"The Doctor Will See You Now." A Look at The Demon Doctors

By Ryan Harshbarger

Dear Archangels, I, who am deserving of nothing, beseech thee, go now to Our Lord and Our Lady of Good Success and intercede for me, as this poor servant desires to prostrate himself before Them and submit to whatever they desire. As my heart and my entire being belongs to Them, may I, like a small drop of dew, lose myself in the immensity of the Divine Being.  Amen.

Over my 16 years of being involved in the field of paranormal research I have met many people and have come across thousands of theories and methods of contacting and cleansing haunted locations. I have witnessed everything from charlatans take advantage of people's weaknesses and I've been present when valid responses have brought hope to many searching for answers from the other-side. Recently I have noticed a shift in the paranormal community's evidence and their explanations as to what is causing homeowners and business owners to experience things they cannot explain. Perhaps all the recent skepticism that has not only discredited most of the evidence and in some cases even brought shame to many teams has made them look for a new angel that's not so easy to debunk. Whatever the case it seems that demons are the new fashion in paranormal research; everyone seems to be jumping on this bandwagon and trying desperately to ride this crazy train to the very end.

If you are serious about researching the paranormal and have been on more than 5 investigations with a team that actually knows what they are doing, then you're usually aware that almost 99% of the time most of the claims can be explained by natural phenomenon and in many cases just poor upkeep of the locations. Most of the time you're just sitting in dark creepy rooms talking to yourselves for 6 hours without yielding any results at all, “that's just part of it.” In almost all the various spectrum's of this field there is always a group or an individual that claims to be an expert, this I scratch my head on because paranormal research is by no means a perfect science. If it were, then the  legitimate scientific community would acknowledge it as such. Right?

While roaming the Internet I happened to stumble across a team called the “Demon Doctors”. I was floored by this and had to get a hold of these guy's and hear their story, so I sent an email to them and asked if we could do a little interview so I could find out what this mystic and pragmatic pitch was all about. The members are Dr. A. Hasankhani and Dr. J. Dodd. My first question obviously was “are you guy's really doctors?” “Neither of them hold a PhD or an Md” so I was kind of confused. Dr. Hasankhani's explanation to this was “well when you're in need of help and you want someone professional you go see a Dr.” Both gentlemen were very humble and seem like what they're doing is for the benefit of those in need so I gave them praise on that because that's what the world needs more of, “people helping people.” I was curious about how they vanquish the demons and unclean spirits so I asked if they had any affiliation with any church or if their exorcisms were sanctioned by a priest and both denied any affiliation with any church whatsoever. My personal beliefs on this matter are that “the Church should always be involved or at least briefed.”

Their methods are very unique, Dr. Hasankhani informed me that he uses spirit guides to asses demoniacally infested homes and that him and his partner can actually “call upon the Arch-Angels to enter the homes and vanquish the demons.” They can even do this over the phone, (yes over the phone) they claim to be the only humans on earth that have this gift bestowed upon them to contact and utilize Arch-Angels to engage in combat with demons that are terrorizing families across the U.S.

I asked both gentlemen how they came to have these powers and Dr. Hasankhani's response was that his “spirit guide” informed him of his ability and Dr. Dodd had actually been involved in an accident where he was clinically dead and brought back to life, he later ran into Dr. Hasankhani and he informed Mr. Dodd that he too possessed this ability to call upon the Angels. Both men don't seem concerned with the churches view on people performing these exorcisms and vanquishing demonic forces because both men view their abilities as gifts from GOD. I did go over the Cannon Law 1172 paragraph's 1 and 2 with both men, Dr. Dodd's response was “there are many manmade laws out there and the Churches laws are manmade law, no disrespect to the Church by no means but they are manmade laws.”

So do these two guy's honestly have a GOD given ability to call upon Angels to vanquish demons? Well, unfortunately I was unable to contact any of their clients to get any sort of validity towards their claims. They do however post many compelling testimonials on their website but by no means can I call that creditable because all the client information is kept sealed tight. I have been a believer in spirit guides for quite some time now and firmly believe that we all do have protectors on the other-side that keep us in check, so that I can buy into but the claims of being able to call upon Arch-Angels without  any theological background nor any deep religious support other than self proclaimed connections I kind of have a hard time buying into. “Personal relationships with GOD is a wonderful thing.” I think that everyone has that connection and if they were not so distracted by all the day to day routines of life we could perhaps hear his calling like those that came before us. Mankind has so many things that push us away from the creator and the theological guidelines that are meant to lead us towards the light, it's sad actually all the deaf ears that have been turned to such a beautiful message.

Obtaining higher levels of consciousness are practices that date back to the first steps of mankind. So if these two gentlemen have somehow managed to tune into a frequency that most cannot, “then why not share this gift with the world?” They don't charge for their services so we can't dub them scam artists by no means, but we can look into a theory of “the power of suggestion” perhaps the clients   that they are helping are not dealing with “biblical demons” but “personal demons” per say, all these clients may need is a guiding voice to somehow use a method of “subliminal rearrangement.” I know that may sound a bit out there as well but look at it like going to counseling. Through a method of breaking down the symptoms and claims, they are able to use a calming voice that somehow convince the clients that what was tormenting them has been cleansed by Angelic intervention. With that refreshing news they are able to take the proper steps of getting a handle on their own troubles. By no means am I saying that this is the explanation of what they are doing, but the human brain does work in very mysterious ways and sometimes a person just needs to be told “everything is OK now” and that can then become the catalyst of a new beginning for them. “So is that a bad thing?”  Are these guy's really calling upon Arch-Angels? That's a question I cannot answer but as long as they are helping people and not making a mockery out of the mission of helping those in need I see no harm done.

Demon Doctors? Really? Sounds like bullshit to me. Sorry, just cant buy into this no matter what type of spin they try to put on it. After all, you can put a pig in a dress but its still a pig.

I thought we were through discussing Blabs at "Through The Veil" (pig in a dress).

But.....how can it be said they are helping people? Over and over in these situations one very important question is overlooked or dismissed as unimportant. Where is the educated, trained professional who can evaluate a person's mental health and ensure there is no harm being or to be done? I could go into the reasons demons most likely do not exist but I think the one point is enough to indicate these 'doctors' should not be making house calls

@ Reap:This article is written for the public to draw their own conclusions on rather the demon doctors are helping or causing more issues. I agree that only professionals should be tending to psychological matters but as I stated I was "unable to verify any of their clients, or if they even helped." The article is open to interpretation on various levels, as far as them causing harm I cannot say "that they are or if they are not" since all client info
is confidential."I agree with your comment 100%"

Great article, these guy's are dumb-assess....

@ Reap: I have to agree with you that these "Demon Doctors" are more than likely doing more harm than good. It makes very little sense for a lay person to be diving into exorcisms, when that realm is best left to priests. Also, there is the psychological aspect of things. these "Demon doctors" are not true doctors, nor are they licensed, practicing psychiatrist's. Feeding into the delusions of psychologically disturbed individuals is not helping them at all. Its easy to say that they are bringing peace to people minds & homes, but are they really?

At the end of the article the author points out that "as long as they are not making a mockery of helping people then there is no harm done." These demon doctors claim to be connected to a higher power and call upon angels, they are not Dr's as the author points out so they are basically lunatics that are claiming to be able to be experts in areas that they honestly do not understand. Who knows what they are doing for the clients because like the author said he couldn't contact any of them so who knows.

This is a very tough subject because like I said I couldn't even prove that they have even helped anyone at all, so I cannot say that they are in fact causing harm because I honestly do not know. It would be a lot different if I could have actually spoken with someone that they have "supposedly" helped because then I would have at least a platform to build on. That's why I left the article open for the public to draw their own conclusions on these individuals.I do not condone anyone announcing themselves as doctors and having actual troubled people (psychological or spiritual) relying on their services to render positive results. In a situation where there is most certainly psychological issues at hand then yes they most certainly could cause more harm then good..

Regardless of how the author worded the article, common sense alone tells you that these idiots are not helping anyone and that they are doing more harm than good. You dont have to contact anyone for this! Their name alone tells the story as does their outlandish claims. These guys are a joke.

If they are even helping people at all is the question that's left ope here. I agree these guy's are a joke and that they by no means should be portraying themselves as doctors because that leads people to believe in them and open up to them in ways that should only be for actual professionals.

Kirby, there is a psychic fraud out of Florida named Karen West, also at "the bigorb where the demon doctors are that has claimed she was featured on CNN for helping to find a missing person but freaks out and viciously attacks anyone that questions the fact that there is no record of this supposed CNN story anywhere.

I have been following these nimrods since learning of them when I had to clean up one of their messes. I've been a practicing Christian Demonologist for 22 years now, and an ordained clergy member for 17 years. I have had three cases in the last couple years I have been brought in as a consultant where these kooks told my clients they had destroyed the entity and when the activity and attacks continued, these kooks told them that, "you must have invited them back, we can't help you if you are willingly letting them back in."

These two are a menace in the paranormal field and as demonologists.

well there you have it! These idiots are NOT helping people. Go figure(insert eye roll). Next!

Well it seems the public has drawn it's conclusions on these self proclaimed "demon doctors." I wanted to to keep this article open to opinion since I personally couldn't find any factual evidence to supports either side of what they are doing. "If anyone has information on them please contact me."

Part 2 coming Monday

Anytime you put an article out there for public consumption, of course they are going to express their opinions. Not everyone is going to agree with you or write what you feel is appropriate, but that is the chance that you take when you choose a topic, affix your name to it and then publish it. I think that you are taking everyone's opinions way too personally. Either learn to accept that that the public is going to state what they think and that what is said is not a slight towards you personally or keep getting upset and give up trying to write articles.

Wow ! all these negative comments! And a preacher calling then nimrods? Has anyone validated the preachers statement? Look who are we to say they are not real? Who are we to say they don't have a god given ability? We can not prove or disprove them unless we honestly know one of their clients! But it seems they keep their clients info locked up tight for confidential reasons and I can respect that! That is one of their claims everything is kept between them and their clients!
I agree with Dr. Dodd on the statement of their are many man made laws with in a church setting! This was done long ago to keep a handle on the congercation of the churches! Man says you have to do this, in order to get this! If you want that, you have to do that! Everyone looks at Priest as being Holly, and its his call from God to be a priest! But yet how many stories to we hear about Priest molesting kids? But yet we trust a priest to get rid of demons! A man says his calling was to become a preacher! But yet how do we know this? we just trust him because he has the title and mans schooling of Christianity not Gods teaching! And later we find out he has taken money from the church or had an affair with another lady with in church! But yet we trust them to bless a home or get rid of a demon?
I can see why THE DEMON DOCTORS do not affiliate themselves with any church, would you want to be part of the scandals? Look THE DEMON DOCTORS hide nothing, they were asked if they are true doctors and they said NO! They didn't lie, and it would have been easy for them to say yes and nobody would ever know the difference!
THE DEMON DOCTORS have not lied about anything that I can find out! If they say they have a heavenly gift who am I to say they don't! When asked questions they tell the truth! When they say their is confidentiality between them and their clients its true no body can get any information! I have read some of their testimonies sounds to me they are doing what they say they do! and they do not charge anything! They do not have their hands out for money like priest and pastors from a church! What is their motive? Helping people in need! WOW where do u get that these days for nothing! I stand behind them and god bless them for helping people!

I came across the article on THE DEMON DOCTORS AND i want everyone of you to know that posted anything about THE DEMON DOCTORS, that you all are so very quick to judge and not praise them for helping others for absolutely nothing!! I am here to tell you that I was one of their clients and I was experiencing horrendous and traumatic paranormal activity for years, until I finally found someone that could honestly help me. I have had a priest, preachers, physics, and even the pagans try to get rid of what was haunting me for years. The haunting that i experienced was not a figment of my imagination or mental illness etc but a documented case of actual demonic activity in my home...numerous evps and all kinds of evidence to support this. The DEMON DOCTORS WERE THE ONLY ONES THAT COULD RID MY HOME OF ALL PARANORMAL ACTIVITY and permanently!!! I have had no activity since they cleansed my home They are wonderful honest people that were responded very quickly and sincere about what was happening and explained to me every question I had about this terrible life ordeal!! I just want to say that they are100% REAL AND THEY WILL GET RID OF ALL PARANORMAL ACTIVITY FOR NOTHING!!! If it was'nt for them helping me and my family we would of had to lose our home!! THANK YOU DEMON DOCTORS FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE FOR MY FAMILY!! GOD BLESS YOU!! R.N. in Pennsylvania...and DEMON FREE!!!

Pastor Michael Frisbee...You are the one that cannot get rid of these demons permanently you may temporarily or make them travel to the next house but for real you are the joke not the Demon doctors and how else can the demons come in unless someone in the household invites them in through ouija boards tarot cards etc... You PASTOR fRISBEE KEEP YOUR COLLECTION PLATE FULL BY WHAT YOU ARE DOING ...They helped me for nothing!!

Recently, I contacted the Demon Doctors, and like the 12-3-2011 poster, I can say that they did seem to rid my son of his demonic tormentors. To be sure however, that they aren't still just hanging around waiting to move back in, we are taking him to our church so they can annoint him and remove the demons in their way if they are still there. I have much more faith in my church than the Demon Doctors. But I can say that they were caring, responded quickly, and did not charge anything.
