between science and spirituality. The remainder will fund science education for student Tibetan monks.

In a wider message, the Dalai Lama said yesterday that the economic crisis was "man-made", which means that the British people have the ability to overcome it so must not feel "hopeless". The recession was made by man, not by God, and "every effort" must be made to tackle the difficulties, he told a news conference at St Paul's Cathedral, London.

"We must make every effort to work on these things ... We need self-confidence, please do not feel helpless or hopeless."

The Dalai Lama was chosen to receive the Templeton Prize, created by the American-born investor and philanthropist John Templeton, who died in 2008, because of his work investigating the links between science and Buddhism as a way to understand better and advance what both disciplines might offer the world.

The John Templeton Foundation said that the Dalai Lama encouraged serious scientific investigative reviews of the "power of compassion" and its potential to address global problems. Dr John Templeton, its chairman, said: "The Dalai Lama offers a universal voice of compassion underpinned by a love and respect for spiritually relevant scientific research that centres on every single human being."

The Dalai Lama said he felt that the prize was in recognition of "my small service to humanity, in promoting non-violence, respect and harmony among the world's different religious traditions, and encouraging greater understanding between modern science and Buddhist science".

Asked if he would have joined the recent Occupy anticapitalism protest outside St Paul's, the Dalai Lama replied: "If their reasons and motivations are sincere, then I will join with them." He thought that the protests were justified as a way of bringing to light grievances which would otherwise have been ignored.

The Dalai Lama, born Tenzin Gyatso, won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989. Other Templeton Prizewinners include Mother Teresa in 1973, the first year it was awarded and the only other laureate also to win the Nobel.

Justin Forsyth, the chief executive of Save the Children, said that the Dalai Lama's gift was among the largest donations the charity had received. "We are honoured to accept this generous humanitarian gift, which will be used to save the lives of some of the world's most vulnerable children," he said.

Chip Coffey & His Spiteful Posse

By Kirby Robinson

Special Report in Defense of Belinda Morgan Qaysi

When Belinda Morgan Qaysi's day began on May 5, 2012, she had no idea that by nightfall she'd be considered a lawbreaker. She didn't break the law with a felony or even a misdemeanor. No police or federal agents surrounded her home. She didn't violate any local, state or federal laws. Far worse, she broke the law of disagreeing with Chip Coffey. Worse still, Belinda wouldn't back down.

I've made every effort not to blog about the man. His story is old and tiresome. His book was a lousy read [I think if they required prisoners to read it they could get the government on cruel and unusual punishment], but you know what, I don't care. Let him do his thing. If you buy it, it's your loss, not mine. There are much bigger issues within the paranormal field. Those that have eyes see, and ears hear. If you still buy into Chip's story, please email me privately and I'll say some prayers for you.

Before sharing this sad tale, here is a memorable quote from psychic-medium, Chip Coffey:

"Of course. No one wants to be ridiculed or tormented for 'being different.' Those who torment and ridicule others are, in my opinion, despicable!"

Keep those words in mind as you read this. They'll come back and haunt Chip by the end of this news story.

Mrs. Qaysi logged onto Facebook just as millions of people do every day, and began surfing about. She came to Chip Coffey's page and saw he had posted a photo concerning the Mexican holiday Cinco de Mayo, which is one of the biggest national days of celebration for that nation. The photo showed a bottle of mayonnaise in the bottom of a kitchen sink with the caption "sink-o-de-mayo."

Happy 'In Depends- Day'
What if someone posted a photo of a person wearing Depends underwear with the caption "HAPPY IN-DEPENDS-DAY" on July 4th--would we find it funny?

Some people found Chip's joke funny, but Mrs. Qaysi found it a bit offensive. As an American, she expressed her feelings. Mr. Coffey could've let it slide. Out of the 755 comments the post generated, one person saying it wasn't so funny couldn't be a crime, could it? Well in his book it was. From his page:

Someone commented that my "sink-o-de-mayo" post was ethnically offensive. REALLY?!? Some people need to take out a rent-to-own plan on a friggin' sense of humor! Just sayin'.....

Chip sends Belinda a private message, advising her to get a life and in the process to $*^% herself.

Here is a copy of the Facebook post that Mr. Coffey chose to remove [we wonder why?]

Belinda Morgan Qaysi claims she was "offended" by my "sink-o de mayo" photo and post. The same photo -- and other similar ones -- have been "making the rounds" all day on Facebook. Most people (almost 100% of the comments I have seen) find the photos humorous and non-offensive.

Perhaps Ms. Qaysi is pissed because, after she posted a few negative comments, I blocked her from my Facebook fan page.

To even imply that I posted the photo as an ethnic "slam" is ludicrous. May I heartily suggest that Ms. Qaysi lighten up and stop trying to create a "scandal" where there is none.

-Chip Coffey

What does it say about a person? That he only sees one negative comment out of hundreds of positive comments? One would think he was looking for something to complain about, something that'd allow him to be the victim and Mrs. Qaysi the villain. His response to her generated 785 comments and planted a seed in his followers' minds that he was under siege. Mrs. Qaysi didn't buckle under pressure. Mr. Coffey had chosen the wrong person to tangle with. If you say or do things he doesn't like he gets very frustrated. Therefore, he blocked Mrs. Qaysi from his page.

Mrs. Qaysi felt strongly about this topic, and as we live in a celebrity-driven society many people depend on those labeled as celebrities to help form and establish how they think and feel. It's sometimes called the Oprah effect. She turns to the website TMZ.com to express her concern.

Chip uses GOOGLE ALERTS to keep informed on anything that's posted about him on the web. If the news doesn't meet his high standards of making him out to be the Bret Hart of psychics "THE BEST THAT EVER WAS, THE BEST THERE IS AND THE BEST THERE EVER WILL BE" he tries his best to see it removed. When he saw her post, he couldn’t ignore it. Chip even stirred up the troops, his insane clown posse that eagerly rides at his defense immediately.

Check out the page on TMZ about my sink-o de mayo post here on Facebook. The woman who was "offended" calls every one of the 5,000+ people who "liked" my post (that may include YOU) "bigots."

https://getsatisfaction.com/tmz/topics/chip_coffeys_sink_o_de_mayo_joke_while_sporting_noh8_face_paint

Mr. Coffey is good at what he does [not referring to being a so-called psychic medium], but in stirring the fires. Let's look at the key words of his post:

- "Offended" - He wants people to think she was mad. Was she? What words indicate she was mad? There aren't any. Mr. Coffey knows to use this "offended" because he imagines that he's threatened by Mrs. Qaysi and must be protected.

-"Bigots" - No one likes being called a bigot. Chip fans even more flames of anger towards Mrs. Qaysi by using such a word.

-"YOU"- Implies all of his 5000+ fans have been attacked.

Nevertheless, did she say any of these things in her post? You can read it right here and find out for yourself.

Chip Coffey's SInk o De Mayo joke while sporting NOH8 face paint
check out Chip Coffey's cinco de mayo joke, making fun of the the mexican holiday while posting a NO H8 profile pic on Facebook !

Did she say anything about "BIGOTS"? Were any of Chip's followers called BIGOTS? No. In Chip's mind, he sees a threat where there is none. He's lit the fuse and will sit back and let others fan the flames.

This has been his M.O. Ron Tebo, Beatrice Marot, and I have been victims of this tactic for years. At one point, he [and his manager Michelle Babs Griffin] even went public making fun of me due to my failing eyesight.

Mr. Coffey states that he has no control over his fans and what they say and do is up to them, not him. [This was similar to the Kelli Ryan case. She was the first Paranormal State client that came forward to raise issues about PRS/Paranormal State. Someone posted her home address and fans of Chip and Paranormal State showed up at her front door at all hours making threats. When Mrs. Ryan asked Chip to ask for some sanity from his followers, he claimed he couldn't do anything.]

Did his followers engage in a calm discussion--one in which manners and a civil code of conduct reigned? No, far from it. Mrs. Qaysi received such comments as:

- Die and the world would be a better place.

- Her last name sounds Arabic so she is a terrorist [she's married to a gentleman from Mexico].

- Stick a tampon somewhere and let it blow up.

Here is a very interesting post:

Kelli Dowdell 3 days ago
@Belinda Morgan Qaysi - You need to go get your bottle of Prozac And have a HUGE glass of Shut the F' Up! Your mouth is writing checks your A$$ can't cash! If you knew a single thing about Chip you would of never opened your big ole' Pie hole to start with! and if you don't know what the hell a joke is Then you need to come out from under the rock in the mountains that you live under and get with the program! Your a sad sad sad excuse of a human! and YOU are the reason WOMEN SHOULD SWALLOW

This shows Mr. Coffey is really trying to lead an enlightened band of supporters, yes?
It gets even better:

This woman needs to get laid or something.. This is just ridiculous.. Some people have absolutely no sense of humor.. She is one of those people.. People are entitled to say what they what and do what they want in case you have forgotten.. This is America!! I use to have a drama obsessed friend like you and you people just can't get enough.. Chip, I am half hispanic and I can honestly say that nothing about your picture or "slogan" offended me.. It's funny to me that you talk about Cinco De Mayo being about pride in Mexico and yet people spend the whole day getting drunk.. You ma'am need a life and a lightening up wouldn't kill you either

Here is where we ask you to stop and print the above comment out. Now, make sure you get the second and third lines: "Say what they what [assuming she meant want?] do what they want"!

- Visit your local grocery store, load up your cart, and leave without paying.

- Walk up to a policeman/woman and punch them in the face.

- Go to a crowded movie theater and shout FIRE!

When you're arrested show them the above comment and say, this is America we can do and say what we want!

I could go on, but I think you get the point.

What Chip doesn't want you to know, is that the woman who is at the center of a very vicious attack by an angry para-celebrity, is a 52-year-old grandmother of 12 who is disabled. But Mrs. Qaysi loves kids so much that she's working a Ph.D. in psychology in order to help troubled children.

There are bullies out there online and offline. They're found on playgrounds or classrooms, and yes, even in the paranormal field. How can a person with a NOH8 photo take part in such behavior? How can a person who claims to be a light worker act in this manner? How can a person who works with young children and teenagers engage in such actions?

In closing, here are Mrs. Qaysi's words. Let them ring in the ears that will hear and let them bring tears to the eyes that can read and understand.

My mom used to say if wishes were horses then beggars would ride, so I thought if wishes were horses, abused children and children with anti social disorders and attachment disorders can learn to love,
do it for the kids, that is what matters
God Bless

Saturday Guest Blog – May 12, 2012

Welcome back! After a tough week, we need a chance to relax, take a deep breath and have something cool to drink. Let's open our minds to some blogs you might like.

I must admit I've never been a big fan of Ted Nugent during his rock and roll days, and even less now that he's become a talk radio host. Here is a great take on all things Ted Nugent:

Within the Christian Faith there are very few who we can consider great defenders of the faith which being a Christian we all should try to be. Here's a great blog. [They also have a helpful Facebook page].

Be sure to keep your eye out for a very special story tomorrow. We'll be sharing the story of woman who became the victim of a para-celebirty. But this time she isn't taking it – she's fighting back.

Genesis 15: The Covenant with Abram & Salvation – Part 2

By Mark Hunnemann

God made (cut) a covenant with His people, but this was an agreement, not between equals, but between the King and His chosen vassals. In the text in Jeremiah, the Lord reminds the people that they had solemnized their relationship with Him as savior and Lord, with walking through  the severed animal pieces. But, they had been unfaithful to their  covenant vows to Yahweh...breaking the gracious terms habitually.

In addition, the sign of the covenant between God and His people was circumcision--in the NT, the sign of the covenant is baptism (Col.2:11.12). Male infants were circumcised, showing they (and the girls) were part of the covenant community. Being part of the covenant community did not mean they were saved, but that is not our focus here. For the rest of their lives, the male Jew would have a sign in his flesh, indicating the taking of covenantal vows--having walked between the pieces. Circumcision had a positive and a negative connotation:: positively, it signaled inclusion in the covenant community (not to be equated with being saved) and God's promise of covenant faithfulness.
Negatively, it was a curse...a sign in the Jewish mans flesh, that he would be "cut off" if he was unfaithful to the terms of the covenant. If you are familiar with the Old Testament, then you will have read many times of so and so being "cut of"--that is, they were killed. It was a sign of both blessing and a curse--depending on each person's faith and obedience, or lack of it. So, circumcision was a reminder of the bloody covenantal oath they had taken. Bear with me, as the significance of all this will become clear shortly.

Back to the narrative...an eerie, horror of great darkness came upon Abram as the Lord was about to visit him. It was a darkness that could be felt. The greatest paranormal event in the Old Covenant was about to happen. The God of the bible is both awe-ful and awesome. Every godly  person in the OT who had a close encounter with the thrice Holy One, experienced what Otto referred to as the mysterium tremendum...it was not pleasant. Isaiah (ch.6), perhaps the most righteous man of his day, cursed himself and felt as if he were disintegrating, because God's  holiness revealed the bottomless pit of indwelling sin that resides in all of us. Something to consider..Satan, who is pure evil, can appear as angel of light; but God, who is infinitely pure holiness, graciously shields Himself in darkness, so that Abram might not die. The "hiddeness" of the God of the bible, is both a blessing a curse. We were made to see God face to face (which we shall do immediately upon death), but, now He must shield us from a frontal view of Himself.

Once it was completely dark, the most astonishing thing occurred. A smoking firepot and flaming torch passed between the halves of the carcasses. This is where I get chills, but not because of a cold spot. What is this, and why is it so significant? Try to picture this scene in your mind...According to the Old Testament, a smoking fire pot and flaming torch is symbolic of a theophany...an appearance of the God of fire (Exod. 3:2; 13:21; 19:18) "For our God is a consuming fire." (Heb. 12:29) Is yours? As was said of Aslan, "He is a good Lion, but not a tame one." I am confident that a greater perception of the Father's holiness would render this debate absurd.

God is passing through the pieces, instead of Abram! As if to say, "I am making this covenant with you and your descendants. I know you cannot keep the law...the harder and more sincere you try, the more  miserably you will see that you fail. But I have passed through the pieces. I...I will be torn apart...I will be cursed and killed for you, as your substitute. I will kill Myself for you. The all-powerful God maxed out in securing our redemption, as we shall see.

While on the cross, Jesus became the embodiment of circumcision and its curse...the Great Circumcised One...cut off for us.."But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When He was hung on the cross, He took upon Himself the curse for our wrongdoing." (Gal. 3:13) When Jesus was on the cross, he screamed in agony a cry of dereliction, "My God, My God...why have you forsaken Me?" For the first time in backwards eternity, God the Father was not in perfect harmony with His infinitely beloved Son. In Rom. 3:25 and elsewhere, Jesus is called a propitiation. Because He became a substitute for our sins (covenant breaking), then He became the object of the Father's wrath for us. In Acts 20:28 God is said to have shed His blood for us. How can that be, since God does not have blood to shed? Furthermore, it is impossible for God to die...how could the Trinity be broken? It wasn't.  Touching His divine nature, Jesus Christ could not die. However, since the human nature of Jesus is in perfect union with His divine nature, then when He shed human blood, then it is was God shedding His blood. In other words, Jesus fulfilled His "walk through the pieces", even though it was we who broke the covenant. Listen to these comforting words from Hebrews.

Now when people take an oath, they call on someone greater themselves to hold them to it. And without any question that oath is binding. God also bound Himself with an oath, so that those who receive the promise could be perfectly sure that He would never change His mind. So God has given both His promise and His oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to Him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls, It leads us through the curtain into God's inner sanctuary. Jesus has already gone in there for us. He has become our eternal High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.

When we made a promise as a kid, we may have said something like "stick a needle in my eye.", or as adults we place our hand on the bible. In the latter, we are appealing to an authority higher than us. However, God has no-One behind or above Him. When God passed through the  slaughtered pieces (pre-figuring the slaughter of The Lamb) He bound Himself to an oath. The truly wonderful thing is that He gave us this graphic illustration of how ferociously dedicated He is to being a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls; so that we can have, not just hope, but great hope! Our souls are anchored NOW in the inner sanctuary....so that we might enjoy great hope!

Is it not shameful, that we would debate whether a soul, purchased by divine blood and already anchored in heaven, might get trapped here? If we have fled to Jesus, God wants us to have great confidence. Confidence of what? Hope!!! The almighty God maxed out His strength on the cross, so that we might have GREAT CONFIDENCE IN GOING TO HEAVEN UPON DEATH. Hope may include more than that, but it certainly does not include less. Ghost theory obliterates any sense of confidence, not to mention, great confidence, of hope. A God-centered approach is this. This is called an a fortiori argument ...(from greater to lesser) If God did the harder thing of "passing through the pieces" for us, (the horrible atonement), then how much easier it would be for Him to bring ALL these divinely blood-soaked souls SAFELY home. HOME!!! When, we don't place this issue in the proper theo-centric perspective, we get all caught up in trivial pursuits. If we take the time to marvel at the singular honor and dignity of Christ, and the perfection of the bloody atonement, we will be too busy worshipping God to believe in this demonic lie. I'm not sure my friends have thought through just how discomfiting this notion is...fear not!

I hesitated to even approach this text because I knew I could not do it justice...may our Lord look with favor upon us! Amen

The Bible as a Reliable Source for the Workings of the Supernatural - Part 1

By Lisa Grace

Before there was the written word on papyrus, the scriptures were handed down by oral tradition. No other document has as many pieces surviving to back up the authenticity of the documents that comprise the early books of the modern Bible. Literally thousands. Homer’s Iliad in contrast, has only five surviving copies, yet no one doubts its origins or validity. But we have thousands of an earlier document, yet many try to cast doubt on its veracity. Why is that?

Because if it’s true, the implications of there being a supernatural world of which the earth is but a shadow, and that there is indeed a ruler of that universe, has implications of how we should live in this one.

No other source has had all of its prophecies come true, only the Bible.

Even non-believers in the Bible as the inspired word of God, turn to it for use in dealing with the supernatural. The creatures of the invisible world are mentioned over four hundred times, along with numerous examples of how Jesus dealt with that realm.

The Bible talks about how God exists outside of time, time was created by God, and that the Bible explores numerous other philosophical/scientific theories, which have been proven true by the scientific community. This is scary stuff to people who don’t want to acknowledge there is a God or an unseen universe outside the one we know.

When you meet someone who is truly evil, there is no doubt that forces beyond what we can see, exist. (Like electricity or time.)

There is no other book that explains the known with such accuracy. This is why believers and non-believers turn to the Bible when dealing with supernatural, and why you should too.
