California Welfare Recipients Earn $70,000 a Month!

By Kirby Robinson

A Special Report

Jimmy Swaggart has trouble telling the truth and his wife Frances Swaggart has trouble grasping the truth.

For those who don't recall, back in the 1980s Jimmy Swaggart was the largest televangelist in the world. If he hadn't been caught with the ladies of the night, he might've become the leader of the conservative church political movement, overshadowing fellow evangelists Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell. [There's always been some talk that Falwell and Robertson had a hand in his downfall, as they also did with Jim Bakker.] The Swaggart scandal killed his ministry as did his public confession, "YES I SINNED BUT SEND ME YOUR MONEY." He faded from the spotlight until about four years ago he started the Sonlight Network beaming 24/7/365. It features only him, his family members, and his staff from his unaccredited Bible College that preaches his so-called Message of The Cross. He claims that only he and a few churches are preaching the only way to God. [Shades of the Westboro Baptist Church but without protesting at funerals?] According to Jimmy Swaggart, the rest of us are headed for hell.

Personally, I feel he's headed for a cult label. I tried to attend one of his yearly camp meetings but as time went by, I could see cracks showing in church. The last time there one of his staff members, who happens to be a reader of the EYE, started to feed me information, which I'll be sharing over time.

Mrs. Frances Swaggart has a daily weekday show called Frances & Friends. According to her site, "…we take a biblical approach to current issues facing the church today. Programs deal with false doctrine, world events, and answer viewer and listener questions." One of her favorite topics is welfare and its drain on the wealthy. A California man called in and said he couldn't go back to work even though he was offered his old job, which paid him $50,000 a year. Why not work? Because he was getting $70,000 a month in welfare benefits. For the remainder of her segment, Frances and her panel was just in arms about this.

$70,000 A MONTH? I was shocked. That adds up to $840,000 a year. Even OctoMom Nadya Suleman, the mother of 14, only gets $2,800 per month. The man had to be living in Beverly Hills or Santa Monica. Is this one of the reasons the state of California is having financial difficulties? Is every welfare recipient from all over the US moving to California to earn $840,000 a year and get that welfare Cadillac sung about in the 60s?

The only issue is – it's not true. In fact, California is one of the hardest states to file for welfare as they're trying to combat welfare fraud. They use many tools such as fingerprinting welfare recipients and computer searches for assets and duplicate applications.

So we have to ask why would they make such false statements? Jimmy and Frances claim to have three houses and six luxury cars. They have a staff of 300 including a Bible college, a private Christian academy, and even a preschool.

Guess there is never enough money when it comes to evangelistic organizations. And Jimmy Swaggart can't tell the truth about it.

A day after the March telethon in which Jimmy Swaggart Ministries [JSM] raises funds to pay for network airtime via cable and satellite, he stated that he wanted to thank the viewers for raising 3.2 million dollars.

Sounds nice huh? But it's not true - they raised 3.2 million in PLEDGES, not cash.

-  The ministry requires people to send in cash or checks. They don't accept credit or debit cards.

- They know that 3.2 million won't be sent in. People forget to send it, or they were caught up in the begging that takes place and suddenly that generous $1,000 pledge turns into $100 or $50 or maybe it never is sent in at all. Plus, JSM doesn’t really need that 3.2 million dollars.

Only the family and accounting staff ever know how much they actually need. They know what percentage won't be sent and they know how much they need to cover the costs. If more than enough is sent in – that's fine and dandy.

It's also a way to make money for their separate business as they offer a token to the people who donate.

Give away a book the ministry buys it from the publishing/printing arm.

Give away a CD or DVD--no issue at all, as they produce their own. They press all CDs and DVDS and they even print the CD and DVD labels and covers. In fact, they've been known to print and wrap DVDs and CDs in the past so they make even more money for themselves.

In time, more secrets will be revealed.

Ask yourself this--if Jesus were alive today would He act this way?

Issue 142 – Fake Para-Celebs Not in the Christmas Spirit

By Kirby Robinson

Due to a scheduling difficulty, tonight's Eye on the Paranormal Radio Show has been changed to Wednesday, December 11.

Tony Spera Proves Our Point: Fake Para-Celebs Will Do Anything to Keep You from the Truth

On November 20, 2013, we broke the story due to the fine work Chris Baricko on the matter of the Night of the Conjuring and how it was a big rip off. Here's the link, just scroll down to More Lorraine Warren & Tony Spera Highjinks: http://eyeontheparanormal.blogspot.com/2013/11/issue-141-cycle-numbers-of-jfk.html

Then the Examiner picked up the story, without giving the Eye on the Paranormal any credit. Here's the link:

It seems that Tony and his group of paranormal hoods took it on themselves and began attacking Chris due to the fact that he dared tell the truth. We all know the paranormal community doesn't want that.

To Heaven and Back & More New Age Deceptions

On Sunday night while the nation dealt with the death of Paul Walker and the wreck of the commuter train crash in New York, CNN ran a repeat of the program To Heaven and Back. This show details stories of individuals who experience of NDE [Near Death Experiences]. Every event shared happened the way the survivors claimed. No one questioned the stories. No opposing viewpoint was share. All the experiences "proved" the existence of some type of new age heaven.

CNN usually bashes religion and tells us God isn't real…unless it gets ratings and is on their terms.

In the weeks to come we'll take a further look into these claims and find out they have more in common with hell.

Paul Crouch and Paul Walker Die on the Same Day. What About Their Numbers?

I doubt if Paul Crouch and Paul Walker ever met, but they have some interesting similarities. Both have the number 5 in common.

Paul Walker was born 9/12/73 = 5

He was on his 9/12/2013 to 9/12/2018 just a little bit over 100 days into his new cycle. 100 days of a start or end of cycle means a time of great change.

Paul Crouch was born 3/30/34 = 5. He was on his 03/30/2009 to 03/30/2014, meaning he was in his last year of his current cycle. This stage often means being prepared for things to come.

They both died on 11/30/2013 = 11. 11 days represent people jumping from one thing to another.

May they both be at peace.

Chip Coffey Jumps on Paul Walker's Death!

Hey Chip, give the family a break. It seems as though most psychics can't pass up a chance to insert themselves into the news. Moments after the news broke of Mr. Walker's death, Mr. Coffey had to stick his 2 cents in. He pondered on the fact that a few weeks ago a false story broke on the web that Mr. Walker died in a car crash. Chip wondered if the prankster caused the death? Did they see the death take place as a psychic premonition?

Well, since Chip asked the question I feel up to responding.

The answer is neither. The person that posted the hoax was big jerk. It was nothing but a mere coincidence that a few weeks later Mr. Walker died in that manner. But what is the outcome of Mr. Walker's death?

- His 15-year-old daughter that he leaves behind.

- His mom and dad who had to see one of their kids die before them.

- His brothers and sisters who had to bury one of their own.

- Friends and loved ones who now must fill a hole in their life they may never fill.

- His fans that will miss him.

Dead is dead. How and why at the moments after the death are not important. What is important is the healing process.

Now go and sit in a corner.

Chip Coffey's Complains of a 1-Star Book Review

Chip spends his time reading reviews of Theresa Caputo's book. My 1-star review for her book made him lose his pumpkin pie and turkey.

I wonder if all psychics /mediums sleep with a poster of Theresa Caputo and Pat Longo over their beds? Do they fantasize that they have a hit TLC program? They're in front of thousands of audience members packing the house? Not the one or two hundred or gallery readings the small fry get. Do they do something naughty when they gaze at the chubby medium in stiletto heels?

In my book, I've exposed Theresa Caputo for what she is. A complete fake. She is leading many down a dark path [concealed with fake white light] "teaching" the grieving and the hurting a false truth. When the deluded Caputo believer dies and finds out it's all a lie, it'll be too late.

I'm not afraid to speak and write about the truth. If Theresa Caputo would dare to debate what I have to say, I'd be glad to debate with her.

But Chip Coffey is of the pack mentality. If someone should attack one fake psychic/medium and expose how the cold readings work, then the rest of the pack is threatened. Chip posted the following to his Facebook page.

I just read a review about a book on spirituality and communicating with spirits. And it really pissed me off!

The review -- which was really more of a bashing of the book than a review -- was written by someone who is quite obviously a fundamental, perhaps even literalist, Christian. In the review, he stated that the author of the book offers no proof that any of her claims are real because there is no proof.

News flash for the "reviewer" -- There is no "proof" that your beliefs are correct or valid either! Belief and faith are mostly based on things unseen and unproven.

I am always quite disgusted and often angry whenever I hear or read about one person (or a group of people) denouncing the beliefs of another individual (or group of individuals). Just because I do not believe the same things as someone else doesn't make me wrong and them right.

I was raised in the Roman Catholic faith, but as I grew older, I combined my spiritual beliefs with Catholicism. I have a very personal and profound relationship with God. That's what I choose to call my Higher Power. Feel free to choose your own name. Or not. I believe what I choose to believe, what feels right to me and makes me feel close to The Divine.

I NEVER try to convince or convert others to my ways of thinking or believing. Those who try to impose their personal religious or spiritual beliefs on others are zealots and bullies. NEVER ALLOW ANYONE TO TELL YOU WHAT YOU SHOULD OR SHOULD NOT BELIEVE BECAUSE IT IS NONE OF THEIR DAMNED BUSINESS!

Rant over.........

I guess this is the reason that no one on my side of Chip's bloodline got an invite for turkey day. No one in my family ever got an invitation to visit a Coffey home.

But you see Chip doesn't tell the whole story.

Chippie's spirit guides failed him yet again. I'm not a fundamentalist or a literalist [Chip you better get those guides under control].

When I talk about proof, if you bother to read the book, There's More to Life Than This: Healing Messages, Remarkable Stories, and Insight About the Other Side from the Long Island Medium, she spends much time talking about angels. Actually, she knows virtually nothing about angelology. She talks about life on the Other Side that contradicts the Catholic point of view. Nor does she offer any proof about being a psychic medium, or just a medium.

Mr. Coffey claims any spiritual path is good and legit and no one can say anything bad about them. Well, let's put Mr. Coffey's words to a test.

- In the Middle East many nations fall under the Muslim faith. The Muslim Religious Police root out non-Muslims and put them on trial. Women have no value. In the UK: "1/3 of young UK Muslims believe a Muslim who converts to another religion should be executed." See and read about what's going on over there. http://www.frontpagemag.com/2013/dgreenfield/muslim-religious-police-begin-enforcing-islamic-law-in-london-video/

- Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas. Homophobic to the extreme.

- Christian Identity. These conservative American Protestants teach that whites are closer to God. The darker your skin, the more likely you are to go to hell.

- In Utah, Arizona and parts of Texas, there are conclaves that fall under the influence of a so-called prophet named Warren Jeffs. He's now a long-term guest at the Louis C. Powledge Unit in Texas, due to his belief that men should marry little girls. The man's not a prophet, he's a pedophile and a polygamist who had 78 wives.

The concept that Mr. Coffey preaches sounds nice. But like most paths of darkness, they are dressed up to look nice and pleasant. In fact, they lead to a very bad place, one filled with pain and suffering. Theresa Caputo and all the rest tell lie after lie, and by the time you discover the truth, it's way too late.

Next week -- More truth they want hidden.

The Separation Of Church And State Of Mind

Correspondent: Michael O'Brien

According to a recent CNN poll 1 in 4 young American people are currently, "unaffiliated," with religion. Additionally, a staggering 59% of young adults ages 18 to 29 with a solid Christian background have left the church all together.

When asked why, the most common responses cited by today's youth (depending of course upon their individual belief system) regarding their choice of theological separation were that:

● "The church is anti-gay."
● "The church is anti-doubt."
● "The church is anti-female."
● "The church is anti-science."
● "The church is anti-abortion."
● "The church is too judgmental."
● "The church only wants my money."
● "The church is anti-sexual education."

Upon my interviews with the 18-30 demographic (which was in no way scientific with less than 150 subjects) I noted the same criticisms. However, I was afforded clarifications. Here are some expansions offered by our participants I felt noteworthy due to their repetition and consistency. Out of respect and professionalism I've excluded the profanities.

● "As a good Christian I was told by my Bishop at 14 that I needed to actively shun homosexuals, liars, thieves and adulterers but pray for them. That they alone were the root of all evil. At 16 we found out that my Bishop was every one of those. It knocked the wind out of me, and the religion too." Karen D., 19

● "If I'm forced to demand proof in my work, my field, science, I'm going to demand it in a religion. "Believe it because I said so," just doesn't fly anymore." Devon M., 28

● "It has been my experience that the more religious, especially political and religious you claim to be the more corrupt you are." Peter P., 22

● "Christianity (prayer) never offered me any real answers to my issues. However doctors, psychiatrists and pharmaceuticals did. Science saved me, a deity
did not." Sam R., 25

● "I am sick to death of all of this puritanical BS! Where are all of these religious people at the local shelters or local food banks that I volunteer at every weekend and twice during the weekdays? Not there that for sure!" Tracy O., 24

● "I was raised Mormon. My family was expected to faithfully offer the church 10% of our gross earnings even when we couldn't. Now 20% is required to remain in good standing. Someone please tell me, why does it cost money in order for (this) God to like, accept or respect me?" Tammy A., 22

● "I can't come to grips being force fed that I'm supposed to worship a God who is more consumed with who I've chosen to love instead of who I've chosen to hate or harm. Why is it that I'll be forgiven for deliberately hurting or even killing another if I find Christ and ask for forgiveness but not for being gay?" Melinda Z., 21

● "Personally I'm bored with tradition and ceremony. I don't enjoy it at all. Besides, I think the only difference between being a religious person or being a spiritual person is that one person who is more willing to give up a Sunday." Timothy K., 27

● "My parents were hell fire Baptists. Every Sunday I remember thinking, am I the only person who thinks it's weird to force a kid to believe in an all powerful, unseen yet ultimately anthropomorphic entity who I should fear at all times with every fiber of my being? Also one who can't cure my MS but can apparently take Sunday attendance? Get real." Katelynn B., 24

● "The second I find out that someone is a preacher, priest or bishop I'm automatically suspicious. I don't mean to be but I can't turn on my TV anymore without hearing about one of these guys lying, manipulating, cheating, stealing money or molesting a child. If that's the godly level I'm supposed to be striving for then it's no wonder I'm a freaking atheist." Jacob L., 25

● "If I'm to understand this racket, God only focuses on what I do wrong and how he'll eventually punish me in eternal hell. And this is supposed to motivate me how?" Ally G., 18

● "I really don't get this whole Christian or Catholic thing. I think it's about a bunch of self righteous zelots who pick & choose what biblical passages we should all live by. But then gloss right over those passages that allow me to own slaves & beat adulterous women to death with rocks. I especially don't get the part where their God says do not judge, that's my job, but they ignore him anyway. Isn't HE supposed to be their authority? I swear they're more confused than I am. #toomanychiefs" Victoria R., 19 (this portion was extracted from an extended email by the author).

In the studies on atheism I'm familiar with it would appear many younger people are literally screaming the church is suspect if not outright hypocritical and outdated. With that, they seem to feel they are being forced to choose between their intellectual integrity, ideology and their faith. Unfortunately, at 59% intellect may be winning that battle.

I should quickly add this compilation of data gathered isn't offered solely by pollsters but by churches as well. Churches themselves report a substantial decline in attendance based upon baptismal records and their current congregational attendance. Some churches have even reported a variance as substantial as 69%.

We're all aware of the strict traditional stances of the church so what is fueling this sudden separation between church and the newest generation's state of mind? Are our youth seeking a greater education and spiritual understanding while the church seems content resting upon their standard catechism? Or are our youth genetically programmed to question everything about the generation before them? After all, there is substantial evidence that each generation brings with it deeper philosophies and greater knowledge. Evidence to that would be found in how even our generation (40+) perceives the generation of the 1960's.

While there are countless reasonings offered, I believe the true premise to this epidemic is that men of God are no longer respected leaders in our moral and ethical universe. And those that are have been undeniably sullied by the others.

Based upon documented hypocrisy, most have failed in their calling to become a moral compass for any of us. It's also unfortunate that these well known, so called, "spiritual leaders," have become the poster boys of modern religion. Listed below are only a few examples of my hypothesis.

● Westboro Baptist Church - who's premise is anti-gay and regularly frequents military funerals to mock the deaths of fallen heros.

● Reverend Gerry James - charged with misapplication of insurance funds of $450,000.00, DUI and possession of marijuana.

● Pastor Mark Driscoll - who commonly proclaims that women are “inferior vessels.”

● Pastor Rick Warren - who has consistently preached a disparaging anti-gay agenda.

● Pastor Ed Young Jr. - accused of living an overly opulent lifestyle courtesy of low income church member contributions.

● Pastor Eddy Long - an anti-gay preacher who won the top 10 Worst Pastors In America for underage homosexual assault and misuse of funds by The Preacher Bureau of Investigation.

● Reverend Travis Smith - who was charged with raping two teenage girls.

● Priest Eric Dejaegar - who served a five-year sentence beginning in 1990 for nine sexual assault charges of boys and girls ages 9 to 14.

● Pastor Matthew Kidd - charged with homosexual molestation of children.

● Preacher Travis Smith - charged with the molestation of under aged girls.

● Bishop Anthony Jinwright - who will spend the next decade in prison as punishment for more than 2 million in tax fraud.

● Reverend Peter Popoff - a televangelist found wearing an earpiece so that his accomplices could feed him personal information on people in his audience while he was claiming to get those personal messages directly from God.

Now scramble this knowledge in the mind of a spiritually confused or emptied person. Just look at the messages they send and what children may take from them. Obviously I could have gone on for pages with documented accounts of clergy gone bad but I won't. However, I will say the behavior of Catholic clergy alone would have turned this report into an exhausting novel.

This is what our youth are dealing with daily so is it any surprise that like untamed energy they've decided to take the path of least resistance? Again, I'm reminded of Karen D., age 19 who submitted:

"As a good Christian I was told by my Bishop at 14 that I needed to actively shun homosexuals, liars, thieves and adulterers but pray for them. That they alone were the root of all evil. At 16 we found out that my Bishop was every one of those. It knocked the wind out of me, and the religion too."

Face it, the youth of today not only out educate these false prophets on the pulpit but when it comes to purity, social equality, fairness and open mindedness, they obviously feel confident being their own spiritual guides. In their epiphanies they have chosen to abandon organized religion and have either opted for apathy, atheism or to simply exercise their spiritualism independently. Religious home study and volunteerism appear to be an option since both are steadily on the rise.

Apparently this isn't just an unfortunate U.S. movement. In 2005, a WIN-Gallup International poll was submitted and was based on interviews with 50,000+ people from 57 countries and 5 continents. In this poll participants were asked, "Irrespective of whether you attend a place of worship or not, would you say you are a religious person, not a religious person, or a convinced atheist?"

This poll entitled, "The Global Index of Religiosity and Atheism," found that the number of Americans who say they are "religious" dropped sharply from 73% to 60%. Listed below is some surprising and interesting additional information on what their study returned.

● Besides Vietnam, Ireland had the greatest change in religiosity, down from 69% to 47%.

● China has the most "convinced atheists," at 47%, followed by Japan at 31%, Czech Republic at 30% and France at 29%.

● The most religious countries are in Africa (Ghana, Nigeria and Kenya), South America (Brazil and Peru) and Eastern Europe (Macedonia, Romania and Armenia).

● Countries with the same percentage of atheists as the U.S. are Poland, Moldova and Saudi Arabia.

Each of these reports are disturbing to say the least and they would seem to ask these questions.

● "Are we becoming a godless nation?

● "Is religion itself the problem or is its representation?"

● "Can the youth of today return to a salvationist belief and abandon their fringe philosophies? If one can call the absence of faith a philosophy."

For what it's worth, my answers are,  "Yes." - "Yes." - "I certainly hope so."
