What Exactly are Historical Place Hauntings?

Some people who have visited old buildings, cemeteries, battlefields, etc. where something traumatic has happened do report seeing the same images or appearances, like short videos, happening over and over again. Some are tied to even a specific time.

If we know ghosts- defined as the spirit of a person, are no longer on this plain, then what are people seeing?

The Holy Scriptures speak of different types of spirits: fear, anger, etc. This is most likely what people are encountering. Evil entities composed of emotion that are reliving a moment over and over. There is great anguish tied to the event, which they cling to. Unlike a possessed person where the destruction of the individual is the target, these beings attach to the emotion. In effect, taking a small emotional video or snapshot of the person living the event.

They are no more the person than a Youtube video of a person is that person.

If you manage to communicate with one, you are in danger of having them attach, and follow you. Since it takes strong emotion (“the bait” to attract them), this may be a slim chance, which is why so many stay put in the location they attained the strongest feeling.

Issue 93-The Darkness on the Edge of Town Spreads Throughout Town

We knew that our new book would rock boats and cause people to get mad and use words they shouldn’t utter around women and kids. From reports we’ve received, it has done that. But what it isn’t doing is encouraging para-celebs to come out and admit that helped take part in carrying out the deceptions that are exposed within Never Mock God: An Unauthorized Investigation into Paranormal State’s “I Am Six” Case.

This also deals with the late Andrew Calder. We aren’t calling him a bad man or a huckster. But what we must say is the facts clearly show he and his supporters weren’t telling the truth about his ordination. After his appearance on Paranormal State, he was no longer ordained. Even after his death, they keep making false claims about that ordination. One of our investigators got this reply when inquiring about his ordination.

He was a ordained with the CEEC, the Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches, with full authorization and dispensation by his Bishop and Archbishop to perform exorcisms and deliverances.

About the only thing true in the above comment can be found within the first 13 words. What they don’t tell you is that the CEEC has nothing to do with the Episcopal Church of America. The leadership of the Episcopal Church has never heard of the CEEC. The word Episcopal Church within the CEEC simply stands for the style of worship they take part in. It is different from most evangelical churches, and it does NOT make a member of the CEEC an Episcopal priest.

As to the other deceptions within the statement, I address them in detail in the book.

Just one person can’t carry out a deception of this scale. You need others who are willing to play along, and others help you sell it. We show how Ryan Buell and Chip Coffey helped him sell it and remained quiet about it. We show also how PRS/Paranormal State also spread the lie.

If you Google Andrew Calder’s name you’ll see interview after interview, appearance after appearance, article after article—all containing the term Episcopal Priest. You hear or read the term ordained. Some claim he was an ordained Independent Catholic Priest. He wasn’t. 

But what you’re not hearing is anyone asking questions about this. We do ask why.

After the book is finished, you send out ARC’s [Advance Review Copies] to media outlets. Yes, some are even those who helped Andrew Calder spread his deceptions. To date we have no response from any and we understand the book catches them in a lie that they can’t get over. You’re either ordained or you’re not. It is like being pregnant--you are or you’re not.

One such media outlet is the Darkness on the Edge of Town hosted by David Schrader. Dave claims he is open to talking about the truth whether it is ugly or not. We got this response:

Hate to say it, but that darkness has moved from the outskirts of your town and now surrounds you. Don’t mock GOD. You allowed Andrew Calder to spread his lies. You claim that you like the truth yet you allow your show to spread lies. This includes all the fake para-celebs that appear on your show who soak the public with their lies. Members of the new age who preach a false doctrine to your audience. And the cunning hucksters of psychics who take people’s money for entertainment purposes only.

Some will claim that what I seek is to be on his show. No, that is far from the truth. All Dave would have to do is contact the Episcopal Church and find out if they ordained Andrew Calder. He would get his answer. He could call the CEEC and ask when/why did Andrew Calder lose his ordination? Why is the CEEC not part of the Episcopal Church? Dave could go on the air and say he is sorry for allowing his show to be used to deceive people.

That’s all very simple and maybe then the darkness would retreat to the edge of town. My feeling is that the darkness will keep on growing as the lies and deceptions keep on flowing…

Dalai Lama Laces Piety with Humor

Meditation and prayer don’t hold a candle to direct action, the Dalai Lama told a sold-out crowd this morning at Middlebury College.

If you want to change the world, that is.

“Investigate reality thoroughly,” explained the charismatic spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism. “You must be realistic. You must look at reality from different angles and from a distance.”

The most effective purveyors of violence employ those means — so why shouldn’t we? he asked, before breaking into a long chuckle.

Hundreds of appreciative titters and guffaws swept through the audience of 2,800 ticket-holders at the college’s Nelson Arena, and among those who watched and listened to off-site, live-stream projections of the event.

Humor punctuated much of the half-hour talk and a subsequent discussion of pre-submitted questions.

His speech, “Finding Common Ground: Ethics for a Whole World,” was the second in two days at the liberal arts institution.

During much of his seemingly improvised talk, he advocated for the practice (teaching and learning) of “secular ethics, not based on religious faith,” as a universal path to empathy.

But as often as not, the winner of the 1989 Nobel Peace Prize, known formally as His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, seemed intent on puncturing preconceptions of his own piety.

He occasionally rocked back on his onstage sofa to laugh, saffron robes waving and brown oxfords swept airborne.

He found humor in his determination that America’s political parties currently are “in substance, not much different.”

When asked whether Americans should refrain from visiting Tibet because of its implicit support for the Chinese occupation, the Dalai Lama, 77, didn’t hesitate: Contact of any kind with Tibetans would surely help in the long run.

“I think whenever you have the opportunity, you should go,” he said.

It’s a costly journey, he added, still keeping a straight face. The cash-strapped tourist might borrow money for the trip, buy what look and smell like Tibetan antiques — and then sell them for a profit later.

He cracked a wide grin, and it met with laughter and applause.

Chinese authorities had once called him a “demon,” the Dalai Lama continued: “Maybe, but a warm-hearted demon!”

The author of one submitted question noted his radiant smile: What is his secret?

“If it’s a secret, then maybe I should keep it,” the Dalai Lama answered, and burst into another bobbing spell of mirth.

Yet the talk had its serious moments.

A reasoned appreciation of humanity’s common identity and concerns is essential to our survival in the 21st century, the Dalai Lama said: “At the present time, destruction of your enemy is the destruction of yourself.

“There will still be conflict, but there must be a change of methods,” he added. “This can be a century of dialogue.”

He elaborated on the theme later in the morning: “I don’t believe peace will come through prayer. It will come through our actions.”

This weekend’s visit was the Tibetan’s third to Middlebury; he participated in symposiums at the college in 1984 and 1990.

U.S. Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., who has known the Dalai Lama for years, introduced him Saturday as “a man of remarkable humility, patience, and perseverance,” with “a steady voice of reason and compromise” through years of exile.

Some of that perseverance surfaced Saturday during a silent, nearly slapstick bid by each man to insist that the other be seated first.

The Dalai Lama won.

The Coming Storm

In the last twenty five years the Lord has given me several prophecies regarding what is to come to the United States. If I am to keep to my limitations of this article I can only share a portion of them. I feel now is the time to begin to share these verifiable stories.

I was in Virginia in a very small, (Only a post office) town. I went into my usual prayer spot; the bathroom, because it was so perfectly dark. I was on my knees interceding for the U.S. crying out for mercy, begging for mercy, over the garden tub at the back of the room when I had a vision of a mountain with a dark cloud on the top of it, and heard the voice of God the Father speak.

Now the room was totally dark so seeing a mountain with a dark cloud was strange and I had never thought about there being a difference between the voice of the Lord and of the Father but there is. The voice of the Father shook me to my core and I literally found myself at the front of the bathroom against the wall, don’t know how. But here is what the Father said: “My dear child, my Judgment IS my mercy”. I knew immediately what he meant and began to cry out for his judgment to come, tears streaming down my face; come and cleanse the land washing it of the innocent blood, the horrible sin that you could once again walk amongst us. Once again the land would be blessed.

After this time of prayer I was so touched by the intensity of God I was in bed for three days sick.

Back in 1989 the Lord had set me and my children in a house in the woods for a time of intercession. I did not realize it at the time because I have never been a political person; I centered my prayer life on people.

The intercession for the United States began; it was everyday hours a day, for a period of eight months. I began to see fences down everywhere on the 80 acres we were living on and everywhere I went. Day after day I saw fences down and realized the Lord was showing me our-the U.S.’s fences down. I cried out and cried out it seemed to no avail. The intercession became so intense at one point I felt the presence of the Lord leaving. I was almost hysterical, “please Lord don’t leave me” “you have promised Lord to not leave me or forsake me, please Lord” I cried. It was so intense I pulled a muscle in my stomach. And of course the Lord was talking about the U.S. not me personally but it felt like me.

I was so horrified; I knew the darkness that would come. I cried and cried if judgments must come please Lord let it be from your merciful hand and not our enemies. Please Lord.

In the first week of January I had a dream, I saw Peter standing weeping; he had just rejected the Lord. I heard the Lord say; “my people think they are filled with the Holy Spirit but they are not. They will not be able to stand what is to come”. I woke up weeping and crying.

The next night I had another dream: I saw a log cabin in a huge field and off in the distance was a fire coming. I ran out into the field of wheat to hide with all the children I had with me. When we ducked down in this little clearing in the field I remember thinking that was stupid to go into a burning wheat field to hide and the wheat had turned to corn with the ears tiny and covered with mold, but as the fire approached it went right overhead without harming us.

A year later to the week (first week of January) I had another dream: I was on the farm I was raised at, In front of me was the house next door which my parents also owned. In this house was a great light and children everywhere; they were even swinging from the chandeliers.  To the right of me was a little man sitting on a stump looking out over the field. I looked up to see what he was looking at and on the edge of the field were four or five huge tornadoes. I had never seen this type before; miles wide and black, not like a funnel. (After living in Oklahoma; I now know these exist) I woke up horrified.

 Now for the third year in a row, the first week in January I had another dream; It was the same as above with all the children and the tornadoes and the little man, only this time to the left of me in back of the house was the brick foundation of a big barn and directly to my left was a big gray foggy wall and I could hear my sister and my cousins have a good time saying lets have a party you get the sodas and Ill get the food. I looked over to the little man and he was looking in the field as before only this time the tornadoes were in the field coming straight at us. I turned and screamed into the gray foggy cloud please the storm is here run, run. Please…. I began sobbing they would not hear me and I had to decide to either run into the fog to try to get them or gather the children and go to the firm foundation of the barn. I grabbed the children weeping and sobbing all the way to the foundation. I woke up sobbing and cried for weeks. I knew the United States would suffer 4-5 storms before it would collapse.

The first storm was 9-11, the second was Katrina, and this devastating storm; Sandy was the third, we have one or two left. Please heed the cry of the watchmen, run, run to the safety of our firm foundation in Christ. Run into the arch and close the door, fill your lamps and come to the skirts of the lord and hide as the little chicks run under mummy’s feathers.

Psychic Kids is as Fake as Paranormal State

Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal – The Demon House review [August 22, 2008]

"Dear Kirby it was nice to read your comments to my last question as well as receiving your personal e-mail. I hate to do this again but with the wife gone and my children being grown living life on their own now I watch a lot of telly. I recently watched 'Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal' and was rather chuffed. But one episode troubled me very much the demon house. Did it trouble you also?" Your friend in Christ, Jack

Unfortunately, for both the general public as well as those involved in the field of the paranormal, we are caught up in a cult of personality as well as the need to "crank" things up on many of the current reality paranormal programs. Because the star(s) of the program are so appealing and we want to like then so we blindly accept everything that they spoon feed us. We fear that reality isn't exciting enough to draw in ratings that reality is dressed up a bit with some fictional story lines. This is hurting the public and destroying the credibility of the paranormal field that so many people have worked hard to legitimize.

I watched all six episodes of [season one] Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal at least once, and "The Demon House" episode many times. And I've consulted with others to compare my reactions and refine my opinions.

I do not know Chip Coffey, never met the man, and I'm not going to engage in any personal attacks.

One of the problems with this show is that every time Chip Coffey first meets one of the children and asks them to perform some kind of psychic skill, the kids are always 100% accurate 100% of the time.

The first time I viewed "The Demon House" I couldn't believe what I was seeing, and with each successive viewing it gets worse.

Before moving on, let me write this in plain English: I get no personal pleasure from this whatsoever. But I have made a commitment to the truth, I've promised to help ALL and I feel that I'm being led to write these words, so I couldn't be what I am if I shirk my metaphysical duty.

So, here is my analysis of "The Demon House."

Each episode begins with a statement that reads: "This is a documentary." By definition that means it's to be factual and objective, which implies that events and situations will not be manipulated within either the production or presentation.

"The Demon House" opens with a young girl in Houston, Texas by the name of Hailey. She's 12, and lives with her mother, Ileana. The girl sees a spirit of a man that threatens her and brings other spirits that have physically and verbally threatened to harm her. She lives in fear of said violence. The mother claims that there's no help and all this is starting to impact Hailey's life.

At this point in the episode, I feel that Hailey is telling the truth and there is certainly a negative presence in her room and closet that is potentially harmful to both her and her mother.

We then meet Alexa, 14, from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida who claims she has seen ghosts and demons since the age of 8. The family fled 2 years ago from a house that is demonic, and they have been unable to return to it except for brief moments in the daylight hours. Alexa claims, "Someone is there and it kinda freaks me out." Leslie, Alexa's mother, states, "Things happen." We are never told what events led to the family fleeing nor why she waited for 2 years to seek help for the house. In the background we notice a door is open and Alexa freaks out when a bird flies through the house. We learn that she has had issues when it comes to social adjustment.

Alexa then describes the demon she claims to have seen and says, "It was anger, frustration, and betrayal." She claims to see a shadow run by and she can stand next to it with no impact.

Mom says, "She is afraid to talk about her child's issues due to fear that they will say that Alexa is crazy, take her away, and put her into a mental institution." Which are basically the same fears that Hailey's mother has uttered in her on camera interview.

At this point, if Alexa and her mother came to me concerning this home and telling me that there was demonic activity occurring there, I would be very hard pressed to believe them. And here's why:

Point 1 – A bird flying through the house is not proof of spirit activity, but an open door.

Point 2 – Alexa makes a big effort physically as well as verbally, to sell her story. Point in fact, is when she uses three terms to sell the demon to the audience. This is often done for dramatic reasons within film, TV, and literature.

Point 3 – Leslie never explains what really happened that night in the home that drove them out. Leaving lots of personal possessions behind and not returning to claim them, sounds as if one of the elements of the Amityville Horror myth is being borrowed. Notice the shiny black countertops in the kitchen and the overall lack of dust and cobwebs.

Point 4 – Alexa claims that a shadow moved across the light, yet we never see anything.

Point 5 – Alexa claims that a demon/dark spirit at one point is standing right next to her and is very upset about her presence. Yet nothing happens. And if you ever suffer the unfortunate opportunity to stand next to a demon, you will know it.

Point 6 – Neither Alexa or her mother ever inform the viewers that they are both regulars at new age/psychic conferences within the state of Florida, according to some professionals that I've worked with in that area. This would give them great insight into knowing the terminology.

Now Chip Coffey and Dr. Lisa Miller enter and begin to work with Alexa. Due to wanting to keep this a reasonable length, I'm not going to focus on anything except the demon house and Hailey's fear of the dark presence. An important point is when Hailey brings out the mirror and tells a bored looking Chip the mirror is a portal into the spiritual world and at one time she sees Isaiah, chapter 26 written on it. This passage happens to deal with how God shall protect the righteous but He also shall judge those who have turned to other gods and engaged in destructive behavior.

Chip and Dr. Miller discuss the fear that was at the old house would follow Alexa to the new house. Chip states, unequivocally, that it is something they need to focus on. Now let's stop here.

1. Chip should have taken the time to find out what that Bible quote meant. And taken a look, spiritually, himself, at the mirror.

2. The family moved out of the old house two years ago. If the demon chose to follow the family, it would have. This is certainly an issue because the viewer is led to believe that Alexa is its target. So why didn't the demon follow its desired target?

They agree to take the two girls to the demon house and Chip promises to teach them means of protection and the happy trio set off to the home.

Point 1 – Concerning spiritual protection -- it is not something you learn in a few minutes. There are many aspects of it, which is not something that can be taught in one session.

Point 2 – I think the reader should be getting my opinion that the demon house is without a demon, and there's nothing there to be afraid of.

The first trip made to the house features Chip, Alexa, and Hailey. Nothing happens, at least on tape. There are no noises, no movement, no voices, and no visual clues whatsoever. Alexa claims she smells something bad and that this is supposed proof of demonic activity. Some points to consider here:

Point 1 – Alexa's claim of one demon now has grown to many demons.

Point 2 – Chip, with an eerily lit face, which calls to mind The Blair Witch Project movie, begins to toss the word demon around.

Point 3 – Isn't it strange that only Alexa is "attacked" in the van after the demon house walk through?

Point 4 – Hailey states, "All you have to do is say 'in the name of God, leave me alone!' and they have to leave you alone." Which is totally untrue, and if she was taught this on the set, there's somebody there that doesn't know much about demonology. You must be a Christian to invoke the authority of God.

The show really goes downhill from here and if this wasn't serious, it would make a great comedy hour.

Point 1 – Linda, the demonologist, and her assistant, Beth, don't ask any questions of Chip concerning the case. They let Chip tell them that the house is demonically possessed; therefore it must be demonically possessed. Yet Chip has declared in this show and in Paranormal State that he is not a demonologist or an exorcist.

Point 2 – Alexa and Hailey both affirm that something is going to happen when they go to the house that night and again, nothing does except Alexa says she feels sick.

Point 3 - Telling the kids that they can come to the house cleansing is a huge mistake on their parts. House cleansings are no joke and I've seen as much demonic violence in a house cleansing as in an exorcism.

Point 4 – Linda shows that she is clearly lacking the ability of spiritual discernment when she handles Hailey's mirror, and she is totally condescending towards Hailey when she asks about the angry spirits. Linda just tells Hailey to ask them why they're angry. Maybe Hailey's residence, not being in Florida but in Texas, was too far away to cleanse. Maybe it wasn't in the show's budget.

Point 5 – When traveling in the van before arriving at the demon house, Chip builds up tension by saying, "It knows we're coming and it knows what's planned." Yet again, nothing happens.

Point 6 – Hailey and her mother are told it will be safe to stay outside of the demon house. Demons can come out through the doors, windows, walls, ceilings, and from underground. So standing outside is not a safe place, either.

Point 7 – When they are doing their walk-through, Linda, the demonologist, picks up nothing.

Point 8 – Alexa, again sounds the alarm that the demon is going to do something. Again, what happens? Nothing!

Point 9 – Alexa aggressively tells the demon to leave her alone and suddenly she is free of its presence. Which is about as likely as a pea shooter stopping an oncoming tank.

Point 10 – The house cleansing that was performed was amateurish at best, simply going through a house and rebuking and putting crosses on the walls is not a house cleansing.

Unfortunately, at the end, the child that needed the most help was left without really spending any time with Chip. She received no guidance from Dr. Miller, nor were the spirits removed from her home.

This is like a low-budget action flick that spends the majority of the movie building up the confrontation between the hero and his arch-enemy. And then, at the very end, the showdown is over in mere seconds. We were given the false impression that this was a serious demon, yet it turned out to be weaker than Casper the friendly ghost.

What we have here is hype over substance. Excitement and danger over reality. And illusion combined with delusion giving us a cloudy picture of what really did and did not happen. Every time a show is done like this there's a cost. People see these shows and accept them as being real and they build up their belief systems from that. Then, in real life, they act out what they've seen.

The demon house was an empty house that now has a life of its own via the internet and TV. No one was ever in danger nor could they have been. What was and still is in danger is the truth. It becomes more clouded and more difficult to comprehend as it gets blended with fallacy and half truths. The gullible general public, who seek a greater understanding, end up buying in to a mish mash of reality.

Residuals...Where Dost Thou Reside?

In this blog I want to focus on the most common form of alleged haunting…the residual haunt. The consensus in the spiritistic community (I refuse to call it paranormal anymore) is that most supernatural activity is residual in nature—for that reason alone, it is exceedingly important. I know some Christians who don’t believe in trapped spirits, but DO believe in residual haunts because it does not involve the trapping of a human soul (well, only a portion of it). I need to say one more word of introduction—this notion is yet another expression of the energy-centric worldview that has descended upon our nation like the dust of death…Energy is ultimate reality (instead of a Creator distinct from His creation). Without this distorted presuppositional foundation, residualism would have no hope of being taken seriously.

First, the human soul is indivisible… it cannot be divided in parts. However, residualism implies that very thing, because allegedly part of the soul is left behind as an energy imprint (life-force, consciousness—the bible calls it the soul). What percentage of the soul has been ripped off the whole? How much is needed from the whole if it is to function properly? Sorry, but our souls are indivisible—UNABLE to be divided…that is biblical ontology (nature of being).

Secondly, the soul is invisible because it is immaterial. No surgeon has ever discovered it during an operation. Also, it is not to be equated with the electrical activity in our hearts and brains. I had severe, potentially lethal,  electrical problems with my heart a few years back which required an operation to stop some of the electrical flow…my soul was not damaged (some might argue otherwise). How does an intrinsically invisible entity (the soul) suddenly acquire the ability to become visible—as in an intelligent or non-intelligent human haunt? Does the experience of death suddenly and radically alter a salient aspect of soul-ishness? As an invisible entity while the person was incarnate, how does it suddenly acquire the ability to become visible when dis-incarnate, as an apparition or shadow figure, and so on? Who gives it the ability to? How? It would have to change its own essential nature if we believe in either type of haunts. Occam’s razor dispenses with this convoluted explanation of the phenomena, known as residual.

Thirdly, do you realize how subjective the process is, from one individual to the next, to determine if supernatural activity is intelligent or not? Is there some activity you just assume is residual without even testing it? It (residualism) is hopelessly mired in subjectivism. What questions does one ask, and how many, to determine intelligence? What other means do you use to make what is really an incredibly significant and profound call or decision? The reality is that many investigators already assume it is residual unless proven otherwise. It is alarming to see how much of a snap judgment this usually boils down to. Each investigator has residual criteria…that if they were asked to spell it out, they would most likely be embarrassed. Based on a single EVP which seems non-relevant (to whom?), many investigators will classify at least some of the activity as residual. How much of the activity is residual…some or all…how do you determine what percentage? If some, how much of it is supposedly non-intelligent? What if they were messing with you? Which brings us to the next objection….

Fourth, it is naïve and smacks of demonaphobia. Consider this real scenario…Gettysburg has regular reenactments (Battlefields are said to be notorious for residual activity due to men dying young and violently…leaving energy). If demons are real, and if the Angel of Light principle is operative, why wouldn’t demons play pretend just like the human re-enactors? If demons are anything, they are deceptive…brilliantly and cruelly so. If you believe in residuals, where in your thinking is demonic deception? How do you make allowance for it? Is it not at least as plausible to believe that the demonic are play-acting…just like we do in human re-enactments? Residualism is naïve because it readily discounts the possibility of demons intentionally mis-leading us into thinking they are non-intelligent. If demons exist, that is precisely the kind of activity one would expect of them, is it not? They know we believe in residual haunts, and that the hallmark is non-intelligence. It seems eminently reasonable to me to assume that they intentionally give mis-leading answers to EVP’s (which we sin grievously in doing anyway), in order to cause us to mis-identify them—as non-intelligent. If they are classified as residuals, then they are safe!  UNDERSTAND THIS—demons are pure evil and they are not hip on being dislodged. They have means, motive, and opportunity—Occam’s razor please, because demonic play-acting most simply and comprehensively explains the phenomena.

In my book, I humbly challenge anyone to show me an alleged residual haunt which cannot be un-masked by biblical provocation. So far as I know, nobody has taken me up on my challenge. Many times, what appears to be a non-intelligent residual haunt, suddenly becomes very intelligent (and evil) when challenged in the name of Jesus. Mine is an empirically verifiable hypothesis…earnestly and persistently challenge the phenomena in Jesus name and it WILL spring to life—I’ve seen it happen over and over.

Fifthly, there are the analogies which attempt to explain residualsim—almost all require some trigger being pressed (e.g. recorder). How can an alleged cluster of energy be re-animated or brought out of hibernation, by an anniversary (it is NOTHING ontologically)? What is the equivalent of the FINGER PRESSING THE START BUTTON? Who or what can cause this re-play in space and time? It cannot act upon itself…Most of these points I am only able to state the objection without elucidating it sufficiently.

Lastly, residualism contradicts two of God’s most absolute scientific laws…the second and third laws of thermodynamics. Unlike Newton’s laws of motion, there are no known exceptions…they hold true across the board absolutely—that is how God wove them into the fabric of the cosmos. Simply put, once energy is released from its container, it WILL disperse until equilibrium is reached…unless external force is pressed upon it. If you put a few drops of green food coloring in a clear glass of water, then pretty soon the drops will disperse throughout the entire glass of water. Similarly, when energy is dispersed from the container of the body—as in a traumatic burst of energy associated with violence—it (and this is KEY) must disperse. To state that the traumatic release of energy can result in energy clustering in an environment, is utterly absurd and anti-scientific. The notion of energy being absorbed by its surroundings and kept clustered is ridiculous, because the released energy MUST DISPERSE UNTIL equilibrium has been reached. There is no external force to hold those maverick energy particles together and just lie dormant, until the right trigger is pushed. In an article by a parapsychologist, he admitted that this inviolable law had to be circumvented for ghosts to be trapped. Whether it is intelligent or residual, the absolute laws of thermodynamics are not circumvented, they would have to be CONTRADICTED—which is usually called a miracle. (residual energy is not to be confused with what is called potential energy, which is a horse of a different color!) To believe in residual haunts, you must acknowledge that it is contrary to one of the most absolute laws of God/science. This is but a skeletal outline—each point could be elucidated further.

The cast included [mostly] Penn State graduates with varying specialties and the telephone psychic-medium Chip Coffey. Reverend Andrew Calder appeared as the go-to exorcist in two episodes.

Paranormal State's most controversial case featured Lara, a 26-year-old woman from Quincy, Illinois who is allegedly possessed by a demon called Six. The show airs a 60-minute episode just before Halloween 2008, and the nation watches as Reverend Calder performs an exorcism that fails. The following year, PRS returns with demonologist Lorraine Warren of Amityville horror fame, Chip Coffey, Father Bob Bailey, and ghost hunter/documentary filmmaker Chad Calek.

Kirby Robinson and his team of investigators dig into both "I Am Six" and "The Possession: Return of Six" cases and discover the deceptions, misrepresentations, shoddy investigative work, and an outright impersonation by someone in a key role. By the end of this fast-paced but thorough book, the author proves that the paranormal doesn't mix with the theological.

Robinson and his team travel to Quincy to interview neighbors and tour Lara's now-former home. They verify facts and dispel falsehoods. Both episodes are broken down scene-by-scene to prove it was staged. PRS overlooked medical and psychological conditions in order to capture a dramatic exorcism on film. According to the Catholic Church and their rules of determining demonic possession, no one involved in the "I Am Six" case ever found actual proof. An unedited piece of tape shows PRS isn't dealing with a case of demonic possession but one of media attention.

A key player in the "I Am Six" case reveals a secret that will shock the reader. "Never Mock God: An Unauthorized Investigation into Paranormal State's 'I Am Six' Case" is filled with coherent documentation, humor and insight.

Christians Speaking Their Mind in the Paranormal Community Will Feel the Wrath

It seems the patience and the understanding level for non-Christians in the paranormal field is plummeting. Christians in the paranormal field who dare to speak face the wrath of the nonbelievers. In the past, other bloggers, including me, discussed the faked and staged show, Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal, and the impact it has on the mental health of children. Recently, someone left this "kind" comment:

"People do not believe in psychic kids but do believe in an invisible man in the sky who no one has heard from for thousands of years. yeah, makes perfect sense. Idiots!"

To summarize, it's easy to accept a psychic kid but forget about Christ?!

They couldn't even get their facts right. Let's break it down.

The show produced no proof whatsoever that psychic kids are real. No one outside of the show ever worked with the kids to determine if they had any psychic ability.  I'd like to direct people to a great eBook that addresses a few things about Chip and those kids…

I don't know who C.C. Starbuck is, but they did a fine job in refuting anything to do with the show and raised lots of questions about Mr. Coffey's claims.  

As to no one seeing this man in the sky that goes by the name of Jesus Christ --millions if not billions, see Him every day when they close their eyes and pray. The same number hears from Him during prayers and in times of need.

What people fear is that Our Savior is real and you never have to pay for His help. Psychics and new age teachers do nothing without pay. They fear that He can cast out demons. Most fake demonologists and demon hunters seek fame and money and look for cases to fill the pages of their next Publish America book.

They fear He has a message that's filled with the Good Word, not the hollow words that fake psychics and false new age teachers have to offer.

They fear that Christ can reach into a spirit word and bring the dead to life as they have yet to understand what the word DEATH really means.

Last week one of our bloggers, Lisa Grace, wrote a wonderful blog [http://eyeontheparanormal.blogspot.com/2012/10/how-to-tell-fake-medium-from-true-empath.html] stating her view that people who claim to talk to the dead are fakes. As a Christian, she has a legal right to do so [for now]. Those that follow the new age view of the paranormal have the opinion that those who die sit around and wait for someone to go ghost hunting or pay a medium money to talk to a dead loved one. Engaging in a “spirited debate” that both sides might learn from the following comment was made:

"@eyeonparanormal I'm sorry but this article just shows how truly uneducated some people are."

It's always nice to see people who think they are so smart they have a right to call others dumb. Yet they don't bother to think that after all the research and data gathered by the paranormal community, that they have yet to prove the dead stay around and talk to us.

Here is my challenge to these folks who think they are totally right, and we who question the status quo in the paranormal field are wrong. Here is a simple test. If the dead truly know anything, what book do I always keep on my desk? Send me the title in the comment section of this blog. [A response “the bible” will not work, as that’s too obvious]. If you can do that, I will stop blogging about how the dead are not hanging around you and yours.
