The Hidden Dangers of False Teachers

By Paul Joao

"It is not only what we do, but also what we do not do, for which we are accountable."
Moliere

In reality of what the speaker is saying holds truth for this next topic, that is false testimonies and ministries, anyone that does remember Mike Warnke, a former Satan worshiper that had a book called Satan Seller. That book had a great story line and when he mentioned that he opened a ministry to help people in the occults and various other fields, everything was great until facts of his real life personal life was not in the book and his story and everything about him folded in the end he became a comedian. In the same aspect, when people who pay a price for a credit  for approval but inter a ministry that suppose to help people that might not be trained in the field but people regard these people like heroes much like Mike Warnke was before his fall. In the modern times, we hear these types of people in the paranormal field and related field in, Demonology. The fact is there is an overwhelming of people in this field, that there is a person that falls under this category and what he has done to be there. His name will not be mention however, in attempts of speaking to him on several times and trying to have publicly understood what he has created is an overwhelming of concern that he himself should not help people anymore.  What has he done, for this paper to be discuses and more important by understanding the victims of his teachings and what form of demonology that been triggered a massive demonic influence across the country by one man.

A year ago, when a friend wanted to friends with me on face book, told me a happen to her in terms of Preternatural, it was at the same time a few more friends told me a similar story that was going on. They had a common friend in the field of demonology at that time he was suppose to be a Rev, in the Christian community. They were his clients for a period of time, these clients were mostly women, at the time nothing seemed wrong until they stopped talking to him and demonic activity began with children acting very unusually like possessed by a demon.  For these women they have often asked Paranormal teams to come out and aid them with their problem, at times they the paranormal teams would not help because either they did not believe that demons was more than a religious myth and at times something would come up and they couldn’t  provide help. As time passed, activity seemed to come and go at times out of nowhere it would come and affect the people in the home. These activities included burns on their kid’s arms or marks on their kids or times the kids have been reported to trying to kill animals in one report and another child was trying to jump from a second story window. Never the less, for these women and their kids were target by a demonic influence unknown to them. What was recorded was the false teacher having a sexual flirting with a few of the mothers and had sexual intercourse with one client as a result making her condition worst with pervious  problems in the past, she was the only person that suffered a possession and attachments from this man. While he had a relationship with his girlfriend that he was living with him. Someone would think that his girlfriend knew what was going on when all these women were talking to each other. Until a face book group was formed to bring all these women together and it was then that they were not talking to him, trying to understand why all these activity going on and how or what it would take to end this activity. It was until one night that the one of the women had a soul travel to his home and seen what he was doing when people were not watching and in the next day. The woman and her boyfriend told in the group and when the other females knew about this they were, unhappy with it so they left the group not believing what the woman had seen.  For the other females went back to him, and not spoken to the other females since then. For the women that did speak to each other three main goals was how to stop this demonic activity from happening again.

So one woman suggested a conference call with the remaining woman with help with a deliverance person, in that night the woman that had a sexual intercourse with him fell into a demonic attachment and the woman with the demonic attachments told the people under the influence that that the demon had from that man on that night. Later on that night, when the session was over what they did not know is  what they had found was a dark understand of how the demonic was working in their homes in several states in matter of minutes, as one attack was in one state it would go to the next victim in the same day. Often these women would seek help from others and the ones that could try to help often would get sick or something out of the normal would stop the clients from receiving help. It was sometime later, when one of the women and her now husband had asked help from a person on face book and later on that night deliverances would be held. In that session the nature of the demonic occurrences was coming from his home as it was the source of the problem. A method in question is what is considered as a interviewing a demon, of course there is a question about the topic at hand in respect people such as Charles Kraft to others and a recent person that utilized this method is Bob Larson in his practices. He often suggests that the demon under the guidance’s of the Holy Spirit can speak the truth and it cannot tell a lie.  If people agree with this method or not looking at what data collected on that night and reviewing the previous cases a common element emerges that when a client mentions his name activity rises more than usually as it was  traced to a not common element is a territory foothold.

As if it was, suggest as a territory foothold with the current demonic in each home as what the man was doing was making the location far worse than what was going on. Another thing was he himself might have used occult practices there is no indication for these but when researching on his material there may be mistakes and after speaking to him regarding on where he got his training. As he mentions that he learned from others through books or other forms of learning possibility learning from a actual or under a person directly, also hearing other teams in the field not one person have nothing to say positive about him. So why than is he allowed to help people in the first place, and what about the victims of these dilemma. Someone said to me, that he may regard himself with other respected members of the field that is actual references of those would does have knowledge with demonology and related fields.

In the paranormal field people are trained review data and hopes to find an answer that is going on the client home, depending on what is being present itself and the nature of the problem if it is demonic. What to do with it, whatever you do talk to a trained person that has years of experiences in the field that has a good things from others who that person worked with or has well reviews. Just like Mike Warnke case, when his work ended, so should this man and the work in the field of demonology as well anything that is related. So they should remove a man that he may not do harm unto others like females and children. In the end, this case is one that people do not hear and often people hear that is a threat to clients when they do not know a teacher from right to wrong.

ParaNorman: A Wide Awake Nightmare

By Reverend Mark Hunnemann

August 17th . . . world premiere of the children’s movie ParaNorman

There is real evil in this world, and it lurks in the most innocent looking places—searching for someone to devour . . . such is the case with the soon to premier kids movie ParaNorman . I love children’s movies, but there is something distinctly different about this particular movie. It exposes and encourages children to embrace supernatural evil. How so? By having a hero who can see and talk to the souls of dead people – ghosts. Parents, you must awaken to the reality that Casper is not friendly, as we were led to believe in our childhoods.  It is past time to grasp that these alleged ghosts are pure evil; demons mimicking humans in order to deceive us.

Norman is a misunderstood boy who has the ability to see and talk to ghosts. One day, because of his unusual gift, he is called on to save his hometown from a witches curse; he liberates the town from evil zombies and, of course, moronic adults. Norman is the conquering hero, thanks to his ability to converse with earthbound spirits. It’s a 3-D movie, which is visually gripping even from the short trailer I’ve seen.

Three years ago I became alarmed at the sheer number of ghost related shows on TV. I discovered that in the last fifteen years the notion of ghosts has exploded in growth; growing from a few lunatic fringe groups to at least one-third of today’s population embracing it – the power TV and movies have in effecting radical change is evident. I also discovered there were very significant issues at stake in the debate as to their (ghosts) identity. The reason I wrote Seeing Ghosts through God’s Eyes – using science, logic, and a biblical worldview – was to show, beyond a reasonable doubt, the identity of these entities which are very real. With all our sophisticated technology we are intentionally encountering a realm which science is impotent to accurately identify. It can only describe it . . . not label it. I have discovered there are only two options: they are in fact trapped human souls, or we are being deceived on an enormous scale by demonic entities. The various layers of evidence prove they are the latter – deceiving spirits which are pure evil. That would make the notion of ghosts one of Satan’s most successful global deceptions and make ParaNorman a spiritually dangerous movie.

So, what does that tell us about the movie ParaNorman? Just this – our precious children are being exposed to a worldview that glorifies supernatural evil, which makes a parent’s worst nightmare about natural evil seem tame in comparison. If ghosts are really demons (science, common sense, logic, and the Bible bears this out), then the hero (Norman) is really an anti-hero in the worst sense. In Deut.18 we are forbidden to attempt to speak to the dead, because they are really demons deceiving us by appearing as deceased humans. These evil spirits can mimic and morph into any shape they wish (the angel of light principle in 2 Cor. 11:14 is proof).  Throughout the Bible the paranormal realm is described as forbidden territory to humans, because it is the God-ordained abode of the demonic and Satan. Hence, common sense would dictate that what Norman does is unspeakably dangerous.

Think about this for a moment: what is the qualitative difference between the known dangers of playing with an Ouija Board, what ghost hunters do, or Norman calling out to alleged spirits of the dead? None . . . and that is my main concern. “Are there any spirits in our midst?” is the question that all three have in common. Most people are awakening to the dangers of plunging into the spirit world with the Ouija Board, so why is Norman’s behavior not recognized as just as dangerous? Just because he can see the spirits, as some people really can, does not diminish the danger of his being deceived. Demons will take whatever form or shape which advances their infernal agenda. A salient aspect of our souls is their invisibility, so how could a person’s soul suddenly appear to us after death? Especially in ways that frighten us – is God going to let that happen? Not the God of the Bible! Besides, the Bible is emphatic that death is determinative of eternal destiny. In a biblical worldview it is impossible to believe in trapped spirits . . . it shows how biblically ignorant we are as a nation.

We are exposing our kids to something we ourselves are exceedingly naïve to. There is a pandemic of paranormal-mania and few are aware of the fact that basic ghost theory is intellectually bankrupt. Worse, believing in and speaking to alleged ghosts is an express ticket to demonic oppression. As proof of this, the vast majority of paranormal investigators eventually bring a paranormal “friend” home with them. Daily I deal with this little known reality.

Between the things we see and the things we fear, there are doors . . . once they are opened, nightmares become reality. Speaking with ghosts is like boarding an express train direct to demonic oppression – or worse. I have seen this happen countless times and I am fed up with the church and the media’s dismissiveness of it. This movie will be directly, or indirectly, responsible for the opening of countless “doors” for the demonic to enter through – and the ruination of our children. If ghosts are demons then this conclusion is not an exaggeration. There are a few specific dangers to be aware of.

Watching this movie will result in the following problems. First, the number of children who have nightmares (literally) will increase. If this occurs then pray for protection before they fall asleep. Second, many children will begin seeing something that is not of this world. The anecdotal evidence overwhelmingly suggests that children are much more sensitive to the paranormal realm. I am terrified to think of what our spiritually sensitive and impressionable children are going to experience. If they see red eyes staring at them from their closets at night, DO NOT dismiss it – your child is in serious danger (see below for how to seek help). Because they are children, they may see things you are unable to. We are throwing our kids to the worst wolves imaginable – the demonic. They hate all humans, including children. I am NOT saying all the kids will leave the theatre possessed, but many millions will have their minds and worldviews affected. (What God is like, is He in control? What is the after-life like? Are but a few basic assumptions that are taught).

When they leave will you be able to answer their question: “Mommy/daddy what is a ghost? Are they real? Will I become a ghost when I die?” Will you be prepared to give them a well-thought-through answer? My mom used to always say when a situation was questionable, “Better safe than sorry.” Please, be safe, rather than sorry . . . do not let your children see ParaNorman, unless you wish your life to possibly turn into a wide-awake nightmare. Jesus Christ conquered sin, Satan, and the grave and our hope of entering heaven upon death is absolutely certain if we are in Christ . . . if not, then all eternity will be a wide-awake nightmare. Flee from ParaNorman  into the loving and gentle arms of Jesus.

Seeing Ghosts through God’s Eyes. (Amazon Kindle and soft cover), the only book which comprehensively analyzes ghosts from a biblical worldview perspective.
If your house is haunted, it does NOT need to be investigated . . . it needs to be cleansed and blessed – there is never a monetary fee for this.

The Power of Christ Compels You

By Reverend J. Andrade

It is critical to understanding that being a Demonologist is a calling from God. It is not something that one should do because they have nothing better to do on a Saturday night. This is a ministry and unless one is called to serve in this ministry, they should stay away from the topic because for being involved with such matters, there will be dangerous consequences.
Anyone who's involved in Demonology and certainly Exorcism should be devoted in strong prayer life.
I have studied Demonology since I was 14 years old and there is a big difference between what books say and what the real experience deems as truthful. If one only reads theories but yet has no field experience, I would hardly call them a Demonologist.
Once again, to be a Demonologist is a calling from God and I cannot stress enough that this is a hazardous ministry and people should become educated on what those risks are before venturing on this path.
Now what's the difference between Demonologist and Exorcist, you may ask, well a Demonologist is one who has studied Demonology and is able to decipher through knowledge the difference between infestation, oppression and possession. To be considered a true Demonologist, one should have studied under a reputable Demonologist (I'm mentored by Keith Johnson http://www.nearparanormal.com/ ) or Exorcist before claiming to be one.

Demonologist does not perform the Ritual of Exorcism. This Ritual should only be performed by an Exorcist who is validly ordained.

An Exorcist is a validly ordained priest who has the proper education and prayer life to perform the  Ritual of Exorcism. This should ONLY be done by a validly ordained priest. Ordination does not mean hitting the “get ordained” button on the internet. This is not considered valid ordination.

                                                                            BUT!!

If I have studied the scriptures, knowing them by heart in Latin, Portuguese and English, studied Theology, have done deliverance ministry,

Been a missionary, missionary leader, taught Sunday School, held the High Priesthood with the Latter Day Saints (the Mormons), and received the Sacrament of Holy Orders and Patriarchal Blessing .

Would that make me an invalid Reverend? Then I will be subject to the ultimate punishment!

                                                                Deservedly, so be it!

                                Matthew 10:1 (KJV)

And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he
gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out,
and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of
            disease.

Matthew 10:8 (KJV)  (Jesus to the twelve disciples)

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out
devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Luke 10:19 KJV  (Jesus to His appointed seventy people)

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and
scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing
shall by any means hurt you.

Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV) (Power extended to new disciples)

             18
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power
is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
             19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and
                    of the Holy Ghost:
             20
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have
commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even
unto the end of the world. Amen.

Among the "all things whatsoever I
have commanded you" are included the
instructions to "heal the sick" and "cast out
devils" given in Matthew 10:8, above.

Mark 16:17-18 (KJV) (Power of believers to cast out demons)

       17
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name
shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new
            tongues;
       18
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any
deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay
hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

            Matthew 18:18 (KJV)

Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth
shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on
earth shall be loosed in heaven.

"For with God nothing shall be impossible."
              (Luke 1:37 KJV)

" . . . for with God all things are possible."
              (Mark 10:27 KJV)

GOD vs. Psychics - Parts 1 and 2

By Kirby Robinson

We'd like to announce that our new book, Talking to the Devil: The Galka Family Case, will be out shortly. If you thought that our previous exposes on fake psychics and fake para-reality shows was controversial...be prepared for the ride of your life.

Fred Brimstone, we'll answer your question about the differences between exorcists and demonologists in next Wednesday's blog.

So, for now, enjoy both parts 1 and 2 of Psychics Talk for God.

Keep current and follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/eyeonparanormal

The following blog is not meant to group everyone with spiritual gifts as fakes or frauds. There are good ones and bad ones out there, but we ask the public to use caution when dealing with anyone claiming to have spiritual gifts.

The disclaimer discussed in this blog did not come from any particular psychic but from several psychics' websites. We took the language of their disclaimer and merged it with others.

BREAKING NEWS ~ PSYCHICS TALK FOR GOD!

Yes folks, according to the many psychic supporters, you can forget prayer. You can get up off your knees, get out your credit card/s, and pay 'em because they can tell you better than anyone what God is saying!

Not long ago I noticed on my Facebook newsfeed a comment from one of my friends that they were going to treat themselves to a yearly visit to their local psychic. I posted a comment that why not save their money and just talk to God? He never charges and it won't be for entertainment purposes only. A few weeks later, she posted a response to my comment basically saying that psychics are great in interpreting what God was telling you. When I read things like that it really makes me go WTF?

When did the psychics insert themselves between us and God? When did God become dependent on psychics to tell us things? Yes, there were dream interpreters and prophets within the Bible but they didn't have business cards. They didn't do phone readings. They didn't post the disclaimer: FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY. And if they weren't 100% accurate, they got stoned to death.

When you talk to God there is no charge!
He doesn't ask anything of us when we speak to him. God is there 24/7/365 – and that includes Leap Years! He'd like us to have a personal relationship with his Son, but that's not required. We have free will, you know.

When we talk to psychics there is always a charge.
This is an odd issue to me. Often psychics will compare themselves to prophets in the Bible and claim they have the same gift. Yet in no chapter or verse within the Bible do we ever find a prophet charging for their services. Psychics claim:  "This is how I earn a living." Again, the prophets of the Bible didn't charge any money but God took care of them. If psychics have faith in GOD and their gift is from God, He will take care of them.

Often the next fallback is for those psychics to mention that doctors have the gift of healing and they are paid. That's mixing apples with oranges. Doctors may have been guided into medicine by God. He might help oversee their decisions and care given to a patient, but the patient isn't healed by the doctor in the mysterious way God heals someone through prayer and the laying of hands.

When you talk to God he is 100% accurate 100% of the time.
When you talk to a psychic -- they can go from being 0% right on up.

When you talk to God …
There is no topic off the table. If you need healing it's there. If you need guidance on a job, a purchase, whether to get pregnant, etc., He will give you advice and help any way He can. And it's not for entertainment purposes only. God says what He means and stands behind it.

When you talk to a psychic …
There are all kinds of disclaimers and limitations. There's no guarantee whatsoever.

Let's take a look at the legal disclaimer that psychics post. Again, this is not from any particular psychic, but we took a look at many different psychics' websites.

For entertainment purposes only.

How odd that a claim is made that they have a gift, yet they have no faith in that gift. So with that statement they claim they are only an actor playing a role. You pay them to play a psychic. Which means their reading is nothing more than a sham. Why? Because it's only entertainment. What would happen if you went to a church that practiced the spiritual gifts of healing, prophecy, etc., and the pastor started his sermon by saying: "THIS IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY!" Would you stay there?

Psychics claim:
That no psychic [note they say no psychic] can predict, forecast or diagnose with absolute certainty.

That's always troubling to me. It's their escape clause. I just can't say I'll be right. Would you take a job if the boss said, "I'm not sure if you'll be paid." Would you go to a doctor who said, "My advice might be way off." Would you trust an instructor who informed you at the start of the class, "Sorry, the money you just paid for the class might be wasted! I'm not sure what I'm saying is right or not, my interpretation might be way off."
It's odd that psychics claim legitimacy via the Bible and the dream interpreters and prophets, yet they say they can't be as good as them. Yet the men mentioned in the Bible like Daniel and Ezekiel have hit things on the head 100% of the time.

Psychics will say
They can't be held responsible for actions and decisions made by the client as a result of the reading.
What that means is that they can make things up and tell you what you want to hear. They won't be held liable for anything they tell you. So if they tell you that job will work out, that the business will succeed, that that boyfriend of yours is cheating on you, it doesn't matter if it's true. You act on it. The job sucks, the business fails, and the boyfriend isn't cheating. You take that advice depending on these psychics and boy do you pay the price.

But there is another problem. What if that man or woman was your Mr./Ms. Right and you backed away from them? What if that job or business was the career for you and you backed away from it? Who pays the price? You do. And your relationship with God does. [They say their gift is from God. If they're wrong, then God is wrong. So the trust in God is destroyed]. And the psychic doesn't care—they're just sipping margaritas on the beach.

Psychics say …
For medical or legal matters they won't talk about those topics as you need to see a medical or legal professional.

Again, they claim their gift is from God. Yet they have no faith in it. If they did, they could/would help people in any matter. Say what you want about Edgar Cayce, but did he ever turn someone away that came to him for medical advice?

See, I believe in the spiritual gifts. You won't find a person who believes in them more. And what I believe on top of that is that there are so many fakers, so many actors, and so many wannabes. The final and last difference between talking to God and talking to a psychic is this: He loves you yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Most psychics' love lasts until your minutes are done or you card is maxed out. And they move on to their next victim…I mean client.

Psychics Talk for God - Part 2

Did you notice the lack of response by psychics to my previous blog? Why is that? The haters and fakers would say it was simply a lack of interest in my blog. Personally, I think it had more to do with the fact that they know I'm right and they fear where I'm about to go with this blog series.

I recall being part of the new age back in the 80's. I had to chance to meet some of the top psychics, mediums, channelers, and so-called teachers. I drank with them [and we're not talking coffee], I saw their excesses [even new age teachers have groupies and bed hopping was very common], and I took lessons from them [read a bunch of religions and occult practices, mix 'em together, keep your stories straight and soak the public]. This was their best advice then and it hasn't changed. One wonders how many of them are sociopaths, psychopaths and narcissists? How many of them have absolutely no conscience and how many have sold out to the dark side? And their escape clause is that it's all for entertainment purposes only.
One of our readers asked a very interesting question after reading last week's blog.

"Not trying to stir the pot, but ministers and preachers get paid and television evangelists make big bucks. Should they feel bad for charging, too? People have to make a living."

Ministers are people who aren't just doing a job--they are responding to a calling from God. Their hours aren't from 9 to 5, but 24 hours a day. They are on call to their flock at any time. No matter if it's a natural disaster, death, illness, or crisis, they are expected to be there. They are expected to teach the word of God to their flock. They are expected to reach out to the poor, the hungry, the sick, and those who have not heard the word of God/those who are unsaved. It's not just a job to them. More often than not, unless it's a big church, they do this for little or no pay and have to work a side job to make ends meet. In many cases, they have a family to support.

Are there pastors that make a lot of money? Yes. There are new mega-churches that do pay well. Yet at the same time, it's a 24-hour a day situation. And in the mega-churches their responsibilities are even greater; not only to the flock but to the organization as well.

TV and radio evangelists: again there are two categories: the big ones and the small ones. They are responding to the call of God to carry His word to not only a flock but to the world. Again, more often than not, it's a 24-hour a day situation.

The big time organizations have the same issues, but magnified. [No, I'm not naive enough to think that all are legit: there are good ones and bad ones]. The bad ones need to be exposed -- like Bob Larson's.

So, in the case of people working for the glory of God, they certainly deserve to get paid.
Now let's look at psychics. Are they called by God to do this? Are they on call 24/7? Do they give advice and consul for free? Do they visit the sick and feed the hungry? Give water to the thirsty? Clothe the naked? No. It's simply a way to make money. Some say that only being a psychic is a small part of their lives when they are getting paid to give readings. Their life is their life. Do they teach for free? But most importantly, do they give the glory to the Lord?

Again, they say it's a gift. If so, give it to others for free. I've never heard a pastor say I will lay hands on you or pray for you for $29.95. I will share my visions/dreams I have had about you, or the gift of prophecy, for a fee. But the psychic does.

I read a book that was written by the former flavor of the month when it comes to psychics, who said their gift was uncertain. Whatever they saw was open to interpretation. Now is this a gift the public should trust? But remember: it's for entertainment purposes only, it has that escape clause.

Where in the Bible does it ever speak of God's gift[s] of spiritual insights, visions, dreams, prophecy, laying on of hands as uncertain? Would you follow a God that was kind of right sometimes? The Bible teaches us that the God of the Bible is the God of all Gods. He hears everything, He is always there and He is always right. Where does the Bible say the spiritual gifts are not certain? The prophets of old have never been off the mark. Where does it say what He says is uncertain? He stands behind His word and His gifts. And in no chapter or verse within the Bible will you find the phrase: for entertainment purposes only.

The lies these psychics tell and force themselves to follow won't help them when the end comes. Saint Peter at the gate is no respecter of personalities. The judge that sits on the most high throne doesn't buy into popular lies and tools of mass marketing and deceptions.

The Reality of War

By The Dalai Lama

Of course, war and the large military establishments are the greatest sources of violence in the world. Whether their purpose is defensive or offensive, these vast powerful organizations exist solely to kill human beings. We should think carefully about the reality of war. Most of us have been conditioned to regard military combat as exciting and glamorous - an opportunity for men to prove their competence and courage. Since armies are legal, we feel that war is acceptable; in general, nobody feels that war is criminal or that accepting it is criminal attitude. In fact, we have been brainwashed. War is neither glamorous nor attractive. It is monstrous. Its very nature is one of tragedy and suffering.

War is like a fire in the human community, one whose fuel is living beings. I find this analogy especially appropriate and useful. Modern warfare waged primarily with different forms of fire, but we are so conditioned to see it as thrilling that we talk about this or that marvelous weapon as a remarkable piece of technology without remembering that, if it is actually used, it will burn living people. War also strongly resembles a fire in the way it spreads. If one area gets weak, the commanding officer sends in reinforcements. This is throwing live people onto a fire. But because we have been brainwashed to think this way, we do not consider the suffering of individual soldiers. No soldiers want to be wounded or die. None of his loved ones wants any harm to come to him. If one soldier is killed, or maimed for life, at least another five or ten people - his relatives and friends - suffer as well. We should all be horrified by the extent of this tragedy, but we are too confused.

Frankly as a child, I too was attracted to the military. Their uniform looked so smart and beautiful. But that is exactly how the seduction begins. Children starts playing games that will one day lead them in trouble. There are plenty of exciting games to play and costumes to wear other than those based on the killing of human beings. Again, if we as adults were not so fascinated by war, we would clearly see that to allow our children to become habituated to war games is extremely unfortunate. Some former soldiers have told me that when they shot their first person they felt uncomfortable but as they continued to kill it began to feel quite normal. In time, we can get used to anything.

It is not only during times of war that military establishments are destructive. By their very design, they were the single greatest violators of human rights, and it is the soldiers themselves who suffer most consistently from their abuse. After the officer in charge have given beautiful explanations about the importance of the army, its discipline and the need to conquer the enemy, the rights of the great mass of soldiers are most entirely taken away. They are then compelled to forfeit their individual will, and, in the end, to sacrifice their lives. Moreover, once an army has become a powerful force, there is every risk that it will destroy the happiness of its own country.

There are people with destructive intentions in every society, and the temptation to gain command over an organisation capable of fulfilling their desires can become overwhelming. But no matter how malevolent or evil are the many murderous dictators who can currently oppress their nations and cause international problems, it is obvious that they cannot harm others or destroy countless human lives if they don't have a military organisation accepted and condoned by society. As long as there are powerful armies there will always be danger of dictatorship. If we really believe dictatorship to be a despicable and destructive form of government, then we must recognize that the existence of a powerful military establishment is one of its main causes.

Militarism is also very expensive. Pursuing peace through military strength places a tremendously wasteful burden on society. Governments spend vast sums on increasingly intricate weapons when, in fact, nobody really wants to use them. Not only money but also valuable energy and human intelligence are squandered, while all that increases is fear.

I want to make it clear, however, that although I am deeply opposed to war, I am not advocating appeasement. It is often necessary to take a strong stand to counter unjust aggression. For instance, it is plain to all of us that the Second World War was entirely justified. It "saved civilization" from the tyranny of Nazi Germany, as Winston Churchill so aptly put it. In my view, the Korean War was also just, since it gave South Korea the chance of gradually developing democracy. But we can only judge whether or not a conflict was vindicated on moral grounds with hindsight. For example, we can now see that during the Cold War, the principle of nuclear deterrence had a certain value. Nevertheless, it is very difficult to assess al such matters with any degree of accuracy. War is violence and violence is unpredictable. Therefore, it is better to avoid it if possible, and never to presume that we know beforehand whether the outcome of a particular war will be beneficial or not.

For instance, in the case of the Cold War, through deterrence may have helped promote stability, it did not create genuine peace. The last forty years in Europe have seen merely the absence of war, which has not been real peace but a facsimile founded dear. At best, building arms to maintain peace serves only as a temporary measure. As long as adversaries do not trust each other, any number of factors can upset the balance of power. Lasting peace can assure secured only on the basis of genuine trust.

I Was ... Wrong

By Bridgette O'Hare

I was wrong.  Deep down I knew I was wrong...but I did it anyway.  And this wasn’t the first time...I’ve done it before.
Justifications swirled around in my mind, muffling the little voice that was trying to remind me to do the right thing. Man, those self-righteous justifications sure are loud...aren’t they?
Have you ever wondered why the voice of reason - the voice of truth - never seems as loud as those arrogant, sanctimonious voices that often drown it out?  Have you ever wondered where that subtle voice comes from and why it doesn’t just shout at you:
“Hey...dummy...yeah, you... STOP THAT!”
Why does that voice speak so quietly when so many other voices are barking loudly around you?  I have asked that question - many times. Always after the fact, I hate to say.  The catch is, if I listen to the right voice I don’t have to ask myself that question afterwards.  Yet somehow I find myself asking it time and again.
Have you ever done something that you were pretty sure was wrong, but you justified your actions to yourself?  Hard to drown your own voice out, right?  I know you have.  We all have.  It goes with the territory of being human.  We make mistakes.  Sometimes big ones.  Sometimes we do things that we feel like God couldn’t possibly forgive us for.  But He will, He does, He has.  If we have truly gone before God in prayer and confessed our sins, asked Him to forgive them truly from the heart, then we are fully forgiven....no questions asked!!!
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
Don’t you wish it were that easy with people?

I know from personal experience that sometimes it doesn’t seem so simple to us.  We wrestle with those voices in our head that say God couldn’t possibly forgive us for something so horrible.  Those voices are liars!  Those voices are Satan-sent and want nothing more than to see you suffer and not TRUST GOD.  It’s this point that I personally would like to say:
“Hey...dummy...yeah, you... STOP THAT!”
(ok...I really don’t think you’re a dummy...just trying to make a point)
No matter what you have done, no matter how horrid you think it is, no matter how repulsive it truly is...God has already forgiven it if you’ve already sincerely asked.  What you are dealing with now is guilt.  Guilt is a powerful weapon in Satan’s arsenal.  I should know...I’ve been attacked with it over and over.  But God’s forgiveness trumps any weapon Satan has - every time.  You only need to have faith in God’s forgiveness.
If you aren’t sure how to come humbly, yet boldly before God to ask for His forgiving grace...keep reading.  As always, He has already given us the instructions.
“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)
God wants us to approach His throne with boldness...boldness He bestowed in us when we became His children.
“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)
Guilt is nothing more than heavy chains Satan wants to keep draping around your neck as he pushes you closer and closer to the edge, hoping to push you over and watch you drown as they anchor you beneath the dark waters. Matthew 11:28 tells us that God doesn’t want us to carry that weight around.  He wants our burden to be light.  He wants us to give that burden to Him.  Hand over the chains...they don’t belong to you anymore.

“Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.” (Psalm 55:22)
Jesus has already shouldered the sin, He has already paid the price of forgiveness, He has already bore your guilt as His own...He has done all of this through the blood that He shed for all of us on Calvary.
“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” (Ephesians 1:7)
We still have to make amends for our wrongs, we will still have to face the consequences of whatever our actions bring, but that doesn’t mean God will never bless us again.  It does mean we are forgiven and we can go on knowing that by His blood, we are forgiven, we are healed of our transgressions, we are new in the eyes of Christ, all of our sins are passed away and our slate is wiped clean.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.” (Colossians 1:13-14)

Changing Ghost Investigation Objective

By Stephen Piersall, Central NY, Deliverance ministry

What is the ultimate goal for today’s Ghost (demon) hunters? There are literally thousands of investigative teams all across this country. They do it as a hobby with fun-filled adventure, helping mankind, and for some to get that attention to self. “Look at me; I’m a celeb ghost hunter!” I think it’s a great idea to get out and help mankind. But, only if we could get all these teams to just refocus their objective. Sure I’m all for an initial investigation, of gathering what the clients are experiencing for debunk reasons. I’d like to know if they are on any psychotropic medications, illegal drugs, religious beliefs, occult activities with any family members, diary of when and what goes on there, how old is the home, electrical or plumbing issues, are their pets affected, and lastly what would they like to see accomplished from the visit. Granted the list can be much larger but I think we get the idea.

Now if we can get these teams to look at things differently, and still do their initial investigation but these times bring God along with them. I’m not saying everyone has to be a Christian, that is a personal choice, but someone within the group probably believes in God and goes to Church. Before going to the premises gather together and say a prayer for; wisdom, protection, objectivity, and compassion.  Read Ephesians 6-10-12 put on the full Armor of God. I’m not saying to impose your religious beliefs on the client, as we do have freedom of religion, but you do want to go there and be professional, respected, and above all be a good witness to God.

The equipment you bring with you should be simple; Bible, EMF detector, digital camera and recorder. You want to capture evidence, but you don’t want to communicate with any demonic presence there. Read Deuteronomy 18:9-14 and you will see the Bible is very clear regarding that we should not communicate with evil spirits. Why are we walking around in the dark with flashlights asking if there is anyone there, please come forward?  Why are investigations always at night? Do it during the daylight with the windows open and let God’s light shine in. Night time is when Satan and his minions have more control over you through personal fear, e.g., as child afraid of the dark, or monsters under the bed, etc. As part of your investigation and evil spirits confront you, you are required to cast them out in the name of Jesus Christ. Don’t use your sophisticated voice boxes, etc., you are flirting with danger!

Do you realize that Satan is a master of disguises? He can appear as a long lost loved one, a small child, etc.? He will play on your emotions; confuse you and get everyone to squabble amongst each other. They also play hide and seek. That’s why the majority of investigations come up with nothing demonic. Once you leave, the client still has to live there and deal with any demonic presence. While your home catching up on your sleep that family is being attacked by more demons and you know they're not going to call you, because you already told them the house is not haunted.

I strongly recommend that ALL these teams complete their visit by doing a cleansing. Read Matthew Chapter 10, this is where Jesus summons his twelve disciples and gives them authority over unclean spirits. Mark 16:16-18 gives you as a Christian the authority to rid evil spirits as well. On my next blog I will give you details about cleansing a home. If you find a need to get this information sooner please contact me directly stephenbearnys@yahoo.com. Satan has a foothold in the world today and his greatest achievement thus far in my opinion is to have all this confusion regarding religion, denominations, media, movies, TV, etc. of the paranormal. Read your Bible daily, even if what you read makes no sense to you today, it will one day plus the Holy Spirit within you as a Christian needs to be fed the word of God. Pray every day, I always was taught to start a prayer with asking for personal forgiveness of any sins you have before asking for anything. Why would you reward your child with a cookie when they just finished writing on the wall with crayons? As Pastor Mike Griffin Sr. Always said, “keep your soul as clean as possible”.
