In this chapter we are going to expand our analysis of residual energy/haunts to alleged residually haunted objects—objects which are haunted with residual energy.  There is no doubt that some objects, like some homes, are ‘odd’—they are purchased and bad things start to happen—too many to explain away as coincidence. Can objects retain negative energy much like the environment in which there is an alleged residual haunt? The only difference it would seem is that the alleged residual energy is localized in the object itself. Perhaps you have heard of John Zaffis and his show “The Haunted Collector”? I watched several episodes and often he would refer to objects ‘absolutely’ would retain the negative energy of the people and events associated with them. A few of the more well known haunted objects are: the Dibbuk box, Annabelle the doll, and the mirror at Myrtles Plantation.

Speaking of John Zaffis, Lisa Hix says: “What parapsychologists refer to as a ‘haunting’ is like what you and I would think of as a recording. Residual energy is trapped in whatever object it is, and it replays itself. There’s nothing intelligent about it. It just plays the same thing over and over.” Lisa Hix

Several things I want to say.

1. There seems to be a general consensus by paranormal investigators that objects can be haunted either by ghosts or residual energy but we are going to focus on residual energy being retained in an object. Humans MUST go before the Sovereign Judge of heaven and earth immediately after death, so they cannot haunt an object or a house, but that is topic for another day. ‘Seeing Ghosts through God's Eyes’ is my analysis of the ghost issue. The question is this: can a traumatic event associated with an object cause that object to retain the negative energy of that event? For example, if a sword was used to murder someone could it retain that energy?  Could this object become a place memory—a recording tape of this event by storing its energy?

2. The short answer is an emphatic NO! Everything I said re residual energy/haunts applies directly to this issue because the exact same phenomenon is said to happen, except it is localized in a single object and not entire surroundings of home/office.

If..if there was a transfer of energy during this murder, what kind of energy is it? Electrical, thermal, chemical? Second, whatever energy was emitted from the event when the blade struck its victim, this energy would immediately dissipate into the atmosphere. Imagine putting a drop of food coloring in the ocean. Is it destroyed? No, but it might as well be because  it is so watered down that it is virtually gone-- thousands of miles of ocean. Same with emitted energy-it must dissipate into the earth's atmosphere 100 miles high surrounding the earth. I have a space heater in front of my chair in which I am writing. It will warm up this small area but it will not heat the entire room--why not? The thermal energy dissipates. Neither will the heat coming out of it make a bee-line for an object in my room and store there and keep in hot indefinitely. An object like this sword or an antique cannot retain energy any more than your room will stay warm once you turn the heat off. Energy is energy and cannot remain clustered in an object any more than a drop of food coloring will stay clustered together if you drop it in the ocean/glass.

As long as ice melts in liquid warmer than it, then the second and third laws of thermodynamics are absolutely valid.  One man tried to argue that it had questions raised recently but I’ve studied the literature and in the real world it is still absolute.

My point is that an object cannot be haunted by residual energy because energy cannot remain stored in the object. To state otherwise is to contradict one of the most basic, absolute laws of science-God’s laws in nature. Remember, I am not disputing an object can be ‘haunted’—I’m just saying, as I did with residual haunting in general, it cannot be caused by natural forces. If you have not read my earlier chapters on residual energy, please do because I don’t want to repeat myself, and I need to address another question. How do you distinguish between  an object haunted by ghost and residual energy? That encounters the same insuperable problems associated with intelligent and residual haunts.

3. If it is not residual energy causing the object to be haunted what is? Well, first it is not ‘haunted’?  Nor is it possessed—only conscious beings can be possessed. A doll cannot be possessed. However, demons are very territorial and for various reasons they do attach to objects just as they attach to homes and people. Some people and many animals are sensitive to the presence of the demonic attached to an object. They will stare or bark at it for hours.

Lisa Hix states the following: On his FAQ at the Museum of the Paranormal, Zaffis agrees that such phenomena are all about energy, but he has a different theory about how the energy got there. “With most of the items in the museum, they have been used in rituals, usually when spells are being cast,” he writes. “Although the items are not ‘possessed,’ … items can hold energy within or around them, and it is usually the result of the energy being sent to the object by an individual.”

He is half-way right there. What I thought instructive is that this expert in occult objects recognizes that there is a common theme or back-story to these objects—ritualistic activity, spell casting or curses being sent by an individual are attached to an object. The curse or ritual summons a demon who then is all too happy to attach to this object; giving it a legal right to attach and attack its owners. Demons, not negative energy, haunt objects. It is pure evil and we need to stop calling it negative energy.

Contrary to what the well known psychic Sylvia Browne said: “There’s no such thing as a curse. That’s just a goofy fortune-teller’s way of getting money.” No ma'am..you are wrong. Dead wrong.

Just as demons attach to dead idols that people worship (1 Cor. 10, etc.), so they can attach to objects that have been presented in an occultic ritualistic fashion. An example might be the sword of a Freemason.  My dear friend Laura Maxwell told me today of a lovely piece of jewelry that was given to her, but she got weird vibes off it. She later discovered that it was a Hindu object, and she got rid of it. This is instructive because it illustrates how common this problem is, and how anybody may be affected by it. Much artwork or furniture or jewelry was crafted by pagans with pagan intentions or occultic symbolism. And as Zaffis reminds us, most of the infested/cursed objects are due to some form of rituals in which spells are being cast; that kind of activity is precisely what opens doors to demonic. That is a very significant point and fits hand in glove with our premise of demonic intervention. If you curse something, then it is an open invitation for demonic attachment; ‘legal rights’ have been granted to it/them.

Or take the sword we talked about earlier used in a murder: that MAY cause a demon to become attached to it because it took the life of God’s image bearer—thus an attack on God Himself. On one case, my client’s husband had been in special forces and was dispatched to Iraq. He was a sniper and he had this tiny troll doll he put on his gun barrel, which was used to kill many people, and he brought it home and was obsessed with it. He placed it here, and then he placed it there, and then it started moving on its own. In addition, he also brought home objects from Saddam Hussein’s palace (one of them)—pictures—one of the dogs playing cards….others more occult looking. Due to all the murder, torture, sexual uncleaness, and madness that took place in his palaces, it’s no wonder that they are infested, and the objects in them. No doubt these were part of the reason this woman’s home was being terrorized.

She had been having sex with her boyfriend and he started experiencing problems due to his close connection to the infestation. I instructed them to stop but they didn’t listen, and he became partially possessed—eyes turned black, loss of memory, and aberrant behavior; and a minor exorcism had to be performed. So, ‘haunted objects’ can cause one’s life to turn into a living nightmare; even something as small as a one-inch troll doll. When we went through all of his ‘stuff’ and either tossed it or blessed it, a shadow demon was seen fleeing from the storage building.

So, the source of an objects ‘haunting’ is the demonic and not residual energy.

4. How is obtained? It seems that antique stores are especially vulnerable because you have old objects and you have no idea what kind of people previously owned it. Also, if they had demonic activity in their home, it also may attach to particular objects in the home. Care must be taken when buying antiques or even used items or clothes.

Don’t be paranoid because junking is supposed to be fun! You just need to be familiar with occult symbols. Be especially aware of items that might have some connection with a fraternal organization, like Freemasonry. If it feels weird, better safe than sorry.

And if activity begins in your home after buying an object then the best thing to do is get rid of it.

5. How do I get rid of it? Get rid of it!  Don’t do EMF readings or especially do not do EVPs—that will make it worse. Don’t do like Zaffis and now Zak Bagans and start your your own haunted museum! I used to collect items I took from people’s homes but I learned that it was better to just throw it out…which is what I did. If it is a very expensive item, you may try expelling the demon or getting help to do so. But if you are confident the object is cursed then the best thing to do is dump it in the trash, burn it, or bury it. The bible has examples of godly people doing all three with occult objects. Pray the blood of Jesus to bind the demons…and to forbid them from following you home. For example, it is needed to ‘close’ a Ouija Board before you burn it or it will just leave the object and possibly attach to you.

Once again, if someone has mis-identified the nature of the problem with the object then it could cause serious problems. If you are told that it is merely residual energy and not harmful, and you decide to hang onto the item, then your life may turn into a wide-awake nightmare. Whatever demon/s associated with the object, will eventually begin to turn upon its owner. They do not care as much about things as they do wrecking and breaking people down, and pulverizing them. So, whether the ‘spiritual cancer’ is in the home or attached to an object, it will wreck havoc in a multitude of ways. Get rid of it!

If you have been exposed to a demon attached object then it has had an affect on you. Realize that just because you were baptized does not mean you are saved. Nor does a simple belief in the existence of God and Jesus save you. First step is to ask Christ to save you if you haven’t already: confess that you have fallen short of His holy laws and need to be forgiven…ask Christ to forgive you and turn from your self centered life to having Jesus as the leader of your life. Open up your empty hands of faith and accept God’s free gift of salvation which Christ earned for you—and bow before the finished work of Christ on the cross. As Jesus to forgive your sins and He will—past, present and future. And eternal life is a personal relationship with God through Jesus.

Residual Haunts & Six Forms of Energy

One reader told me that they thought I made a plausible case, BUT are there other forms of unknown energy which may account for the residual phenomenon? That is an excellent question, and I think by attempting to answer it we may further enrich our understanding of this topic. Let me remind you that the category known as "residual haunt" is thought to be the most common cause of paranormal activity.If for only that reason, it is important that we analyze it and try to get at the truth. More than usual, this newsletter builds on the foundation laid in the last one.

One other preliminary comment--please note that the ultimate court of appeal for truth is God's special revelation...His personal Word to us in the Bible. Science (part of what is called general revelation), when properly understood, will always concur with scripture, but it must not be seen as an autonomous activity. God's inerrant, written revelation to us has primacy of authority...science must not be seen as an equal in terms of authority. It would be an act of impiety to pursue scientific truth as if it were more "true" than the bible. When the bible speaks, God speaks with full authority over our lives, but general revelation cannot claim implicit obedience because the "assured results of science" often turn out to be not so sure! We must presuppose God and His word first, or all of reality, including science, will be meaningless and incoherent.

I had an "aha" moment recently while watching Ghost Adventures. Mr. Bagans was explaining the mechanics of r h (residual haunt) and he said that a murder would cause a wave of emotionalized energy to be imprinted in the environment. Two points stand out as clearly in error: energy CANNOT be imprinted in an environment ( this is discussed last time and today); and energy cannot be emotionalized. A salient aspect of of being human is emotions...it is part of being a person.  To anthropopathize (assign human emotions) to an impersonal entity like energy is clearly fallacious reasoning. Energy is emotionless...inanimate. There is no precedent in the natural realm of any form of energy expressing emotions.  If these two notions are debunked, then the whole r h house of cards comes crashing down.

Let me review some basic physical science first. There are two types of energy--kinetic and potential. It seems that scientists really do not know how to describe what energy IS...all they can do is give a functional definition (the ability to do work) or a mathematical equation--E=mc2, but a truly ontological definition remains elusive. That does not bother me because in God's world we should expect mysteries. However, in addition to the two types of energy (kinetic/potential) there are six forms which energy takes--chemical energy, electrical energy, radiant energy (light),  mechanical energy, nuclear energy, and thermal energy.

The question put to me was: is it possible that there is some form of unknown energy that can explain residual paranormal activity?  First, if it is an unknown form of energy, then how are we to talk of it? The burden of proof lies on those who would entertain the notion that the paranormal realm has forms of energy unknown to us. Let me explain... What is true in the natural realm can and should  be extrapolated into the supernatural realm . The paranormal/invisible realm here on Earth is part of the same space/time continuum that the normal or visible realm is.part of--and is subject to all the laws of God which He has interwoven into space/time. It seems apparent to me that there is simply a dimensional veil separating the two, and they don't exist or function like two distinct water-tight compartments....they "bleed " into each other and occupy the same space. Put another way, the same six forms of energy found in the visible realm on Earth, exist and function in the invisible realm on Earth. How do I know this? Because it is still the Earth (albeit invisible) and because energy itself is usually invisible...its effects are what is visible. Our eternal home will be here--right here... a renewed Earth which is perfect. We cannot escape time and its flow, even in eternity...the 'ravages" of time will be done away with.

Here are the six known forms of energy again--chemical, electrical, radiant, mechanical, nuclear, and thermal energies.I won't take the time to examine each one, but take a moment to picture in your mind each of these six forms of energy in action. The form that is most germane to our discussion is electrical because the body and brain do have electrical energy. In fact, it has become common to determine death by means of cessation of electrical activity in the brain, instead of the old way of heartbeat (which has electrical activity as well...I know this because I have a pace/defib in my chest!) There are other forms of energy active but electrical is primary I think.

Let me shift gears and state that none of the six known forms of energy can do what residual haunt (r h) requires. An r h is said to have energy that remains clustered in the environment for years.Also, this clustered potential energy summons itself to begin a sound and light show that may include--multiple moving apparitions, sounds, smells and so on.It is important to note that we have no precedent for this kind of activity in the natural realm (please read that again). Try to grasp how involved this process would have to be--impersonal electrical energy (similar to what is flowing to the light in my room) would be expelled from human body and remain virtually unchanged for decades or longer.(any notion of the environment reacting and stirring up energy due to one's violent death seems implausible to me) Then this potential electrical energy is able to recognize certain cues which causes this energy to manifest and loop. And not just loop but to energize an ultra hologram which science has not been able to create yet. An example would be the soldiers at Gettysburg walking about.

As I stated last time, some material conducts energy better than others but (and this is key) nobody has ever observed any of these six forms of energy putting on a visual, auditory, or olfactory demonstration similar to what is claimed in the residual haunt phenomenon.(we could spend an entire article merely on how extravagant this display of intelligent non-intelligent energy  becomes) Even nuclear energy, which stores energy for a long time in radioactive isotopes,has never been observed doing what we have come to know as residual activity...looping. The burden of proof is on those who believe in these anomalous events to prove that there is a form of energy in the paranormal realm which has no know counterpart in the natural realm.

The only energy that I'm aware of that is released into the environment when one dies is the small amount of electrical activity in brain and heart. Electrical energy is electrical energy is electrical energy! For heavens sake, if a billion volts from an average lightning strike dissipates immediately after impact, then the minuscule voltage in a human body (1.5 volts?) is not going to "hang around.". It is outta here! (because it is not the soul...we need special revelation for that knowledge).

In summary, none of the six forms of known energy have ever been observed functioning like an r h. We can posit all sorts of ideas but Ockham's Razor would heavily favor a model of reality that is symmetrical--six forms of energy on both sides of thin, permeable veil. An unknown paranormal form of energy would make reality asymmetrical. At this point, it is clear to me that positing an unknown form of energy would be an act of special pleading.

I have become convinced that fascination with the paranormal in general, and ghosts in particular, is one of Satan’s most effective and successful deceptions. It is a powerful door-opener to the demonic. We have also noted that residual energy/haunts is very popular in the paranormal community, and is bleeding over into general culture. Hence, if I were the devil (no comment!) then I would do all I could to make this notion of residual energy as plausible and popular as possible. Or, I would use my considerable arsenal to make as many hauntings as possible appear residual. Why? Because since they are allegedly non-intelligent, then people will tend to see them as not as serious. The last thing Satan wants are godly exorcists snooping around his strongholds. So, all he has to do is make his demons act non-intelligent by not replying intelligently to an EVP session…and the investigators will likely tell the client that they are safe. A residual haunt is not likely to be confronted in the Name of Jesus because IT IS MERELY ENERGY….NOT A SPIRIT.

Does that make sense? Another thing. Have you noticed how quickly many folks (many other are much more cautious) come to the conclusion that a haunt is residual? With perhaps an EVP or 2 that SEEM stupid or non-intelligent, the decision is made: this is residual. Additionally, many folks assume in advance  that most real activity is residual in nature. Hence, they will have an unconscious tendency to PERCEIVE activity as non-intelligent, with only a small amount of evidence. How much data does one need before it is prudent to claim that a haunting is residual? Remember the clients welfare is linked to an accurate ‘diagnosis’. Given the deception in the spirit realm, do we not need to be cautious and not jump to conclusions?

I am quite sure that Satan is milking this notion for all its worth. If only these alleged non-intelligent residual energies were confronted in Jesus’ Name, they would suddenly become very intelligent and reveal their true demonic nature. I know because I’ve done it many times and urge you to find a competent person to do it for you as well.

The Deadliest Catch and Aftershocks

The “Deadliest Catch”. Millions of people watch the TV show by this name, which is about catching crab in the Bering Sea. It is an exciting show!  I don’t doubt that this vocation IS one of the deadliest….in the natural realm.

However, there is another “catch” that is far more deadly. The deadliest catch I’m referring to is the intentional seeking to interact with spirits on ‘the other side’.

Last week on Zak Bagans “Aftershocks”—in which he interviews people from previous investigations—featured two people who are in serious trouble as a result of engaging in the deadliest catch.

Both people he interviewed had become obsessed with certain locations they had investigated, and it had terrible effects upon them. Indeed a man had become temporarily possessed while taunting the spirits.

The deadliest catch. For a while I have wanted to use that phrase in reference to ghost hunting/paranormal investigating. Here is my point: what percentage of people who are actively involved in communication with spirits are experiencing difficulties? (physical, emotional, spiritual, relational, financial, etc.)

I once asked Dave Schraeder that question, and he admitted that the percentage had to be pretty high. When you factor in demons that lay low for long periods after coming home with investigators, then the percentage is even higher.

May I gently suggest that the closely held dark secret of the paranormal community is precisely this fact—most investigators are showing outward signs of demonic oppression or worse. By oppression I don’t necessarily mean painful attacks. One of the busiest investigators in the world experiences rain in their house on a regular basis, but they just shrug it off or even laugh. But we must remember that the darkening of one’s mind/heart is always a clear and present danger when messing with the spirit realm, no matter how well-intentioned or supposedly protected.

The deadliest catch is not crabs. There are no earthbound spirits to ‘catch’….only demons who will attach, hook-line-and sinker, to those who disobey God’s law by engaging in spiritism.

Anybody who ghost hunts is involved in the deadliest catch. What grieves me immensely is how many investigators are under spiritual attack. Obsession is one indicator of demonic influence, and how many investigators are passionate to the point of obsession with EVP collection, some location, a particular spirit, etc?

May the Lord use us as spiritual “Coast Guard” to help save those drowning in the deadliest catch.

Tragic Paranormal TV Follies

Recently a fine blog was written regarding the dangers of indiscriminate watching of paranormal television programs. I want to piggyback on that and point out a couple things I noticed recently that took paranormal folly to new and more dangerous depths. I don't say these things out of ridicule, but out of sincere concern for all involved in this thing we call "paranormal" (or I prefer supernatural).

I watch a lot of paranormal programs, but I do so to assist me in my calling to educate people regarding the spread of supernatural evil and how to avoid it.And I pray before and during each program for protection.

When critiquing people we need to stop and ask: am I loving this person as Christ would? With that in mind, my first concern is what Zak Bagans said in the most recent "Aftershock" program, where he interviews people from past investigations to see how they are doing. I think that is a noble and good thing for him to do.

During this episode Bagans interviewed an investigator whom they were convinced became temporarily possessed during an investigation. Footage was shown of him in this altered state and it appeared that something was wrong with this man.However, my focus is not on whether he was actually possessed but on what Mr Bagans said regarding it.

After the investigator stated that he did not suffer after the possession, Bagans stated that it appeared that some possessions may be therapeutic. How so? Since spirits are made of energy, then misfiring neurons in the brain may be "re-aligned" during the energy transfer of a possession. Hence, it may correct chronic problems for some people. 

Something along those lines....

Granted, Mr Bagans did not seem to be dogmatic on this point but he was strongly suggesting the possibility. I say this humbly but that is foolish in the extreme to postulate that being possessed might actually be a good thing for some people. We all have heard of instances of demonic "healing"--whether through Reiki or whatever--but it always comes with a high price tag. Is it woth it to have one's body healed temporarily but then be damned to hell?

However I do want to point out that Zak Bagans does seem to follow his unbiblical presuppositions to their logical conclusion, which is absurdity and foolishness.

Secondly, I have been watching for the first time episodes from "Ghost Asylum", with the guys from Tennessee Wraith Chasers. Again, I have to humble myself before the Lord before commenting because walking with the Lord is moment by moment and I want to reflect the heart of Christ.

In one sense this show is just like all the others, with all the attendant dangers. However, there is an additional or new folly that they have introduced...at least it is new to me. Their stated mission is to not only investigate places and free spirits but to be the first team to CATCH a spirit--be it a ghost or demon. In one episode they were convinced the spirit was demonic (got that right anyway) but they were determined as ever to snare it in one of their contraptions. I ask you: how wise is it to attempt capturing a demon? We know that all the spirits present are demons, but even with their faulty beliefs, they still do not hesitate to try to imprison what they know to be a diabolical spirit. The devices they create each show are usually made of some kind of vacuuming mechanism along with some material like quartz to entrap the spirit.

This is not funny. It would make us weep, for them and the whole paranormal community. I have no idea how worse this makes the situation, but I have to believe that attempting to entrap a demon is going to open the floodgates even further. The more energy is put into communicating or interacting with the spirit realm, then the worse the consequences. There is no way in the world that a man-made machine will entrap a demon, UNLESS it allows itself to get "trapped" (to encourage more people to do the same perhaps). If/when that happens, God help them.


I am not surprised at this because of the law of diminishing returns. This introduces a whole new and exciting adventure and entertainment......with more people being drawn into the paranormal craze. But the Lord tells us that the wisdom of man is foolishness. These are two sad examples of the inevitable foolishness that comes from disregarding the holy law of God, which is intended to protect us. May the Lord have mercy. Amen.

Aftershocks--Long Term Affects of Exposure to "Spirits"

Once in awhile, the GAC crew invites folks from previous investigations for "post-op" interview, which they call "Aftershocks". Often, the comment is made that things got worse after they (Ghost Adventures Crew) had left. Recently, in his darkened dungeon, Zak Bagans made this comment, "There should be a doctor who studies the long term affects of interacting with spirits." He then bemoaned how all his girlfriends had been attacked and dumped him. Well...

I have made the very same comment on more than one occasion. With the Ebola virus now seemingly in the US, there is a spiritual pandemic definitely threatening the entire globe.

As an increasing number of people disregard the safeguards of Deuteronomy 18:12 ff and intentionally attempting to contact the "spirits of the dead", they are putting themselves at risk of catching something much worse than Ebola--because it has eternal consequences.

I have been personally involved in dozens of cases and have seen or heard of many people getting very sick or dying because of long term exposure to the demonic. This is the deep, dark secret of the paranormal community. It must be exposed. I have friends who are exorcists/demonologists/ deliverance who tell of many other cases of severe illness.

To my knowledge, there is not an on-going study by an MD of how widespread this spiritual pandemic has become, and its physical consequences. But, as was mentioned, there should be.

It is embarrassing for many to report their ailment and link it to their paranormal activity...or others who are innocent but still get "infected" due to unfortunate circumstances.

When I received a triple scratch/claw on my left shoulder several months ago--scar is still visible--I was concerned about getting sick, especially since I already have a heart condition. But who could I tell? a few close friends...Some getting sick are those on the front line fighting this vicious, desperate, end-times attack of Satan. This is not the norm for most Christians.

Please do not lose your confidence in the Lord--if we humble ourselves before Him, submit to God, and resist the devil, then he will flee.But for those millions being drawn into the occult, Christians need to be aware of a pandemic already raging. In Jesus,

Paranormal State’s lack of credibility as well as the questionable practices of Ryan D. Buell and the organization known as the Paranormal Research Society (PRS) were topics that I had hoped would fade away from my memory as well as the memories of the public. But due to the fact that Ryan and PRS have been scamming people over the sale of tickets for events or webinars that never happen (mind you these problems aren’t new, they were occurring as far back as 2008 when the show was still on the air.) Ryan and PRS are responsible for the cottage industry that was created by misinforming TV viewers of what happens during a paranormal investigation. Far worse was the false perception of what goes on during a demonic case. It motivated certain people with less than honorable motives to copy such actions and continue to damage both the credibility of the paranormal community and the public who turn to these fakers for help and knowledge and get neither in return.

Some of the cast have turned their appearances on the program into other media gigs. Others have not been so lucky. One such cast member is a gentleman now known as Michael Young. Back when he appeared on the show, he was known as Topher Michael Young.

To be fair we need to give you some back story. Topher was a very dedicated lad while affiliated with the PRS and was eager to please Mr. Buell. Topher used to help with monitoring the PRS board to make sure that no one questioned the validity of the show. He even appeared on a few episodes. In October 2008 when the first client told her story on the Eye on the Paranormal, raising questions about the show’s validity, he and a rabid band of attack dogs went on the warpath trying to destroy the client’s credibility. They even went so far as to say she was crazy or had her own credibility issues. Funnily enough, they felt her case was credible when they filmed it. Topher’s mother, who was promoting events in Las Vegas at the time, even approached myself as well as members of the Ghost Divas with offers to speak at an event that had something to do with vampires, S&M, leather, bondage, and kinky sex if we dropped our reporting on the subject. None of us accepted.

Topher was never close to the top of the food chain. He was never a fixture on the show and after a few years he left claiming that his views changed over time and that he became disillusioned with Buell.

Becoming disillusioned with a mentor is something I can understand, as I experienced that with one of my mentors, Dr. Gene Scott. His PhD was earned from Stanford University years ago and the school library had a copy of his doctorate dissertation. While I was around him, I watched a man go from a great teacher to one who no longer taught on any subject other than give me all your money. The last straw came when one Sunday he had the front row of the Los Angeles Theater, the home of his church at that time, filled with playmates, hookers, porn stars and exotic dancers. He later went onto marry one. After his death, Melissa Scott became the leader of the church. Here’s a link about Pastor Melissa Scott:

As I grew older and a little wiser in the Lord, my eyes began to see warning signs. Dr. Scott was a big fan of Ed Warren and communicated with him. Things that were shared from the conversations were things that every beginning demonologist should know. I was always like yeah everyone knows that was the meat from Ed Warren’s teaching. So I can understand his struggles but it seems that Mr. Young speaks and thinks with a forked tongue and mind.

On one hand he disagrees with Mr. Buell’s views and management style, on the other hand he claims that everything was on the up and up on the show and it just might have been exaggerated a little bit.

Exaggeration is when you tell your date that the McDonald’s she is being taken to for dinner is fine dining. Lying is when you tell a client and the viewing public that there are GHOSTS and DEMONS around every corner and in every basement and attic.

He claims that if an error is found in the show that has been all explained away and the record is clear. If you question his or PRS versions of events then you’re jealous, you want your own reality show or you have some kind of agenda.

All are talking points that PRS has used for years.

But Topher is a very dangerous sort of animal as the spiritual cancer that affected the show and all those around it has affected him.

For a while, he has run a Facebook page called Worst Paranormal. Anyone with paranormal and supernatural claims better be able to back them up, which is all well and good. Does he go after well known paracelebrities? No, only mom and pop paranormal groups. Does he go after all Psychics and Mediums including those well known in the paranormal field? Those featured on Paranormal State? No. Only those that the media has decided are far game. It’s like Theresa Caputo, the Long Island Medium, if it had not been for Ron Tebo and Radar Online we would still only get feel good stories about her. Now it is cool to go after her. Does Topher go after big named TV show hosts like Zak Bagans and Amy Allan? No. He does go after minor internet hosts. Now he says demons do not exist. Does he go after some of the big named demonologists and pastors that take on demonic cases? No. He goes after small fry like myself who do not claim to be in the paranormal at all.

Topher suffers from a disease known as Facebook Paranormal Nobody Syndrome. It affects many folks. You get a Facebook page, call it paranormal something or other, get a few hundred friends, maybe a small website, and then your ego starts to grow and you think  you’re somebody.

And if you refuse to play along with Topher and PRS, then you have something to hide.

In the future parts of this series we will take a deeper look into the cancer that was and is Paranormal State, Ryan Buell, and PRS. We will show that Mr. Young’s world falls apart when the light of the truth is shined on it.

Ghost Adventures Crew Ignore Fans

Most of us have watched Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel. I did  as well till their egos and bad acting got in the way. Let's start with a few things. When they wanted  to reach 1 million likes on Facebook they were everyone's friend. Then again when they wanted to reach 2 million Likes. Now they do not feel the need to answer nor reply. We served our purpose. They are not very truthful. It starts right with the opening. They clearly state "The three of us travel." Um, wrong there are five including Billy and the video guy. So right from the start there are misleading the viewers. But now let's look at them one by one.

Nick Groff, in my opinion, is the worst. He used to reply and answer fans' questions, but now, forget it.  And some might say well he can't reply to everyone. Sorry, I don't buy snake oil. If that was the case then how come when you go on his page he has time to promote his CD? His book? His clothing line? His gym? Or his "Drinks on Me" Tour? So let's look at this. He wants your money but don't want to give you any of his time? Hmmm, now why would you want to support a person who ignores you? Sorry no excuse the fans got him to were he is and the fans can also take it away.

Then we have Zak Bagans--his ego is unreal. He just doesn't reply at all. But made sure he was out there when he wanted you to buy his book.

Then we have Aaron Goodwin he is not as bad. He has his Big Steppin line and he donates proceeds to charity.

They all think they are all that. The funny part is I myself was investigating the paranormal before they were old enough to drive, as many others were. They need to remember that being on TV doesn't make them investigators--it makes them actors. Their EVP's are crap, they all sound just like static and they throw words under it hoping we will say OH YEA I hear it.

So, in closing, I will say it is pretty clear they all went to college for film, saw the paranormal was the in thing and cashed in on it. Too bad they do not take as much time to respond to the fans as they do pushing their products.

Everybody Has a Portal? The Problem is Portals ARE NOT Real!

Will not name names here, but for the umpteenth time, I was contacted by a person who was frightened due to the fact that a fake psychic [who appeared on Paranormal State] informed them that they had a portal to the other side on their property. The problem? There is no such thing as portals. Spirits [not ghosts] and demons can come and go from this dimension to the next anywhere, anytime. They DON'T need portals! So if a psychic, ghost hunter or a demon chaser tries to sell you this idiocy, don't buy it.

The Galka Case Part 4

We now reach the final stages of this Ghost Adventures episode, and if it was not clear enough to the viewers that something was a mess -- it should be clear shortly.

The team and family goes into Melissa's bedroom. Notice how Zak presents one more item that Gary builds and sells. Does he call it by a simple name? No, he gives the viewer the name and model number. This was done so Gary could sell more of these devices.

Melissa has friends with her [demons] they ask them to say hello. Do we get hello? Instead, we get "WHAT'S UP?" We then are offered some quick shots that don't match as some type of proof. Zak asks the number of friends with her [a better question would be what are the names of your friends? Then some fact checking could be done but we don't get that]. The demon says: "8, 10, 12." Why is it increasing? Because the demons are gathering for a show and hoping that the show will open up other victims to the scam that Gary is shilling to the public.

When Zak asks the demon to name of the color of the pillow, we get "FRIENDS" in response!

When Zak asks the demon for a name of a person in a photo, do we get it? No [demons can't know everything]. The only response is: "Yeah."

Nick Groff sits on the bed and claims to smell perfume and feel a cold spot. This is proof? No, it's a subjective impression.

The last bit of evidence is when we're informed that the voice says "miss you" but it doesn't. It says mishu, which we can give two meanings. 1. In the Assyrian language, it means a tail of a meteor, which is destructive. 2. Secure [or Security] Housing Unit, is a penal term. It's a prison within a prison, where the worst criminals are locked away. In a sense, the demons behind this have imprisoned the Galka family. In turn, they seek to use this family to lock up more grieving families.

What will happen next? Eventually, the Galka family will start to experience hardship, illness and death as the demonic will claim every single member of the family.

I challenge Zak and the Galka family to have a team of demon experts come into their home and this matter would be easily settled. However, we know Zak never accepts challenges nor would the show want to be proven wrong, so we doubt that it would happen.

David Schrader Shames Skeptics Who Don't Buy Into the Deception

On 6/21/2012, Gary Galka was a guest on David Schrader's radio show, Darkness at the Edge of Town. Airing just four days after Father's Day, the segment was called "A Dad's Afterlife Contact." [Interestingly, such contact has yet to be determined]. The radio show was done in response to those who questioned the validity of the episode and asked fair and honest questions concerning the facts about the Galka case.

David has both a personal and professional relationship with all the players on the show and within the family. Therefore, an issue of partiality must be raised, and his role in the show has to be questioned. Is he the right man to do the show for the above reasons? David has been willing to swim along with the current trend within the paranormal entertainment industry, which is: skeptics be damned. If we say it is this way, it is. If we say it is real, it is. And if you don't play along with us then get out of the field.

David states that there is a dark side to the paranormal; remember his radio show is called DARKNESS AT THE EDGE OF TOWN. It refers to the skeptics who dig into topics that have a right to be heard but may be harsh to others. One subject that was skimmed over by Ghost Adventures is the cause of the wreck. From research done on the matter it appeared that drinking might be involved. If this were true, that fact would influence how people viewed the episode.

David Schrader considers himself a reporter, along with being an active part of the paranormal entertainment industry. He should realize that you must report the good news of the story along with the bad.

Research has revealed that within the area of the Galka family's residence, only two accidents occurred that resulted in death. One was the day of Melissa Galka's car crash. The cause listed: drunk driving. We're awaiting copies of the report.

Gary Galka states that his daughter was racing home in order to meet her 12:30 AM curfew, yet the home where the party was held was nearby. If the curfew was at 12:30, why was she speeding at 60 mph on a residential street? The accident took place well before midnight. So what is the real story?

Gary Galka begins talking about "after death communication" as though it's a proven fact. This isn't the case at all. What he states as being regular events are not regular at all. [Zak and his team fail to bring up the issue that it might be the family's collective conscious guilt for removing the child from life support.] All this is probably responsible for the events within the home. If it's a case of demonic activity, the demon would want to get their attention quickly.

Two notes:

- Cynthia, the mother, states that on holidays and when good things happen, the daughter shows up. However, the mother doesn't say anything about the spirit appearing during bad/troubled times.

- The parents state that once a ball of energy shows up in the house and they claim it was their daughter. Why manifest as a ball of energy and not Melissa? Also, note that neither parent uses the term soul or spirit.

The staged shots that show her watching the home are very interesting as this is how a demon lurks by standing outside the home watching it and all things around it. It's like it's guarding its prey.

Gary shares an EVP, collected by a device that he builds and sells. Zak mentions this to the audience. Is that done in hopes that grieving parents will run out and buy it?

"Hello Daddy, I love you!" is the alleged EVP. Yet no one has proven that the ghost box, no matter what form, even works. Personally, we tested one of the early Frank's Box models [back in 2008] that Chris Moon had. Chris claimed that only 25 people in the world could operate one. After a week of 24/7 testing, we got nothing from our repeated questions and answers. In one case a demon did speak to me through one, but since then, having encounters with the same demon, have gotten nothing through it. Further proof would be if experts outside of the paranormal field matched up the EVP voice to her voice. [Notice how hard Zak tries to sell her voice on the EVP].

Cynthia has an encounter with her daughter while in her car. The radio went out and when she got it to play again, Melissa's favorite song came on. Since the song was very popular to begin with, performed by one of the top country acts, how is this paranormal? It's called coincidence. [If the song came from the 1940s, performed by an unknown/little known act, then that might be something]. A troubling thing happens when she claims she reaches out to the demon and asks it to hold her hand. That is a direct invitation for the demon to come in.

We are shown a fake image of the child watching Zak and her mom at the memorial…always watching. Why? Because that's how a demon monitors situations. Also, note the phrase on the memorial contradicts Christian teaching. It says we only have today and not forever. This is false.

We are told during a scene with Zak and his team in a van, that Gary has never seen her since passing over. This would be one of the seductions by the demon towards Gary, as his ultimate goal is to see and hold his daughter. This will happen at some point. Alas, it won't be his daughter he holds, but a demon.

The show then takes us to the factory owned and operated by Gary. This appears to be a commercial for his business.

A scene more than likely a continuation of the earlier scene, shows Zak and his team being called by Gary about one more EVP. The demon is eager to show itself. The EVP consists of "Hello." Is that all the demon is capable of saying? Now back up to the first EVP. Does that sound like the same voice? Gary says she is fully aware of what is taking place, which would be true. The demon is about to give us a show and further seduce the family, slowly dragging all the Galkas' to hell.

Zak tells us that this is going to change the face of the paranormal change how we view death and the passing of our loved ones it is called a “hard sell’ the only thing it changes at least for the ones that know gods law that the demon is trying to convince others to buy into the lies of Gary and Zak.

Zak shows the viewers a major failure when it comes to spiritual warfare and a very useful tool to call into question all his claims of confronting the demonic. We see the church service in which Zak is blessed for full protection. This is a mistake, as everyone in that house should have had it done.  He did not show us the signs that this service was legitimate. [Much like Paranormal State's "I Am Six" case that featured Ryan Buell entering a State of Grace in a matter of minutes, the same is true here. Putting on the full Armor of God is not done in one service and requires several steps that EVERYONE on the team and in the family must do]. All that happens here is giving a false legitimacy to the investigation. The demon[s] have the family's full blessing for being in the house.

What follows next is a complete copy of the fakery of Paranormal State. We see the crew setting up equipment [that doesn't do what the viewer is told it does], and we then have power going off on some of the things that have been set up.

Suddenly the batteries on Zak's team's equipment begin to fail. Will it be labeled as battery failure? Nope, never on a paranormal reality show. Melissa is doing this, says Gary, who claims he has been asking Melissa to do this all day.

- This would be great proof if Gary had told the team he was doing this. Yet it's only said after the battery failed. [Note the lack of expression on everyone's faces – this was this a setup].

- If we go with the demonic explanation, this would be a wonderful tool to further allow the demons into Gary's life, and the lives of others affiliated with this episode.

The EVP of "he is my friend" isn't nearly as clear as the two earlier ones. [Those who weren't primed to hear "he is my friend" couldn't agree on what the voice said]. Note the sister is sitting there and is seen texting while everyone else is so excited.

There is a series of EVP's of what we are told is singing and whistling but no one wants to attribute it to Melissa. So who is singing and whistling?

- One of the things I've often encountered when dealing with demons in a home environment, especially since all the deceptive stories and claims concerning EVP's, is that the demon will do this as a way to seduce people. "How can a spirit that is singing or whistling possess any kind of threat?"

- It's also possible that they might have picked up on the presence of angels in the home. It doesn't matter if Gary and family are saved or not, angels will battle demons anyplace they encounter them. Notice that once the voice returns, does it say love mom or dad? No it says ‘"they are gone." Those not primed to hear this claim the voice is saying "Dear God."

- We should also note that the voice doesn't say love mom or mention names of other family members. It's all about relating to Gary.

They never test the spirit and ask it about who is Jesus Christ? What about heaven or hell? They never give it the simplest test of writing down a number on a piece of paper and asking for a correct answer.

In addition, the mother doesn't seem all that thrilled. Is she doing this because she has to? Or is she doing this because she wants to?

Ghost Adventures Goes 'Paranormal State' in a Bad Way

We at the EYE have never followed Travel Channel's Ghost Adventures very closely, mostly because few people really take the show seriously. Take a close look at it – it's all just scenery. Zak Bagans, Nick Groff and Aaron Goodwin have great personalities; they're athletic looking young men, and are attractive to the ladies. But what is the show really about but a bunch of people locked down [not really they leave the set during filming for breaks]. They scream and run around in the dark and allegedly get themselves in dangerous situations. [Not really, our on-set source tells us these are staged]. They claim to deal with demons [which they don't].

Now they've crossed the line into Paranormal State territory, and they did it in a very bad way. Sure, they take part in the same lies and deceptions as PRS and that includes staged and faked scenes, false information about demonic activity, and running around with a bunch of useless equipment. But they also do a disservice to the viewer as they begin to TELL the viewer that they are authorities on life after death and what that state is.

What they offer is just milquetoast new age crap loaded with lots of sugar to get the audience to swallow it. They don't end their deceptions with their show as they turn to other paranormal entertainment industry outlets. [We'll deal with them in a later segment of this blog series]. But the worst thing of all is that they take part in a deception that if a person falls for it, may lead that person into demonic bondage.

It saddens me that just about everyone in the paranormal entertainment industry is in it for a buck. Most of them know they are fake, and only a few really allow themselves to be totally delusional about what they do. In fact, the field has become so tainted that they're willing to allow convicted child molesters to work alongside them. Making the next car/house payment trumps that. In the end, they'll face a final judge that won't be impressed by the number of shows they were on, or what their ratings were, or the level a book reached on the bestseller list. The only thing that judge will be impressed with is did they glorify God? Did they teach a path that if followed would lead a person from God to the grasp of a demon? And this is where the problem lies--the Ghost Adventures went to the dark side with the Galka case.

So slippery are their deceptions and trickery that it will take a few blogs to expose them…and expose them we will.

Let me clarify my position on life after death. I'm a Christian and my views on the matter of ghosts have changed recently, after much research and prayer. When a person dies, they go to heaven or hell. If you encounter something that goes bump in the night it's not Casper the friendly ghost but a demon. There is nothing in the teachings of Christ that says ghosts are real. Many new agers try their best to distort Biblical passages, but to reiterate, ghosts aren't real, if you follow the teachings of Christ.

The episode features the Galka family, who lost their teenage daughter, Melissa, to a tragic auto accident. Four days afterwards, they removed her from life support.

The producers of Ghost Adventures and the team know they have a very emotional episode on their hands. They know the audience will get involved in the loss of a pretty, intelligent, talented, and vivacious girl. It's terrible and hits close to home--any parent fears that they might lose their child.

Now here is the twist and it's dandy. The child's dad just happens to build devices that can be used to pick up the presence of a ghost and to talk to them. [Neither of these two things have ever been proven to be real ghosts or the ability to pick up their voices EVP's]. Sure go to the conferences, watch the shows, buy or rent the DVD's, but show the public hard scientific evidence that they exist. I have seen attempts, but once you really start to dig into the reports it always traces itself back to people who have a vested interest in the subject.

Gary Galka owns DAS Distribution, Inc. "DAS Distribution Inc. has been a leading supplier of Precision Non-Contact/Contact Measurement Products, Data Acquisition Systems, Automation Sensors and Test & Inspection Equipment for over 20 Years. Industries served include Wire, Optical Fiber, Medical, Aerospace, Automotive Industries and many more." They also build and sell devices such as the Mel-Meter and the SB7 Spirit Box that allegedly detect the presence of ghosts.

Zak makes much of this fact in the episode, repeating that Gary builds the devices and Ghost Adventures uses them. What does this prove? Nothing. It's simply a way to trick the audience into thinking that if Zak uses them they've got to really pick up ghostly activity. In reality who has proven these things pick up the presence of ghosts? Yes, they pick up something--but is it a ghost? It would have been far more legitimate to mention ONCE that Gary builds them, and leave it at that…but they don't.  

The beginning of the episode is taken right from the now cancelled A&E show Paranormal State.  A voiceover of Zak telling the audience what is about to happen. We see the family in different shots grieving over the loss of their daughter. The team shows up and is welcomed into the home.

We see a series of videos and photos of Melissa.

Then we get to the night of September 24,  2004 Gary had a premonition of something not being right. There's a knock on the door and his world was shattered as he learns that she had been driving a car that hit a tree head on. Four days later, they removed her from life support and she died.
