Antichrist versus Jesus Christ

By Kirby Robinson

There are far better bible scholars out there than me, so I’m not going to try to pass myself off as one. I wish to share my view of who and what the Antichrist is and how he differs from the real Son of God.

Jesus Christ was the only Son of God.

The Antichrist will NOT be the son of God but of a demon.

It’s important to note the well-known but very much misunderstood story concerning the Sons of God [angels] looking on earth woman having sex. This is something a normal angel can’t do. They produced offspring that was neither angel nor human. The offspring became a terror on the surface of the earth, leading men and woman to do the most hateful things in God’s eyes, so that He decided to flood it.

If Satan could tamper with the DNA of man, it could have affected the ability of Christ coming into this world as a man. When the Antichrist enters this world, it will be through the same type of mating by one of the Sons of Man: with a female of this earth. Thus, he can claim he is of man yet his sperm didn’t come from a man.

Much has been made that Barack Obama is the Antichrist—he’s not. Also, George W. Bush was called the Antichrist, so apparently it goes with the job.

Just like Christ, he will be a polarizing figure while on earth.

All who opened their eyes and ears to His teaching loved Christ. Yet there were those who hated Him and wished to kill Him. God refused to step in as the free will that He has given man means so very much to Him.

The message that Christ preached was completely pure and just.

With the Antichrist, the story will be much darker. The Antichrist will be loved by all, [outside of those who have spiritual discernment]. People will be drawn to him and few will be able to find errors in the teachings of the Antichrist.

Some have said that he’ll come from a very wealthy family. Unlike Jesus who came from a middle class family. Some say that he’ll be a politician’s son or of royal blood. Christ was of royal blood. Some teach that he might be a leader in the military, to mock Christ who could call an army of angels to defend and fight for him. Some have even said that he will be a she.

Unlike Christ, who offered His words, and if you refused to hear them, that was up to you, with the Antichrist you damn well better listen to his message and no other. Because if you refuse it then you’ll suffer even to the point of death. What he’ll teach through both his words and the words of the False Prophet will be based on the lie. A lie that started in the Garden of Eden when Eve was told that man can be like God, and moved to the Sons of God who shared secret teachings to humans. To the Tower of Babel when man sought to be on the same level as God seeking to become Gods, and Babylon who taught there was more than one God to follow.

Christ performs real miracles: He raised the dead, healed the sick, made people whole, fed the hungry, and cast out demons.

The Antichrist will do the same but it won’t be through the power of God but by the work of demons. The only act he won’t copy is casting out demons, as the false religion he’ll present won’t have demons.

Dalai Lama Visits Sendai, Focus of the Tohoku Earthquake

Sendai, Japan, 7 April 2014 - Following his arrival in Japan from India yesterday, His Holiness the Dalai Lama today flew from Narita to Sendai. The flight brought him in over coastal areas which three years ago were devastated by the tsunami that followed the great Tohoku Earthquake of March 2011. He was able to land at the Sendai airport that the tsunami flooded and closed.

Warm applause filled the hall when His Holiness appeared on the stage of the Miyagi Kenmin Kaikan hall, which had been recreated as a Shinto shrine. Ms Kawakami Hiroko, Chairperson of the Sendai Welcome Committee and herself a Shinto priest opened the event and introduced His Holiness. She extolled his tireless work for peace and dialogue in the world and expressed the hope that his presence would strengthen hope and confidence among the people of the Tohoku region in the face of great adversity.

There followed an extensive Shinto ceremony conducted by priests of the Yamagata Prefecture Dewasanzan shrine and Miyagi Prefecture Takekoma shrine. Loud blasts on conch shells heralded the arrival of the priests in their elaborate white robes and black head gear. A long invocation prayer was made seeking the help of the Gods of Heaven to clear away misdeeds and impurities. Offerings were made to the haunting strains of the double reed hichiriki and flute and purification rituals conducted involving a priest making energetic sweeps in the air with leafy wands from the flowering evergreen sakaki tree. At the appropriate point His Holiness was also invited to participate. The ceremony was concluded with a short musical recital in which Ms Ishigaki Kiyomi played koto (Japanese harp) while Ishigaki Seiza played shakuhachi (bamboo flute).

“Today, it’s a little more than three years since the most powerful earthquake to hit Japan and the consequent tsunami that caused extensive devastation followed by radiation problems,” His Holiness began. “Many people died, many lost their homes; there’s been widespread grief and sadness. The purification rituals the Shinto priests have performed today are intended to help. I have great respect for all religions because of their intention to help, because they bring people solace.”

He spoke of visiting Shinto shrines before and taking part in prayers, but said this was the most elaborate ceremony he had witnessed. He remarked that the prayers were similar to those he has seen elsewhere, which involve invoking the gods and making offerings and requests to them. He explained that from a Buddhist point of view there are transcendental gods who are enlightened who can be of help and worldly gods who can be more mischievous.

“The Indian Buddhist master Nagarjuna says that if you allow yourself to remain depressed you won’t be able to overcome the problems that confront you. Therefore it’s important to keep up your spirits and remain confident that you can do what you set out to do.”

He asked those who had been directly affected by the quake and tsunami to raise their hands and offered his condolences and sympathy to all who had suffered. He recalled visiting Fukushima in late 2011 to comfort victims and share their pain. When they wept he felt like weeping with them, but even then he advised them that it would not help to remain downcast. Being depressed in the face of trouble only adds to it. He said that he often cites the remarkable way that the German and Japanese peoples rebuilt their nations out of the ashes of the Second World War as inspiring examples for others to follow. The key is to have self-confidence, determination and a firm resolve.

“If tragedy strikes, don’t lose hope. Transform it into an opportunity to make things better.”

He suggested that it is very sad to lose family and friends, but if we imagine that they can see us from heaven, or wherever they are, to see their loved ones dismayed and downhearted will only fill them with sadness too. To see us optimistic and full of hope will make them happy. Calling on his own experience he said:

“At the age of 16 I lost my freedom and at the age of 24 I lost my country. I’ve lived as a refugee for 55 years and yet I’ve never lost hope or given in to pessimism. As human beings we all have brothers and sisters who come to our aid. You Japanese are part of the 7 billion alive today who have feelings and experiences similar to yours.”

He mentioned that when Tibetan refugees were given land in different parts of India on which to settle, much of it was untamed jungle. In one place in particular it was also very hot. To begin with the people there pleaded to be moved elsewhere saying it was so hot they would surely die. His Holiness advised them to take things easily, to stay in the shade when the heat blazed and when he visited a year later teased them that they weren’t dead yet. In due course this became a successful settlement that he has visited again quite recently. He repeated that a great deal depends on determination and resolve.

Chuckling, His Holiness mentioned his appreciation of the care Japanese take over so much that they do. He added that since his first visit in 1967 he has noticed that while making good use of modern science and technology Japan still has strong spiritual traditions in Shintoism and Buddhism. There is an ability to combine material development with spiritual or inner values. Traditions such as respect for elders and children’s respect for their parents are worth preserving. However, he remarked that too much solemnity and an artificial smile risks a drift to hypocrisy. Then, laughing again, he said he had only one grumble and that was that Japanese food is often beautiful to look at and made of excellent ingredients, but there isn’t enough to fill you up.

Answering questions from the audience he advised that it is always helpful to remain honest and truthful in the face of difficulty.

“You should examine whether what you want to do is really feasible. Research your goal and adopt a realistic approach. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. Be honest, truthful and concerned for the well-being of others. To be self-centred instead leads to fear and suspicion, which more often than not ends in loneliness.”

About prayer he said it makes sense in traditions that believe in a creator to pray to god. From the Buddhist point of view, however, the Heart Sutra, for example, is not so much a prayer as a description of reality. And understanding reality is how we counter ignorance. Wisdom is the primary factor on the basis of which Buddhists develop faith and compassion.

To a woman who described the difficulty of dealing with three years of hardship His Holiness quoted Shantideva as saying that if there is a solution to something there’s no need to worry about it and if there isn’t, worrying won’t help. To a request to explain reincarnation he said it could take a week and that it would be better to find out more about it by reading books. Asked what has made him happy, His Holiness replied:

“To be a bhikshu, a Buddhist monk, and to be a follower of the Nalanda tradition. When I reach a new understanding of something I’m reading it brings me great satisfaction. Thinking about the awakening mind of bodhichitta and emptiness brings me a real sense of joy.”

He concluded by reciting his favourite verse from Shantideva’s ‘Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life’:

‘For as long as space endures
And for as long as living beings remain,
Until then may I too abide
To dispel the misery of the world.'

Ghirardelli Chocolate Supreme Brownie Mix Review

By Lisa Maliga
Photo and text copyright 2014

Looking for a treat to bake for your next paranormal investigation or ghost hunt? Or are you just a big fan of chocolate and enjoy reading reviews? In either case, here's my opinion of a certain easy-to-bake brownie. Photographic evidence is seen at the end of this post!

It was an impulse purchase this box of brownie mix. I needed to bake brownies so I could photograph them for my next eBook cover. So I bypassed the usual suspects of Betty Crocker and Duncan Hines for the more expensive alternative, Ghirardelli Chocolate Supreme Brownie Mix. Like the others, the additives were few—water, vegetable oil and just one egg. It also contained a chocolate syrup pouch for added flavor—something I always appreciate. The one thing I couldn’t do was add any walnuts as the brownies featured in my book are sans nuts or any other type of fun ingredients like marshmallows, coconut, caramel or even frosting. But that's a-ok because a true brownie will taste marvelous no matter how simple the ingredients are. And the brownies in my book are baked from scratch but they do require a bit more work than a mix brownie.

Now if you're short on time and want an easy to make brownie, I can highly recommend the Ghirardelli Chocolate Supreme Brownie Mix. Also, if you're a fan of buttery brownies, I suggest you grease the baking pan with butter instead of using cooking spray.

Ghirardelli kindly includes such valuable tips as not overbaking brownies. To many of you, that may be a no-brainer. To me it's a major issue as I love soft and chewy cookies and especially slightly underbaked brownies as they tend to be heavy. However, if you want a thicker, heavier brownie they suggest adding two eggs and less water.

Being impressed with Ghirardelli's brownie mix isn't a surprise. I enjoy their chocolate, especially their peppermint bark. For more information about this well named brownie mix, here's the page:

Next week on my blog I'll be showing you the cover of my forthcoming eBook that will be featuring brownies…and more!

The Devil is Coming to the Big Screen

Movies about demons are certainly taking over. Not in a healthy manner. It just seems evil is taking over entertainment industry and won't be slowing down. Three more evil type movies have been promoted this week: Oculus, The Quiet Ones, and Mr. Jones. Very disturbing trailers. This is not healthy. This is bad on so many levels when one isn't of full mind thinking black magic is safe with no ramifications.

Hello my para beauties! I pray everyone has had a great weekend and the weather was good for your weekend. Spring is here finally! That always helps lifts our spirits up a tad. Out with the old in with the new. Good old spring cleaning. New goals are set for the new season and all that good stuff. Not to mention Easter is coming in which we celebrate our Lord Jesus Christ resurrected from the grave to go be with the father in heaven. Amen!

Whenever there is a holiday the glorifies Christ, Satan hates it. He will do what he can to ruin it and create strife. He mimics all the church does into his own perverted way that's taking place all over the world as we speak. How ironic these diabolical movies are coming out at the same time or close to Easter. These latest movies I see coming out are about pure evil for entertainment. Just diabolical evil. This does nothing but awaken anything out there and keep it alive. Now they do have real problems on their hands now! Law Of Attraction my friends. Attachments do happen. Harmless movie as some call it can already open some bad doors.

A demon/daemon or fiend, is a supernatural, often malevolent being prevalent in religion, occultism, literature, fiction, mythology and folklore. The original Greek word daimon does not carry the negative connotation initially understood by implementation of the Koine δαιμόνιον (daimonion),[1] and later ascribed to any cognate words sharing the root.

In Ancient Near Eastern religions as well as in the Abrahamic traditions, including ancient and medieval Christian demonology, a demon is considered an unclean spirit, sometimes a fallen angel, the spirit of a deceased human, or a spirit of unknown type which may cause demonic possession, calling for an exorcism. In Western occultism and Renaissance magic, which grew out of an amalgamation of Greco-Roman magic, Jewish demonology and Christian tradition, [2] a demon is a spiritual entity that may be conjured and controlled.

Many are attempting to summon Incubus/Succubus demons for sexual pleasure and/or companionship. This they get from movies, TV shows etc...This is not safe and you will regret what you open up. Incubus/Succubus given legal ground are very hard to get rid of. We have people attempting Black Magic are fooled as they believe demons can be controlled and will do their bidding. The fact is these demons ONLY OBEY SATAN! Listen to me please....Do not be fooled. Do not let your curiosity get the better of your judgement! Seriously.....once you open yourself up to that it becomes very real. In a moment I will have scripture for you to read for yourself. I do not waiver outside of the Gospel, it's God's Word. Our instructions for life. No one is perfect. That is not what this is about. I'm receiving disturbing information and it concerns me. There is no need to summon any dark force I beg of you. You will regret it. They can NOT be safely called upon like you may think they can. You will pay a price, I promise you will. Depression is just the beginning of what you mentally suffer. These movies and books are so much more dangerous than people realize.

Satisfying Life?

By Pastor Stephen Piersall,
God’s Preservation Ministry Soul Care

gpmsc.org        https://www.facebook.com/GodsPreservationMinistry

Joining the USAF and going through Basic Training, they do their best to “brain wash” you from your civilian habits to get you to accept the USAF’s way to do things. Getting married and moving into your first home together, takes at least a one-year transition period to experience the whole person 24/7. We learn not to say anything about the pink bathroom, and learn QUICKLY to leave the toilet seat up (Why can’t they do the same when they're finished?) There is so much talk currently about the end of times. Earthquake here, unknown disease there, False Prophets teaching unbiblical agendas tailored to the “Me” and “I want it instantly generation", the New Age movement, Occult, Wiccan, etc. Sure I am as interested as the next person, but something I spend most of my days is doing what God wants me to do. I am sure there are many who wrestle with this, and few take appropriate steps to become a Christian as God planned out for us. However, I don’t want to! I want my cake and eat it too! I’m happy for the way I am now! I do what I want and some old book that was written 2000 years ago does not apply to me on this day in age! Sigh!

It is often necessary for us to take time to assimilate to things, which have happened in our lives, just as we need time to digest a large meal. "Assimilation" (sounds Borg to me) consists of making something to which we have been exposed a part of our innermost selves. The universe functions in cycles and so do we humans. Think about the cycles in nature: seasons, tides, day and night, life cycles, etc. In view of this, it must seem natural that you, too, are the subject of cycles. Don't fight the tide - go with it and learn to benefit from it. The "good life," "satisfying" work, feeling "fulfilled" etc. comes at a price. We have to be willing to accept and change accordingly. Ever feel convicted of a sin, e.g. “unforgiveness to someone who has hurt you” and out of nowhere we feel a need to correct it. This applies to all sins, but with my example, do you really think you are in God’s good graces and yet can’t find it within ourselves to forgive someone? What about the Lord’s Prayer in Luke 11:2-4? “And forgive us our sins for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation.”

How do you know if you are doing God’s will? You have to remember that the Christian life is not always smooth and easy. With all that in mind, if you haven’t so far, spend some alone time with God and ask him what is his plan for your life. Remember it is “his” plan, which was previously formulated before you were born. If you are a Christian going through struggles, there are many options to turn to helping you get on the straight and narrow. We can be of help too. If you have no concern at all except get your own and live life to the fullest, Good Luck with your path. As Christians, we don’t believe in luck, everything is for a purpose as God intended for us. Sure the end of times are making the news, but if you haven’t assured yourself with eternal life, Just get on your knees and look up, I am confident the rest will fall in place.

How NOT to Vent on Facebook...(Avoiding a Scheme)‏

By Reverend Mark Hunnemann

Psalms 73

A psalm of Asaph.

1 Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart.
2 But as for me, my feet had almost slipped; I had nearly lost my foothold.
3 For I envied the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
4 They have no struggles; their bodies are healthy and strong.
5 They are free from common human burdens; they are not plagued by human ills.
6 Therefore pride is their necklace; they clothe themselves with violence.
7 From their callous hearts comes iniquity; their evil imaginations have no limits.
8 They scoff, and speak with malice; with arrogance they threaten oppression.
9 Their mouths lay claim to heaven, and their tongues take possession of the earth.
10 Therefore their people turn to them and drink up waters in abundance.
11 They say, "How would God know? Does the Most High know anything?"
12 This is what the wicked are like-always free of care, they go on amassing wealth.
13 Surely in vain I have kept my heart pure and have washed my hands in innocence.
14 All day long I have been afflicted, and every morning brings new punishments.
15 If I had spoken out like that, I would have betrayed your children.
16 When I tried to understand all this, it troubled me deeply
17 till I entered the sanctuary of God; then I understood their final destiny.
18 Surely you place them on slippery ground; you cast them down to ruin.
19 How suddenly are they destroyed, completely swept away by terrors!
20 They are like a dream when one awakes; when you arise, Lord, you will despise them as fantasies.
21 When my heart was grieved and my spirit embittered,
22 I was senseless and ignorant; I was a brute beast before you.
23 Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand.
24 You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
27 Those who are far from you will perish; you destroy all who are unfaithful to you.
28 But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds.

This may seem like an odd topic, but I have observed that frequently our grousing on Facebook (or any public forum) breaks a cardinal principle of Scripture. One person (who shall remain anonymous) has a powerful ministry within the paranormal community...he is a godly and very experienced and competent man. However, every other month he "quits" publicly on FB, citing all kinds of issues and complaints. A day or two later, he is back on as if nothing had happened. But something HAD happened--he had dishonored God and caused people to stumble.

I chose Psalm 73 because the psalmist gives full vent to deep discouragement--he holds nothing back. In doing so, he gives us an inspired model of how to complain to God. The Lord knows our feelings--and feelings are feelings are feelings. They often come upon us unbidden, especially when we are discouraged. I have long believed that discouragement is Satan's most often used weapon in large arsenal. Face it, we DO get or feel discouraged at times--all of us. I certainly do.

Please note verse 15, "If I had said, 'I will speak thus', I would have betrayed the generation of your children." In other words, the psalmist realized that if he PUBLICLY gave full vent to how he was feeling, then he was certain to cause others to stumble. Please don't misunderstand me--we are invited to be brutally honest with the Lord regarding our struggles. And it is often encouraging to read that others struggle too...we are not alone. But, when it gets really bad, then we must exercise caution in what we say in public. Have you ever said anything on FB and later wished you hadn't?

We give the devil a royal boost when we "let it rip" in public, because the folks who read it may be scandalized, confused, or who knows what else. It seems that, for some folks, Facebook has become a public confessional of their  problems and discouragement.

I wish we had the time to go through the entire psalm, but the realization that he was responsible for how his venting affected others, was a key turning point--along with  a fresh perspective of the dual destinies of mankind. This is another scheme of Satan that we must avoid for the glory of God, and the welfare of others. Please think before you say something, especially in public. God bless you...

The Noah Movie and the Supernatural

By Lisa Grace

Over the last few weeks, three religious themed movies debuted, and have gone on to break projected earnings in their time-to-date on the big screen. Two of these movies, Son of God, God’s Not Dead, are solidly Christian.

The third, Noah, directed by Darren Aronofsky, has had Christians arguing whether it is “Christian” or not, because it is about a man named Noah and the Flood.

Whether Aronofsky’s Noah is the Bible’s Noah is actually the wrong question and the wrong debate.

If you’ve read your Bible, it is obvious that Aronofsky, who is a self-proclaimed atheist, did not base the movie on the biblical Noah. End of story, it is not a Christian film.

What did Aronofsky base his Noah movie on?
I guess it hasn’t dawned on most Christians or believers, that the sixty-six books we commonly call the Bible, or the first five that make up the Torah, are not the only ancient scriptures around that mention the flood story or Noah.

As Dr. Brian Mattson so brilliantly points out in his blog titled Sympathy For The Devil http://drbrianmattson.com/journal/2014/3/31/sympathy-for-the-devil Aronofsky’s vision of Noah is the one found in decidedly non-Christian sources, the Kabbalah http://www.jewfaq.org/kabbalah.htm and the book of Enoch 1 http://www.earlyjewishwritings.com/1enoch.html http://www.ancienttexts.org/library/ethiopian/enoch/.

Gnostic sources. Read here for a greater knowledge of what Gnosticism is: http://www.iep.utm.edu/gnostic/

The devil, who is extremely fond of deceiving weak and uninformed Christians, (and if he could, even the very elect [Mark13:22; Matthew 24:24] as we are warned in the Holy Scriptures, and the warning is in place because of teachings and movies like this) because as he knows, a little knowledge can be dangerous.
The great deceiver knows the Bible better than any believer. He also knows all the perverted writings, since he himself is the muse behind those writings.

I wish believers would stop saying its okay to promote this as a “Christian” or a “believer’s” film; it’s not. It is the Gnostic mystical view that contradicts the Holy Scriptures.

The problem with this movie is it promotes falsehoods about what we know how the supernatural world and beings work, according to the Holy Scriptures, the only authoritative work for believers.
