Invisible War for a Soul

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Ephesians 6: 10-13
By Paul Joao

The verses above is the back drop for a popular verses that deals with spiritual warfare and many teachers and pastors often use these verse however in the fields of Paranormal it can be meant for something else. In paranormal people often attempt to capture a ghost or a spirit just to claim that they can have prove an afterlife but more important they often use many methods to make themselves as trust worthily or a teacher of sorts.  Then it comes to Christianity and many people often debating on what are Christians in pursuit into the paranormal itself. From the surface why and what can Christians do is a most important factor in any thing is Christian Paranormal can preach a sermon that those who have dealt with paranormal problems can relate.  Which any one should ask how and when? In this, paper a several topics to help a person understand the statement above.

The first topic is the debate on existences of Evil, people within the Christianity often feel that it does not exist or fact that when Jesus died on the cross, Satan was beaten and Christians would not have to deal with the issue. That is what many people would say however, is it true well. If there is, Light there must be darkness and darkness needs light to be a balance in this world. In addition, the fact in Christians should live a life to please God, which is no problem but there is a world that is confused with the Jesus of their understanding. That often makes people feel like what is the truth after all, in Christian Churches people often do not speak on demons or Satan in its full context. Which recreates a problem because if people try not to speak about Spiritual warfare a person could not understand what it is a stake, for peoples knowledge of the matter?

In the paranormal field, it is a field that is base on experiments, where people demonstrate many things to prove and once they have a collection of data, they reviled it to the world.  Once the revel been release to the general audience, people with in the field or fans speak on the matter that gets people talking on the subject.  At times people in the homes feel better knowing there is a spiritual being in their dwelling or they will often ask a priest to remove the spirit at the house.  When it comes trying to speak to Christians on this aspect as they often reject the idea that this is possible, where is the blood of Jesus. Which adds to the debate on why religious people would not understand why people get themselves in involved with people who want to make a name for them.  As for the people, their lives often they want answers to the afterlife and wanting to get into the paranormal fields or follow paranormal experts. Which is not a bad thing, there is an area that Christianity that does not have a Christian paranormal Church, a place where people can come and seek the answers to the afterlife.

Which brings this last topic a passage in the Bible in book of Matthew 28:16-20 known as the great commission, a cornerstone to the Christian faith? Over the years, Christian’s ministries that deal with the preternatural were often a subject to discuss interims of this matter. That helps people seek the answers that they are seeking in their life, however there is denomination that where people need help and a Christian Paranormal team comes and helps them. In return, ask them to come to a Christian Paranormal church of some kind, a place where people can aid many people of some kind to an area that needs to be notice within the Christian faith and outside of it.  Finally, this way people can understand the meaning of the invisible war known as Spiritual warfare, or the battle of the person soul in their lives.

Musings on Paranormal Investigations: What Would Jesus Do?

By Rev. Mark Hunnemann

The paranormal community is a plausibility structure.  Because of a shared web of beliefs and assumptions, it makes it easy within this group to believe something as axiomatic without giving it any scrutiny.  That is, it provides a safe environment for certain beliefs to be accepted as plausible.  This is a sociological phenomenon, and it is neither good nor bad - depending on what is being accepted as plausible.

In this blog, I want to analyze another very basic assumption, which is rarely questioned; the validity and propriety of performing paranormal investigations.  Yes, that is right…I want to analyze whether we have non-critically accepted a belief and practice that may be, in fact, very harmful - to everyone involved.  The issues at stake are of enormous importance.

Do you realize that in the entire history of mankind there has NEVER been a grassroots movement of “ordinary” citizens to search homes for possible supernatural activity?  The last 20 years or so of large scale paranormal investigation IS something new under the sun.  The notion of anyone “off the street banding together with others to form a paranormal investigative team would have been viewed with alarm and suspicion until recent times.  To whatever extent it was done in the past, it was done by the clergy…an educated clergy.  As an ordained minister since 1985, I am painfully aware of how dismissive, scared, lazy, unloving, and ill-equipped most clergy are to supernatural activity, which is exploding in growth.  But that is every reason to awaken the clergy, and not for the laity to step in where angels fear to tread (intended over-statement).  Don’t miss the forest for the trees: the simple point is that we have become accustomed to doing something that has never, ever been done before.  Does that bother you?  I think it should.  There seems to be something immensely foolish about being the first in this regard; the reckless abandonment of the collective wisdom of all cultures throughout time.  In pagan societies, as in the Old Testament, it was still the pagan priest, shaman, etc. who was the spirit expert - and the people knew to leave it alone (for the most part).  “Fools rush in…”

Hence, we are putting investigators and clients in danger.  Just today I spoke with a woman who is terribly oppressed due to her work as a tour guide at Mansfield - a well-known demonic hotspot.  She knew of several others who have had the same issue.  Almost every day I hear of some investigator who is in way over their heads and cannot get out.  It is only going to get worse.  Two years ago (according to paranormalsocieties.com) the number of paranormal groups was about 950…today the number is about 3,550 - many of these being inquisitive teenagers who know next to nothing.

The clergy should be the expert in all things supernatural.  A biblical pastor lives, eats, and breathes supernatural reality.  Of course he should equip his sheep to be discerning of supernatural evil and how to live victoriously by the blood of Christ and the name of Jesus.  In spiritual warfare, he should teach his sheep how to be “strong in the Lord” and to put on the armor of God daily.  Moreover, it has been the local church which historically has been the gate-keepers of cultures.  Thundering against the satanic spirit of the age, the pastor is especially called by God to fight ensconced demonic evil; to free the captives of demonic oppression.  Listen to me: are you educated to the perils of supernatural evil; and even if you are, have you been called and anointed by God to be His co-worker in abolishing it?  An integral aspect of a call to pastoral ministry is the charge to vanquish the deeds of supernatural darkness.  There are exceptions…because God is God. I know some exceptions.

Another problem I have with the plethora of investigative groups is the demeaning assumption that 90% of reports of supernatural activity are misguided.  Granted this is not your average field, but what other professional service group will come to your house assuming you are probably wrong?  Most people who have lived in a place for more than a month, have a pretty good feel for it.  We KNOW the difference between normal and abnormal sounds in our homes.  Keep in mind, unless there are psychological issues involved, we have every reason to believe in the basic reliability of the sense perceptions.  What we feel, hear, sense, smell, and so on can be trusted…the clients perceptions and ours.  Would you want your exterminator coming with the same skepticism?  No, it is demeaning and denies biblical teaching regarding the accuracy of our senses, as well as people’s common sense.  Do people make mistakes?  Sure!  But not that high of a percentage…no way.

Since Satan and demons watch you set up your equipment, they know precisely how to avoid detection.  Whatever data you get is almost always by demonic design.  Knowing how fiercely they are connected to us and our property, does it not make sense that they will frequently and intentionally avoid detection?  I know of situations where this indisputably occurred.  Hence, the reveal made matters worse, because the folks are more frustrated than ever or will let their guard down.  With demons watching you, what is the purpose of an investigation?  If there is question, doing a cleansing will do no harm, but possibly great good.  That is my proposal: stop doing traditional investigations and only do cleansings /blessings.  Using equipment during this time is very effective, because the demons are no longer in control, and you very likely may hear sounds of surrender.

Whatever happened to Jesus-like trust? According to 1 Cor.13, and elsewhere, love entails trusting people…not being gullible, but a burnable trust (if we are not capable of being burned, then it is not trust).  I must confess deep frustration at this point.  If you are concerned about fraud, then seek it out during the interview, and other conversations.  We have embraced an unbeliever’s attitude: Seeing is believing.  By the time folks contact us, they are often at their wits end.  They know the shadow figures are there…they have been beaten down, raped, burned, bit, kept awake all night.  They don’t need some paranormal investigator (especially a Christian) asking for proof of something that is out to kill them.  When they call, talk to them and plan a cleansing/blessing ASAP. Better safe than sorry is my motto.  Otherwise, stop this historically unprecedented madness now!

Who's Been Stealing Your Spiritual Gifts?

By Kirby Robinson

We're currently knee-deep into two intense investigations that we'll be sharing with our readers once we return after the 4th of July holiday. Be sure to check back within the next few weeks as we take an in-depth look at a less than honest Ghost Adventures episode. We'll also prepare our readers for the Paranormal Unity Police Force, that will have official badges and uniforms! It's being formed in order to stifle any view that questions and/or differs with the para-celebrity entertainment industry.

"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 14

Folks, contrary to what many teach, spiritual gifts are there within your arm's reach. All you have to do is reach and you will find.

Quite often we think God is stingy, He isn't. And quite often we think that God is so far above us and we are mere mortals who must beg for a few crumbs from His table.

This sort of thinking has two direct influences on our view of God. If we think that we must beg, plead, whine, or shout at the top of voice to get God to do anything for us, this often leads to a life where there is little more than one where we live day by day begging, pleading, shouting, groveling on our knees looking for crumbs and rejoicing when we find just a few. Or we could just live like Elijah and simply pray "the Lord He is God the Lord He is God, amen." Secondly, many times we toss in the spiritual towel because God is stingy. Which in reality and plain sight to all is extremely far from the truth. In the book of James, James tells us that God gives generously to all without finding fault. If we are leaders or followers, churchgoers or not, teachers or students, oldies or young ones in the church God gives us all the same regardless of our faults and weaknesses.

All gifts that the Lord gives us are free. The two that are supreme, salvation and forgiveness, are given with no strings attached. Thus, the lesser gifts, which are the spiritual gifts, aren't offered to us in any different fashion. All we have to do is ask for and expect to receive it. But there are thieves lurking in the shadows. They want to see us go without. Without salvation, without hope, without healing, without joy, without the material things as well as the spiritual gifts that the Lord can give. I'm going to discuss the five most common thieves.

The first thief is the fear of the supernatural. Fear can be good, we should be fearful of lighting, fire, etc, those are things that can harm us. But fear can have a negative side if we have fear of the unknown of those things we have little control of. Then we will be fearful of experiencing new spiritual activities. Hence, we'll be living a lesser life than the one that is offered to us.

One great example can be found in the Book of Mark. After Christ cast the Legion demons out of the man who had terrorized the countryside and that no one could control, when folks gathered to see the man now wearing normal clothing and talking to Jesus, they didn't rejoice. Instead the fearful people asked Jesus to leave. Luke Chapter 8 verse 37.

The second thief is social acceptance. People like to fit in and be part of the in crowd. They want to go along with the flow, and not make waves.

Some people try to turn their backs on the spiritual gifts. They say, "I can't walk up to a total stranger and give him a word or ask to lay hands on him, I just can't."

Why not? Did Jesus Christ ever turn away from an encounter with someone that needed His spiritual help?

Think of it this way you could possibly be the person's last lifeline. You could be the person that was at the right place at the right time and had the right experiences to share and the right words to speak. And if you don't then there's guilt to haunt you for not doing what you could and what ends up happening to that individual.

Don't worry about this world. We live in it but we are not of it. Social acceptance isn't going to give you one ounce of good karma or give you one reward in heaven. So why covet it over coveting the gifts?

The Dalai Lama's Three Main Commitments

His Holiness has three main commitments in life.

Firstly, on the level of a human being, His Holiness’ first commitment is the promotion of human values such as compassion, forgiveness, tolerance, contentment and self-discipline.  All human beings are the same.  We all want happiness and do not want suffering.  Even people who do not believe in religion recognize the importance of these human values in making their life happier. His Holiness refers to these human values as secular ethics.  He remains committed to talk about the importance of these human values and share them with everyone he meets.

Secondly, on the level of a religious practitioner, His Holiness’ second commitment is the promotion of religious harmony and understanding among the world’s major religious traditions.  Despite philosophical differences, all major world religions have the same potential to create good human beings.  It is therefore important for all religious traditions to respect one another and recognize the value of each others respective traditions.  As far as one truth, one religion is concerned, this is relevant on an individual level.  However, for the community at large, several truths, several religions are necessary.

Thirdly, His Holiness is a Tibetan and carries the name of the ‘Dalai Lama’.  Tibetans place their trust in him.  Therefore, his third commitment is to the Tibetan issue.  His Holiness’ has a responsibility to act as the free spokesperson of the Tibetans in their struggle for justice.  As far as this third commitment is concerned, it will cease to exist once a mutually beneficial solution is reached between the Tibetans and Chinese.

However, His Holiness will carry on with the first two commitments till his last breath.

Paranormal Headline Monday & Guest Blog – June 25, 2012

By Kirby Robinson

We'll always keep working hard for our readers in searching out stories that no one within the paranormal field wants you to know. Why? Because knowledge is power and the paranormal elite want to keep that power. Not that many in the elite know all that much, they just love to pretend that they do.

Do we have a new Jonestown being built in Africa?

No legit proof that anything is "real" in the paranormal, says a leading investigator…

This is why those who are unskilled in the art of hypnosis can do far more harm than good…

If he was as psychic as he claimed, he should've seen this coming …

Guess some psychics just love milking the public!

A shout out to all the fake demonologists out there! Want to learn something real? If so, stop watching reruns of Paranormal State and Ghost Adventures.

Guest Blog

It might not be a blog but I got a heads up about this group. Actually, it came from a Blogtalk radio show that seems to feature nothing but paranormal fakes and paranormal porn producers…

Worst Paranormal does their best to expose fakes within the paranormal field. We give a big thumbs up to them. Give them a read...and your support.

Genuine, Childlike Faith

By Bridgette O'Hare

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1

When I was pregnant with my second child people would often want to know if I was having a boy or a girl.  Since I wanted it to be a surprise I never asked the doctors to tell me.  However, my four year old son, Patrick, was certain that he knew.  Whenever someone would ask if I knew, my faithful little boy would pipe in boldly saying, “It’s a boy.   I know because I prayed and asked God for a brother.”  He was confident that he was going to get a little brother. He believed God for his promise that if we ask, we shall receive (John 16:24).   He had an attitude of faith that his request had already been granted even though he could not yet “see” this physically. James 4:2 states, “You have not, because you ask not…” Patrick asked and, low and behold, his little brother arrived.   Granted, we do have to be careful what we ask for sometimes.   There have been moments when I heard Patrick mumble “what was I thinking?” and other times, when Patrick is rather annoyed with Dade, the little brother he so faithfully awaited, I hear Dade quickly remind him “well, YOU prayed for me!”  (There’s nothing like brotherly love, is there?)

This childlike faith is required for us to receive the blessings that the Lord longs to give us.   When we pray and make a request of God we shouldn’t murmur to ourselves “I hope this works out.”  We should have the confidence in God that little children have. We should believe that our prayer has already been answered and wait patiently for God to bring it to us in HIS time.  At four years old, Patrick had no concept of the amount of time he would have to wait for his little brother, though he did often ask “how much longer?”  He simply believed that God would send him his request.  Never once did he question God.  I can’t lie, I found myself wondering how I would explain it to him in the event that his little brother turned out to be a little sister instead. My faith was not as genuine as Patrick’s was. Thankfully God took care of that one for me.

Looking back I realize that I simply lacked confidence in God.  And who am I to question the dependability of God? He has always been there for me.  Genuine faith is not professing that you believe… genuine faith is actually believing what you profess.  It is having confidence in the dependability of God...and who is more dependable than He is?

Our Christian lives begin because of our faith in Jesus Christ, they are lived by faith and they end in faith.  Our faith is strengthened by spending time in God’s word, if we do this... it is guaranteed that our faith will grow and we will have more childlike confidence to ask the Lord for the blessings we long for…even the ones we think may be too much to ask.  Maybe it’s time that we stopped insisting our children grow up and start thinking about learning to be a little more like them...childlike in our own faith.

Hebrews 11:1 is a well known verse.  Many Christians can quote it fluently, but quoting it isn’t enough...do you live it?  Do you truly have faith in God for the things you are hoping for, but cannot yet see?  How childlike is your faith?

Don't Play With Fire!

By Stephen Piersall, Deliverance Ministry, Central NY

Why is it among the zillions of paranormal investigator groups that many use provocation? The Bible is very clear that we should not communicate with evil spirits, but yet we always have someone walking around in the dark asking “Is there anyone here tonight?” Why are we trying to speak to ghosts (demons)? Are we hoping to hear something that would just scare the daylights out of us? Or maybe, hear the voice of a small female child, so that we can help them? The truth of the matter is quite simple; Satan and his minions is a master of disguise. They know what we want to hear, and will perform according to the circumstances.

The term “provoking” originated from the early days as in religious provocation. Religious provocation is used by clergy to make demons show themselves in order to gather the proof needed to get the “Catholic Church” involved, etc. Clergy and Christian Demonologist are trained when attacked in how to successfully defend themselves and fight back. A paranormal group usually does not have such background.

For a paranormal group to provoke whatever is in the home is not only foolish but it is also tremendously dangerous! You don’t know what you’re dealing with and many paranormal groups have learned this the hard way. Some have been attacked physically, emotionally and mentally. Can you really defend yourself against an evil force that you can’t see? This should be reason enough not to ever provoke or challenge something that may be in someone’s home. You need to be responsible to the clients. If you plan on provoking during your time there, make sure you get the resident’s permission first and explain to them what religious provocation is. This way if things get out of hand the clients can leave. Never, use provoking without the permission of the homeowner. Provoking should be an absolute last resort during your time there.

My point is clear; don’t get trapped into the culture of Para-celebs and the media by provoking. Do go out and try to help someone who is asking for a paranormal investigation. But, make sure you do your homework first. Research, interview, and debunk are terms that I have used all along. Now it is biblical that if a Christian states they are being haunted, we should trust them, and proceed accordingly. If the family is not a Christian, all the praying, cleansing and hope that you might have of succeeding is wasted energy. Evil will dwell way after you have left the premises. Satan and his minions are smart enough to lay low while you attempt a cleansing, but will be right back at it with even more force after you leave. Remember the client will still be living there while you go home and review hours of tapes and recordings and you probably won’t get back with them for several days.

The only sure way to help someone is first YOU must be right with God. Many have said that a 3 day fasting should be done and there are many ways to fast. During your preparation you need to pray and pray and even get a prayer group involved to help you gain wisdom, courage and protection. YOU will not be successful in ridding an evil entity! God will remove it and use you as his tool, but we must be dedicated and pure in heart of our intention dealing with this. Why are we not using God and the Bible as tools whenever we go on a "ghost" hunt? I think this is a gross misrepresentation of any Christian who is involved with any paranormal investigation. If we do an investigation and are provoking all on our own, how do you live with your conscience as you sit at your church on Sunday morning? How will you explain yourself the day you die and bowing before God Almighty?

Don't play with fire!

Understanding the Appeal of Believing in Ghosts

By Rev. Mark Hunnemann

In the not so distant past, interest in ghosts and contacting the dead was relegated mainly to fringe cultic groups.  I think it is important, especially for those who do believe in earthbound spirits (ghosts), to realize just how recently this popular belief has exploded into the mainstream.  It is so hard, but so important, to stand outside our own culture and analyze the flow of history.  I’m not talking about merely sitting around the campfire telling ghost-stories…most of us did that - even in the Boy Scouts!  No, I’m talking about what has become so enormously popular today…serious belief in trapped spirits.  In the span of 15 years or so, the paranormal has become the new normal.  Pop culture is immersed in spiritism.  Why?  What is the appeal?

First, there was the influx of eastern religions in the 1960’s.  It has been said that the New Age was conceived in the 60’s but was born in the 1990’s - a 30 year gestation period.  I have corresponded with Dr. Peter Jones (NT professor), who I have mentioned before had been desk-mates for several years with John Lennon.  They also both came over here for the first time within months of each other in the mid sixties; Jones to seminary (I think), and Lennon to world-wide fame.  Ed Sullivan...haha, what a trip he was!  Anyway, the Beatles were a huge catalyst to the infusion of eastern thought forms and practices.  This move away from physicalism (physical is all there is) has made our cultural landscape fertile ground for the growth of belief in spirit-beings.  After gestating for three decades, Demi Moore and Patrick Swayzi made a movie, and Hollywood has never been the same - and neither has American spirituality.  During this gestation phase, a paradigm shift was occurring; a dying Christian worldview was being replaced by something that re-introduced spiritual reality.  Magick was back!  The spiritual bankruptcy of materialism created a yawning void which eastern religions seemed to fill.  Which brings us to the second reason for the appeal to spiritism…

Sadly, tens of millions of Americans have become interested in the occult (and belief in ghosts is occultic) due to being burned out on traditional religion.  Four years ago I was seriously seeking to start a new church, under the auspices of my denomination.  During this time I went door-to-door, not to evangelize but to ask people why they thought so many folks were leaving the church, and what they would like to see in a church.  Irrelevant sermons, focus on money, and a lack of spiritual reality and observable love were some of the main reasons my neighbors gave as to why they had given up on the “hidden” God of Christianity.  But being made in God’s image, they still had a visceral longing for spiritual reality.  Imagine the electricity when they see real supernatural activity on TV?!  That is massively appealing to spiritually starved people.

Thirdly, folks find ghosts appealing because we live in an experience-oriented society.  As Dr. Ron Rhodes says in his excellent primer, The Truth Behind Ghosts, Mediums and Psychic Phenomena, on the paranormal in general, “Rather than embracing an objective, factually-based faith, resting, on divine authority, many today are seeking mystical and emotional experience.” Folks will go to great lengths to experience spiritual reality, and in so doing they often become non-discerning regarding supernatural reality.  Such is the overriding nature of the obsession with experience.

Surely a powerful appeal of ghosts is the fascination with the supernatural.  Most of us were afraid but strangely drawn to ghost stories or scary movies when growing up.  This natural fascination with the paranormal has led many people to mess with Ouija boards, conduct séances, or talk to the dead.  However, they often don’t realize the Bible condemns such practices.

The fifth reason the notion of ghosts is so appealing is the desire to have evidence of the afterlife.  Unless Jesus returns first, all of us will die.  Though we speak of death as being natural and normal, it is not; it is the violent disruption of the vibrant flow of life.  We were made body/soul composites which were originally designed to stay together.  The Bible says we “have eternity in our hearts.”  The paranormal community loudly and proudly proclaims that irrefutable evidence of ghosts gives irrefutable evidence that we continue to live after we die.  It’s hard to illustrate just how exaggerated and appealing this aspect of alleged existence of ghosts can be.  Many paranormal investigators get involved, at least in part, to answer the nagging question of whether there is evidence of life after death.  It needs to be pointed out that the most compelling evidence of supernatural beings does NOT prove the afterlife; it simply proves there are supernatural beings, whose identity is demonic.

The longing to communicate with deceased loved ones is another very appealing aspect of the notion of ghosts.  It is also the primary reason psychics and mediums are so popular.  They routinely say that ALL of our dead loved ones on the other side want to communicate with us.  Having lost both of my parents, as well as four siblings and a granddaughter, it is understandable to me why this desire to communicate is so strong.  Frequently people will claim that a deceased loved one appears to them, years after they have died, in the form of a ghostly apparition.  Again, it is hard to express just how exaggerate this aspect of ghost appeal has become.  It has caused many people to do what they know is wrong (attempting to speak to the dead…Deut. 18:11-14) because of the intense desire to make contact with a lost loved one.

The seventh reason ghosts have become so appealing is that they allegedly answer life’s deeper questions.  We noted already that evidence of ghosts supposedly gives evidence of life after death.  And since psychics/mediums say all religions are the same, then it would not matter what you believe in order to go to heaven.  If their view were correct, we would all live with confident joy and not fear death.  Is it becoming clear now why I keep saying that the notion of ghosts raises questions of titanic importance?

A feeling of control can be tied to belief in ghosts and communication with them.  Not just lonely teens, but many adults as well, experiment with paranormal phenomena in order to control or influence their circumstances for the better.  As Dr. Rhodes says, “This gives them a false sense of control and a misguided sense of significance.”  Communicating with spirit guides and lost loved ones has become a new way of determining how to navigate life.

I am sure that you could add reason upon reason why the belief in ghosts is so appealing.  This is not meant as an exhaustive list, but as an attempt to explain the explosive new popularity of belief in ghosts.  I can, on a visceral level, understand why the notion of ghosts is so appealing.  However, objective truth is what defines reality, and not what my desires are…no matter how strong the feeling might be.  The question we should be asking is not “is the notion of ghosts appealing?” but rather, “What does God’s word have to say about ghosts?”  In the final analysis, it is not any of these notions by themselves that have caused the belief in ghosts to skyrocket; it is Satan craftily working WITH them in his grand dark conspiracy.  Are you an honest seeker for truth?   Then realize the power of wanting something to be true could be affecting your ability to discern supernatural evil.  Conceived in the 1960’s but born in the 1990’s (at least in the US), this is certainly one of Satan’s most successful global deceptions of all time.

Do You Believe in Angels?

By Lisa Grace

Recently I was asked in an interview if I believe in angels or the supernatural as the way it appears in my fiction books.

Yes, I believe in angels. Have I knowingly seen any? No.

However, I have met some disturbed people that I believe are possessed, and no, the mental health counseling and medication did not help them.

Do I believe events could happen the way they do in my books? Yes and no. It’s a work of fiction and as such, many incidences are over the top. I believe in today’s modern world the supernatural one does prefer to remain hidden. It’s easier to operate when people don’t believe it exists. I believe all “ghosts” are demonic manifestations leading people away from truth.

If a being, (no matter how beautiful as Satan can appear as an angel of light) contradicts the Holy Scriptures, it is evil and sent to lull people into believing a false view of the afterlife to their detriment. The devil is recruiting for his army through deception.

Your best defense? Know your scriptures. Understand the supernatural world and its goals. Put on the armor of Christ and be prepared for spiritual warfare.

We Have to Ask? A Follow Up to Convicted Sexual Paranormal Predators

The above is Mr. Hunnicutt's bio from 2009 as featured on PARANORMAL INFORMATION SOCIETY.

We'll have some questions to ask about Mr. Hunnicutt. Will they get any responses? Doubtful. It seems that within the paranormal field, when it comes to money making and being a [real or fake] para-celeb, this will trump being a convicted child molester.

1. When Mr. Hunnicutt was active, and if he's still active, are clients informed [especially clients with children] of his criminal past? If not, then why?

2. We notice that certain well known para-celebs are listed as working besides Mr. Hunnicutt. Here are a few of them:

Keith Age

Patrick Burns
Patti Starr
Chip Coffey
Reese Christian
Sharon Johns

We have to ask if they knew about his past as a convicted sex offender? If not, would they take a pledge not to work with him in the future and avoid working with child molesters?

3. We note that he has been a speaker and made appearances at such major conferences as MID SOUTH, run by Keith Age, and Scarefest, run by Patti Starr. Again if they knew about his criminal past, why have him at the conference?

4. Mr. Hunnicutt has an agent of sorts:

Haunted Entertainment
c/o Dan Guthrie
P.O.Box 1414,
Pampa, Texas 79066
hauntedentertainments@gmail.com
(806) 664-0416

So does this company regularly represent child molesters?

This proves my point that I've been making for quite some time. The paranormal entertainment industry doesn't care about ethics or people. It puts cash above substance. It puts deception over truth. It puts its own needs and wants over the safety and well-being of the public. Will it change? No. Because they are blinder than I am. When they look into the mirror, they can't see the laughing demon looking back at them.

Issue 76 – Convicted Sexual Paranormal Predators

 By Kirby Robinson

It's been a busy week within the paranormal field. What's been happening? More misdeeds, more deceptions, more dirty deeds-- and we've caught them all. Apparently, the rest of the paranormal press is either afraid to tell the truth, or they're lounging in bed with the fake para-celebs themselves. Remember, these are the same folks who worked alongside a known, convicted sexual predator -- and said nothing about his past. Does being a sexual predator get trumped by being a para-celeb? I don't think so. Would the public, if they were presented with the facts? Well, we're about to share them.

Convicted Sex Offenders & the Paranormal Don't Mix

We've been receiving lots of emails over the past few weeks concerning the Wisconsin Paranormal Conference that was held earlier this year. It's come to light that a certain well known para-celeb was one of the main speakers. The hosts of the conference gave absolutely no indication that a sex offender would be there.

I have no tolerance for child molesters. It's one of the worst crimes that any adult, male or female, can commit. The young victim goes through pain and suffering that impacts them and all the loved ones around that child. And not just for a few days or weeks, sexual molestation can and will have a major influence on a person's psyche. I know because I myself was a victim of sexual abuse at the hands of a person [outside of my family]. When it comes to child molesters, there is a 99% recidivism rate. To date there is no cure, no pills, no shots, and no behavior modification. Checking ones thoughts is only at best slightly effective. Even chemical castration doesn't work, as they'll just turn to violence to satisfy their desires.

That's not to say the person we speak of has continued in this deviant behavior. He may have a clean record since his conviction, but in my mind, as well as the minds of many, this sort of crime should be a one-strike deal. Yes, convicted child predators have to make a living, but there are many ways to make a living outside of the paranormal field.

People who work in the paranormal are invited into homes and offices day and night. Children can be there. Opportunities can easily present themselves to the convicted child molesters. [That's why they can't be a teacher and have this on their records]. The same should be said about a person being a paranormal investigator.

Everyone had this story when it comes to the paranormal press yet no one is asking the questions we're asking--did those who organized the conference know about this prior to the event? If so, why did they allow the person to speak? Did the other speakers at the conference know about this person's past? If so, why did they share the stage with him?

We've been told that some of the participants and organizers have been approached about this matter and their response has been that it's just a bunch of nasty rumors spread by people who are jealous and have an ax to grind. [Those words are very familiar to us every time we release a story. That's the mantra that is used: rumors and jealous people talking behind peoples' backs]. It's not something I enjoy doing. It brings up personal demons I would prefer not to confront. But the public must be protected.

The Wisconsin paranormal conference was held a few weeks ago. If you click on links to the site, it's already gone. But if you click on the link here you'll see the speakers:

You'll notice the bio for ROBERT HUNNICUTT.

They list his activities, his many awards, and the names of para-celebs he has worked with in the past. However, they fail to inform the public that he was convicted of sexual assault against a child. The case was heard in the Superior Court of Jones County, Georgia. Criminal action #9799. The charge was aggravated child molestation for committing a sexual act on a child under the age of 14. The victim was his own [biological] daughter who was then 2 ½-years-old. If you want to read the lurid details, feel free to look up the court records and read them for yourself. This is a family-friendly blog and we feel it would be inappropriate to post them here.

But the story doesn't end with that conviction. Apparently, Robert Hunnicutt has had difficulty with adult woman within the paranormal field. I won't drag their names out into the public. If they choose to go public, that's up to them. In at least one case a restraining order was issued by a judge [the judge was informed and knew about his past record].

Prior to the conference taking place, Robert Hunnicutt opened up a Facebook page in which he heavily promoted the upcoming conference. Under Facebook's rules and regulations, a convicted sex offender is not allowed to have a page, for obvious reasons. Facebook management was informed of his conviction, the evidence was provided, and the page was quickly removed.

It's a sad case to report, but report it we must do. The paranormal community needs to say no to anyone that has a record when it comes to sex crimes, whether they are men or women, well known or unknown. There are far too many dangers that can lead to innocent children and adults being harmed. People shouldn't fear inviting convicted sex offenders into their home. Para-celebs should say no to any conference that features such individuals, and they should refuse to work alongside them on radio, TV, and film.

The above video is a message and a warning that we all can learn from. If we don't, then the paranormal realm will end up being a bigger circus of frauds, fakes, deceivers and soul stealers than it already is.

The Dalai Lama Attends Mass

By Tsem Rinpoche

On 27th May, His Holiness the Dalai Lama paid a visit to Vienna and while he was there, His Holiness attend Mass and visited the St. Stephen’s Cathedral!

When I saw these photos, I felt a sense of joy as I truly believe in religious harmony. It is so nice to see leaders from major religions coming together and respecting each others’ beliefs. No religion is wrong. No religion is lower than another. All religions advocate peace, compassion and love for one another… As religious persons, the best way to express spirituality is to be compassion, tolerant, forgiving and respectful of others’ religion/culture and race.

Do take a look at the images below taken by the International Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies, Austria. There is a photo of His Holiness, the prince of peace, making prayers at St. Stephen’s Cathedral! It is very heartwarming to come across such a scene…I have always loved this about His Holiness.

I hope that everyone appreciates these photos. It brings tears to my eyes when everyone respects everyone’s religion. That is the way it should be.

Here is the link to all the pictures.

Cabala And The Rejected Doctrine Of Lies!

In turning to the Bible on 1 John 4:1 , this passage states  Beloved believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: Because many False Prophets are gone out into the world....

There are many sophisticated Occult manifestations in the intellectual world. One of these is Cabala....

What is Cabala?

Cabala means, according to the Webster's Dictionary:

A. Cabal, French for intrigue, a plot, a tremendous influence.
B. A small group with secret design or doctrines.
C. Cabala, in Hebrew, an Occult Religion or Philosophy developed by certain Rabbis based on mystical interpretations of scripture.
D. Cabala is the secret artifices of Machinations of people, of close designs and not for popular consumption.
E. The Cabala is hidden knowledge and Experience. Its Doctrines are handed down orally through Generations.
F. From Early Jewish History, Cabala was a traditional framework for laws, legends, and ideas to become associated with the Pentateuch, the books of Moses: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.
G.The word Cabinet, such as a President's Cabinet, evolved from Cabala. It means deep discussion by a few.

The Cabala has three Aspects the Emanation (Sephiroth ) doctrine, The methods for interpreting the scriptures and the Redeemer Doctrine " the Cabalists say all scriptures have hidden meanings. For example: The phrase, " no fire on Sabbath,'' is interpreted: Fire is light, so turn on the light to be warm''. Remember Cabala is strongly based upon the symbolism of Numbers. The Rosicrucian Order rose up out of Cabala, as any inordinate desire for super natural always leads to Occult infiltration. Esoteric searchers for the Unknown information, or secrets of Divinity, and spirituality ,can terminate in the occult. The Metaphysical concepts of Human destiny can lead into the Occult. All deep Mental conceptions must be God- directed or Satan will step in, intrude and misguide.

The Emanation Sephiroth Doctrine according to their beliefs that Cabalist conceived that God's attributes were actually emanations from him. These Emanations  were beings per say. They were produced by a voluntary retraction, or self limitation of God. This retraction was considered a birth pain of creation. To the Cabalists, God was the infinite, the boundless, the Limitless, the En or Ain Soph.  The lower particular emanation, the more removed it was from God's sublimity and transcendence, the less perfect it was.The Ten Emanations were repeated on four levels so that there were forty regressions from God to our world. A variant scheme limits the number of worlds to three; the worlds of Angels, Celestial bodies, and Elements according to the presentation of this subject given by Menahem Recanati.

So what exactly is the spiritual value of Cabala? How many Jews, Christians and Esoteric searchers for  the truths have wandered in Cabalistic Labyrinths? Can such wanderings be justified? If not, can historical understandings at least clarify the motivations involved? The Truth - Value the Emanation (Sephiroth) Doctrine. This Cabalistic Doctrine must be Rejected on two counts. First , its truth is not sufficiently attested by spiritual revelation, the only means by which such metaphysical concept could in principle be verified. The Bible does not mention the Sephrioth anywhere within it. More important, the terror of some passages of Scripture seems definitely to contradict such a notion...

A. 1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man of Christ Jesus.
B. Colossians 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshiping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind .. V.19 and not holding the head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together , increaseth with the increase of God.

C. ll Peter 1:20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
this means the Greek word for ''Private'' and it can also be translated "Secret".

Spiritual Beings

By Paul Joao

If you have understanding, hear this; listen to what I say - Job 34:16

Over the years people within the Paranormal and Religion highly debate that demons and spirits are different energy beings as such a spirit is a person that once lived on earth and its trapped in a paradox level just like ours in the living. However, demons are a different topic most of the religion would say that it is a negative energy, which prays on people’s fear. Just like the verse above mentions in Job, is a great verse to being a paper, such as looking back during my years of understanding this topic, that people may be misinformed when people have not seen Spiritual beings in the first place. In my option alone, are Demons and Spirits are the same? If so, what are they in terms of how people view the material within the paranormal and the religion?

In this paper, the topic will be view into several parts as at attempts to be better understand in a general study. One of the first things that people should know is in the paranormal and religion has made great attempts to capture spiritual beings. As such, people have often recorded spirit like forms in many times though evp, photo and video. These basic three media deceives had more luck with spirits than demons. Often people  have understand the content and regard demons as a myth and many people in the paranormal mostly scientific  communities often referred spiritual beings as a energy forms that comes and goes with our world. They often disregard what people in the religious communities’ belief, at times cause a debate, and at time booth communities come together once their options were respect.  Which will bring this to the deeper understanding interims of spiritual beings?

One aspect that a person should understand is what spirits are; logistic answer is dead people who live on another plane of exists. The problem is people that believe in an afterlife and what to know more. In the Bible from the Christian background, a person who has chosen a life with Jesus would live in heaven, and the unsaved would stay in hell. That is mostly likely the answer however, in a religion point of view due to a term that is call exclusive theology. There is nothing wrong with it, and it is an open and closed subject for any matter. Therefore, why people transfixed on the subject is, is it because of conduct in national television with shows like Paranormal investigators who sometimes claim a spiritual being in the clients or a historic building. That sparks people interest to making a group that what to claim a presence as well.  Even in terms of documentations of these spiritual beings is sometimes making these Spiritual beings realist and sometimes movies that show a spiritual being that look like a person that lived, and makes people think it can be a realist thing. What is it then, in short if a child that appeared to a person what does the living person do. As something simple as these, people would categories many points of view such as, it is a demon, someone imagine, it is a deceased person, and more. It is a great topic to study from a research point, because watching how people say what the spiritual being is. For many people who have research the spiritual being tends not believing, in demons, not to say that they will not respect it.

The second aspect is demons, from a Christian point of view is a fallen angel placed on earth to do Satan work on deceiving the world.  Than it would make a strong case but from viewing many others such as the scientific belief that  it’s just to scare people and at times many people would agree that it would be proper to call it, “negative spirit being” the idea is that it does not sound like a religious term. Due to the religious, view those demons people in the communities often do not realize that they are talking about the same content.  In fact, most people think they can speak to the demons in the first place, which people have learned from time to time that demons do not respond to them as they thought it would be.  This causes people to respect the seriousness of how to deal with authority, which leads to people who have the knowledge and wisdom and a gift of discernment, mostly have a strong Biblical understanding. Who are these people?, Pastors or a Biblical speaking person that deals with the preternatural background such as the occults or a working knowledge what to look for with a creditably approved by those who been in the field . When a case when a demon is claimed to be at the home a person that is mentioned above is called and comes to the person’s home and help them, to double check to make sure that it’s a demon that is there or not. It would be that person authority to decide at times if there is a demon or a spiritual being what to do with it.

Of course, the natural thing is calling on Jesus to help them as simple as it sounds from a Christian aspect, the thing to look for is closing a vortex that allows beings into enter our world, however in the other religions like New age / occult would perform a ritual to remove the being from the property. Even when the scifientic person would disregard as it nonsense and it is in the person mind, for a medical doctor to evacuate the person.   As people debate on what to do with these spiritual beings on what are a demon and a spirit? One thing is clear, as people options becomes more highly debated the final word is found in the bible in the first book Timothy chapter four beginning  in verse one, though sixteen as it should a rule that people should take with them when discussing topics of this nature.  Therefore, if we asked what are spirits and demons and if they are in the same category from a Christian Background, a person would remember this verse. As it says, “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world” 1 John 4:1.
