Russell Brand & The Dalai Lama

Russell Brand & The Dalai Lama
The Dalai Lama and comedian Russell Brand formed an unlikely double act on Saturday as an audience of youngsters was enlightened and entertained.
Brand was master of ceremonies at Manchester Arena where the Dalai Lama addressed several thousands youngsters on the theme Century of Dialogue - Stand up and Be the Change.
The funnyman-turned-movie star had said before the event that he presumed he was asked to compere proceedings because they wanted him to be funny.
He did not disappoint the crowd of mainly under-25s - who were given free entry - as he also hosted a question and answer session on stage and obviously created a good impression with the 1989 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate. Please watch the short video & read the rest of the story at the ITV site.

Fake psychics, teachers, and healers exposed!

Does Sylvia Brown have a soul--let alone any talent?

Here are the tricks of the trade…

A real healer would've known he was being punked!

This is why you don't see any teacher/healer unless the sprit leads you [that’s the Holy Spirit not a demon].

Am surprised that the fake Benny Hinn hasn't shown up in the paranormal …

How can we tell if a psychic/prophet is real?

Where To Recognize Demon Power

By Paula Sevenfold
People of today are starting to rapidly realize there are definite, invisible supernatural forces arrayed in battle against humanity. There is strange happenings indicate that a power which is other than human is struggling to dominate the modern world of today. A restlessness exists within modern society which defies explanation except supernatural activities of Demons Power. Half the world does not believe in the devil they think by ignoring him will stop him from coming but this is not true and most people fall victims to occult activities and they do not even realize it being brainwashed. There is Christians turning on Christians, and the list can go on and on .... The Devil sees this and so does his minions and when we feed into  the negativity and such its feeding the dark ones. The irony and tragedy of it all is that less people teaches about Demon power, the more control the devil takes over society...
A lot of today's churches do not preach a lot about the dangers, more and more kids do let reality TV shows get to their heads. Like for example Teen Mom, they want a baby just to be on T.V. Its really sad kids should not have kids, they should wait for the time is right and go to college be somebody import and know they made it in life haven a future, goals achievements etc. I pray it was like this but its the influence they see on TV and it gets the mind going as The Devil does. He influences us, tempts us, break Gods Law, we start to show pride, envy, lust, sloth, gluttony and whatever else that's negative he throws our way.
ll Corinthians 2:11 ..... we are not ignorant of his devices
Mark16:15-18 and He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
v16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
 v17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
v18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
This is 7 areas of our modern day life, where you can reconize Demon power of today:
1.World of Media Frenzy
2. World of Business
3. World of Politics
4. World of Crime
5.World of New Age Occult or just Occult
6.World of Disease
7.World of Morals
Reminder unseen Demon powers dominated nations in the past. History records the sinister works of evil. The devil is playing his games right now making a lot of people believe he does not exist. Just because you do not believe in the Devil, it does not ever stop him from coming after you. Yes, demons are theological but destroying a person's free will and hell and misfortune is real! God Bless!

Invisible War for a Soul

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Ephesians 6: 10-13
By Paul Joao

The verses above is the back drop for a popular verses that deals with spiritual warfare and many teachers and pastors often use these verse however in the fields of Paranormal it can be meant for something else. In paranormal people often attempt to capture a ghost or a spirit just to claim that they can have prove an afterlife but more important they often use many methods to make themselves as trust worthily or a teacher of sorts.  Then it comes to Christianity and many people often debating on what are Christians in pursuit into the paranormal itself. From the surface why and what can Christians do is a most important factor in any thing is Christian Paranormal can preach a sermon that those who have dealt with paranormal problems can relate.  Which any one should ask how and when? In this, paper a several topics to help a person understand the statement above.

The first topic is the debate on existences of Evil, people within the Christianity often feel that it does not exist or fact that when Jesus died on the cross, Satan was beaten and Christians would not have to deal with the issue. That is what many people would say however, is it true well. If there is, Light there must be darkness and darkness needs light to be a balance in this world. In addition, the fact in Christians should live a life to please God, which is no problem but there is a world that is confused with the Jesus of their understanding. That often makes people feel like what is the truth after all, in Christian Churches people often do not speak on demons or Satan in its full context. Which recreates a problem because if people try not to speak about Spiritual warfare a person could not understand what it is a stake, for peoples knowledge of the matter?

In the paranormal field, it is a field that is base on experiments, where people demonstrate many things to prove and once they have a collection of data, they reviled it to the world.  Once the revel been release to the general audience, people with in the field or fans speak on the matter that gets people talking on the subject.  At times people in the homes feel better knowing there is a spiritual being in their dwelling or they will often ask a priest to remove the spirit at the house.  When it comes trying to speak to Christians on this aspect as they often reject the idea that this is possible, where is the blood of Jesus. Which adds to the debate on why religious people would not understand why people get themselves in involved with people who want to make a name for them.  As for the people, their lives often they want answers to the afterlife and wanting to get into the paranormal fields or follow paranormal experts. Which is not a bad thing, there is an area that Christianity that does not have a Christian paranormal Church, a place where people can come and seek the answers to the afterlife.

Which brings this last topic a passage in the Bible in book of Matthew 28:16-20 known as the great commission, a cornerstone to the Christian faith? Over the years, Christian’s ministries that deal with the preternatural were often a subject to discuss interims of this matter. That helps people seek the answers that they are seeking in their life, however there is denomination that where people need help and a Christian Paranormal team comes and helps them. In return, ask them to come to a Christian Paranormal church of some kind, a place where people can aid many people of some kind to an area that needs to be notice within the Christian faith and outside of it.  Finally, this way people can understand the meaning of the invisible war known as Spiritual warfare, or the battle of the person soul in their lives.

Musings on Paranormal Investigations: What Would Jesus Do?

By Rev. Mark Hunnemann

The paranormal community is a plausibility structure.  Because of a shared web of beliefs and assumptions, it makes it easy within this group to believe something as axiomatic without giving it any scrutiny.  That is, it provides a safe environment for certain beliefs to be accepted as plausible.  This is a sociological phenomenon, and it is neither good nor bad - depending on what is being accepted as plausible.

In this blog, I want to analyze another very basic assumption, which is rarely questioned; the validity and propriety of performing paranormal investigations.  Yes, that is right…I want to analyze whether we have non-critically accepted a belief and practice that may be, in fact, very harmful - to everyone involved.  The issues at stake are of enormous importance.

Do you realize that in the entire history of mankind there has NEVER been a grassroots movement of “ordinary” citizens to search homes for possible supernatural activity?  The last 20 years or so of large scale paranormal investigation IS something new under the sun.  The notion of anyone “off the street banding together with others to form a paranormal investigative team would have been viewed with alarm and suspicion until recent times.  To whatever extent it was done in the past, it was done by the clergy…an educated clergy.  As an ordained minister since 1985, I am painfully aware of how dismissive, scared, lazy, unloving, and ill-equipped most clergy are to supernatural activity, which is exploding in growth.  But that is every reason to awaken the clergy, and not for the laity to step in where angels fear to tread (intended over-statement).  Don’t miss the forest for the trees: the simple point is that we have become accustomed to doing something that has never, ever been done before.  Does that bother you?  I think it should.  There seems to be something immensely foolish about being the first in this regard; the reckless abandonment of the collective wisdom of all cultures throughout time.  In pagan societies, as in the Old Testament, it was still the pagan priest, shaman, etc. who was the spirit expert - and the people knew to leave it alone (for the most part).  “Fools rush in…”

Hence, we are putting investigators and clients in danger.  Just today I spoke with a woman who is terribly oppressed due to her work as a tour guide at Mansfield - a well-known demonic hotspot.  She knew of several others who have had the same issue.  Almost every day I hear of some investigator who is in way over their heads and cannot get out.  It is only going to get worse.  Two years ago (according to paranormalsocieties.com) the number of paranormal groups was about 950…today the number is about 3,550 - many of these being inquisitive teenagers who know next to nothing.

The clergy should be the expert in all things supernatural.  A biblical pastor lives, eats, and breathes supernatural reality.  Of course he should equip his sheep to be discerning of supernatural evil and how to live victoriously by the blood of Christ and the name of Jesus.  In spiritual warfare, he should teach his sheep how to be “strong in the Lord” and to put on the armor of God daily.  Moreover, it has been the local church which historically has been the gate-keepers of cultures.  Thundering against the satanic spirit of the age, the pastor is especially called by God to fight ensconced demonic evil; to free the captives of demonic oppression.  Listen to me: are you educated to the perils of supernatural evil; and even if you are, have you been called and anointed by God to be His co-worker in abolishing it?  An integral aspect of a call to pastoral ministry is the charge to vanquish the deeds of supernatural darkness.  There are exceptions…because God is God. I know some exceptions.

Another problem I have with the plethora of investigative groups is the demeaning assumption that 90% of reports of supernatural activity are misguided.  Granted this is not your average field, but what other professional service group will come to your house assuming you are probably wrong?  Most people who have lived in a place for more than a month, have a pretty good feel for it.  We KNOW the difference between normal and abnormal sounds in our homes.  Keep in mind, unless there are psychological issues involved, we have every reason to believe in the basic reliability of the sense perceptions.  What we feel, hear, sense, smell, and so on can be trusted…the clients perceptions and ours.  Would you want your exterminator coming with the same skepticism?  No, it is demeaning and denies biblical teaching regarding the accuracy of our senses, as well as people’s common sense.  Do people make mistakes?  Sure!  But not that high of a percentage…no way.

Since Satan and demons watch you set up your equipment, they know precisely how to avoid detection.  Whatever data you get is almost always by demonic design.  Knowing how fiercely they are connected to us and our property, does it not make sense that they will frequently and intentionally avoid detection?  I know of situations where this indisputably occurred.  Hence, the reveal made matters worse, because the folks are more frustrated than ever or will let their guard down.  With demons watching you, what is the purpose of an investigation?  If there is question, doing a cleansing will do no harm, but possibly great good.  That is my proposal: stop doing traditional investigations and only do cleansings /blessings.  Using equipment during this time is very effective, because the demons are no longer in control, and you very likely may hear sounds of surrender.

Whatever happened to Jesus-like trust? According to 1 Cor.13, and elsewhere, love entails trusting people…not being gullible, but a burnable trust (if we are not capable of being burned, then it is not trust).  I must confess deep frustration at this point.  If you are concerned about fraud, then seek it out during the interview, and other conversations.  We have embraced an unbeliever’s attitude: Seeing is believing.  By the time folks contact us, they are often at their wits end.  They know the shadow figures are there…they have been beaten down, raped, burned, bit, kept awake all night.  They don’t need some paranormal investigator (especially a Christian) asking for proof of something that is out to kill them.  When they call, talk to them and plan a cleansing/blessing ASAP. Better safe than sorry is my motto.  Otherwise, stop this historically unprecedented madness now!

Who's Been Stealing Your Spiritual Gifts?

By Kirby Robinson

We're currently knee-deep into two intense investigations that we'll be sharing with our readers once we return after the 4th of July holiday. Be sure to check back within the next few weeks as we take an in-depth look at a less than honest Ghost Adventures episode. We'll also prepare our readers for the Paranormal Unity Police Force, that will have official badges and uniforms! It's being formed in order to stifle any view that questions and/or differs with the para-celebrity entertainment industry.

"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 14

Folks, contrary to what many teach, spiritual gifts are there within your arm's reach. All you have to do is reach and you will find.

Quite often we think God is stingy, He isn't. And quite often we think that God is so far above us and we are mere mortals who must beg for a few crumbs from His table.

This sort of thinking has two direct influences on our view of God. If we think that we must beg, plead, whine, or shout at the top of voice to get God to do anything for us, this often leads to a life where there is little more than one where we live day by day begging, pleading, shouting, groveling on our knees looking for crumbs and rejoicing when we find just a few. Or we could just live like Elijah and simply pray "the Lord He is God the Lord He is God, amen." Secondly, many times we toss in the spiritual towel because God is stingy. Which in reality and plain sight to all is extremely far from the truth. In the book of James, James tells us that God gives generously to all without finding fault. If we are leaders or followers, churchgoers or not, teachers or students, oldies or young ones in the church God gives us all the same regardless of our faults and weaknesses.

All gifts that the Lord gives us are free. The two that are supreme, salvation and forgiveness, are given with no strings attached. Thus, the lesser gifts, which are the spiritual gifts, aren't offered to us in any different fashion. All we have to do is ask for and expect to receive it. But there are thieves lurking in the shadows. They want to see us go without. Without salvation, without hope, without healing, without joy, without the material things as well as the spiritual gifts that the Lord can give. I'm going to discuss the five most common thieves.

The first thief is the fear of the supernatural. Fear can be good, we should be fearful of lighting, fire, etc, those are things that can harm us. But fear can have a negative side if we have fear of the unknown of those things we have little control of. Then we will be fearful of experiencing new spiritual activities. Hence, we'll be living a lesser life than the one that is offered to us.

One great example can be found in the Book of Mark. After Christ cast the Legion demons out of the man who had terrorized the countryside and that no one could control, when folks gathered to see the man now wearing normal clothing and talking to Jesus, they didn't rejoice. Instead the fearful people asked Jesus to leave. Luke Chapter 8 verse 37.

The second thief is social acceptance. People like to fit in and be part of the in crowd. They want to go along with the flow, and not make waves.

Some people try to turn their backs on the spiritual gifts. They say, "I can't walk up to a total stranger and give him a word or ask to lay hands on him, I just can't."

Why not? Did Jesus Christ ever turn away from an encounter with someone that needed His spiritual help?

Think of it this way you could possibly be the person's last lifeline. You could be the person that was at the right place at the right time and had the right experiences to share and the right words to speak. And if you don't then there's guilt to haunt you for not doing what you could and what ends up happening to that individual.

Don't worry about this world. We live in it but we are not of it. Social acceptance isn't going to give you one ounce of good karma or give you one reward in heaven. So why covet it over coveting the gifts?

The Dalai Lama's Three Main Commitments

His Holiness has three main commitments in life.

Firstly, on the level of a human being, His Holiness’ first commitment is the promotion of human values such as compassion, forgiveness, tolerance, contentment and self-discipline.  All human beings are the same.  We all want happiness and do not want suffering.  Even people who do not believe in religion recognize the importance of these human values in making their life happier. His Holiness refers to these human values as secular ethics.  He remains committed to talk about the importance of these human values and share them with everyone he meets.

Secondly, on the level of a religious practitioner, His Holiness’ second commitment is the promotion of religious harmony and understanding among the world’s major religious traditions.  Despite philosophical differences, all major world religions have the same potential to create good human beings.  It is therefore important for all religious traditions to respect one another and recognize the value of each others respective traditions.  As far as one truth, one religion is concerned, this is relevant on an individual level.  However, for the community at large, several truths, several religions are necessary.

Thirdly, His Holiness is a Tibetan and carries the name of the ‘Dalai Lama’.  Tibetans place their trust in him.  Therefore, his third commitment is to the Tibetan issue.  His Holiness’ has a responsibility to act as the free spokesperson of the Tibetans in their struggle for justice.  As far as this third commitment is concerned, it will cease to exist once a mutually beneficial solution is reached between the Tibetans and Chinese.

However, His Holiness will carry on with the first two commitments till his last breath.
