Issue 47 – The Dead Files/Psychic Kids & Child Protection Laws/Chip Coffey Silent on Hate Speech

It's been another wild week in the paranormal as we work to uncover misconduct on the part of various para-celebs. The EYE ON THE PARANORMAL just keeps growing! On Monday we set a record for the number of hits we ever received for that day.

EYE ON THE PARANORMAL IS EXPANDING!

We are having guest bloggers who will post different takes on the issues facing the paranormal community. Currently we have blogs on Monday and Wednesday. We plan to have new blogs 7 days a week. If you would like to post a paranormal blog, we'll add you to the list. Contact me at freeallspirits@live.com and we will get you set up.

On Saturday, October 15th, Martha Hazzard Decker will begin posting. Every Friday, starting on October 14th, we'll be getting blogs from an insider who will post anonymously to protect their privacy.

Bishop Long on Sunday Nights

Join Bishop Long on Sundays from 8 to 10 pm on  http://www.usocc.org/USOCC/USOCC_Radio.html for his show Sacred Division. My segment is called SAY WHAT? I talk about things within the paranormal community that has caught my eye and raised my dander.

The Good, The Bad & the What the %$&! of "THE DEAD FILES"

If you'd been surfing cable on Fridays you might have stumbled onto a new para-reality show called The Dead Files. Personally, I received a Facebook event invite from one of the shows stars to tune in. I found this odd as my track record is well known for uncovering deceptive acts on such shows as: Paranormal State and its New Class along with the Demon Exorcist, Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal, and Celebrity Ghost Hunt, to name as few. Also, there have been some that we had no issues with such as: Paranormal Challenge, A Haunting and Haunted Collector. So we decided to tune in and see if it could pass muster. In some ways it did, but in others it fell way short of a legit show.

This show could be called Paranormal State on Steroids as it copies the visual style of the show and the format of the investigations to a tee.

A psychic by the name of Amy Allan does a walkthrough that greatly reminds you of Chip Coffey's walkthroughs. One wonders if he'll be asking for his act back? An unnamed video guy follows her every step, filming her as she picks things up. Across country, and at a [presumably] different time, a former NYPD detective by the name of Steve Di Schiavi does a fact gathering investigation on his own. They both meet to share what they uncovered. See if it matches. Then they meet with the client. They all compare details and offer the client help. Does this replicate any episode of Paranormal State?

I wish I could give it a glowing review as the two hosts seem to be very nice people, but unfortunately I can't. So here is the good, the bad, and the What the %$&!

GOOD - The work of the detective seems to be a very good way to handle a historical investigation of a case. Detective Di Schiavi has a very logical way of working and asks great questions.

GOOD - Amy Allan seems to be a nice person: the type of person you would like to sit down and have a chat with.

BAD - After watching the first two episodes, we see that Amy is never wrong about anything. She picks up everything and is100% on the mark 100% of the time. Just like with the psychics on Paranormal State, nobody in real life is that good all the time.

BAD - In the second episode they claim to encounter a demon, so they are very much in my territory. Unfortunately, everything pretty much falls apart from this point.

Amy claims that she rarely encounters them, which is good, because they aren't that common. But then she makes a very odd statement: "I am not sure there is a hell." Well where else would a demon come from -- the pages of a Stephen King book? She complicates the whole thing by claiming "the Catholic church would call it demon." Demons aren't the sole property of the Catholic Church but pretty much the entire Christian faith deals and directly addresses the demon topic. [This is proof of what I try to teach. If and when a psychic encounters a demon, they should excuse themselves and have a demonologist called in].

WHAT THE %$&!- But where the show falls apart, and I don't want to give the story away, is when they directly address the client concerning the demon.

1 They completely fail or refuse to realize that the demon was the cause of the crime and never offer the man sitting in prison any help.
2 They tell the client they can help the person deal with the demon. How, you ask? Do they have the building blessed by a man/woman of God? Do they call in a demonologist to confront the demon? No. All they do is walk around the building using sage and some kind of New Age speak that a demon would laugh at!

Watch for Part 2 of The Good, the Bad and the What the %$&! next Wednesday.

Chip Coffey & Chris Fleming Remain Silent

Just what are they hoping to hide from the public? We have been asked that repeatedly due to the fact that we have yet to hear anything from either of them. What don't they want the public to know about? In the weeks to come we will be exposing just what they are trying to hide!

Did Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal Break State Laws & Endanger Children?

Over the next several weeks we will be list three episodes of the show, the state in which it was filmed, and the first names of the children featured in the show. We'll also provide a link to that state's department of Children and Family services website so the concerned public can ask them to begin a investigation into the matter. This is due to the fact that mental health advice was given to children by a unlicensed people such as Chip Coffey, Chris Fleming, and Michael Griffin.

1. Ashley, 13, from Wisconsin Dells, and Dalton, 15, from Danville Illinois were taken to a location in the state of Wisconsin in which Chip Coffey gave them and their family mental health advice. Mr. Coffey has no licensing nor is he certified to do so. Here is the link for the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families to report this child endangerment.

People who endanger the safety of children or practice mental health without proper licensing need to face the law.

NEXT WEEK:

I talk to Chip Coffey's Lawyer!

More GOOD/BAD and what the ^%&$ of The Dead Files!

Even more paranormal madness!

Ghost Box

By Ryan Harshbarger

"Nobody knows whether our personalities pass on to another existence or sphere, but if we can evolve an instrument so delicate to be manipulated by our personality as it survives in the next life such an instrument ought to record something..." Thomas Edison 1928

Ghost Box
Frank’s Box, Spirit Box, Ghost Box, Shack Hack or whatever you wish to call it was originally created by Frank Sumption back in 2002 and has become an addition to almost every paranormal team’s arsenal. When I first heard about this I was pretty much dumbfounded to say the least, “How does this thing work?” The concept is actually pretty simple; manipulate AM/FM handheld radios so that they continuously scan the linear bandwidth.  Seems pretty basic but my skepticism immediately kicked in the first time I was exposed to one back in 2004. I was hanging out with some friends and the topic of communicating with spirits got brought up. I have heard and analyzed thousands of EVP’S so that was nothing new to me at all. Then my friend said “Have you ever heard of the Frank’s Box?” I said I had but I’ve never participated in a session. So we plugged in this what looked like a boom box from the 80’s and the show started.

We all started asking questions, there were probably about roughly 500 asked to this boom box that was just going crazy. “Back and forth through radio stations for well over two hours I was subjected to this.” Out of the 500 questions asked there were maybe 3 actual responses that held any shred of validation, but was this coincidence or was our subconscious just making connections to satisfy our need for contact?

I didn’t really pay too much attention to this device after that because honestly to me the concept made no sense, nor could I comprehend how scanning the AM/FM bandwidth continuously and catching random words from radio stations could be any scientific tool properly utilized during a thorough investigation. Then, I attended a convention where one of the guests was Christopher Moon and from what I was told he was the “Frank’s Box Expert” and he had the gift to properly use this device to make complete and accurate contact with those who have crossed over.

Several of my friends as well as me paid a whopping $175.00 to have this long haired front man from a heavy metal band slowly walk up to a table with a small device in his hands and then gracefully take a seat, pull his long blond hair back into a pony tail and lean in towards the microphone and say “Good evening.” “Just to let you all know that the spirits may or may not choose to communicate, it all depends on their moods.”  Everyone in the crowd began to burst into laughter (except for me) he then proceeded to turn some knobs on his modified Frank’s Box and a loud jolt of white noise took over the room. He then started asking for people in the audience to ask questions and the line began to form. “This whole thing reminded me of a John Edwards Crossing Over episode.”

The microphone that was supposed to amplify the “spirits voices” wasn’t really that great and was muffled so it was really hard to actually hear what was being said by the box because Mr. Moon would also speak into the microphone and repeat the supposed answers. So was the person that was asking the question getting an actual spiritual response? Or was Mr. Moon subconsciously manipulating these people and feeding on their emotions? My personal opinion on Mr. Moon, considering the fact that he charges for his services just like so many others who have tarnished this field,” is a charlatan and a con-man.” Anyone who makes monetary gain for assisting people that are honestly dealing with the death of a loved one and really do want to communicate with their loved ones and are obviously vulnerable when they seek assistance from these buffoons absolutely sickens me to the core.

“Enough on this guy and back to the topic.” recently I was given a case from Kirby Robinson in my home state of Florida, this case was a supposed demonic case and the client had dealt with numerous paranormal teams that only had made matters worse. I happily accepted the case and immediately contacted the client and let her know that we would come and assist in any way that we could. I talked to Kirby many times prior to us arriving at the client's home and told him that I was going to be bringing a “Ghost Box”, I finally broke down and bought one because I was either going to “debunk it or endorse it”, either way  once and for all I wanted to put this thing to the test. Kirby was also skeptical on the “Ghost Box” which was perfect because that way we both could test our theories together and draw the proper conclusions on it once and for all. I think that I have drawn my own conclusion/theory, I can’t speak for Kirby but he was there and the responses were addressed directly towards him. So let’s break this down: “within the first 15 minutes of plugging in the Spirit Box, we were getting direct responses.”

I was pretty sketchy at first about the responses because they were vague and again the question remained, "are we really making contact, or is the subconscious making us believe that the scrambled AM/FM signals that we are hearing are voices of the crossed over?"

The second couple of questions that were asked we got exact, to the point, direct responses. “My jaw almost dropped!” Like I said, I have not always been a big supporter of the “Ghost Box”, the voices that were coming through were cussing us out individually by name. The scariest part was the “Ghost Box” also was saying each person that was in the room by their name. “As the prayers began, things really got amped up. As Kirby was praying the voices coming through began to call him a number of choice words and these dark forces defiantly expressed their hatred towards anything that was Holy. “I was at a loss for words to say the least.”

Since this case I have used the “Ghost Box” four more times and two out of the four times I have gotten direct answers to the questions. Which makes me wonder? “Can only certain spirits come through on this device?” I know that many teams utilize the “Ghost Box” routinely and have had great success with it; however there are some teams that have become completely dependent on the Ghost Box, which leads us to another question “ is the Ghost Box the new age Ouija Board?” Could there be possible repercussions from using this device as there are with the use of Ouija Boards? Since they are both considered methods of communication with spirits could the Ghost Box become a portal for malevolent entities and even demonic forces to enter into our realm?

One suggestion that I have for all paranormal teams that use the “Ghost Box” or any other device used to directly communicate with spirits is to 1. “Educate yourself about how dark forces will try and trick you.” 2. Always say a protective prayer when using any device of communication before and after the session. I personally always say the “Saint Michael Prayer” and last but not least always remember:

“The greatest trick the devil ever did was convincing the world that he doesn’t exist.”

As technology evolves over the next few years I’m sure that there will be even more advanced methods of communication created and with the rise of interest in the field of paranormal research more and more teams will find themselves in situations and face to face with forces that they do not understand and have no business involving themselves in. I being a paranormal investigator and a man of GOD always use my beliefs as a method of protection and whenever there is a “Ghost Box” involved in any investigation that I am a part of, “I make sure to say prayers of protection for myself and my team.”

Issue 46 – Psychic Kids Mayhem Rules, How Honest is Chip Coffey? Can Chris Fleming Answer Tough Questions?

The Eye on the Paranormal, along with many others, brought to the attention to A&E legal department to possible presence of predators posting on their Facebook page. We're not only talking about sexual predators, that would be bad enough, but we're also talking about predators of a spiritual nature that passed themselves off as light workers. If you dug into their background you would find they practice the dark arts. Also, there were those profit predators, people who sought only the color green from those posting for help.

In addition, A&E was informed about a self-appointed monitor, Sandra Lynn Sparks. [Either she took this action on her own or by the request of para-celebs who made money off the page. We're trying to confirm which story is true]. She kept busy posting links on a daily basis to direct visitors to various sites to watch the show. She encouraged them to visit her own sites' message boards claiming they were safe places for parents and kids. But the purpose was to make Sandra lots of money, and get them to Chip Coffey's page to sign up for a phone reading and go to Chris Fleming's magazine site. All this was being done without A&E's approval or knowledge. Once they learned this and the fact that they about to be named in a lawsuit, they cleared the page of posts back to early 2010. No one can post such things any longer and that was what hoped to be the end of the story. But fake para-celebs and their back scratchers don't play fair nor do they know just when to shut up and go away.

Bishop Long Moved to His Church's Network

Join Bishop Long on Sundays from 8 to 10 pm on  http://www.usocc.org/USOCC/USOCC_Radio.html for his show Sacred Division. My segment is called SAY WHAT?  I talk about things within the paranormal community that has caught my eye and raised my dander.

Sandra Lynn Sparks Casting Spells

Since she no longer has the Psychic Kids page to monitor Sandra now has lots of free time on her hands. We've learned that she hasn't been spending it too wisely as she's been casting spells on people! Yes, she has decided that she must punish those who shut down the page and she has been very busy with her spell casting! [We hope someone tells her that GOD is the ruler over all things]. Her first attempts at spell casting backfired. We just hope this time the results aren't even worse for her.

Due to her increased free time she has kept those sockpuppet Facebook accounts. It seems that she posts under at least 4 names on the Psychic Kids page. After all, she claims to be a playwright so handling different writing styles shouldn't be hard.

We learned that she had to rewrite the hate speech-filled blog she posted about me. Open Salon forced her to remove it after they received a letter from our legal team. Of course she can't admit this as more lies are spread in her new blog.

"This is about a liar.
He not only deserves no name, He deserves no mention. If you have followed a link he or one of his friends gave you. you will not find him. You've been deceived.
People spend too much time believing too much written on the Internet.
Go find something decent to do."

Still full of lies but at least the hate speech is gone.

Is Chip Coffey a Man of His Word?

We sent the following e mail to Mr. Coffey

Are you a man of your word Mr. Coffey?

You have gone to great effort to publicly state that you are against any type of bullying. You have also been out spoken about your condemnation of hate speech, yet you have a person working for you [either paid or unpaid], who has taking part in both activates, yet we have heard nothing from you condemning their acts nor distancing yourself from that person.

As you know, Sandra Lynn Sparks is a moderator on your message board and self-appointed monitor on the Facebook page that A&E has for your former show Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal. There are numerous links directing people to both your website and Chris Fleming’s website, directing people to buy services, magazines etc., and links to sites that she herself owns. She gets paid for the level of traffic those sites have. If anyone posted any questions or comments that might bring the show or the para-celebs featured on the show into question, she would both publicly and privately attack that person.

Last week she posted a blog on Open Salon directed at myself, a blog full of hate speech and bullying words. You claim to be against such actions, yet we nor the public have yet to hear or read of your condemnation of her acts. Nor have you removed her from the position of managing your board.

So we at the Eye on the Paranormal have to wonder if you  are a man of your word? Or is your stance just PR for your career and forthcoming book? If so, the world needs to know this. But if you are a man of your word and speak out and take action, the world needs to know this as well.

After she was forced to change the blog we sent him the text of the original blog posting. We'll keep track of the days and weeks that pass concerning his response … or lack of one.

Chris Fleming on the Hot Seat

It seems that Mr. Fleming has been busy posting on the net that he is a "man of the truth" well we will find out if this is correct or not we have a list of questions for him he can respond and we will repost them unedited.

We know Chris checks this blog regularly so we'll be waiting!

1 Firstly the claim you made in reference to the screening process of children featured on “Psychic Kids”. While I realize Facebook comments, cannot always be construed as an official statement, you have however contended that you can prove that the one of kids picked up on details related to the location where a missing child was last seen and only the police had this information. You further stated that other kids on the show have demonstrably exhibited an ability to psychically acquire details describing locations prior to visiting them without any foreknowledge of the site or it’s history. Tell us how you feel that you can satisfactorily “prove this”?

2 Is it true that kids on the show where brought to murder sites to pick up impressions?

3 Tell us about the medical and psychological screening...were second or even third opinions by independent medical professionals ever sought before, after or during the filming of the episodes?

4 Are you aware that some of the symptoms of schizophrenia closely mirror claims of seeing and hearing ghosts?

5 What about the growing concern surrounding individuals that seem to spend an inordinate amount of time on fan sites and discussion forum and most notably; the Psychic Kids Facebook fan page spamming and inviting kids to closed Yahoo Groups and private “psychic schools” under the implied auspice of the show, Chip Coffey or even you?

6 What about the accusations that this show exploited emotionally distraught, overly imaginative, attention seeking or even mentally ill children and the associated speculation that children deemed particularly susceptible to malleability by suggestion?

7 Are you receptive to the possibility that the parents of these kids were overzealous when came to their kids getting on the show?

8 Do you feel that the appearance of these children will only further stigmatize them in a society that is still not willing to accept the reality of psychic abilities?

OPTIONAL:

1A: How do you feel about the K2 meter controversy associated with the Ghost Hunters/Manson murder mansion episode?

2A: I have noticed that you have a site that promotes the sale of ghost hunting equipment, how would you respond to the skeptics’ objections that this equipment never yielded any quantitative or qualitative evidence, it is marketed specifically targeting a misinformed or naive demographic.

Next week more Psychic Kids madness and we take a good the bad and what the bleep look at the new show on the Travel Channel "Dead Files" or as I'm calling it Paranormal State on Steroids.

Issue 45 – Psychic Kids Facebook Page Cleared of Predators with Help of Sandra Lynn Sparks

It has been one crazy week within the paranormal world—as usual! The spotlight of truth focuses on the now-defunct Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal a Facebook. The page was overseen by Sandra Sparks [not working in any capacity for A&E or the show's producer] to direct visitors to sites that she owns which puts money in her pocket. Chip Coffey's services are offered via the page as links to his site are often shared as well as other psychic providers all looking for some green from an unsuspecting public.

Now things have changed and with that change there has been harassment, curses, threats and a good belly laugh or two.

All of the above and more will come back and haunt them leading to great changes on the page.

But first some good news…

PSYCHIC KIDS Supporters Use Magic to Stop Negative Views of Show & Facebook Page! [But it Backfires!]

Yes it seems that if they are faced with attacks or questions instead of addressing the issues or admitting fault, they turn to magic! Sandra Sparks posted this:

"I call on the guides and guardians of all you who come here in honesty and decency, looking for a community of like minds who understand the goodness of this page, and the gift that the experiences of Psychic Kids has given us, to disrupt a...nd remove the human demon makers: Kirby, Capri, Izrope, Ron, and the drone demon makers that follow them here. Send energy their way that will disrupt their ...lives as they have tried so hard to disrupt ours. And by those disruptions, one by one, may they learn that a demon maker cannot lie to the conscious spirit, and may that lesson wake them up to the sane world. May our guides and guardians, however we see them through our faith, take on the burden the demon makers are trying to force on us. And may the guides and guardians of the demon makers fall silent and still at their backs, to help them learn this lesson."

But that was not enough even more was used against myself and others

"I call on the guides and guardians of all you who come here in honesty and decency, looking for a community of like minds who understand the goodness of this page, and the gift that the experiences of Psychic Kids has given us, to disrupt and remove the human demon makers: Kirby, Capri, Izrope, Ron, and the drone demon makers that follow them here. Neither of these seemed to have any impact. We've heard that they are reaching out to Harry Potter for some advice.

Sandra Lynn Sparks Claims to Have Proof of Reincarnation

We stumbled across this interesting claim and felt a need to share

We advise staying away from pizza and beer right before bedtime.

A&E Legal Prevents Sandra Lynn Sparks & Others from Using Psychic Kids Page for Personal Gains & Sinister Reasons

If you've been to the Psychic Kids Facebook page you'd have noticed that many had been posting their concerns over the lack of honesty from various regular posters who claimed they had the best interest of children in mind. Yet if you poked a little into their background you might uncover some surprising things. Some offered what amounted to mental health advice had no training or legal right to do so. Others passed themselves off as messengers of love and light yet the master they serve is the opposite. Others had outright sinister reasons for offering their services as they pandered to those under 18.

The above is not meant to indict everyone who posted on the page; not every was there for nefarious purposes. But A&E had left the page unattended and Sandra Lynn Sparks took it on herself to manage the page, giving the appearance that she was in charge. [We've received reports that she had posted under many names.]

Sandra lost it over the weekend as she posted the following blog attacking me and providing even more damaging proof to A&E that her and others on the page was placing them in a tough legal position as it appeared that the network was endorsing their services

Here is her blog in its entirety:

"This is about a liar.
I'm not going to mention his name. I will not quote a thing he has written. He would love it if I did. It's the only way I think he gets a sexual thrill. If you care to be so curious, you can find his name by searching for my name on the Internet and seeing where I have been attacked for being many things I'm not.  If he didn't write the comments, some of his network of dubious friends did. I'm pretty open on the Internet - All his comments, if you read my writing, would seem puzzling. I'm a multi-media artist, musician, and writer, who can't make much money during these hard times. The breaks aren't coming my way. But I keep on working in spite  of that. I don't deserve the libel he and his friends have laid on me.  He wants me to own it, but I won't.
He is, as a friend simply put it, a gossip. A malicious one who wraps his poison with the words "but God loves you!" He keeps claiming I'm getting rich as a psychic advisor, something I've never wanted to be, although I write a good deal about the topics. He and his bully friends have been very busy for a month, harassing Psychic Kids fans on facebook. Facebook has not been a huge help about stopping him. But then, facebook has a long way to go in knowing how to handle predators.
He is a predator. Not a sexual one, though, it is my belief, that someone who is obsessed with certain behavior in others secretly wants to commit  that very behavior. I don't believe he is really capable of sex: His voice is neutral and feminine. It's very soft. He loves to use God's name and spout Bible verses. He wants to rid the world of sexual predators. Anyone who opposes him automatically becomes a sexual predator, or something just as bad.
He is jealous of professional psychics. He used to try to be one, but he wasn't any good at it, so he started advertising himself as an expert demonologist and performing exorcisms. His fifteen minutes of fame came when a television show had him give advice on "exorcising the demons" of an ugly cat statue. He not only resembled the statue himself, when he described the jealous woman he believed created the statue, he seemed to be describing himself.
He has a love/hate obsession about a couple of well known psychics I know. I've worked with their fans - that's how I came to be a part of this. I think he harbors crushes on them. He's the kind of a person who wants to be the object of his affection. This means that he's also kind of a celebrity stalker.
He doesn't like me, because I do have gifts, have the friends he wants, don't believe in demons, and I feel exorcism is a form of abuse. I don't believe in the supernatural (religious superstitions) but I do believe in their effects on people's psychology and environment. I believe in paranormal acitivity, and in psychic ability, because I have seen  those things work. I don't consider them magical, all powerful experiences. I believe they happen sometimes, when needed, or when the conditions are right. But I don't believe they come when ordered. The experiences come out of something we don't understand, and that's okay with me. I'm not interested in supernatural explanations. I'm interested in what people experience, not what they believe has happened.
He has decided I should be exposed for the evil, hate-filled abusive person I "really" am. I seem to be a mirror for him, for people are very vocal about what they think of him. I found a page on the Internet where he was called a scumbag. That's honest criticism. I just think he is seriously mentally ill. He does not seem to know the difference between right and wrong, but he is bound and determined to tell others what those things are.
He is a compulsive liar. He has a savior complex. He bonds with others who have similar compulsions, and is ready and willing to go along with any harassment scheme. He wants to expose the phony psychics for what they "really" are. He goes after the wrong ones. He heads straight for those who are truly gifted - the ones who have what he hasn't got - psychic talent. The only phony psychic he has been able to convince anyone about is himself.
I'm aggravated and I'm tired of this nonsense. I look forward to the day when this man and his friends become exactly what they deserve to be: nothing but the memory of a bad taste in the mouth. Less than that.
I'm going back to my life now. If you run across his poisonous words, don't say hello from me. I've had enough of him."

This hate-filled diatribe comes from a woman who works with psychic kids and works for Chip Coffey as a moderator on his message board. We're waiting to see if Mr. Coffey is a man of his word he claims he dislikes bullies [which she is] and he dislikes hate speech [which she engages in]. So far we've heard nothing.

What others think of me or say about me rolls off my back. Because God turned this into good. On Tuesday morning, A&E stepped in and deleted every single post and link that Sandra and the others had been making. It ends a threat to the personal, spiritual and financial well being of the public—and especially the children.

I want to thank everyone who has helped in this effort mostly I want to thank God. He will not be mocked.

Sandra Lynn Sparks will fade in the darkness where her kind lives and deserves to stay. The Eye on the Paranormal and me are still here.

Issue 44 – The Insane Escape from the Looney Bin & Overtake the Paranormal Community

There are reasons why I do the work I do. I help families that are being terrorized by a haunting, or worse, a demonic presence. I give glory to the word of God, seeing the power of light, love and compassion win over the forces of darkness. Or, like Paul, to fight the good fight of faith. Unlike many people that do the same work, I promise the client that when I leave their haunting comes to an end. Or I stay till it does. That’s not my ego speaking, that’s just me standing in the word of God. But the main reason I do it really is expressed when I get emails or comments from a client. You'll read an example at the end of this blog entry.

I don't do this work or walk the path I do to please others or to find favor with the public. It's not done to gain acceptance within the paranormal community. The other day a well known person in the paranormal community said that I have become the paranormal pariah. No one in the paranormal community wants to have anything to do with me. If that's the case I accept such a label gladly. The work that I do is not paranormal but theological.

I don't care what goes on in the paranormal world just as long as the activity doesn't reach out and harm the innocent. When that happens I'll stand up and expose the fakers, deceivers and predators. I know my God is mighty and with Him I can withstand anything.

Such a case is unfolding at a Facebook page and a website for a show Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal. This show aired for 3 seasons on A&E. Each week three kids and their parents were paraded out for the world to see with claims that they are psychic, the world doesn't understand them and they suffer for their gift. In the span of a weekend, a therapist and a para-celeb step in and give them the tools to handle the gift. In the process they have surprising and shocking psychic experiences on camera.

All the above would be nice if it was real. All the above would be amazing if things worked that way. But it doesn't.

My skepticism over claims of the show/on-air talent has led many to think I doubt the gifts of psychic ability. I don't. What I doubt are the claims made by many that they are psychic [more on that later as both Chris Fleming and Sandra Sparks failed simple tests].

The show is no longer on the air but the para-celebs are still riding the gravy train reminding the world that they saved the kids' lives. Chip Coffey even has a book coming out on the matter. Does Chip plan on sharing the profits with the kids?

One big issue still remains. The A&E website that features message boards where kids who are either psychic or not can place posts for help. There is no monitoring of who responds to such pleas for help like this one presented by Scifake.com.

It gets worse. On Facebook there is a page for the program put up by A&E. The network doesn't monitor the page's activity. It seems one of Chip Coffey's para-backscratchers has become the page's gatekeeper. Her name is Sandra Lynn Sparks. If you Google the name you're sent on a very interesting journey that you'll read about in a future blog.

In her own words she claims she would be homeless if not for doing housework in exchange for a roof over her head. Ms. Sparks claims she has no money, no job, and no prospects for gainful employment. One wonders how she can afford such a wide array of sites that are linked through her. http://sandralynnsparks.com/

She does everything to promote the show and steer visitors to her websites, which in turn makes her money off of the hits. If the show's popularity and credibility is heavily questioned, then the gravy train is derailed. If you question the show's integrity you'll find yourself attacked. Ask questions and find yourself blocked and hounded.

Such has been the case when concerned people asked about the screening process that takes place for adults posting offers to aid to psychic kids. One such posted stated: "must be under 18" to get help.

Others raised questions about the religious and spiritual issues of such claims. The questions are valid due to the Christian stance on the matter. Are the claims of the gifts legit in the first place? Demons can and do mimic psychic gifts in the people they torment.

Sandra claimed in a post when the site passed 20,000 that "we" passed 20,000. That's odd to be coming from just a person who has no authority over the page. Some have stated that she acts in this role as page monitor in a capacity to please Chip Coffey.

But her wrath has gone over the edge. On September 11, 2011, she posted a 1-star review of my new book Paranormal Teachings: The Best of Shedding Some Light. One star reviews don't bug me. You can't please everyone. But make it a legit review. She failed. What Sandra wrote were lies, venom and an attack on my editor, who was only doing a job she was paid to do. [Just like the terrorists who killed thousands of Americans that day 10 years ago never anticipated the blow back that'd follow]. We doubt if Sandra did the same.

"I've been watching Kirby pretend to do research on this topic and gather blog materials for this book for some time, aggravating a lot of people, including me, along the way. He will ask questions that everyone pretty much ignores, because, by now, most people in the paranormal field know about Kirby, don't like him, wouldn't talk to him, and do not care what he thinks. That's it. he wants to be a big name in paranormal circles, and he can't do it. He has become a running joke to many, many people. I have no idea why anyone would want to choose such a position in life, but he has. The information in this book is heavily slanted, and just, sometimes, plain made up. It's not worth the money. It's the ramblings of a demon-obsessed, unrealistic man."

Our lawyer called Amazon, and as of today the review is gone. Very little of the above troubles me. Like Chip Coffey, Sandra failed my little test. It was leaked that this book was going to be about the TV show she dearly loves and defends. In reality it was not [that book will come sooner than later] but this one has a different focus. Sandra's alleged gift failed her as well as her eyesight and her ability to read. In the 263 pages very little references the show. The section that deals with it was originally written in 2008 and was only polished a bit.

The three words that will come back to haunt her are these: "plain made up". This implies that I am a liar, which I am not. My editor, Lisa Maliga, who was hired to do a job, and has nothing to do with the paranormal world, now has her credibility questioned. Her employability as an editor, reporter, etc. has now been damaged.

Sandra fails to point out what was made up, what facts were lied about. The book consists of my views and experiences in the paranormal world that I live in. That she does not mention because it is a lie that she's spreading. Legal action will be taken to correct this.

To show how open we are, here are the following pages from the book that deals with Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal.

We won't hold our breath or stand on one foot waiting for Sandra to point out what was made up as nothing was.

Throughout the fall we'll keep digging into the story. Next week another Psychic Kids deception will be exposed.

Emails like this are why I do what I do. Anything can be said or written about. God knows the truth-- and that’s what matters.

"Kirby, You are a strong man!! An amazing creature of God!!! I want so bad to leave a comment with the dumb asses that are claiming and sending harsh words your way!
