The Dalai Lama Attends Mass

By Tsem Rinpoche

On 27th May, His Holiness the Dalai Lama paid a visit to Vienna and while he was there, His Holiness attend Mass and visited the St. Stephen’s Cathedral!

When I saw these photos, I felt a sense of joy as I truly believe in religious harmony. It is so nice to see leaders from major religions coming together and respecting each others’ beliefs. No religion is wrong. No religion is lower than another. All religions advocate peace, compassion and love for one another… As religious persons, the best way to express spirituality is to be compassion, tolerant, forgiving and respectful of others’ religion/culture and race.

Do take a look at the images below taken by the International Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies, Austria. There is a photo of His Holiness, the prince of peace, making prayers at St. Stephen’s Cathedral! It is very heartwarming to come across such a scene…I have always loved this about His Holiness.

I hope that everyone appreciates these photos. It brings tears to my eyes when everyone respects everyone’s religion. That is the way it should be.

Here is the link to all the pictures.

Cabala And The Rejected Doctrine Of Lies!

In turning to the Bible on 1 John 4:1 , this passage states  Beloved believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: Because many False Prophets are gone out into the world....

There are many sophisticated Occult manifestations in the intellectual world. One of these is Cabala....

What is Cabala?

Cabala means, according to the Webster's Dictionary:

A. Cabal, French for intrigue, a plot, a tremendous influence.
B. A small group with secret design or doctrines.
C. Cabala, in Hebrew, an Occult Religion or Philosophy developed by certain Rabbis based on mystical interpretations of scripture.
D. Cabala is the secret artifices of Machinations of people, of close designs and not for popular consumption.
E. The Cabala is hidden knowledge and Experience. Its Doctrines are handed down orally through Generations.
F. From Early Jewish History, Cabala was a traditional framework for laws, legends, and ideas to become associated with the Pentateuch, the books of Moses: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.
G.The word Cabinet, such as a President's Cabinet, evolved from Cabala. It means deep discussion by a few.

The Cabala has three Aspects the Emanation (Sephiroth ) doctrine, The methods for interpreting the scriptures and the Redeemer Doctrine " the Cabalists say all scriptures have hidden meanings. For example: The phrase, " no fire on Sabbath,'' is interpreted: Fire is light, so turn on the light to be warm''. Remember Cabala is strongly based upon the symbolism of Numbers. The Rosicrucian Order rose up out of Cabala, as any inordinate desire for super natural always leads to Occult infiltration. Esoteric searchers for the Unknown information, or secrets of Divinity, and spirituality ,can terminate in the occult. The Metaphysical concepts of Human destiny can lead into the Occult. All deep Mental conceptions must be God- directed or Satan will step in, intrude and misguide.

The Emanation Sephiroth Doctrine according to their beliefs that Cabalist conceived that God's attributes were actually emanations from him. These Emanations  were beings per say. They were produced by a voluntary retraction, or self limitation of God. This retraction was considered a birth pain of creation. To the Cabalists, God was the infinite, the boundless, the Limitless, the En or Ain Soph.  The lower particular emanation, the more removed it was from God's sublimity and transcendence, the less perfect it was.The Ten Emanations were repeated on four levels so that there were forty regressions from God to our world. A variant scheme limits the number of worlds to three; the worlds of Angels, Celestial bodies, and Elements according to the presentation of this subject given by Menahem Recanati.

So what exactly is the spiritual value of Cabala? How many Jews, Christians and Esoteric searchers for  the truths have wandered in Cabalistic Labyrinths? Can such wanderings be justified? If not, can historical understandings at least clarify the motivations involved? The Truth - Value the Emanation (Sephiroth) Doctrine. This Cabalistic Doctrine must be Rejected on two counts. First , its truth is not sufficiently attested by spiritual revelation, the only means by which such metaphysical concept could in principle be verified. The Bible does not mention the Sephrioth anywhere within it. More important, the terror of some passages of Scripture seems definitely to contradict such a notion...

A. 1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man of Christ Jesus.
B. Colossians 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshiping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind .. V.19 and not holding the head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together , increaseth with the increase of God.

C. ll Peter 1:20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
this means the Greek word for ''Private'' and it can also be translated "Secret".

Spiritual Beings

By Paul Joao

If you have understanding, hear this; listen to what I say - Job 34:16

Over the years people within the Paranormal and Religion highly debate that demons and spirits are different energy beings as such a spirit is a person that once lived on earth and its trapped in a paradox level just like ours in the living. However, demons are a different topic most of the religion would say that it is a negative energy, which prays on people’s fear. Just like the verse above mentions in Job, is a great verse to being a paper, such as looking back during my years of understanding this topic, that people may be misinformed when people have not seen Spiritual beings in the first place. In my option alone, are Demons and Spirits are the same? If so, what are they in terms of how people view the material within the paranormal and the religion?

In this paper, the topic will be view into several parts as at attempts to be better understand in a general study. One of the first things that people should know is in the paranormal and religion has made great attempts to capture spiritual beings. As such, people have often recorded spirit like forms in many times though evp, photo and video. These basic three media deceives had more luck with spirits than demons. Often people  have understand the content and regard demons as a myth and many people in the paranormal mostly scientific  communities often referred spiritual beings as a energy forms that comes and goes with our world. They often disregard what people in the religious communities’ belief, at times cause a debate, and at time booth communities come together once their options were respect.  Which will bring this to the deeper understanding interims of spiritual beings?

One aspect that a person should understand is what spirits are; logistic answer is dead people who live on another plane of exists. The problem is people that believe in an afterlife and what to know more. In the Bible from the Christian background, a person who has chosen a life with Jesus would live in heaven, and the unsaved would stay in hell. That is mostly likely the answer however, in a religion point of view due to a term that is call exclusive theology. There is nothing wrong with it, and it is an open and closed subject for any matter. Therefore, why people transfixed on the subject is, is it because of conduct in national television with shows like Paranormal investigators who sometimes claim a spiritual being in the clients or a historic building. That sparks people interest to making a group that what to claim a presence as well.  Even in terms of documentations of these spiritual beings is sometimes making these Spiritual beings realist and sometimes movies that show a spiritual being that look like a person that lived, and makes people think it can be a realist thing. What is it then, in short if a child that appeared to a person what does the living person do. As something simple as these, people would categories many points of view such as, it is a demon, someone imagine, it is a deceased person, and more. It is a great topic to study from a research point, because watching how people say what the spiritual being is. For many people who have research the spiritual being tends not believing, in demons, not to say that they will not respect it.

The second aspect is demons, from a Christian point of view is a fallen angel placed on earth to do Satan work on deceiving the world.  Than it would make a strong case but from viewing many others such as the scientific belief that  it’s just to scare people and at times many people would agree that it would be proper to call it, “negative spirit being” the idea is that it does not sound like a religious term. Due to the religious, view those demons people in the communities often do not realize that they are talking about the same content.  In fact, most people think they can speak to the demons in the first place, which people have learned from time to time that demons do not respond to them as they thought it would be.  This causes people to respect the seriousness of how to deal with authority, which leads to people who have the knowledge and wisdom and a gift of discernment, mostly have a strong Biblical understanding. Who are these people?, Pastors or a Biblical speaking person that deals with the preternatural background such as the occults or a working knowledge what to look for with a creditably approved by those who been in the field . When a case when a demon is claimed to be at the home a person that is mentioned above is called and comes to the person’s home and help them, to double check to make sure that it’s a demon that is there or not. It would be that person authority to decide at times if there is a demon or a spiritual being what to do with it.

Of course, the natural thing is calling on Jesus to help them as simple as it sounds from a Christian aspect, the thing to look for is closing a vortex that allows beings into enter our world, however in the other religions like New age / occult would perform a ritual to remove the being from the property. Even when the scifientic person would disregard as it nonsense and it is in the person mind, for a medical doctor to evacuate the person.   As people debate on what to do with these spiritual beings on what are a demon and a spirit? One thing is clear, as people options becomes more highly debated the final word is found in the bible in the first book Timothy chapter four beginning  in verse one, though sixteen as it should a rule that people should take with them when discussing topics of this nature.  Therefore, if we asked what are spirits and demons and if they are in the same category from a Christian Background, a person would remember this verse. As it says, “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world” 1 John 4:1.

Satan in a Box

We have all heard the phrase, “Don’t put God in a box,” meaning He is much bigger and mysterious than we often conceive of Him.  Putting God in a box of pre-conceived notions that we believe God Almighty can do (or not do) can be the source of much heart-ache, confusion, and so on.

In this shorter than normal blog, I want to make a similar appeal when it comes to our Adversary, Satan.  Our backgrounds, or the current teaching we are exposed to, will determine certain the boxes we are tempted to put Satan in…and these boxes can cause great confusion and pain.

One way we put Satan in a box is by having a list of criteria that must be met if paranormal activity can be viewed as potentially demonic.  Since Satan (and his demonic followers) can appear as an angel of light - which is the exact opposite of what he is - then appearing, smelling, or sounding like anything else would be a piece of cake.  Since that is the case, what criteria list can we possibly assemble?  WE CAN’T!  Take the angel of light scenario, what typical criteria would be present: hot spots?  Horrid smells?  Sense of evil?  Some deformity (who started this nonsense?!)?  NO - none of those would be present!  Please don’t put Satan in a box by having a criteria list.  Besides, if the activity is real, then it is angelic in origin - either good or fallen.

Believing in earthbound spirits puts Satan in a box.  If consulting criteria for determining a demonic entity is both irrational and unbiblical, then the paranormal community is left in hopeless confusion in differentiating between a deceptive demon and an alleged human spirit.  If the Bible says the phenomena will be exceptionally deceptive (and certainly that is the inference) we must be very wary of putting Satan in a box.

We are putting Satan in a box when we assume that what has worked for us as demonologists in the past, will always work.  What do I mean?  I have completed dozens of successful cleansings/blessings and almost all worked the first time.  Recently, that hasn’t been the case.  One recent instance took three attempts before it was totally clean.  However, I have been deeply broken by a dark force that God has called me to attack in His name because it has caused me much self-doubt, grief, frustration, and so on...more precisely, I allowed it to because I had put Satan in a box.

Due to client confidentiality, I don’t want to even mention what happened…but suffice it to say, I had NEVER seen or heard of such force in a case before.  This was no “ordinary” case.  I have no safe category to put it in.  Something arrived…something extraordinarily strong.  I am of the opinion that these many-layered onion-cases are more common than I had previously assumed.  So, I seek God even more and know that He is good…all the time..

PRESUMPTION OF GUILT AND INNOCENCE

Biblically, when dealing with other believers, we are to be trusting...not gullible, but trusting.  If someone shows themselves to be untrustworthy, then it is neither reasonable nor biblical to trust them.  And biblically we should NEVER trust Satan or the demonic, simply because they have a track record of untrustworthiness and downright deception.  Satan is the “father of lies.”  It is his mother tongue.  Why, then, do we seem to have these two principles reversed?  Let me try to explain.

I have always been bothered by the assumption that 90% or so of alleged paranormal activity is explainable by other means.  That is an enormous amount of lying and basic ineptitude attributed to fellow followers of Christ.  Of course, I realize a lot of non-Christians seek assistance for paranormal activity as well, but fundamental decency and law of charity is due everyone (Rom. 13).  Why do we assume they are wrong…unless proven otherwise?

My theology is reformed, which in this context means that I believe, even the godliest person, is in a battle royal with indwelling sin. (Rom 7...Paul as mature believer)  First, presumption of guilt WILL affect our approach to the phenomena.  Second, do we not think that demons can clam up and “vibe-up” - make the current heaviness vanish and feel nice and peaceful, when the investigators arrive?  Since, they watched us set up the equipment; it is my belief that whatever evidence we do catch, is by their design.  Once in while, a demon will make a mistake - they do make mistakes - but they, not we, are in control of evidence collection.  I have known of situations in which there was indisputably much demonic activity, but they maintained total radio silence when the investigators arrived.  The conclusion?  By way of scientific “verification,” the heart-broken, demonic-oppressed client is told there is no activity in their house.  But, a judicious investigator would word it differently, and give it another shot, or they might even believe the person.

I like the television show Fact or Faked, but they commit one fallacy repeatedly; just because an anomaly can be duplicated, does not mean they have discovered the real cause.  I shake my head sometimes at the elaborate (and expensive) experiments they will do, in order to see if they can replicate it.  Almost anything can be replicated with enough technology.  There’s a pretty good chance demons use that to their advantage.

I may get metaphorically stoned for this, but I don’t do investigations. Unless there is reason to believe otherwise, I actually believe the client. I know that my most earnest efforts will yield nada, if infesting demons are determined to stay, and won’t go down the ghost road.  But in the end I choose to presume there is activity, if there was demonic activity or not, no harm was done by believing the client and cleansing the area.

Issue 75 – The Getcha, Gotcha, Good of the Fake Para-Unity Movement

By Kirby Robinson

The above video will be added to every Wednesday blog from now on, because it's a message and a warning that we all can learn from. If we don't, then the paranormal realm will end up being a bigger circus of frauds, fakes, deceivers and soul stealers than it already is.

If you listen and watch the video, 90% of the false teachers it exposes and warns about were around back in the 1970s and 80s. That was when they started to teach their doctrine of little gods, and success being the only way of entering heaven. They taught that you give and expect to receive. And the counterfeit Jesus doctrines that have filled the church today that the Mormon cult [yes it's a cult, just older and more established] is now accepted as mainstream Christianity.

Why did this happen? Because so few spoke up back then and tried to stop it. Those that did were attacked and torn apart and called a fringe element. They were accused of trying to cause division within the church and the brotherhood of Christ. They were cut out of almost all the televangelism networks.

The same thing is happening today with in the paranormal field. If you point out bad teachings [or outright false teachings], if you expose the fakes, if you warn people that the paranormal entertainment industry is destroying the field, then you're labeled as bad news. You have the Bible thrown in your face "Judge not!" [While they judge you]. They try to stop your voice from being heard. Paranormal radio networks won't allow the shows on their networks to feature you. If a show does put you on, they receive hate mail. Then there are warnings of a guest boycott in the future. If you go public about going to a convention, emails are sent warning that you'll be arrested or you're not welcome! What are they hiding? What is it they don't want you to know?

Last week someone asked what are you going to be talking about on Sacred Division this week? Without thinking, I said I wasn't going to be on anymore, that as we spoke someone was working to have me removed from the show.

Unlike fake psychics, who charge exorbitant fees for personal readings or sucker you into some horse and pony show minus the horse and pony, they're full of crap. Unlike the many fake demonologists who claim to walk and talk with God, the only thing they walk and talk with are lies and deceptions. [Some are even in league with what they claim to cast out]. I do practice the spiritual gifts; I do embrace the Great Commission to preach the good word, to heal the sick, cast out demons and raise the dead [still waiting on that one]. This isn't done by my own powers, for I have none, but only via the grace and powers from GOD that can flow from anyone as long as they believe.

Last Friday night that vision came true and it was interesting when it did, as I was in the middle of an attack from demonic forces relating to a case I'm working on. [Unlike many of the fakers who only get as close to a real case as that paranormal fiction book will get them]. Someone found the time to dig through every single one of the 250+ blogs posted on EYE ON THE PARANORMAL and found something by a former guest blogger [special contributor] that cast Bishop Long in a negative light. [I still feel he's the real deal and have respect for him and his group and have no issues with him or them]. But they knew what his reaction would be.

So I'm a victim of the Getcha, Gotcha Good of the Fake Para-Unity Movement. But they can't win. They can laugh and sound witty in the emails they fire around to each other. [Don't think we don't see them and that we don't know who you are]. They can laugh about the fact that I'm no longer on the radio--ha ha.

THE EYE ON THE PARANORMAL is bigger and better and we're about to become even bolder. Our readership is up, our support is at its highest, [private emails are sent as many fear and know about those para-unity idiots attacking them if they speak up for us]. We publish 7 days a week now and are about to add even more bloggers—and more videos.

The more hate that's sent our way only tells us one thing: we're doing our job. We have no irons in the paranormal fire. We belong to no group, nor do we seek membership to some organization with matching t-shirts/outfits. We're the last voice in the paranormal that reports the truth. We don't give lip service to what those paranormal fakers who support that para-unity movement want you to know, think, and most of all--what to spend your money on. And when they get your allegiance, you money, what else will the para-unity movement want from you? Your soul.

I know Christ wouldn't remain silent, and am pretty sure Paul would have stood up to the paranormal thugs. And so will I.

Answering Karla's Comment

Karla said...
Is Eye on the Paranormal a blog about religion, faith and spirituality? Or a blog that lashes out at others whose beliefs and practices are different. That's what the Westboro Baptist Church does and it's disgusting, sick, ugly and evil. It's wrong and the greatest sin of all. Kirby, you are better than that.

Karla,

THE EYE ON THE PARANORMAL is a blog about the truth and sometimes the truth hurts. It often gets people worked up and often what one thinks is the truth is actually the forces of darkness masquerading as the truth.

We publish 7 days a week, and our bloggers come from different spiritual paths. They are allowed to write about any paranormal or religious topic they choose. We have Buddhists, Christians, atheists [and in the next few weeks, we'll be adding more paranormal writers as special contributors].

It's not lashing out or attacking when one encounters errors of others who are teaching or preaching a position that if others follow, may lead them off the path or lead them into a bad situation or cause them to believe in things which aren't the truth.

It's interesting to note that you seek to make a tie between me and the Westboro Baptist church, which is a lightning rod for most to automatically generate anger/hate towards anyone associated with such a hate group.

Your last sentence concerning the greatest sin is even in error. The greatest sin is that sin known as blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

His Holiness Meets the Austrian Chancellor, Attends a Science Symposium & the European Rally for Tibet

Vienna, Austria, 26 May 2012 - The sun shone and a small crowd of well-wishers smiled warmly as His Holiness arrived opposite St Stephen's Cathedral to be met by Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, the Archbishop of Vienna. They were almost immediately joined by the Austrian Chancellor, Werner Faymann and the three went into a meeting together.

Standing at a balcony window nearby, Cardinal Schönborn took the opportunity to explain some of the restoration work that has been taking place at St Stephen's, the most important religious building in Vienna, before the bells rang out calling him back to the cathedral. His Holiness and the Chancellor continued to discuss matters of mutual concern.

Next, His Holiness drove to the University of Vienna to attend a symposium on Buddhism and Science: Mind & Matter – New Models of Reality, where he was welcomed by the Rector of the University, Heinz Engl.

Describing it as a great honour for him to participate in the discussions, His Holiness noted that towards the end of the last century, scientists had begun to take a serious interest in the workings of our minds and emotions. He said he had been fascinated by how things work since he was a child and learned a great deal about how electricity functions from investigating the movie projector and generator that had belonged to the 13th Dalai Lama. About 40 years ago he began to learn about cosmology, neuropsychology and quantum physics and for nearly 30 years has been conducting regular dialogues with scientists. The purpose of these dialogues is, firstly, to extend human knowledge, not only in the material field, but also the inner space of our minds, and, secondly, through exploring such phenomena as a calm mind, to promote human happiness.

With Mr Gert Scobel moderating, Prof Dr Anton Zeilinger, Prof Dr Klaus-Dieter Mathes, Dr Patrizia Giampieri-Deutsch made their presentations, which explored aspects of quantum physics, Madhyamaka philosophy and psychoanalysis. His Holiness hosted a lunch at his hotel for all the speakers that was also attended by Kalon Tripa, Dr Lobsang Sangay, social and human rights activist Bianca Jagger, former French Foreign Minister and co-founder of Médecins Sans Frontières, Bernard Kouchner and other friends who were in Vienna to attend the European Rally for Tibet. In the afternoon session of the Science symposium, Prof Dr Michael von Brück and Prof Dr Wolf Singer gave informative presentations on how the mind understands the structure of reality and the search for neuronal correlates of consciousness.

As the symposium came to an end, His Holiness expressed his appreciation, “Over the 30 or 40 years that I have been acquainted with scientists, I have noticed how many of them are acutely aware of the limitations of their knowledge. It is a good quality to recognise that our scope for learning is vast. They display an open-mindedness that is really admirable.”

A memorandum of co-operation was signed between Prof Geshe Ngawang Samten, Director and Vice Chancellor of the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies in Sarnath, Varanasi, India and the Rector of Vienna University, Heinz Engl, providing for an exchange of students and scholars of the two institutions. Geshe Tenzin Dhargye, Director of the Tibet Center that has organized the various functions His Holiness has attended in Austria on this visit, offered his thanks to His Holiness and everyone who has participated.

In the warm, late afternoon, His Holiness drove to Vienna's Heldenplatz where 10,000 people had assembled for the European Solidarity Rally for Tibet. Addressing his dear brothers and sisters in the crowd, he told them how happy he was to be there and that he would like to first say a few words in Tibetan to the Tibetans present.

“Our culture is under threat of destruction, therefore I want to take this opportunity to speak my own language. Archaeological findings indicate that Tibetan history dates back 3-4000 years. We Tibetans must not forget our identity, for our blood, flesh and bones come from Tibet. Since the 7th century we have employed the Tibetan written language in which the most complete and thorough translations have been made of Buddhist knowledge from the original Sanskrit. This is a treasure for the world, not only for Tibetans. And when we talk about preserving Tibetan Buddhist culture, I don't mean just paying respects before a Buddhist image, but putting the teachings into practice and trying to live as good human beings.”

He talked about the urgent need to protect the Tibetan environment, which because it is the source of many of the rivers that run through Asia is of value not only to Tibetans but millions of others too. He expressed the fear that once environmental damage has taken place it will take a great deal of time to recover. Distinguishing Buddhist religion, which is the business of Buddhist practitioners, from Buddhist culture, which, as a culture of peace, honesty and compassion,is worth preserving for the good of the world. Meanwhile, millions of Chinese are already showing interest in Tibetan Buddhist culture. His Holiness stressed that the damage and destruction of Tibetan Buddhist culture that has taken place was not because Tibetans were not interested, but because of the difficult political circumstances in which they find themselves.

“Because of our Buddhist culture we are committed to the principle of non-violence. We are an example of a small community who have remained dedicated to pursuing our struggle through non-violent means, which is why your support is so extremely valuable and I want to tell you how much I appreciate it.

“Finally, I see how many of you are waving the Tibetan flag. Chinese hard-liners often refer to our flag as a symbol of splittist tendencies, but I want to tell you that when I was in China 1954-55, I met Chairman Mao Zedong and other leaders on several occasions. Once, Chairman Mao asked me, 'Do you have a flag?' I hesitantly answered, 'Yes,' and his reply was to say, 'Good, it is important that you keep this flag and fly it next to the red flag of China. So I feel I received permission then to fly this flag from Chairman Mao himself.”
